Been ages since I drew my scrunklies <33 I wanted to draw something similar to those group poses acrobats/gymnasts do, but instead within this context theyre all holding onto eachother for dear life
I used chisels for the kids and the whites of the eye, and i used a dremel for carving the "spokes" of the iris (writing this with pumpkin juice splattered over my face)
I left the flesh mostly intact for structural integrity, and peeled off the skin and layers of flesh until I reached my desired "brightness" (thickness). The only things to actually poke through to the inside were Mono's eyeholes, because they were so tiny they kept falling off from the vibration, so I just poked some toothpicks in and stuck em back on.
Overall very happy with it and I feel accomplished :]
i am always thinking about how tarsier studios decided against making little nightmares 2 a co-op game because they knew it would impact how players engaged with the narrative and perceived the storyline.
six was an ai partner purely so that her character could be captured correctly, with integrity, and the story as a whole could be told to us truthfully and as it was specifically supposed to be portrayed. they didn't want people to be overly silly or "goof off" too much, which i completely understand.
it makes everything that happens in the game even more meaningful. i'm glad they went with that route.
tonally, i think that little nightmares 3 won't suffer too much from being co-operative. i think it's going to be a more lighthearted instalment anyway, and there's the added context that low and alone have been best friends for years, so them "having fun" together while we in turn have fun together won't detract from the narrative too excessively.
