I feel bad every time I reject Karlach:

She's a sweetheart but she always goes straight for the characters I have that're gay and already involved with Astarion.

Sharos loves Karlach, but he loves her like a sister. He feels protective of her and would never want to hurt her.

I have this headcanon that shortly after Astarion killed Cazador and was convinced not to ascend, Sharos noticed that Astarion wasn't doing very well and gently pulled the shell-shocked man to one side. He told the rest to camp or find a room of their own, and then he took Astarion to a really, really nice room at a tavern.

They ended up renting a room that had all the amenities, including a proper bath and hot running water.. Sharos quickly washed off from the fight they'd just been in before drawing a nice hot bath with like a mountain of bubbles for Astarion. He gently coaxed Astarion into it so he could finally be warm and clean. Then he helped wash all the blood and sweat and grime off. He even washed his hair for him.

He also stopped Astarion from trying to scrub himself raw.

Then when Astarion was out of the tub and wearing a nice soft fluffy robe, Sharos again coaxed him to move, got him to lie down on the bed, moved on top of him and started to massage all the tension out of his back, neck and shoulders. Made Astarion gasp and shudder and moan from the sheer relief of it melting away. Then Sharos tucked Astarion in under the covers and encouraged him to take a nap or at least relax with a book while he went and ate something, and promised that he would be back as soon as he'd finished.

He came back a couple hours later, allowed Astarion to feed off of him, and after the wound was cleaned, they snuggled up together.

They spent the entire night cuddling and talking quietly, Sharos telling Astarion how very proud he was of him and that he did the right thing, and Astarion feeling vulnerable enough to have a good cry in Sharos' arms. Eventually, after Astarion had settled down and Sharos had kissed away his tears, they managed to drift off to sleep.

Sharos woke the next morning to some soft kisses and a shy but sweet little smile from Astarion.

I just melt every time I see this because Astarion is so cute with his face all tucked into Sharos. Super adorable. I headcanon that when he's that close to Sharos he can hear his heartbeat, and it calms him.

Sharos figures that out from the way Astarion melts against him, and invites him for more hugs/cuddles without him even having to ask.

I just realized that Astarion is the only one who has a place to sit at his tent. No one else does. It's like some small lonely part of him really, really wants us to hang out with him but he doesn't know how to ask.

It's a good thing that Sharos ignored everyone's warnings about vampires and their spawn, and got close to him anyways. Right?

Between ogling Halsin in the sexy armor I put on him and ogling and spamming kisses at Astarion, Sharos is getting nothing done in Act 2 and will just continue to get nothing done indefinitely. XD

Dream Visitor gets fed up and leaves and it's Game Over because Sharos is too busy being a hopeless romantic.
