Rival Matriarchs Challenge Rules

Note: I call this “Rival Matriarchs”, and talk about each matriarch as “she” in the rules. Your matriarchs don’t need to have she/her pronouns. They can be of any gender as long as they can be impregnated.

Yes another new challenge! Basically, this is a rotational 100 baby challenge. Except depending on how many matriarchs you have you might want to go over – or even under, why not – 100 babies. I wanted to do a new 100 baby challenge with infants, but this challenge can get repetitive, so I came up with a solution. This is also meant to be harder than the 100 baby challenge, money-wise especially. Credit to SnarkyWitch for the 100 Baby Challenge rules!

If something hasn’t been mentioned here, the 100 baby challenge rules (linked above) apply.

Starting Out

- You can start this challenge with as many matriarchs as you wish. You will need to decide how many babies you will have in total based on your numbers of matriarchs and how long you want the challenge to last (or you can just keep going until you get tired of the challenge, your call – only thing is you have to end the challenge at the end of a rotation of course).

- Your matriarchs can have any trait or aspirations, but I advise you try to make them different, as the point of this is having a more interesting and varied 100 baby challenge. Your matriarchs can be related, or not. They can be friends, enemies, or not even know each other, the storyline is up to you. The only things are, they must all be the same age, and they cannot be immortal.

- Each matriarch starts alone in her own household with 20 000§ funds.

- Each matriarch needs to buy a furnished starter home (you can use an EA one, get one from the gallery, or if you want to go the easy route, build one that suits your needs). Once the sims are each in their starter homes, set their funds to 0§.

- Your matriarch is not allowed to move lots. You can expand the house when you get money though.

- For lot traits and challenges, they have to be set before the matriarch moves in (whether it’s one of the first matriarchs or a daughter taking over). You cannot add or remove any after.

- You will need the mod MCCC to turn off pregnancy progression when unplayed for the matriarchs. You also need to turn off aging when unplayed for the played households in your game settings (you can leave aging on for your NPC’s). I also recommend turning on aging for pregnant sims with MCCC.

- Each matriarch will be played one sim week in a rotation. The goal is to have 100 (or whichever number you set) babies in total. The matriarchs are competing to see which line will have the most babies out of the 100!

- If you have seasons, you can set the season length as you wish, and start in any season.

Impregnation Rules and RPO Rules

- Each donor (or “baby daddy”) can only impregnate one of the matriarchs once.

- The child of another matriarch can’t become a donor (they are rival lines, the sons of the family are supporting their mothers and sisters!).

- If you have the RPO mod, which I recommend for even more challenge, you cannot make an infertile sim fertile. The only exceptions to this rule are 1. your starting matriarchs (there is no point in you remaking the exact same sim in CAS just to have her be fertile this time) and 2. if you have a collab with someone else, like if a follower or a friend makes you a sim to use as a baby daddy and they turn out infertile, then you are allowed to bump up their fertility to 1.

- If you have the RPO mod, and one or several of your matriarchs have fertility under 33 when she becomes a young adult, you are allowed to bump it up to 33. We want this challenge to be hard, but having to try for a baby over 15 times before it works isn’t hard, it just kills all the fun. If you don’t want to bump up the fertility though, feel free not to, it’s your game after all.

- However, still with RPO, if a matriarch’s fertility lowers due to a miscarriage or simply due to becoming older, you are not allowed to bump it back up. If your matriarch becomes infertile due to a miscarriage, she retires and her youngest daughter takes over. Fertility potions are only allowed when the matriarch or the baby daddy have low fertility (that means they’ve had their fertility checked and it says it’s low).

Money Making Rules

- Each living matriarch needs to earn money a different way. Basically, you can’t have two matriarchs doing painting for money at the same time, however if your matriarch that did painting dies, you can have another doing painting in the future.

- Digging around (going into the world to find plants and fossils and such to sell) does not count in the previous rule, as when starting with 0 simoleons, there isn’t really a way to avoid doing that at some point. However, dumpster diving does count.

-Also, you can try out an activity for a few days then decide it isn’t for your sim, but you aren’t allowed to come back to it after deciding that. This is mostly in case your sim decides she dislikes the activity from the get-go.

Succession Rules

- When a matriarch ages to an elder, one of her daughters still in the household takes over, you get to choose which one. The daughter only takes over when she becomes a young adult, no teen pregnancy here.

- If a matriarch gets a child taken away from her, she failed at her duty. Then the taken child doesn’t not count towards the 100 babies, and your matriarch retires. She doesn’t get to have any more children, and her youngest daughter needs to take on the role of matriarch (you don’t get a choice here).

- When a daughter becomes the next matriarch, she needs to use the household funds to buy a new furnished house. She must sell all of the previous house’s furniture – except things that can’t be replaced like photos, tombstones, birth certificates... Then you have to set the funds back to 0§. These matriarch changes are the only times you’re allowed to move lots, so choose wisely.

Do you love legacy challenges but are intimidated by all the generations, and rules and just want to age up your sims already!!? Well this is for you! Rules:

Lifespan: Short

5 Generations - 5th Generation is played till elder and they die

Option to use a Chaos Wheel for added spice - Spin at least twice per generation.

Option to randomize offspring per generation unless a generation specifies the offspring

Gen 1: Benjamin Button

Fish Career

Starts Gen as YA

On their birthday to age up to an Adult, they end up aging down to a Teen.

Name all your kids after fish

Gen 2: All I Care About is ME

Move out as a teen to a new world

Fall in love with a sim and get pregnant with triplets

When the triplets are toddlers, the dad dies suddenly and suspicously

After he dies, you become a A-List Celebrity from all the media and get follow by papparazi.

You have a terrible relationship with the next generation heir

Gen 3: Death Follows Me

You hate your mom and accuse her of killing your dad.

You run away from home as soon as you age up as a teen and take your dad's urn.

You discover a world called Glimmerbrook and become a Spellcaster of Untamed Magic

You practice your magic until you learn the de-deathify spell to bring your dad back to life

You practice your spells on other sims who die and become friends with the grim reaper.

Option to add the grim reaper to your family to make a child via genetics. If you go about this option, that child is the next heir.

⁂ Single Dad 7 Kids

I wanted create a single dad challenge with spice. This dad hates kids he is the worse person , he does what he has to, but not from a place of love.

Back story*⁎⁕

He hates kids because he thinks they have ruined his life, He was happily married to the love of his life, he never wanted kids, but he loved his wife so much he’d do anything for her. She desperately wanted kids so to make her happy he agreed. His 1st true love died shortly after giving birth, in a house fire, he believes the stress of the baby and lack of sleep caused her to be careless in the kitchen or she thought she’d celebrate with fireworks indoors…. so he was never the same again. it’s a very sad really. he went off the rails. He spent his nights and days getting drunk in bars and picking up women. Till he got himself in a pickle of baby mama drama.

Objective*⁎⁕

Raise 7 kids alone from birth till young adults. When your 1st child/children ages up to a toddler/s they can stay with a family member (sleep over), as the house will be too full to keep kids there while the last child and mother are there. Move the toddlers back in after you've had your last child.

Rules*⁎⁕

Lot trait, on the ley line, flirty, and your choice for last one. once you have all your kids you can change the lot traits. life span long. No youth potion allowed

No adoption

Create family members, grandparents or aunties and uncles or best friends, that live somewhere else to watch your 1st born(sleep over) while we make space in the house. if you end up with more than 7 kids because of twins you can give one back to there mum(This will make for a nice spin off for a long lost twins series). As the eldest needs to come back home.

Dads information*⁎⁕

1. Single dad gone off the rails challenge

2. Dad‘s name; is dirty harry(choose a name that fits the character optional),

3. Young adult.

4. Traits; evil,hot headed,hates kids.

5. Aspiration: super parent,

you may use custom content, cannot cheat unless it’s to move object’, reset objects, create a sim, remove money or remove a sim from household. No cheating to aid game play like cheating needs. if u need to improve needs use potions, earn it!!. (use satisfaction points) No!! youth potion allowed.

Unemployed. you may only work from home. stay at home dad. make money how u see fit. You can build your house from scratch or move into pre built house, The house must be between £20,000 +2,000 for wife. no real estate or money cheats. unless you don’t get the correct starting fund like i did.(sims issue)

6. Wife must die in mysterious house fire.

7. Must complete super parent aspiration even though he hates kids.

8. Mums to be can only move in when pregnant and leave after having kids cannot keep any money when the mums to be move in.

9. Must have 3 pregnant women living together at the same time, in the beginning stages try not to get caught cheating, (it’s no issue if you do get caught, its definitely fun to try. When the baby is born mum must leave, can use cheats to remove from house.

he can have girlfriends but no live in ladies after he has the 7 kids.

Game play

1. Start out with a wife, woohoo have a child or two…

2. Wife dies in a house fire.

3. Dad mourns, then goes off the rail. must drink every night in a bar or at home. can hire a nanny when he goes out to bar/night clubs. kids can go to day care if he needs to go out maximum 3 times a week.(gym,dates,etc.) minus £350 from funds for child care, £50 per child.

4. Try for a baby with 3 women or more women, it depends on if you have twins. kids must be as close in age as possible. accept for first child/children as they are already there.

5. Women must give him the babies then leave. fall out with all mums at some point and 2 children.

6. Age up all kids to young adults,

7. All kids must have at least one character value trait when they turn to young adult.

8. kids must complete one job to max level and there main aspiration out of the child stage. dad must see at least one kid complete these goals. (you can switch to control that child)

9. At least three toddler should complete all skills before ageing up. do more if you can manage it. it is possible to have them all complete skills.

10. One child must be a detective, doctor or scientist.

Seasons pack only create a family reunion day. air grievances should be an option

You can either

1. build as you go 2. move house 3. have pre built houses for the future.

challenge complete if you finish all of the above

challenge failed if:

1.If dad doesn’t complete his aspiration

2.kids get taken into care

3.you don’t raise them alone after last child is born.(u cant have a nanny all the time only when u need to go out)

4.Kids don’t complete aspiration and job and at least 1 toddles doesn’t complete all skills

5.You must drink every day, get a bar if its easier

6.Be mean/evil, have all mums dislike you and 2 child.>:(

► NOT SO BERRY x BERRY PASTEL RAINBOWCY - AN UPDATED VERSION

as some of you might know, I've written updated versions of the not so berry challenge and the berry pastel rainbowcy before. however, I keep wanting to switch between the two challenges or abandoning my one save for the other. so, on a random Monday evening I figured, why not combine the two for the ultimate updated challenge experience? my lovely fellow simmers over at @berrygameplay convinced me to write stuff down and... the NSB x BPR updated rules was born!

►WHAT ABOUT THE RULES

as with my two other updated challenges, i've written the rules in a google doc (that you cannot edit! stop asking for permission to edit the file!). if you want to save the rules for yourself, go to file > create a copy and you're able to save the rules wherever you want and edit them. this will not change the original document.

there are disclaimers, a list of packs you need for this challenge (most packs are optional) and an index to move through generations quickly. each gen has their own introductory story (you don't have to adhere to these stories!), required traits - aspirations - careers, the generational rule (bpr), reward traits to buy, and the list of objectives catered to that generation. feel free to edit these objectives to your hearts desire! this challenge is supposed to be fun :)

coming from a long line of privileged sims, you’re ready to break away from your family and pursue your own dreams. you’ve only really felt close to your grandparent and never told anyone you were the sole heir to their old, rundown farmhouse. starting off with nothing, you pick up the hobby you were never allowed to put into practice: painting. you find it difficult to let other sims in and may come across as rude sometimes. you just need that one special sim to make you feel like it’s all worth it. slowly but surely, your own family starts to grow, but not without its ups and downs…

Almost a year ago I decided to write a legacy challenge inspired by my favorite legacy challenge, Crybaby Whims - @draeyad, and now it's finally ready!! This challenge doesn't have the same amount of drama as crybaby whims (in my opinion! consider it the clique in comparison to mean girls yknow) but I do think it's still pretty juicy!

Cherub Fears is a 12-generation legacy challenge taking inspiration from melanie martinez songs and the stories that pop into my head when listening to them lol. It's full of love, betrayal, heartbreak, friendship, and revenge so if that sounds interesting to you keep reading to get to the excitement.

When I play challenges I don't listen to the rules/objectives 100% so I took that into account and tried to only give a few things to do per generation. If you encounter something in your own personal gameplay that don't like change it! 

Don't have a trait from a specific pack? Change it! Don’t feel like doing 12 generations? Do 10, 8, or even just 2! Don't feel like maxing a skill? Don't do it! This game is meant to be fun and an escape from the real world do what makes you happy. (just don't change something for your own personal game and demand I change the rules to reflect your revisions please.)

You always knew you were destined to be a revered matriarch ever since you were a toddler. Your parents were always away when you were younger, all those business trips funneling money into your little hands to ensure you were well-manicured and presentable. An only child in a gorgeous mansion with expensive furniture and silence. Pretty on the outside, hollow on the inside. You always wanted to be just like them, stunningly loved by most and hated by few, but it's hard to idolize someone invisible so you vowed when you had a family of your own they'd be perfect. On your 18th birthday, you finally leave your house of glass behind to start your life. Very quickly you fall into what feels like how love was described to you by your maids/butlers and before you know it you’re married listening to the pitter-patter of tiny feet run around your small shabby suburban home.  

It all seems so perfect until you're stuck in the shadow of your bumbling partner and dreadful children making being a parent feel more like a curse, you do what was taught, run away, and start over, so that's what you do. With a newer more daring lover in arms reach will they make you the glorious matriarch you were meant to be.

~ Uh oh, there it goes I said too much, it overflowed ~

You were always taught to keep your mouth shut but you were never a good listener so that could have gone better. Your parents always kept everything a secret: where they grew up, their first love, even their relationship with your grandparents. Still, you'd grown a special talent for reading between the lines and deciphering whispers. When you were old enough to go to school you were all too eager to make friends just so you could tell them all the secrets you'd collected, being a gossip in your family was basically a death wish although you didn't seem to pick up on the glares and sneers thrown your way. All you wanted was someone who'd listen and actually care about what you told them, but you were always yelled at and told to be more careful “or else”. 

Wanting nothing more than to get away from that suffocating family you hoped and wished a sweet sim would come and whisk you right off your feet and one day you got your wish. They were gorgeous and thoughtful and curious just like you so it felt so easy to tell them everything, they were the love of your life after all. Unfortunately for you, that same naivety and goodness were again to your detriment.

You didn't adore many things in life except for dessert. People always seemed to gossip far too much in your humble opinion, if you could you would get rid of every bad egg in your way. Sure you loved your family, most of the time anyway, but something about flaky croissants and decadent brownies was all you needed in life, mostly because they couldn't talk your ear off and you knew how to handle a cavity or two. Your parent despised that you kept so much of your feelings inside but they just didn't understand that sugar, butter, and flour were far more comforting than their advice. That's how you knew you were absolutely screwed after you met someone that made your heart flutter more than the scent of freshly baked pie. Sure they were so delectably beautiful but that was the extra cherry on top of meeting this wonderful sim. They were charming, witty, and so tooth rottingly sweet. 

So when you found them with another sim that looked just like you in your beloved kitchen everything turned sour quickly. You were quick to leave them for bigger and better but uh oh, it looks like someone's got a bun in the oven.

Being so in your head as a child always seemed to get you into trouble but expressing your thoughts was worse for wear so you decided it was better not to speak at all. You assumed everyone hated you from the moment you were born which wasn't a hard conclusion to come to when your parent was indifferent to you at best. That's why when a fire started in your kitchen you didn't know what to do except run. Your parent(s) swore they weren't that upset at you for burning not only their beloved kitchen but also the house down so you chose to believe it was true since they were the only one in your life who didn't think you were completely weird. As the years went on you started to speak out little by little and decided to express yourself through your clothing. 

When you reach high school you've kept the outlandish fashion and manage to find a few friends along the way too! They're not exactly the nicest but they're someone to talk to and you've learned forgiving and forgetting get you further in life. That is until you come back from your daily jog and find them stealing all your things and- wait, is that a fire?!

Maybe one day you'll find a sim who likes you for you but until then you'll keep trying to steer clear of flammable objects.

You knew deep down it came from a sense of love and pride but there was always a voice in the back of your head that said otherwise. “They're jealous!” it shrieked “All they've achieved was light arson and a shitty relationship! You're the only thing they've ever done right in their life”. Of course, you knew those were terrible awful things to think of those who cared for you but what if it was right? 

Your parent(s) wanted you to use your intelligence for “good” in the world but you were determined to live your own life and make your own mistakes without fear of their expectations… as soon as they looked the other way of course. When your childhood friend confesses their love for you your excuse to get away is right at your fingertips so you dive head first into that relationship and never look back.

By proxy that makes you the world's next sim to fawn over, not because they think you're interesting, no they couldn't care less about you, it's your parents they're after and you're their golden ticket. Maybe things will be better for you once you start school, but that'd be too easy now, wouldn't it? Every sim you're interested in seems to lose all interest in you once they realize who you're the child of, or maybe their feelings were a facade the whole time. Either way, you're happy to rid frivolous romance and friendships from your life if it means one less sim getting on your nerves. 

But that sentiment is easier said than done when you spend most of your nights as a teen in lounges or nightclubs. You may not have inherited your parent's huge brain but you knew sneaking out and staying out till school the next day was bad, that's why you did it!

Wait what? They're here for a project, not because they were overcome with a deep unrelenting maddening love for you? Oh well, you'll find a way for them to love you, or from the looks of it put your tremendous acting skills to use and pretend you loved them; if you had to kiss one geeky frog to become royalty it's what you'll do!

Your siblings get praised for everything even when one of them gets expelled. “Well, you know school isn't for everyone sweetheart!” How is that fair? Instead of letting that anger and frustration fester you decided to fuel it by learning how to play any and every instrument you could get your hands on and for once your parent was proud of you! Truly proud of you, until they learned you didn't want to use your talents for the greatest thing in life, fame and fortune. Soon that outlet you loved so much turned into a curse as your parent found every opportunity to exploit you.

Overworked constantly without so much of a second glance, so one day you decide enough's enough the second you've got your diploma in hand you delete all your contacts and move as far away as the simoleons in your pocket will take you. All your life you wanted to make a difference that would last for generations, especially in the school system, you worked year after year to be the teacher you and your parent always wanted and deserved. You worked relentlessly to become the kind of teacher who would see when kids were hurting, bring everyone's favorite snacks, and wasn't just there for the measly paycheck. On the rare days off, you weren't going over your lesson plans, you spent them hopelessly scrolling through dating apps wishing for a match that would lead to the love of your life, or at least a lover for the night.

So when you meet a struggling single parent on a blind date you volunteer to help them with the very little time and money you have, even going out of your way to take care of their kid on the weekends. But the thought of ending up all alone kept you up all night long as well, so what were you to do? Ignore those feelings and pretend they don't exist of course! There was no malice behind the question, you were just a kid after all, but it was always gnawing at your mind especially because you had the faintest memories of someone raising you who wasn't them. Ever since you were young you've wondered why both parents weren't in your life. Of course, it was perfectly normal to be raised by one sim but your parent seemed flighty whenever you asked them about it. Come to think of it, they acted differently when you asked anything about them or the rest of your family. You were angry for them, your grandparents, and your ancestors who suffered awful fates but most of all you were angry for yourself and you wanted the world to pay. You picked up a part-time job as a teen to help out around the house but if you're being honest that sucked too so you had to find a different method. You didn't consider yourself an evil person but you were realistic and knew you weren't exactly an angel either. Sure you didn't need to steal from people but they were rich jerks that sure as hell didn't deserve their mommy and daddy's “pocket change”. 

Your parent worked their ass off putting away criminals just to spend their little bit of money giving to people in need and taking care of you. There was one kid you felt kind of guilty about robbing because surprisingly they were sort of cute if you looked past the excessively expensive jewelry and weirdly pointy teeth. Too bad they weren't cute enough to stop you from breaking into their house. You left with something pretty valuable but you don't remember actually stealing it or how you got back home. And now that you think about it you feel different, not quite human anymore…

This is a ten generation legacy challenge that will cure you of your boredom! Each generation has in-depth storylines that helps assist you to adding more volume to your sims origins and gameplay. With sets of goals and requirements that each generation must complete before a new heir takes over.

Generation 1 ⚘ The Fixer Upper

All your life you’ve dreamed of renovating homes. It is your passion, and nothing is going to stop you! You start out as a young adult with only $5,000 simoleons to your name and an empty plot of land waiting to be utilized into something good! With your own two hands, build up a home and furnish it with items you’ve collected/bought. You can either dumpster dive, shop at retail stores, or thrift at flea markets.

However, countless nights alone in the unfurnished home has been quite lonely. You can’t help but feel like this is something that should be done with a family. So you go on dates. Hoping to find someone to settle down with, to build this legacy with. It is on your 5th date that you believe you’ve found your perfect match. You know this with your whole heart and soul! The two of you meet, fall in love, and get married all within the span of a week. You’re a busy couple, the house won’t build itself.

Soon, the now once empty lot is complete! And you are ready to move out. Move out your household and sell the furniture. Now your family is ready to move onwards to another renovation. However, this time it’s an abandoned home near the beach in Sulani. You move your family into this abandoned home and with the help of your partner, along with your little children, you guys renovate this into your permanent forever home.

Generation 2 ⚘ The Greatest Love Triangle 

The new neighbors moved across the waters. They had a little kid just the same age as you. The kid even went to the same school. You decided in your head to make this kid your friend. No scratch that, your best friend! You spend your afternoons combing the beach for seashells and unique items to give to your shy new friend. Neglecting your after school projects and even homework at times. All you wanted to do was play with your new friend.

All things changed once you reached high school, your best friend got hotter, you got hotter, or was it the blazing sun in Sulani? Who knows, but all you knew was you have the hots for your best friend and there is nothing you can do about it. Or is there? A little harmless flirt here and there wouldn’t kill anyone right? It was at this time that your parents started cracking down on your “future”. They constantly nag you about your goals and plans and honestly you yourself have no clue. The constant badgering puts a slightly negative strain on your relationship with your parents. So when you become a young adult, you move out with your best friend to a nearby beach home.

The two of you are now ready to party all night long. Yes you still have the hots for your bestie but would you be down to ruin this good friendship if things don’t end up working out? That fear keeps you from pursuing anything with them but like before, the little flirtatious tickling, endless cloud gazing, and even little winks here and there just pulls at your heart strings. One night at the bar with your bestie, a hot new eye-candy appears. You feel a tingle, or is it the drink? You introduce yourself and sparks ignite! Thus, the greatest love triangle of a lifetime!

A whole childhood of listening to the same love story a thousand times. At this point you’re surprised you’re still sane. Nothing is worse than listening to your parents rave on and on about how perfect they are for each other and how they were meant for one another. Oof, not to even mention the constant public display of affection! It was embarrassing for you!

You grew up gagging at the thought of love. The thought of “the one” disgusted you. The last thing you wanted to do was find “the one”. You wanted to be better than your parents. You wanted an education, a REAL job. After high school you set out for Uni to pursue a career in engineering. Finally you’re excited to move the heck out of that god forsaken town! Screw the beach! The only problem was you didn’t have much money to attend college and you were not going to ask your parents for money! The only other person you knew that had money to help fund for your schooling was your Aunt/Uncle. Mustering up the courage to contact them, you ask them to borrow a sum of money. And set out to start your life!

You move out of Sulani and into one of the Uni dorms. There you meet your best friend and a few lovers. But they never lead to anything serious. You weren’t looking for that. You graduated and quickly found a job as an engineer. Your goal is to climb the top of the ladder. Nothing else matters to you. It was all going perfectly fine until a one night stand leaves you with very bad news. The glove broke and now so are you.

Living in the busy city was the best thing ever! There was always something happening, never once a dull moment. That is where you adapted the love for social media! Always posting selfies and Simstagram stories. Without the internet you would simply die!

A week into your new job as a style influencer, you received a call. Your landlord is evicting you for unknown reasons and you have to move out IMMEDIATELY. Stressed out, you call up your parent and they tell you that your great-grandmother has some land somewhere in the countryside.

Defeated, you hop on a plane and travel to Henford On Bagley. The smell hits you and you almost faint. The stinky cow poos and chicken feed was definitely not it. What’s even worse? NO WIFI! The place is totally OFF-THE-GRID! A one bedroom shack, a few chickens and a cow. Now you have to find your way and make this place your own.

Growing up in Henford, you realized that there are quite a lot of strays but not even a vet clinic in site! So you set out your goal. Open the very first vet clinic right at the heart of Henford On Bagley. The goal is to make sure your love for animals is reached across the whole town.

When it comes to your love life, you are quite picky. You never see yourself being with someone that doesn’t like animals so you set out to only date people who have the animal lover trait. Hoping you could start a family with little fur babies running around as well.

You are a criminal. A horrible one at that. One that will go through any lengths to steal and cheat. It is what you do. Some can say you got the twisted genes. Your parents were disappointed in you so they kicked you out. Now homeless and broke, you have to use your skills to earn a living.

Steal, lie, and cheat to your heart’s content. Because that is all you can do. But there is a catch. In order to stay clear from the police, you must change your appearance every time you get caught. That means plastic surgery. And it’s not free. $2000 simoleons to change your appearance. So be sure to not get caught.

Generation 7 ⚘ Finding The One

Your childhood life was very interesting. Your parent(s) spend a lot of time moving around and not very much time settling down. You were taught from a young age the ropes of thievery. Yeah your brain tells you that you might want to dabble in it from time to time but you want to be different. You want to be different from how your parent(s) has raised you. Therefore you set out to start your own life and with this new life of yours you find love while finding yourself.

You have your very first love. The person of your dreams or at least that’s what you hoped that person was. After a long good time together things just don’t work out so you divorce. Then there’s the hot fling of the spring. Still trying to find yourself you fall deeply in love. Not wasting any time you both get married as quickly as you can. However, after a kid and some issues in your relationship you guys decide to part ways.

Two failed marriages in, living life as a single parent, and still hopping from job to job things just aren’t going your way. At this point it just makes sense to just be alone. But you’re a hopeless romantic. You just can’t help it, you want that thrilling romance that you read in the novels, you want that kissing in the rain moment. That is when you suddenly meet this incredible sim. It’s the fact that there’s nothing special about the sim that makes them so special. However, do you hear wedding bells or is your heart still mending from preivous wonds?

Generation 8  ⚘ Salsberry Steak

You grew up not knowing how to cook. Gosh the thought of being in a kitchen just pisses you off. Like what kid wants to spend their time cooking? So what do you do when you become old enough to move out on your own where your parents aren’t cooking for you? Well, you only eat quick meals. Quick and easy sandwiches all you have to do is just unwrap them, slap them together and bam, you have a meal. Those Salsberry Steaks, takeoff the wrapper put them in the microwave and Bam! Food. 

It sounds like a great life. Never having to cook your own food, just ordering out all the time and if not ordering out you’re always eating quick meals. But this all comes to a slow realization that this is not healthy. But dang it you can’t cook your own food so you’ll just have to learn slowly. 

Research online or watch cooking shows on the TV until you reach level seven of cooking. Once reaching level seven of the cooking skill then that is when you will venture into making your own food for the first time. How will it go? Well you have to start making food for you to know ;)

Ever since your dumb cousin taught you what video games were, you became obsessed. You play it every day after school, video games just consumed you. There was no time for chores. But you’re not just a regular shmegular gamer girl/boy. You are going to go pro. You can feel it in your bones. So you set on a journey to win at least three of the gaming contests at Geekcon. 

This is how you plan to show the world that the next pro gamer is on the rise.

Aspiration: Computer Whiz

Career: Tech Guru (Esports Gamer Branch)

Generation 10  ⚘ Back to Where it all Began

Music comes to you whenever you’re inpsired. Yet, why was that so hard to achieve when you lived in the city? Not long after you failed to write any music or become inspried, you almost want to give up. But that was when an ad for Sulani pops up on the computer. This was a place for inner peace. The place for inspirtation. You move to Sulani. The fresh hot sand digging between your toes and the warmth of the sun that embraces you. The sweet salty smell of the ocean just hits you right as you wake up every morning. You hear locals around saying how great Sulani is for exercising and clearing one’s mind. The locals recommend fishing, swimming, biking all of those things just so that you could be one with nature. 

The melodies and lyrics just come to you. Pick up your guitar, piano, or violin and begin to write your masterpieces when you become inspired. Journal and write down your thoughts daily. Create blogs about your time on the islands and let the peace embrace you.

But Daddy I Love Him!: A Disney Princess Legacy Challenge

I didn't really like any version of the Disney Princess Legacy so I decided to do one myself! I tried not to repeat traits, skills... But sometimes I couldn't figure out, sorry! I also included a color scheme based on the princess. You have to complete the aspiration, career and max the skills, unless stated otherwise. I also included some extra goals!

It's not playtested, so I might make changes as I play. I have an edited lifespan that makes Young Adulthood and Adulthood a little bit longer, but Teenagehood and Childhood shorter. My guess is that you could finish the challenge in normal lifespan, but you also can do it in long or with a custom lifespan, or even turn aging off if you want to! Whatever you want to do!

Also, I had to be quite... Creative in some of the princess descriptions, because their personalities are very similar.

Also, there's not really any general rules. Your heir can be any gender you want (Everyone can be a princess!), if you want to cheat, cheat, if you wanna change something, change it!

Generation 1. Snow White 🍎

Running away from a terrible family, you find yourself in a tiny cottage in the middle of nowhere. You dedicate yourself to keep it clean and make it a home. A hopeless romantic, you dream of finding your true love and form a beautiful family.

Although some things never change… And naps are still your favorite pastime!

You love to knit! It is something you can do while sitting. Unlock all types of clothing and buy objects available with the Knitting skill

As a teen, you discover that you are not a normal sim: you are a merfolk. Your curious nature makes you move out from your family house to the place where your parent was born and raised, and reconnect with your roots. But when you fall in love with a normal sim, you decide to renounce your other form and become a boring, normal human.

Turns out your roommate is a monster, but for some reason you can’t stop thinking that there is goodness deep inside them…

You move to Del Sol Valley looking for fame, and there you find someone that sparks your interest… But if you do commit to someone, it will be your decision. Your parents will have nothing to say in the matter.

Enduring Roots Legacy Challenge

A seven generation Sims 4 legacy challenge based on some of the plants found in the base game. Focus on gardening and some supernatural gameplay.

Required Packs: None

Optional Packs (for some alternate aspirations/traits & optional goals): Cats & Dogs, City Living, Cottage Living, Crystal Creations, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, For Rent, Get Famous, Get Together, Get to Work, High School Years, Horse Ranch, Island Living, Journey to Batuu, Jungle Adventure, Outdoor Retreat, Paranormal, Realm of Magic, Romantic Garden, Seasons, Snowy Escape, Spa Day, Strangerville, Vampires, Werewolves

Getting started: Aging can be set to whatever you prefer, including being turned off entirely. Gen 1 can be created alone, or with a spouse, sibling, parents, etc., and can be of any age. The listed aspiration does not have to be picked as the sim's first one; they just need to work on (and ideally complete) it at some point in their lives. This challenge is meant to be flexible and guide storytelling, not to be intentionally difficult, and adapt to whatever packs you might have (whether that be none, or all of them), so feel free to make changes to the rules where you need to.

Currently play-testing. As I do, and as new packs release, I may make some changes. 

Generation 1: Orchard 

Always bright as a summer’s day, and beloved by everyone you’ve met, sometimes you’ve been told you’re too much of a good thing. And that some quirks are just not endearing. It’s not your fault you can see things others can’t, and you refuse to pass up the opportunity to make a friend, living or dead.

Traits: Cheerful, Erratic [or Cringe (for rent), or Clumsy], Outgoing [or Dog Lover (cats & dogs), Cat Lover (cats & dogs), Animal Enthusiast (cottage living), or Horse Lover (horse ranch)]

Aspiration: Friend of the World, Friend of the Animals (cats & dogs), Country Caretaker (cottage living), or Emissary of the Collective (werewolves).

Goals:

Reach level five of the comedy skill

Befriend 3 ghosts*

Have a penpal

Grow an orchard of at least three different types of fruit trees

Have a ghost join the household, or a current member die and rejoin the household as a ghost.*

Optional: Live in a haunted house residential (paranormal)

A student of the earth and the night sky, you’ve always found the mysteries of the world more intriguing than any facet of contemporary human civilization.

Aspiration: The Curator, Archaeology Scholar (jungle adventure), Outdoor Enthusiast (outdoor retreat), Jungle Explorer (jungle adventure), Cure Seeker (werewolves), or Crystal Crafter (crystal creations).

Goals:

Grow an herb garden 

Grow wolfsbane flowers*

Have a telescope

Reach level 10 of the logic skill

Moonbathe at least once during each different lunar phase

Optional: Max the vampire lore skill (vampires), herbalism skill (outdoor retreat), and/or gemology skill (crystal creations).

*If you don’t have Vampires or Werewolves, then you may have to use debug to find the flower, as although it is a base game plant, I don’t know if there is any way to access it through base game gameplay. 

Generation 3: U.F.O Fruit

Your parent inspired in you an awe for the cosmos, but unlike them, who considered it distant and obscure, you’re determined to experience as much of the expanse as you can. All your dreams of adventure you will make reality, and your belief in true love may guide the way.

Traits: Good [or Generous (for rent)], Childish, Loyal [or Adventurous (snowy escape)]

Aspiration: Soulmate, Extreme Sports Enthusiast (snowy escape), Strangerville Mystery (strangerville), or Paragon of Hope (journey to batuu).

Teen Aspiration (optional, would not replaces main aspiration): Live Fast (high school years) or Goal Oriented (high school years)

Aspiration: Chief of Mischief, Serial Romantic, Villainous Valentine, Party Animal, Leader of the Pack (get together), World Famous Celebrity (get famous), or City Native (city living).

Dull days and long nights under pulsating lights and darkened rooms. You’re an eccentric bartender constantly surrounded by the pungent vitality of your workplace, and you find it therapeutic. But as you truly begin to perfect your craft, you find yourself bored with drinks that only free the mind for a time, and become obsessed with creating the elixir of life. 

Traits: Evil, Perfectionist [or Overachiever (high school years)], Foodie [or Glutton]
