#bh6 globby #globby #globby bh6 #big hero 6: the series #normally im not too crazy for chibi designs #bc of the babyish proportions and the way they can sometimes sand down the interesting elements of an original design #but the Big Chibi 6 designs are growing on me... i think they're cute in a way that isn't Too Much #if that makes sense #i deeply appreciate how yucky disgusting he acts in the chibi shorts. it's everything i wanted and more #it's so fun seeing them and knowing they were made in s1 #it was also interesting trying to find a middle ground between his design in the shorts and his regular design #namely trying to figure out how to get his lack-of-a-neck without making it seem awkward #since in the shorts there is a clear seam between his big bobble head and the rest of his body. but in the series it is seamless #it reminds me of how i first drew him months ago before extensive screenshot studies and practice #was fun nailing down the proportions here #anyways. that's quite a lot of yap from me o7 #my art

i dont recommend growing your natural nails to an inch or more long because one day you may be pulling up your pants and your thumbnail gets caught by your waistband and flips backwards and you say YEOWCH!!!!!!!!!

#contrary to popiular belief it was acctually pretty easy to take out and put in my contacts #because they grew at a natural rate instead of suddenly appearing on my fingers one day #and its like . a part of me. its like if my fingers just got longer and hard. #also my nails tend to grow in more of a half cylindrical shape than flat so im assuming they were more structurally stable #than the aaverage persons natural nails may be at that length. #one bad thing about my nail shape i was really disappointed in was that shape simply doesnt lend itself to being sharpened into a point. #and now my nails are always short. Fin. (french not fish) #v #i know i said end. but i must also warn of the possibility of the edge of your nail simply splitting no matter what you do once you reach #certain length. its important to me That You Are Safe [guards you]

if my nails grow out for even just like. 2-3 weeks. they always end up weirdly strong and sharp like yesterday i was changing out a trash bag and literally kept puncturing it by accident

#not sharp like pointy but the edges and corners seem to naturally hone to a sharpened edge its weird #there are still visible clawmarks into the wood of my windowsill from when i was trying to close my stubborn window and my hand slipped #and none of my nails even chipped from that #my work is physically demanding so i keep em short for practicalitys sake #but there was a time when i maintained and painted them and let em grow out longer. ppl would legit assume they were acrylics #also they grow out super fast and are a pain in the ass to file because theyre strong. its weird. why am i like this

#i complain way too much here so sharing my triumphs <3 #(taking a page from songbird because i want to be more like her) #getting home from work today i was able to get ALL of my chores done!!! #i loooved having my friend stay with me for a week i truly needed the break and she���s such a blessing <3 #(we bought ‘soul sisters’ matching bracelets - hers gold and mine silver - and the statement couldn’t be more true 🥹) #but in that i let my room get VERY messy #and i was busing working yesterday and didn’t have time (literally cried on my way home because of how tired i was) #so i made it a goal to do everything tonight so tomorrow (my one day off) i may relax! #so i was able to clean my room; do two loads of laundry; wash my bedding; vacuum; water my plants; and tidy my bathroom!! #it may not sound like much but it was a MESS #also i did my nails cause they broke :( #so now they are VERY short (had to cut them) and i painted a few coats of clear nail polish so hopefully they won’t break #i have to get gas and get my oil changed and exchange some icecream tomorrow morning #but then i’m just gonna relax!!! #would like to change my themes but we shall see. i want to watch tv and read mostly #also i’m gonna stop in and book a hair appointment for next week!! #that’s right i’m gonna chop off my hair #it’s been years and i didn’t get it trimmed as it was growing out so i have lots of split and dead ends #and if i have to get it cut i may as well just go all the way yknow #i love having short hair and i’m lowkey excited #and i work 6 days after that but thankfully i booked myself for opening shifts which leaves my evenings free to myself which i really love
