Tickletober Day 6: Hiding

Ft. Kang Soohwa x Go Yohan

A/N: this is not a very known fandom, (hence the pic for reference), BUT THAT'S OKAY because I'm indulging myself with this tickletober event dkdkfkf my precious babies from "Sign" you guys should read that manhwa like yesterday!

Just a heads-up, Yohan is deaf but he can read lips. So in this fic, all "italic dialogues" are said in ASL!

"You can go up first, I need to check something real quick."

"Huh? Check something? Do you need any help?"

Yohan shook his head with a smile, "I promise I'll be quick, you can shower first if you want."

Soohwa nodded, "okay, but hurry up."

Yohan nodded and leaned down to kiss Soohwa's lips.

Soowah rushed up to the third floor. This was perfect! He thought about putting his plan into action while Yohan took a bath, but this was just perfect!

He hurried into the room and closed the door behind him, then immediately hurried to the drawer where he kept his costume. He chuckled to himself, pulling out a headband with little red devil horns on it.

His cheeks warmed a bit. He knew it was silly and he almost regretted doing something like that, but it was just a little prank he wanted to play on Yohan.

He wouldn't get angry, right?

He didn't have time to reconsider his plan before he heard Yohan's footsteps coming up to the room. Soohwa gasped, quickly putting on the headband and turning off the light before Yohan could get in.

Soohwa hid just as Yohan opened the door and a nervous smile made his lips tremble when he saw his boyfriend, surprised to find everything dark. He thought that Yohan was going to turn on the light, but instead, he closed the door behind him and approached the bed, at that moment, Soohwa tiptoed out of his hiding place, trying to keep his feet from hitting the ground too hard so Yohan wouldn't notice from the vibrations.

Yohan approached the bed and Soohwa was surprised when Yohan murmured his name, so he barely had a chance to put on that sinister smile he had practiced earlier in the mirror before Yohan turned around.

"Boo."

Soohwa could see Yohan's soul almost leave his body. He gasped loudly, nearly choking himself as he placed a hand over his chest.

"Soohwa?! What are you- oof!"

Soohwa laughed and hugged Yohan's waist, pushing him onto the bed and climbing over him, straddling his hips.

"S-Soohwa, you scared me to hell - ugh, n-no, thahahahat tihihihickles!"

Soohwa gasped, his hands stopping for a brief second before he started to tickle Yohan's sides again. Yohan's giggles filled the room right away and Soohwa felt his cheeks heating up.

"Wow," he said breathlessly. "Yohan, i didn't know you were ticklish..."

"I ahahaham! S-Sohoho now stahahap!"

Soohwa shook his head, "I can't stop now; I wanted to scared you a bit, you see," he said, pointing at his horns. "I'm a demon."

"Ahahaha dehehemon?! W-Wehehell you scahahared me, nohohow- ahahaha! Plehehease!"

"Ah, look at me! I can't do signs right now!" He tapped at Yohan's cheek, forcing him to open one eye while he laughed. "Like I said, my plan was to just scare you, but now that I know you're ticklish, I need to find your most ticklish spot!"

Soohwa was grinning widely, his cheeks were pink, but not pinker than Yohan's. He's never seen him laughing like this, the sound was cute, but also made Soohwa's heart skip a bit at how deep it was.

"S-Soohwahaha! Plehehease, stohoAHAP!"

Soohwa was a bit startled when Yohan suddenly threw his head back as his hands slithered under Yohan's shirt, his fingertips digging into the softness of Yohan's lower tummy.

He gasped, "did I find you most- oh you can't see me," Soohwa giggled as he tried to fight Yohan's hands trying to catch his wrists.

It really seemed like he had hit jackpot, but just to make sure, he tickled Yohan's lower belly faster, fingers clawing and vibrating against the warm skin.

Yohan howled, his back arching off the bed and his hips twisting in a weak attempt to throw Soohwa off, but Soohwa tightened his thighs around Yohan's body to prevent himself from falling off the bed.

"Oh Yohan, I wish I could record you right now, where was my phone again? I think-"

A sudden tap on his arm made him look up at Yohan.

"Please, not there. Stop!" Yohan weakly signed, his body shaking with silent laughter. Tears of laughter pooling at the corners of his eyes.

Soohwa felt his heart fluttering. How could Yohan, all red in the face and in hysterics, look so handsome? How was his big, open smile so pretty?

"Fine, fine. You win," Soohwa mumbled and he finally stopped, letting his lover sink back into the bed as he laughed and giggled breathlessly.

"You're the wohohorst," Yohan giggled out as he finally opened his teary eyes to look at Soohwa. "You're not allowed to that ever again."

Soohwa laughed, leaning down to kiss Yohan's lips.

"I can't make any promises now that I know your secret, Yohan. So be ready for a sudden attack... like now!"

"N-Nohoho! No mohohore!"

This was not exactly how Soohwa planned his very spontaneous prank, but finding out that Yohan was ticklish was, definitely, a result that he would not change for anything.

BONUS SCENE

"Uh... Yohan?"

"W-What now?" Yohan asked breathlessly after surviving another lethal attack to his, (according to Soohwa's words), best tickle spot.

"Um... y'know, your laugh was really nice so now I'm a little..."

"Oh."

It seemed that Yohan's voice would always have that kind of effect on Soohwa, no matter what.

I've read 2 bls in my life and all of the three confirmed couples slept together before they even kissed.... Idk am I missing something? Aren't they skipping a few steps?

PERSONALITY

always a curious thing, soohwa is, always observing and drawing comments on his head about what unfolds around him, always an inviting smile on his lips and saccharine words on his tongue. the world resolves around him, and how could it not when he feels like a god? he takes and takes and takes while giving almost nothing in return, and why would he when it's the universe that owes him? a young little thing that even though he thinks that he has seen and been around enough to know where he's standing, there's still certain audacity that comes with inexperience, a condescendence that comes with youth— aspects that are intrinsic parts of how he views the environment around him and interacts with it.

a child of chaos; that was what he was born to be and therefore that's what he'll always be. he's detached from the things and people around him because they're all ephemeral existences that he has seen die and reborn way too many times to count. gumiho are creatures fated to be alone with the only purpose of feeding their own existence; that's what he was born to be and therefore what he'll always be, unapologetic about his being and indulging about his needs no matter how brief or long lasting they are.

HISTORY

always a curious thing, soohwa is, from the moment that he was born into existence.

so he was always watching, always peaking through bushes and any other hiding places that he could find, being raised on his own, feeding off leftover emotions that human left around him, from heartbreak to eternal love, from fondness born out of loyalty to wrath born out of betrayal, from affection for something as harmless looking as a white kit to anger for the ingratitude expressed by the animal that abandoned them so easily even after they so lovingly fed and kept him warm through the harsh winter.

always foolish things, humans are, soohwa learns through the years.

foolish and not very resilient, prone to finding their ends way too soon either through illness or age, that when they weren't killed by their own kind over mostly petty things, but soohwa always found antagonisms amusing and conflicts entertaining to the point that he doesn't even mind that much when humans are stupid enough to let themselves get hurt, to have others wrong them, but still insist on the same mistake no matter how much their trust or heart — or both — are broken.

he also finds that perhaps this is the universe proven to him that soohwa's existence is one to be catered to instead of catering to others. humans are so easily fooled because by simple things, go through the same cycle of happiness and misery again and again until they rot under the earth because how else soohwa is supposed to feed? where else is he supposed to find amusement in his endless existence?

always a playful thing, soohwa was, but not stupid, not in the way that humans usually are.

because not everything that looks human is human. soohwa is the living proof of that and if not him, he has met creatures here and there that hid something else under the a cover of meat and flesh. because humans are too trusting with things that they find pleasant to look at so soohwa spends his time, from the moment that he can shapeshift, taking advantage of how easy humans fall in love and how fast they fall out of it as well, how they promise him eternal love and then wish him hell the moment that he gets what they want from them. soohwa takes advantage that humans are also prone to chaos as long as you push the right button.

always full of whims, soohwa is, and always too easy to get bored of things.

that's why he doesn't really stay in the same place for too long, never really felt like he found nor needed a place to call home, nor does he stays in the same job for too long and hobbies are picked up as easily as they're dropped again. routine and stability bores him to the point that he swears he can feel his soul dies slowly and painfully, monotony being his sworn enemy, so soohwa chances excitement or whatever else he is feeling in the moment wherever it might be.

always a chaos loving thing, soohwa is, and that's why he's attracted to it.

that's also why he ends up interested in jeju, hearing from one of the creatures he ended up befriending, but what catches his attention isn't the promise of somewhat of a safer haven for the supernatural due to the amount of nonhumans in the city, but the battle for dominance. after all soohwa has always found antagonisms amusing and conflicts entertaining, . he isn't even interested in who is going to stand on top in the end, doesn't wish it to be his own species either, soohwa wants to see the world burn simply for the sake of it and he might see just that while living in jeju.
