OKAY SO I had made a poll on twitter deciding which sentai i should watch after i had finished shinkenger and that ended up being king-ohger.
That said im ALSO watching boonboomger so i wanted to go through all 3 car sentai after my king-ohger binge (going by release so Turboranger, Carranger and Go-onger)
BUT after that, im kind of at a loss for what to watch, so I'm just gonna do another poll to be a lil silly about it.

For those who don’t know, I have a weekly poem book for Goranger called Himitsu Sentai Poemranger because it was a funny title, and I use it to write little 5-line poems about every episode that I watch. It legitimately helps motivate me to watch Goranger consistently
So I’m thinking of doing a similar book for Kamen Rider (1971) when I get to watching it. That series has 98 episodes, and including 2 movies means there would be 100 chapters. This would take a really long time.
I want to make this book. The question is: do I start now, or later?
(I started the Goranger book on its anniversary, so I kinda want to wait for that, but like, it’s in April…)

-- 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒌𝒊 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒊 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒏 --
the long delayed changeman review. I apologize for the wait.
Dengeki Sentai Changeman is certainly an interesting animal, with the second longest episode count of the Sentai franchise and one of the more popular entries written by Hirohisa Soda. Succeeding Bioman, the show had a lot to live up to compared to the quality of the former.
Sadly, I don’t think Changeman overall is better than the previous entry and I think the main issue is that the cast isn’t wholly memorable and the show went on for maybe 10 episodes too many. Of course, this doesn’t mean I am saying it is a bad show but it is more of a good show that sadly had to follow up a really great one.
Changeman comes with the strengths of a Soda Sentai, really fun premises and characters but in many ways lacks the strengths of the previous Sentai’s characters. You like them, you can relate to them, but you won’t really come out remembering their actual names and only really remember their gimmick and ranger name. The villains also don’t really strike me as memorable either, not really noteworthy but still have some interesting creature designs.
While this lacks in the character strengths, the drama doesn’t ever fall short and the action is almost superior to Bioman’s in many senses of the word. Dynamic, fun, exactly what you want. Drama is human, you don’t feel like you are watching a show that keeps the drama exclusive to the humans and extends it to the creatures that become allies to the Changemen.
I don’t wholly love it, but I like the show in the most broad sense of the word. Maybe if it was 10 episodes left, then I’d like the show wayy more.
