Coin locker?

ahaha, yess :)

so background if you don't know the fandom it's for, in detective conan one of the most intense chapters (imo) involves conan (aka shinichi) ending up forced to hide in a coin locker when he's cornered by the #1 baddie- the guy who tried to kill him at the very beginning of the series but failed only thanks to a one-in-a-million chance that shinichi ended up shrinking instead, unbeknownst to anyone.

he somehow survives this encounter, but it is definitely one of the closest brushes with death he's had, at least consciously, and ain't no way he got out of that mentally unscathed. no way.

well, basically, in a post-canon world, he's happy and confident and living his best life. he has completely moved on from the dangers of his past- someone like him doesn't get all stressed out about things that don't matter anymore, of course! he's doing fine.

until someone shoves him in a locker and traps him inside as a prank.
