Champs-les-Sims - Eté 1909

Elle-même passe beaucoup de temps avec nos enfants (ce dont je ne vous ai pas encore parlé comme je m'en rends compte). Ils ont eu trois ans cette année. Le temps passe très vite, mais c'est tant mieux, je suis enfin en mesure de tous les différencier. Marc-Antoine me ressemble physiquement, c'est indéniable, alors que Arsinoé et Cléopâtre sont le portrait de leur mère et que Sélène semble avoir mélangé à merveille nos deux visages. Et Dieu merci, aucun n'a hérité de mes déficiences ! Je ne pouvais pas imaginer pire trait à transmettre.

Albertine m'a reproché à plusieurs reprises de ne pas passer assez de temps avec mes enfants. Pourtant, les enfants de cet âge ne sont pas encore intellectuellement assez murs pour avoir une conversation constructive et je ne suis pas le parent le plus affectueux qui soit. En sus, tout ce qui appartient au domaine du jeu échappe complètement à ma compréhension depuis que j'ai quitté l'enfance. Je m'efforce de suivre son conseil, mais cela m'ennuie et il me tarde que ces enfants grandissent un peu. A ce jeu là, Juliette est bien meilleure.

J'espère que ma prochaine lettre partira d'Egypte et portera le compte rendu de mon chantier. D'ici là, j'ose espérer que ma thèse vous divertira un temps soit peu.

Constantin : Je peux bien faire une exception pour toi mais... c'est compliqué. Je ne saurai pas comment dire les choses. Je ne me souviens plus de ce dont je t'ai parlé.

Albertine : Tu ne m'as jamais réellement dit quoi que ce soit. Ce sont surtout ta grand-mère et Adelphe qui m'ont parlé d'elle. Et j'ai vu la photographie d'elle et de ton père dans ton ancienne chambre. Mais j'aurai aimé que ce soit toi qui m'en parle.

Constantin : Elle est tombée malade quand j'avais douze ans. La tuberculose. On l'a envoyée dans un sanatorium pour la soigner et... elle n'est pas revenue.

Albertine : Oh Constantin... je suis tellement désolée. Si j'avais su que c'est de cette façon que tu as perdu ta mère...

Constantin : Ne le sois pas, elle n'est pas décédée là-bas si c'est cela que tu as compris.

Albertine : Ah non ? Mais où alors ?

Constantin : Elle n'est pas morte. Elle est simplement partie ailleurs. N'écoute pas Adelphe, il se trompe à son sujet.

Albertine : Partie ailleurs ? Mais où ?

Constantin : Je ne sais pas, quelque part pour mieux guérir sans doute. Elle reviendra quand elle le pourra. Juliette se marie bientôt après tout...

Albertine : Constantin...

Constantin : Je... je ne veux plus en parler... S'il te plait Albertine, ne me force pas... Jouons plutôt.

Albertine : Pardonne moi. Je ne t'en parlerai plus.

Now that I have emotionally recovered: Here are my feelings about 1899 S2: -All in all -> Greatest second season ever made.

Favorite character arc:

-I’m biased here but Krester. The way, he overcame the loss of his leg through the sim was done so well. Plus seeing his relationship with Ramiro heal made me feel so emotional.

Favorite episode:

- 2x07 “The Depth”. I loved the twist that in the actual reality (and I hope that is the case lol) the crew is not in a space but in a u-boat. It ties the settings of the first and second season together perfectly well.

-Honorable mention to 2x02 “The Crew”. I loved seeing all of the characters actually work together. Plus the dynamic between Jerome and Ángel was *chief’s kiss*

Favorite moment:

-Tove coming out to her brother

Funniest moment:

- Tove giving Ramiro the shovel talk. He was so scared lmao

Favorite shot:

-Clémence with that bisexual lighting and the gun <3333

Now, let’s speak about the Melien family (I know, nobody will read all this ^^’).

Lugubrious, sinister, these are the words that Joseph's colleagues usually use to describe him. This brilliant psychologist does't care about the human being, he is more interested in the functioning of the human mind. As is sister, Agathe Barrière, he has a fascination for the supernatural.

He only married Éliane because his parents wanted him to, as she was already pregnant. But he still slept with other women, and when on day, he came back home with the young Victor, he never give any explanation. But a single look at this icy stare they both had, with their light grey are, was enough for Espérance.

She has never been a condident woman, and as the time pass and her beauty fades away, she withdraw into herself. Her only pleasure was to attend receptions, thanks to her husband's relations with people in high places, hoping to attract attention with her extravagant dresses and seductive attitude.

As a stay at home mom, she never really cared about her children. With this heavy atmosphere in the household, it is a miracle that their first daughter, remained an optimist ! Patience always knew what she wants to do when she gets older: become a wedding planner, to help loving couples organize the best day of their lives. She is a hard worker, maybe it's her way to avoid her parents. But she would raher spend her evening at her office looking for the perfect caterer, with a pizza and a glass of wine, than attending a family dinner.

Garance always been there for her sister, assisting her in her work, as her official photographer. People always think she is the older one, because of her serious and melancolic attitude, her short hair, and her elegant outfits. However, she often think about running away, with only her camera and some practical clothes, to explore the world and capture its beauty.

The youngest one, David, never really met his parents expectations. When he was still a child, he spend most of his time outside, playing with his friend instead of doing his homework, coming home with his shirt dirty and his pants torn. He is not a rebellious one, he his simply carefree ! He enjoy waking up early the sunday, to go fishing with his father.

Victor often come along with them. He does not particularly like this activity, but Devoir his the only person to accept him in his family. Espérance rejected him, his sisters have always been distant, and his own father never give him any attention.

He had always been a calm boy, but it's sometime hard not react to his stepmother animosity. Thanks to the practice of boxing, he manages to keep his self-control, when he his facing her. He also share his father interest for the occult, and his studies on these subjects are for him another way to escape.

Do any of the ROs play video games? :0 if so, what sort of games do they play? And could any of them be convinced to play with MC?

I don’t think any of them play video games as a specific hobby, but Teddy would probably get into JPRGs if he had more time. I can see Mars getting really into Fortnite in like 2016 or whenever it first came out and refusing to talk about it now. Ernest and Clémence tried to play Cuphead together and couldn’t finish it. Bridget is one of those people who downloads and mod the hell out of The Sims, and Alejandro plays mobile phone games and Animal Crossing.

I think all of them could be convinced to play a game with the MC for an hour or two.

Conselhos para manter: "Salve o desgaste ativo para o ginásio"

Algumas revistas sugerem que tudo saia no visual galicismo, com listras bretãs, óculos de sol enormes, bombas de balé, batom vermelho ... tudo menos do que usar uma boné e uma fileira de cebolas.

Indo ao mar nos itens clichê traz à mente "sarau fantasia Eurovision" mais do que real glamour gálico.

Você não verá muitas cores baratas ou berrantes nas ruas da França. Embora todo preto seja a imagem clássica do chique galicismo, tan, branco, azul, cinza são todos populares também.

E se as mulheres francesas preferem cores fortes, elas tendem a escolher uma ou duas tonalidades tonais, em vez de vibrantes confrontos.

Conselhos para ignorar: "Basta pular o cabelo e maquiagem completamente para obter a ar francesa"

Vestindo o que Guinut labareda de "estilo de boneca" com cabelo de ar "falso" perfeito, muita maquiagem e uma manicure francesa imediatamente sinaliza que você é um estrangeiro na França.

"Senhoras francesas tendem a fazer o contrário, elas ficam muito bonitas e depois pulam ou iluminam a maquiagem e o cabelo.

A balança cria esse visual sem esforço", disse Guinut.

"Mas, vamos ser honestos, isso não é muito fácil e só parece que é."

É importante honrar entre uma ar "sem esforço" e não colocar nenhum esforço.

"É exclusivamente uma ilusão", disse Hobbs ao The Sítio.

"Em primeiro lugar, a maioria das pessoas não consegue fazê-lo, e o esforço é feito para que pareça fácil. Se não funcionar, basta avultar anos à sua ar."

Ícones em estilo galicismo podem ter o visual “acabou de trespassar da leito”, mas se eles realmente acordaram desse jeito é outra questão, “maquiagem sem maquiagem” pode ser difícil de conseguir e cabelo despenteado toma alguns produtos.

Portanto, não fique desapontado se você despertar, vestir suas roupas e não se sentir uma vez que uma supermodelo francesa saindo pela porta.

Par ailleurs, nous avons d'autres loisirs en commun. Je suis en train de lui apprendre à jouer aux échecs. Il est certain que je ne suis pas le meilleur joueur qui soit, mais cela me plait de prendre comme prétexte son apprentissage pour recommencer à jouer. J'avais arrêté il y a de nombreuses années. Je gagne encore à chaque fois, mais il me tarde de me voir menacé par ma chère Albertine.

Transcription :

Albertine : Et pourtant, tu t'apprête à jouer.

Constantin : Pas du tout. Je te montre comment jouer, ce n'est pas la même chose.

Albertine : Si tu veux.

Constantin : Je prends les blancs, ce sera plus simple.

Albertine : Pourquoi as-tu arrêté de jouer ?

Constantin : Tu ne veux plus que je t'apprenne ?

Albertine : Bien sur, mais tu peux bien faire les deux choses en même temps, n'est-ce pas ? Jouer et répondre à ma question.

Constantin : Je ne... bref. Tu sais déjà comment déplacer les pièces ?

Albertine : Oui. Alors ?

Constantin : Je vais te montrer quelques tactiques de bases. Cela me semble bien pour une débutante. Tu as déjà entendu parler du coup du berger.

Albertine : Mon père l'évoquait de temps à autres, comme une stratégie assez basique.

Constantin : Peut-être, mais il faut que tu maîtrise les bases avant d'aller plus loin. Cependant, il faut que tu sache que je ne suis pas moi-même un très bon joueur, je ne me suis pas exercé assez pour pouvoir y prétendre.

Albertine : Et pour le coup du berger ?

Constantin : Si tu parviens à le mettre à exécution sans que ton adversaire ne s'en rende compte, tu peux gagner en quelques coups. Je vais te montrer.

Constantin : Avance ton pion en E4. Pour le contrer, je vais déplacer le mien juste ici. Puis déplace ta reine en H5.

Albertine : Ce n'est pas un peu risqué ? Elle est complètement à découvert.

Constantin : Ne t'inquiète pas, tu verras. Je déplace mon cavalier pour tenter une défense... voilà, maintenant déplace ton fou ici...

Albertine : Je vois, je peux ainsi faire un mat.

Constantin : Voilà ! Mais il faut bien sur le jouer autrement, n'importe quel joueur qui a un peu joué connait ce piège et le déjoue assez facilement.

Albertine : C'est assez amusant. C'est Adelphe qui t'a appris cela ?

Constantin : En fait, il n'utilise jamais cette stratégie. C'est ma mère qui me l'a apprise.
