A NOTE FROM ADMIN VI: Introducing Scarlet Gardens, everyone! I can't believe it's been a year since the idea of angsty sci-fi Dutch gravediggers first rolled into my head. While this is an original—and, frankly, weird as hell—roleplay, I've taken a great deal of aesthetic inspiration from Frankenstein, NBC's Hannibal, BBC's In the Flesh, and a variety of undead folklore from all around the world.

Currently, almost all pages are complete and available for perusing via the NAVIGATION. There is, admittedly, a lot of information to sift through—but fret not! Almost everything will be covered organically through the twenty bios I plan to release in the coming weeks, so that the scarlet-verse is easy to follow and a pleasure to experience. Pages like the ENCYCLOPEDIA are meant to serve as supplementary resources, not mandatory readings! That being said, I do believe taking advantage of the information on these pages will enrich your bio-reading process. Of course, I am also always happy to answer your QUESTIONS.

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Emma and Ripley, who have done more for SG than they ever needed to. All thanks to their insight, patience, and good humor, I've had a wonderful experience building this new rp thus far. Anyway, the first bio will be released tomorrow. Until then, happy exploring!

Would you survive a zombie apocalypse? absolutely noT... i’m just going to ride on the coattails of everyone else i know and as soon as they ask me to do something, i’ll offer them a joke. then they’ll throw me to be eaten by the zombies as punishment

If given the chance, would you want to live forever? no, absolutely not!! i’m not patient enough to live forever, and also would truly start to spiral because i’d feel stuck/trapped in living

Where would you go to start a new life? Pick a country / city. if i could, i would love to live a nomadic life. i suppose europe may be the easiest for that, so i can just hop on a train and be in a new country. if i had to choose somewhere to settle, i’d choose singapore >:) but only if i’m rich...

What are you most looking forward to at Scarlet Gardens? i am so excited to explore the themes of the plot, with control and death and science becoming God?? they’re so imbedded within the lore and i’m eager to get my hands on it with character development! also, i think the plot drops and events would be out of this world

"In you go, Rox," Silvy said softly as she opened the door to David's place. Roxy, his loveable dog, wagged her tail happily as she padded through the door. Silvy hung up Roxy's leash, closed the front door behind her and followed Roxy further into the house. Roxy knew exactly where she was going and let herself into David's bedroom. Silvy wasn't quite so bold. Instead she knocked on the door.

David was supposed to be on bed-rest following getting shot while out in the wilderness. To encourage David to follow doctor's orders, Silvy took it upon herself to take Roxy out for walks twice a day. While she was here, she might as well check in on the patient and make sure he was behaving himself.

"You decent?" She asked while waiting for David to call her inside the room.

yes! when I was in middle & high school I often thought about the end of the world and how I would prepare for it and survive it, from nuclear apocalypse to alien to zombie lol. zombie would be my apocalypse of choice though.

if given the chance would you want to live forever?

without a doubt and without any hesitation- one of my greatest fears is death, and my greatest desire is immortality. sounds like a dream. I want to see everything, experience everything, learn everything in life... there’s not enough time for all that unless I was immortal. Plus I want to witness humanity; the way it changes as time moves, the different historical events etc.. living forever sounds amazing to me.

where would you go to start a new life?

New York City or Tokyo; any big lively city tbh
