Concept art of SF6 World Tour characters from the “Street Fighter 6 World Guide” book. I got myself the kindle version because I heard from atgrbread that there’s one concept art pic of F.A.N.G. I wanted to see it so bad that I end up buying this…just for one little picture lol.

But look what I got here!

Characters include Bosch, Li-Fen, Alice, Carlos Miyamoto, Thrasher Damnd, Rudra, Kalima, Yua, Uou & Saouo, Punch, Rewancha, Retsu, Bao Bao Bro, R.O.B.B.I.E., Blanka-Chan, Mel Masters, Singing Wolf, Azam, Eternity,

And my favorite, F.A.N.G 💜💜

I post these here because hardly anyone goes to Tumblr lol.

Anyway, the book essentially contains information and images about the characters that are already present in the game. There’s a lot of behind the scenes content that was written. It’s all in Japanese, so I used Google translate to read it lol. The information was quite intriguing on how the characters were conceptualized, how the game was designed, and why some of the returning characters were chosen to be part of SF6.

Some interesting things:

- A.K.I. was going to be a charge character, but the nature of her moves proved to be too difficult, so they changed her to motion.

- One of the inspirations of creating JP was of villain Magnussen from the Sherlock series.

- Ed was a huge drive for creating Street Fighter 6. It is said that his character in SFV had a handsome aesthetic and is easy to use. He was popular amongst new players. And that was how World Tour was created—it was meant to draw in new audiences and players and to ease them into fighting games. Also SFV Ed was the predecessor for Modern controls, despite him becoming a totally different character playstyle-wise in SF6. And his SFV theme song was a big inspiration for the music in SF6 as the theme of this game is hip hop.

I can’t believe I bought this just for a F.A.N.G pic, but I end up enjoying what i read 💜💜

My HC is that Yua was actually the one to dye both her and his brother's hair with DIY hairdye from spices when they both joined the Nayshalli Resistance, and Bosch let her do it bc I believe he's a good big brother and it made her happy so he let her do whatever to his hair. (PS.: Probs it had to be retouched by auntie Kalima later on bc it turned blotchy-)

Bosch x Reader

Dating HCs Reader is neutral. I hope you enjoy!

Bosch is a little bit of a tsun but he loves you! He just wants to be able to protect you and I think it'd take a little bit before he fully confesses that he really wants to keep you safe.

You both would have sparring sessions together. He would feel bad on going too hard on you until you probably kick his butt and then he stops holding back. You bond very deeply with him and this helps him prove to himself that you are strong enough to protect yourself. Sometimes he still gets a bit worried about you though, he needs to keep getting stronger so you can too. As much as you tell him not to worry, always be with him and shower him in hugs and kisses like he deserves.

Dates would be very laid back. Bosch doesn't seem like the type to be overly romantic so you would probably spend your dates at arcades, going to parks, having picnics or just staying inside and watching a movie as you lay on his chest.

Bosch would be ok with PDA but only a little bit. Holding hands? Yes! It means you're always going to be right next to him no matter what and he can pull you away from anything dangerous. Kissing in public is a no no but if you give him a light peck on his cheek, he will probably get extremely flustered and tell you to stop. "Stop being so childish." "Oh come on, you know you love it!" you would say smiling at him, oh how you love teasing him. Hugs in public are somewhat ok, ask him first or if there's little to no people around, he'll let loose a little bit and give you a small hug.

If the situation came, Bosch's hand will sit on your waist and glare at anyone that even looks at you the wrong way. Starring daggers into the persons back. You are his! Property of Bosch.

I feel Bosch would be very inexperienced when it comes to dating, he doesn't seem like the person who would be so it takes a bit for him to learn what to do and what not to do. Please be patient with the boy, he is trying his best and figuring out his feelings.

When it's late and you're both very sleepy. Laying next to each other on the bed or couch, you're hugging his face into your chest as you lazily press gentle kisses onto his head. He doesn't say anything but you know he absolutely loves it. He seems like someone who didn't get much love or attention growing up and now that he has that love and attention? He is soaking it up.

The first time he told you that he loved you, it was about 3 months into you dating and you both had shared an intimate moment with each other after having a grueling fight with an enemy. Almost having lost each other, something clicked in his brain that he needed to say those 3 words because what if something happened again and he never got to tell you? He wouldn't be able to live with himself.

He treasures you deeply and wants you to know that and you definitely do. He's a good boyfriend to you and treats you well.

so because bosch DIDN'T die at the end of the world tour campaign, i took it upon myself to design some fun looks for him, for when hes added as a DLC character and such :)

due to the explosion, he's covered in burn scars and prefers to keep most of his skin covered - the damage to his right arm was particularly bad, and needs to be kept tightly bound to avoid Psycho Power from seeping out and giving him away. being recovered by Neo Shadaloo, its not certain if his actions are his own, or if somebody else is pulling the strings...

I remember there was a character lore “leak” that came out in June 2022 on Reddit and then it got deleted like a week later. There was a detailed description about A.K.I. and other characters. A few people commented on the post, dismissing it as fake and sounded like fanfiction. Nonetheless, I took a screenshot of the post to see if there were any truths to it when the time comes, though I didn’t screenshot all of it. A year later after the character reveals, reading the SF6 UDON comics, and playing Arcade Mode and World Tour…I’ll say that the “leak” had a lot of inaccuracies, but it also had its validity.

Here it is. If you don’t want any spoilers, don’t read:

Ken: He’s not divorced nor is he following the path of a warrior. But even when completing his arcade mode and World Tour, he’s still in hiding and didn’t come back to his family. In a way, he still didn’t get his happy ending…yet.

Zangief: Extremely inaccurate . But the Nayshall story has politics in it, with citizens having different opinions on the modernization of their country due to wealthy foreign influences. Also, Blanka is an environmentalist since he cares about the preservation of rainforests.

Cammy: She is indeed the new leader of Delta Red and she’s very close to Juni in the arcade mode, though more sisterly love than romantic. Ngl, the illustrations can be interpreted as a ship lol. Juri is not the main rival, and she gets shady jobs by various organizations…including “Neo” Shadaloo (hmm, I thought they were the good guys lol). She hates Shadaloo, but money is money lol

JP: In World Tour mode, he is the final boss, but I’m not sure if there will be any more boss battles once the dlc is released. As for the Ed connection, Neo Shadaloo was involved in modifying Bosch’s body. It’s said that the tournament organizers did this to make the event more exciting. JP was the tournament organizer at Nayshall. I wonder if JP hijacked Neo Shadaloo between the events of SFV and SF6. Also, JP is very fond of antique playing cards. Hmm, might be a Rose reference there.

There was more that I didn’t bother to screenshot because it had no F.A.N.G nor A.K.I., but I do remember what it was: An “unknown overpowered female character is the final boss.”

Over Powered Female Boss: At first I thought it might’ve been Kalima before the game came out, but that’s not the case. The “leak” got the gender wrong. The supposed overpowered female boss is actually Bosch when he’s boosted with Psycho Power. Ngl, Bosch definitely has an effeminate face compared to the other male SF6 characters except for Jamie. I’m not surprised that he was mistaken as a woman lol. The leak came out on Reddit somewhere on June 2022, and then got deleted a few days later. Bosch’s trailer reveal was on September 2022, a few months after the Reddit leak. Bosch was the 2nd to final boss of World Tour.

That being said, whatever it’s said about A.K.I. might have some truths to it…stay tuned though!
