Black Water: Abyss is about 5 spelunkers who run afoul of a hungry crocodile in an underground cave system. This is a tense thriller in the dark. Small cast so the kills are spaced far apart. Fairly basic, but awesome if you like crocodile movies. . . This is a sequel to Black Water (2007) which is long out of print. The VOD is listed as Unavailable. You can find the DVDs and a Region 0 Blu Ray from Spain on eBay and/or Amazon, but not cheaply. Why don’t more people watch Sirens tho?
One of the main leads is a POC non-stereotypical gay guy, another character is a puerto rican who (despite not being the smartest) is a good cop, a woman who is an incredible cop and doesn’t take shit from people who tell her otherwise and also is tough as hell but can also be feminine, an asexual woman who is v aware of her sexuality, a guy who is into the asexual girl and is okay with her being asexual and also gets corrected/educated whenever he makes an incorrect comment/understanding about it and then accepts it (sometimes it takes a hot minute but he tries), also the EMTs all work at a place run by another woman, another woman is the smartest person on the show, and another POC is the most senior person in the squad like
yes it has some problematic moments but everything does and i just why dont more people watch this show????
