CORONATION PART 2: THE PROCESSION

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: "At 10:00 AM the gates of Buckingsim Palace opened signaling the monarch is ready to depart. The balusters will be lowered just before the royal guard approaches. The Procession is about to begin and will follow a direct route to the Abbey."

Shon Gableton [SNN]: "Live at Westsimster Abbey, Hallie Howell is awaiting the arrival of the Royal family."

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: "Hallie, how is it?"

Hallie Howell [SNN]: Hi, Shon and Cameron! It's glorious here! There is such a feeling of newness in the air. It's palpable.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: "We can feel it!"

Shon Gableton [SNN]: "The balusters were just lowered at the palace, and the Queen's procession is in view. Let's head back there."

- - - - - ROYAL PROCESSION - - - - -

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Royal Guards lead the King's State Coach, carrying Queen Katherine I and Rainier, Prince consort. The coach is being pulled by 4 white Stallions.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: The King's State Coach was first used at the coronation of King Albert I in 1784 and has since been used to transport every monarch to their coronation. The coach has taken the longer route from Buckingsim Palace, down The Mall, since the coronation of King Edward I in 1888.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Rounding The Lara-Leigh Memorial, the Queen and Prince consort wave to the adoring crowd.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: This is our first glimpse of Her Majesty wearing the State Diamond Diadem, made in 1820 for King Albert I. Since King Albert I, the Diadem has only been worn by Windenburg queens, whether they reigned or were consorts. It was first worn by Queen Isabella, consort to Albert I, in 1830 after the Kings death.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Just behind The Queen's coach, in The Rolls Royce State Limousine, is The Queen Mother, The Prince of Brindleton Bay, and The Princess Grace. The little prince was expected to be amongst Royal Pages but insiders say The Queen preferred Maids of Honor.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: 136 years later, history is made as Queen Katherine I travels down The Mall preparing to be crowned this nations first Queen!

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Let's head to Westsimster Abbey as the royal family arrives. Hallie?

Hallie Howell [SNN]: Yes, Cameron. The Royal Family has just arrived! The crowd erupted in a loud roar upon seeing four black Rolls Royce's, bearing the royal flag, approaching carrying senior members of the royal family.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Guards stood at attention while the Queen and Prince consort's procession passed.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The tomb of the unknown soldier sits underneath Memorial Arch, and is the central location for Remembrance Day observations to honor armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.

Hallie Howell [SNN]: Back at the Abbey, the Duke and Duchess of Kent are the first to arrive, showing their roles as the most senior members of the royal family. Their Royal Highnesses also arrive in formal robes. The Duke wearing his Order of the Garter robe while the Duchess wears the Royal Edwardian Order mantle, reflecting her status as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Edwardian Order.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: "King George I named her a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Edwardian Order, the highest possible rank, in 2007."

Hallie Howell [SNN]: He did, indeed!

Hallie Howell [SNN]: The Earl and Countess of St Peters followed. Prince Louis, heir to the dukedom of Kent, donned not only his Queen Katherine I Coronation medal but his Royal Edwardian Order, which were bestowed upon His Royal Highness last month. The Countess, wearing a green @sentate dress, wore the Royal Family Order of George I.

Hallie Howell [SNN]: Third to arrive is the younger sister of Queen Katherine, Princess Lara, Countess of Boykins and her husband Anthony, Earl of Boykins. The Princess is wearing a traditional coronation gown and tiara, along with the Windsor sash and the Royal Family Order of George I.

Hallie Howell [SNN]: The Duke and Duchess of Hastings arrive also in formal robes; equal to that of The Duke and Duchess of Kent. The Duke was invested as a Knight of the Garter in 2020 while the Duchess was invested as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Edwardian Order in 2022.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: "You can see the slight difference in their robes."

Hallie Howell [SNN]: Yes, the robes of the Edwardian Order features a red stripe along the border. In a statement just released from the palace:

"At the request of the Queen and Prince consort, Dukes and Duchesses both are wearing formal robes and mantels for the [historic] occasion."

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: So, now we know attires have been well coordinated for the senior royals. Just like the royal guardsmen in the Queen's gorgeous procession, having just passed Memorial Arch.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Yes! Her Majesty's procession is making its way down Parliament Square Street.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Crowds cheer as Queen Katherine and Prince Rainier pass.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: At the west door of the Abbey, Officers of the Order of Knighthood descend from upstairs to begin the Coronation Procession. It will be a procession composed of elements of both the Church and State, the Spiritual and Temporal life of our land.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Representatives of The Knights of the most noble Order of the Garter make their way down the naive first, in their blue robes. They are followed by representatives of the most honorable Order of the Protea, in robes of green.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The rich blue carpet spreads down the aisle of the sanctuary, which hides the black and white checkered floor of the choir of the Abbey. The beautiful contrast of colors inside the abbey is on full display.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Once again the color changes and there comes the most ancient Order of the Iwé, in scarlet robes.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: After a brief gap, the Prime Minister of Brindleton Bay along with the Prime Minister of Sulani follow. Behind them, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the Rt. Hon. Sir Linwood Keller, Knight of the Garter.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Immediately behind the Prime Minister is the Dean of Westsimster. He leads the next procession through the screen under the orchestra and the organ and out into the brilliance of the choir. We see them now, high above the alter, as the Cross of Westsimster is born by the Rev. Hilliard.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Following the dean are Representatives from the churches of Windenburg and Brindleton Bay, showing the processions transition from State to Church.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: The Church of Winenburg representatives include the Lord Bishops who end the first part of the coronation procession.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: After a brief pause, we see a glimpse of the Heralds in their full splendor. Four Windenburg heralds followed by one Brindleton Bay herald stand as trumpets play announcing The Queen.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: With the sound of the trumpets anthem, The Queen and Prince consort's arrival at the Abbey has been announced.

Date Night Cocktail Challenge:

Thanks to @hrhhouseofjackson for tagging me for this challenge is the first time I ever do challenges in tumblr but it's not perfect as I was expecting but I least I did it how I want it to look.

As you know this couple is a rollercoaster but I have to say that I love Prince Raphael and Julie as a couple this two was inspired by a novel that I love so much.

CORONATION PART 5: THE FINALE

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: And so, as her father and his father before him did, Her Majesty now moves in her procession down the length of this abbey, in her beautiful gown with its long purple train. And she wears, as we see her now, the Imperial State Crown. In her hands, the scepter and the rod. The signs, that in her hands, justice and mercy are never to be separated.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Exiting the abbey for the first time, The Queen and Prince consort greet the awaiting photographers and sims.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: History has been written and sung here today, in this warm and beautiful old building, where it has been written and sung for many hundred of years.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Yes, but never before have we witnessed the crowning of the sovereign, or so many shared in her dedication, in this abbey church!

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Her Majesty will hand the orb and scepter to a waiting footman before returning entering the 136-year-old Gold State coach.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The ride back to the palace should be far more comfortable for Her Majesty than the journey here.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: I can't believe they fit her large train inside.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Queen Katherine I and Prince Rainier are formally crowned and will now depart the abbey.

(crowd cheering)

Shon Gableton [SNN]: The crowd is going wild, Cameron! Her Majesty is very beloved by her sims.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Indeed.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: We have thoroughly enjoyed watching the coronation of Queen Katherine I! We will be following Her Majesty's procession back to the palace where the entire royal family is expected to appear on the balcony. In the meantime, wow!

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Wow is right, Cameron! Can we talk about Prince Rainier! The first prince consort crowned, and he didn't kneel!

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: That was the biggest shock. I guess the monarchy is trying to appeal to the younger generation and eliminate many of those unsavory traditions.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Crowds have lined Parliament Square Street as Her Majesty's procession passes.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: You can even see a glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Kent!

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The procession is moving at a walking pace with four Windsor Greys pulling the Queens coach.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Are those royal guards following the state coach?

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: They are the Queens Guards. I believe a total of twenty-four are amongst today's procession guarding Her Majesty.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Such splendor!

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Oh! The Duke and Duchess of Kent!

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Their Royal Highnesses are first behind the Queen.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: The Duke removed his hat!

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The procession is rounding Memorial Arch and will soon be at The Mall.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Yes. Her Majesty is almost home. As the procession enters The Mall, we get a glimpse of the Grenadier Guards who have just joined the final leg of the procession.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Upon returning to Buckingsim Palace, Their Majesties will receive a Royal Salute from the United Kingdom and Commonwealth Armed Forces who have been on parade all day. The Royal Salute will be followed by three cheers from the assembled service personnel, as a tribute from the Armed Forces on parade to The Queen and The Prince Consort on the day of Their Majesties’ Coronation.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Just behind the Duke and Duchess of Kent are the Earl and Countess of Boykins.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The Duke appears to have put his hat back on. The wind must have calmed down more!

Shon Gableton [SNN]: I just love his hat!

Shon Gableton [SNN]: The Earl and Countess appear to have had a lovely coronation. Boykins House will be issuing an announcement in the coming days. Royal insiders speculate Their Royal Highnesses are announcing a tour.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: So much to look forward to this year, Shon!

Shon Gableton [SNN]: As Queen Katherine enters the gates of Buckingsim Palace, we now look forward to the start of a glorious reign.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: We do, indeed! Other members of the royal family arrived by car and will be making an appearance on the balcony with Her Majesty shortly. It's been a magnificent Coronation Day!

Shon Gableton [SNN]: It has, Cameron! I can't believe it's over.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Almost over! For me, the cherry on top of the cake is going to be the balcony wave! Coronation Day won't feel complete until Her Majesty greets her subjects from the palace!

Shon Gableton [SNN]: We'll be right back, after this commercial break, for the final moments of The Coronation of Queen Katherine I.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The Windenburg Royal Family appear on the balcony, with Her Majesty Queen Katherine I, as chants of "Hoorah, Hoorah!", "Long Live The Queen!" and choruses of 🎶God Save the Queen🎶 ring on.

Samuel Connelly [Equerry]: I put those plans you requested on your desk.

King George: Great! Thank you. Could you get the Duke of Kent on the phone, please?

Samuel Connelly [Equerry]: “Right away, sir.”

King George: (coughing) Hmm, I don't recall there being a door in that room. It couldn't be? Could it?!

(door opens)

Queen Rowena: Oh, I love those flowers! The Floral Tribute Garden does such a lovely job. Ugh, you wouldn’t believe the morning I've had. Lady Delores messed my schedule up and I missed two engagements! Oh! Why didn't you tell me about Lara? She stopped by the palace this morning before I left to tell me you’re allowing them to move into Royal Lodge.

King George: Hello to you too!

Queen Rowena: (giggles) I’m sorry! Your Majesty!

King George: (kiss) Take a breathe.

Queen Rowena: (deep sigh) Hi, darling!

Queen Rowena: How are you? Did you have a nice weekend? I’m sorry I couldn't come sooner!

King George: I went shooting with a few of the local men and (coughing continues), had an audience with Prince Vester on Saturday. Sunday was just church. The weather has been quite lovely here! Chilly. Brisk.

Queen Rowena: What’s with that cough?

King George: It’s nothing. So, I have a lovely day planned for us. I know I haven't shown you the love you deserve lately and today is all about showering you with more of it!

Queen Rowena: Oh, George. What have you done? When did you have the time?

King George: Give Lady Delores some grace. She was helping me prepare for your arrival, in secret. She has been working overtime to help me plan this day all for you.

Queen Rowena: I was wondering why she was acting so secretive.

King George: I want to be open with you, Ro. I want to start by telling you what I've been searching for these last few weeks. (coughing) Follow me!

Queen Rowena: Where are we going?

King George: Do you trust me?

Queen Rowena: Of course I trust you.

King George: I have a fun day planned for us! It starts now!

King George: (coughing)

King George: (coughing continues)

(television news anchor talking)

Shon Gableton [SNN]: The Duchess of Brindleton Bay looked gorgeous while attending the races in Sable Square. The Duke and Duchess, who announced being pregnant with their third child last week, will make several stops on their tour of Brindleton Bay ahead of what is to be a busy season of royal engagements for the pair.

King George: (somber) My sweet, Kate.

ALWAYS SECOND PLACE

[Buckingsim Palace, Buckingsimshire - MONDAY 7:42 AM WST]

(Lara enters)

Princess Lara: Your Majesty!

Queen Rowena: Hi, darling! What are you doing here?

Princess Lara: I saw daddy before he left Friday. Anthony and I had an audience with him. Anthony and I leave for our first royal tour this week and I wanted to see you this morning before you left for Sumpterson.

Queen Rowena: Oh, yes! You two are touring Boykins.

Princess Lara: (excited) I also have some news! Daddy approved our request to move into one of the townhomes at Royal Lodge, instead of dreaded Kently with Uncle Louis! I know you’ve missed me since I got married and moved so far away. Now, I'll be back on palace grounds. We’ll be close again!

Queen Rowena: How lovely, sweetheart!

Princess Lara: (reads newspapers) I see Kate’s pregnancy announcement is headline news. (smug) If she chips a nail, it’s Breaking News but if I end world hunger no-one would care.

Queen Rowena: Not today, Lara!

Princess Lara: (sarcastic) Oh, I’m kidding!

Queen Rowena: Don't put your insecurities on Kate! Your sister works very hard, and on top of that she gets no privacy from the media! It’s not easy being heir.

Princess Lara: It’s not easy being spare!

Queen Rowena: You’ve been hiding in newlywed-land for the last few weeks while the rest of us have been working and managing the demands of royal life.

Princess Lara: and on that note, I’m leaving. Goodbye, mom!

(Lara exits)

Queen Rowena: Wait! I’m sorry, darling. I just have a lot on my mind. I didn't mean to snap at you.

Princess Lara: I forgive you, mom. I can only imagine how stressed you’ve been lately. I know I’m hard on Kate. I apologize. Getting away for a few days will do you some good. Try to relax!

Queen Rowena: I have no idea what your father has planned for us. I was supposed to leave on Friday but couldn't miss those engagements. He went shooting on Saturday and attending church yesterday so he’s relaxing nicely without me. He needs it!

Princess Lara: (laughing) We all know he hasn’t been himself since heart surgery last year. When I saw him last week, he seemed different. He told me how proud he was of me and how much of a great guy he thought Anthony was for me. Well, I should go. Anthony and I have an engagement at the Museum of Art!

Queen Rowena: Oh, have a wonderful tour. I’ll see you when I get back from Sumpterson. I really am happy you’ll be closer.

Princess Lara: Me too!

Queen Rowena: I’m heading to the airport shortly. I should be there in two hours, if you need me. I love you, darling.

Princess Lara: Love you too, mom.

BUCKINGSIMSHIRE, Windenburg (SNN) -- Buckingsim Palace has issued a new photographic portrait of King George I, his daughter the Duchess of Brindleton Bay (31) and grandson Prince Phillip (6) to mark 31 years on the throne.

This is only the second time a portrait of the king and the two future monarchs has been released, according to the palace.

The portrait was taken by photographer Markus Richardson in the Throne Room at Buckingsim Palace last month.

A previous portrait of the three generations of the royal family taken by the same photographer was released in April 2017 to celebrate the King’s Silver jubilee and was then used on special commemorative stamps.

Her Royal Highness wore the Duchess of Brindleton Bay Pearl Brooch for the occasion, a first since being granted the title of the same name.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Indeed and what better day to return than with Breaking News out of Buckingsim Palace! The Duchess of Brindleton Bay is pregnant! I’m going to say - I knew it! She’s had a glow during her last few engagements and I said then that she had a pregnancy glow!

Shon Gableton [SNN]: “What surprised me, though, was how quickly this was announced. If you do the math, Her Royal Highness is still in her first trimester. With this being the Duchesses third child, we can only suspect that is the reason for the palace making the announcement.”

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: “Well, the announcement came from Highpark House not Buckingsim Palace.”

Shon Gableton [SNN]: “Trust me, that announcement came from the palace. I guess we will now be on Royal Baby Watch until September! Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Brindleton Bay!”

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: “In other royal baby news, cameras captured the Earl and Countess of St Peters out and about yesterday enjoying the beginnings of Spring in Greater Windenburg. This was also the first time we got a glimpse of six month old, Jackson, Baron Downkirk.”

Shon Gableton [SNN]: “The trio were spotted leaving The Ivy with a group of friends. How rich of them!” (laughing)

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: “The royal couple, who have shared their wedding elopement, pregnancy announcement and maternity portraits with their millions of followers on Simstagram, have yet to release official portraits of Jackson Leo Windsor.”

THE ROYAL MINT - 2023

Each year, the Royal Mint issue a number of new commemorative coins to mark the notable anniversaries of the coming 12 months. 2023 is no different, and as we kick off the New Year, the Mint has unveiled two special new coins.

The obverse of each coin features the latest definitive portrait of Their Majesty’s The King and Queen consort.

To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Boats, this §2 coin features a letter written by Wilfred Douglas, one of Windenburg’s most famous captains.

The Douglas Letter was a valuable source of first hand accounts to one of the most notable incidents in Windenburg history, including a pivotal point happening at Port Hastings during the Battle of Boats. The limited edition coin is likely to be a sought after collector’s piece.

The second release in The Royal Mint’s Landmarks of Windenburg Collection is the Buckingsim Palace one-ounce gold bullion §5 coin, which features a portrait of the regal estate taken during His Majesty’s 2017 Silver Jubilee. Standing at the top of the tree-lined avenue known as The Mall, at the very heart of Windenburg, is Buckingsim Palace, the Windenburg monarch’s main official residence.

Originally a town house built by Sir George Sussex, 1st Earl of Buckingsimshire in 1842, Buckingsim House was purchased by King Edward I in 1858. The monarch added additional wings and renamed it Buckingsim Palace. King Edward I would become the first monarch to use Buckingsim Palace as their official residence in 1860. Stepping out onto the famous balcony during the celebrations for the opening of the Great Exhibition in 1861, he started a tradition that endures to the present day.

The coins are available to buy from The Royal Mint now, and you can even get your hands on a full set of them from The Royal Mint. They are also in circulation, so keep an eye on your change to see whether any wind up in your wallet!

ROYAL MAIL

Silver Jubilee stamps were also reissued, commemorating 30 years of the reign of King George I. The stamps were first issued in 2017 to celebrate His Majesty’s Silver Jubilee.

Two stamps feature 1992 coronation portraits of the King and Queen Rowena.

Two additional stamps feature Their Majesty’s 2017 Silver Jubilee portrait and a rare portrait of the King with the two future monarchs, his daughter Princess Katherine and his grandson Prince Phillip.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: King George has left the building! Sumpterson, located about 300 miles west of Buckingsimshire in Henford, is traditionally used by the royal family for entertaining during the Spring but His Majesty is heading there a few weeks ahead of schedule.

King George will continuing to rest up while at his country home with palace insiders saying he and the Queen consort, who is scheduled to depart for Sumpterson tomorrow, will stay til next Wednesday.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: “The 61yr old monarch flew by helicopter from Buckingsim Palace to Sumpterson on Thursday. SNN was live at Edward I airport for his departure.”

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: “Although still recovering from heart surgery several months ago that have kept him from a full royal schedule, including a canceled appearance at the COP5 Climate Change Conference in Mt Komorebi, doctors have allowed His Majesty to make short trips by air.”

Shon Gableton [SNN]: “In lieu of an in-person appearance at COP5, the monarch addressed attendees at a Tuesday evening reception via a video that highlighted his great passion for the environment — a crusade he passed down to his children.

The King hopes to be back in action next month, according to the palace: “It remains The King's firm intention to be present for the palace Garden Party and Easter Service.”

CORONATION PART 4: THE HOMAGE

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Welcome back to the coronation of Queen Katherine I. As Her Majesty moves to the Homage chair, we get a glimpse of King Felipe and Queen Aoki of Oasis Springs.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Further down his row is President and First Gentleman of the United States of Americreek, Paulina and Prescott McNally.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Yes! Just behind them is the Emperor and Empress of Sulani, Keanu and Lorelei Boulle.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Her Majesty has made her way to the Homage chair as we get a glimpse of the first to kneel.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: The Duke of Kent is first to pay homage.

Prince Louis: "I Louis, Duke of Kent, pledge my loyalty to you in faith and truth. I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb, so help me God."

Shon Gableton [SNN]: We now move to the crowning of Prince Rainier. It appears he will not be kneeling.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: His Royal Highness is being crowned with The Prince Rainier Crown.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: The crown was made for His Royal Highness, unlike the crown worn by Queen Rowena. Her Majesty wears Queen Lara-Leigh’s Crown, designed by Hammond & Co for the 1888 coronation of her husband, King Edward I.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: The same crown she wore for the 1992 coronation of her husband, King George I?

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Yes! Her Majesty just removed the arches.

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: His Royal Highness is making his way back to his Estate chair, after removing his robe. While The Queen sat in the Coronation Chair to be crowned, His Royal Highness will be seated in his Chair of Estate when the Crown is placed on his head.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Windenburg has officially crowned it's first Prince consort!

Cameron Dorly [SNN]: Her Majesty is moving back to the Enthronement chair, for the final proclamation, after removing her supertunica.

Shon Gableton [SNN]: Her Majesty also appears to now be wearing The Imperial State Crown.

News out of Sumpterson Estate of the sudden death of King George I was received by the nation with profound sorrow. The announcement from the palace at 10:20 this Tuesday morning said:

"The King, who retired to rest last night in his usual health, passed peacefully away in his sleep early this morning."

King George was 61 years of age and was in the thirty-first year of his reign. He was known to have been suffering from a worsening heart condition.

A meeting of the Accession Council was held this morning to proclaim the accession of Princess Katherine as the new Sovereign. She will soon be on her way home with the Duke of Brindleton Bay and the royal aircraft, which will now leave Brindleton Bay at 9:00 AM after being delayed by a thunderstorm. The Princess is expected to reach Easton at 1:30 PM tomorrow afternoon, when she will take the Royal Oath which will seal her accession to the throne.

The King's last public appearance was at Edward I Royal Airport on Thursday last week to depart for Sumpterson, a private royal residence. Although he looked thinner in recent weeks, many speculated His Majesty’s weight loss was due to diet changes. His sudden death comes just over a year after having a heart operation.

The Queen consort was at Sumpterson with the King, who was out on Monday morning and also in the afternoon. Her Majesty had just arrived in Sumpterson yesterday, later than initially scheduled.

Arrangements for the lying-in-state and for the funeral must wait on the decisions of the new Queen.

After the Prime Minister in the House of Commons and Lady Nadira Romanov in the House of Lords had expressed their grief at the news both Houses adjourned, as did also the Courts of Justice.

Prince Phillip is now heir to the throne and his sister Princess Grace becomes second in succession with Princess Lara third.

The Proclamation of Accession to be read tomorrow was signed by members of the Privy Council at Windenburg Parliament this morning. The text is as follows:-

"Whereas it hath pleased Almighty God to call to His mercy our late sovereign lord King George the First of blessed and glorious memory by whose decease the Crown is solely and rightfully come to the High and Mighty Princess Katherine Isabella: we therefore the Lords Spiritual and Temporal of this Realm being here assisted with these his late Majesty's Privy Council with representatives of other members of the Commonwealth with other Principal Gentlemen of quality with the Lord Mayor, Aldermen and Citizens of Easton do now hereby with one Voice and Consent of Tongue and Heart publish and proclaim that the High and Mighty Princess Katherine Isabella is now by the death of our late sovereign of happy memory become Queen Katherine the First by the grace of God. Queen of this realm and of her other realms and territories, head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the faith to whom her lieges do acknowledge all Faith and constant Obedience with hearty and humble Affection beseeching God by whom Kings and Queens do reign, to bless the Royal Princess Katherine the first with long and happy years to reign over us. God save the Queen"
