I think I would choose to re-read Sign again for the first time ❀

If you're not familiar already, it's super wholesome, smutty, kink/fetish, lighthearted, kind of dark at times, and laugh out loud funny!!

I remember when I first read it years ago, the first 10 or so chapters had my dying laughing at the voice-related situation ~ iykyk ♡

Highly recommend this one ♡

Recommendation BL Manhwa

This is not donghua but a manhwa I happen to find. This manhwa still needs to be finished, and there is still much to be revealed. However, I felt compelled to write a review because I adore it.

The title is “Shining Summer”. So far, I enjoy this manhwa. I am not sure if the original tags said "psychological" or "body swap," but I prefer to think of it as psychological. There are numerous theories about this manhwa, but none of them have been proven.

Rating: 10/10 (This is just my thing. Don’t mind the manipulative seme. You’d be his bitch. )

The story started when the MC and ML were 10 years old. They were involved in a bus accident on their way to the dojo where they had enrolled. Because the ML shielded MC, he only sustained minor injuries. Because of the accident, ML seemed to become a different person. He was saying that he does not know this boy who goes by the name Jihoon. He claims that Jihoon is not his name, that this is not his body, and that those are not his parents. MC was distraught and came out of the hospital room, crying. Is he telling the truth, or is it a truth he claimed by himself because of a head injury? Maybe it is more complicated than that...

You understand what I mean by "psychological" and "body swap." ML believed he swapped bodies with the original Jihoon, so when he grew up and reconnected with MC, they went looking for his original body.

I like the pacing of this story. The pacing is perfect for a story of this genre. Some people are upset about it, but I do not think there is anything wrong with the pacing taking so long to develop. This book requires a good build-up because there are many mysteries lurking. Not only to build up the plot but also to build up and flesh out their characters. The writer is doing great. This book keeps me going because I am curious about what is going to happen next.

Characters are also well-developed. They are not flat. Even the minor characters are well-developed. I particularly liked how the author shaped the ML into who he is. He is not entirely a good person; despite the book's many cute moments, he is not designed to be fluffy. That is fine because his character is tailor-made for him, given what he is been through. I just hope the best for him because he’s been through so much. Imagine if you were in his shoes. Most people would lose their minds.

I just hope the plot does not veer off course. And, if it does, I hope it swerves like a race car. I have high expectations for this manhwa. I wanted to savor it while also learning more about it and reading more of it.

Tickletober Day 6: Hiding

Ft. Kang Soohwa x Go Yohan

A/N: this is not a very known fandom, (hence the pic for reference), BUT THAT'S OKAY because I'm indulging myself with this tickletober event dkdkfkf my precious babies from "Sign" you guys should read that manhwa like yesterday!

Just a heads-up, Yohan is deaf but he can read lips. So in this fic, all "italic dialogues" are said in ASL!

"You can go up first, I need to check something real quick."

"Huh? Check something? Do you need any help?"

Yohan shook his head with a smile, "I promise I'll be quick, you can shower first if you want."

Soohwa nodded, "okay, but hurry up."

Yohan nodded and leaned down to kiss Soohwa's lips.

Soowah rushed up to the third floor. This was perfect! He thought about putting his plan into action while Yohan took a bath, but this was just perfect!

He hurried into the room and closed the door behind him, then immediately hurried to the drawer where he kept his costume. He chuckled to himself, pulling out a headband with little red devil horns on it.

His cheeks warmed a bit. He knew it was silly and he almost regretted doing something like that, but it was just a little prank he wanted to play on Yohan.

He wouldn't get angry, right?

He didn't have time to reconsider his plan before he heard Yohan's footsteps coming up to the room. Soohwa gasped, quickly putting on the headband and turning off the light before Yohan could get in.

Soohwa hid just as Yohan opened the door and a nervous smile made his lips tremble when he saw his boyfriend, surprised to find everything dark. He thought that Yohan was going to turn on the light, but instead, he closed the door behind him and approached the bed, at that moment, Soohwa tiptoed out of his hiding place, trying to keep his feet from hitting the ground too hard so Yohan wouldn't notice from the vibrations.

Yohan approached the bed and Soohwa was surprised when Yohan murmured his name, so he barely had a chance to put on that sinister smile he had practiced earlier in the mirror before Yohan turned around.

"Boo."

Soohwa could see Yohan's soul almost leave his body. He gasped loudly, nearly choking himself as he placed a hand over his chest.

"Soohwa?! What are you- oof!"

Soohwa laughed and hugged Yohan's waist, pushing him onto the bed and climbing over him, straddling his hips.

"S-Soohwa, you scared me to hell - ugh, n-no, thahahahat tihihihickles!"

Soohwa gasped, his hands stopping for a brief second before he started to tickle Yohan's sides again. Yohan's giggles filled the room right away and Soohwa felt his cheeks heating up.

"Wow," he said breathlessly. "Yohan, i didn't know you were ticklish..."

"I ahahaham! S-Sohoho now stahahap!"

Soohwa shook his head, "I can't stop now; I wanted to scared you a bit, you see," he said, pointing at his horns. "I'm a demon."

"Ahahaha dehehemon?! W-Wehehell you scahahared me, nohohow- ahahaha! Plehehease!"

"Ah, look at me! I can't do signs right now!" He tapped at Yohan's cheek, forcing him to open one eye while he laughed. "Like I said, my plan was to just scare you, but now that I know you're ticklish, I need to find your most ticklish spot!"

Soohwa was grinning widely, his cheeks were pink, but not pinker than Yohan's. He's never seen him laughing like this, the sound was cute, but also made Soohwa's heart skip a bit at how deep it was.

"S-Soohwahaha! Plehehease, stohoAHAP!"

Soohwa was a bit startled when Yohan suddenly threw his head back as his hands slithered under Yohan's shirt, his fingertips digging into the softness of Yohan's lower tummy.

He gasped, "did I find you most- oh you can't see me," Soohwa giggled as he tried to fight Yohan's hands trying to catch his wrists.

It really seemed like he had hit jackpot, but just to make sure, he tickled Yohan's lower belly faster, fingers clawing and vibrating against the warm skin.

Yohan howled, his back arching off the bed and his hips twisting in a weak attempt to throw Soohwa off, but Soohwa tightened his thighs around Yohan's body to prevent himself from falling off the bed.

"Oh Yohan, I wish I could record you right now, where was my phone again? I think-"

A sudden tap on his arm made him look up at Yohan.

"Please, not there. Stop!" Yohan weakly signed, his body shaking with silent laughter. Tears of laughter pooling at the corners of his eyes.

Soohwa felt his heart fluttering. How could Yohan, all red in the face and in hysterics, look so handsome? How was his big, open smile so pretty?

"Fine, fine. You win," Soohwa mumbled and he finally stopped, letting his lover sink back into the bed as he laughed and giggled breathlessly.

"You're the wohohorst," Yohan giggled out as he finally opened his teary eyes to look at Soohwa. "You're not allowed to that ever again."

Soohwa laughed, leaning down to kiss Yohan's lips.

"I can't make any promises now that I know your secret, Yohan. So be ready for a sudden attack... like now!"

"N-Nohoho! No mohohore!"

This was not exactly how Soohwa planned his very spontaneous prank, but finding out that Yohan was ticklish was, definitely, a result that he would not change for anything.

BONUS SCENE

"Uh... Yohan?"

"W-What now?" Yohan asked breathlessly after surviving another lethal attack to his, (according to Soohwa's words), best tickle spot.

"Um... y'know, your laugh was really nice so now I'm a little..."

"Oh."

It seemed that Yohan's voice would always have that kind of effect on Soohwa, no matter what.

I've read 2 bls in my life and all of the three confirmed couples slept together before they even kissed.... Idk am I missing something? Aren't they skipping a few steps?

sinopsis:

Hay algunas cosas inusuales sobre Café Goyo. Número uno, su café apesta. Número dos, sus clientes nunca ordenan fuera del menú. Y número tres, Yohan, el gerente del café, es sordo. Entonces, cuando Soohwa se une a tiempo parcial, aunque no se espera que aprenda a hacer un buen café, se le pide que amplíe su vocabulario de lenguaje de señas más allá de las palabras "más alto", "pago" y "por favor". Pero cuando Yohan se ofrece a darle clases privadas, Soohwa se muestra reacio. No porque no quiera estudiar, sino porque tiene dificultades con Yohan.

buenooo... que puedo decir.

la obra es bastante buena y disfrutable, tiene personajes entrañables, una trama interesante y es bastante adictiva (no en vano me la leí en un día jaja) la primera temporada te deja con ganas de conocer mucho mas de cómo se desarrollará la relación de los protagonistas.

en la segunda temporada, la relación escala y se presentan conflictos interesantes, la relación de la pareja secundaria es más notoria (y eso se agradece) además de descubrir más del pasado de otros varios personajes. No me gustó mucho que se le diera una redención tan simple al antagonista

en la tercera temporada ya se presentan lo que son conflictos de pareja, además de que el protagonista regresa a la universidad. hay más capítulos donde exploramos las relaciones que tienen personajes secundarios con otros terciarios, además de que la pareja secundaria tiene mucho protagonismo!! tiene un final precioso y te prometo, te encariñarás con alguno de los personajes

la verdad le puse 9.5 porque llegó un punto en que las escenas de intimidad sexual me incomodaron (probablemente sea por mi trasero asexual jaja) pero dejando eso de lado, es cómico, y tierno. super recomendado!!!
