Sou lets talk about my current gear setup..

Recently got new bags from 21 bros, did some 1000+ km of offroad on TET and quite happy with them so far. There are 2 main reasons why i got them.. One is that i want waterproof bags what can be easely removed from bike and you dont lose them then offroading.. I really dont like mess with all kind of underseat straps or plastic bags inside non waterproof bags or raincowers. I really liked t-tech endurance klick bags, few friends are using them but becouse of shape of sideracks (cut corner with monokey system) i couldnt use them on my bike. Thats the second reason i choose this sidebags. They fit on my bike wierd siderack very well and are easy to remove but holds with 5 straps very well. Build quality is very good too.

So what i got with me on long 4d-1m roadtrips?

On top of bike i have 4bikers “mini” easy pop-up tent. YES its BIG, YES its HEAVY. I can live with that becouse i save weight from other stuff. But i just do not want to mess with tent poles anymore. Think about it, you doing it twise a day... putting tent up and taking it down and packing it, sometimes then its raining.. So the beauty here is that you just take it out of bag, 10sec later you already have place to put all your stuff in, you can change clothes and start preparing meal or do some other stuff.. while others are still putting their tents up.. :) ofcourse you are on vacation and have a lot of time you say, but that if it is raining? or lot of moscitos size of small dog? I had used tents for 15+ years and this is solution i like now the most. of course its heavy for bicycle trip but on motorcycle riding alone? not really.. empty aluminium sidebags weight a lot more :) Some say they are easy to broke.., every tent can be broken, thats why you need to have some teip-patch with you.. Once a time ago i let my friend use my tent, got it back and went to some 4-5 day motorcycle event. At spot i discovered that tent had no poles thatsoever in bag, only tent itself.. So i find some dry tree, cut it a bit, put it in middle of my tent and spent all that event days around that tree inside tent :D i think i can fix my tent if needed.

Ok next to tent is sw-motech 18l drybag.. its aloust empty most of the time.. in small pocket i store some charging cables not currently in use, flashlight and bag carrying shoulder strap. inside bag i sometimes keep my flipflops and drinking water. Mostly i use this bag for shopping for food before camping spot.

In one of the sidebags i keep all my camping gear:

Sleeping bag, sleeping mat, food making stuff, there is also a room for hammock and tarp if i decide to take them instead or with tent.

In another bag i keep my clothes and bit more:

Clothes to change after riding, hoodie, boots, jeans etc. Clothes to change every day, socks, tshirts etc. i take them with reserve for 3-4 days, if trip is longer you can always find way to wash them so no need to carry on month of clothes with you.. in this bag is also first aid/med stuff, battery pack and some more charging cables for phone, cardo etc.

It does not really matter which bag is left or right, but its good idea to make them weight about the same. if one of bags is heavier than another you can put spare bottle of water here, bcouse you always need water with you.

If i got time i will make pic next time before packing stuff in bags..
