These doodles/concepts are kinda old, but i just never really showed or talked about them because i thought they seemed a bit too silly..

I was so obsessed with Sonic Frontiers to the point where i made a 'What-if' scenario where that whole thing with Hyper Sonic would actually come true and would be the form to defeat The End (This was back when the updates hadn't released yet, i think)

And this? Well uh...

I guess this was the design i gave Sonic for an "After Frontiers" AU...? I honestly can't remember.

But stay tuned! Once i have my tablet charged up and ready, I'll update this blog to post some more wacky Sonic AU concepts that I also scrapped away👍

Out of all the unseen past renditions of Noveltale, was there a particular one you would consider the edgiest one?

I wouldn’t really call it edgy or anything, moreover it’s just a sad alternative timeline for Noveltale. Because that “unseen past rendition” of Noveltale is the previous one.

Had I not removed my OCs, hence the very start of the overall story, one choice is and will always be what it takes to create a very angsty story for Noveltale.

That choice is for these two to fall and die. To just exist for the sake plot.

An ending similar to the beginnings of the original Undertale AU. Only this time,

Gaster was accidentally thrown to the mouth of his own creation during the final battle, finally confirming in the end/in the void that the “anomaly” watching and disrupting the course of their universe is real.

Chara, wanting to free the underground, gives up their soul to Asriel only leading to an outcome in which they both die to the hands of the humans in a nearby village.

In the original Undertale game/universe, Aphys finds and grabs the golden flower that had Asriel’s dust spread on it. But with all the monsters dead from the fights Gaster had started just to take Chara’s soul,

There will never be a Flowey. Just remnants of Asriel’s dust, spread by the bed of flowers of the now empty and silent underground where monsters used to be trapped in. And by the time Frisk arrives back in the underground,

They’ll live the last remaining moments of their life. Trapped, alone with only themselves to keep them company until they die.

Here's some art of the scrapped Medallion holders...

There's Nellie- She hasn't been completely scrapped, she might be actually used for a spin-off idea... Maybe...

(Also a good detail to note: Some characters Don't have medallions exactly, but they have accessories that basically are the medallion.)

Juliana was going to be the Medallion holder, but her as the kind Grandmother figure who left a mark on Tina whilst she was alive felt like a better idea to me.

There's Zoe- She has the striped shirt too! But I just didn't like the design all that much... I liked it, but not for Composer Madness.

There's Vicki- I wrote her and her personality and realized... She was a jerk... I want my Protags to be SOMEWHAT likable. Also I didn't like her design that much either....

Then there's Freddie- He was going to be the main character, but I scrapped that idea and decided to make him an example of a former medallion holder (more on that another time though 🙂.)

They were all nice.... But when. I made Tina... I REALLY liked her design... And I wanted to keep her as the main character so that's who we have now!

Concepts I scrapped or nearly scrapped

Ozymandias and Leto were originally going to be friends! Leto would offer 'protection' from him to universes, and then Ozzy would, yknow, come and eat the universes. When Ozzy was originally captured, Leto would actually spend time trying to free him. I scrapped this because when I started expanding them and their stories, it didn't really fit

Buffer was actually intended to be a villain at one point! Yes, that Buffer. The Admin. I don't remember exactly what her reason was, but I think it had something to do with Byte's betrayal? I think the idea was she would become incredibly paranoid and just start weeding out innocent Admins in her own way.

Plurality was originally going to be very aware of the fact that she was made from Singularity, and she wouldn't be as bold! Her main conflict would actually stem from her intentionally avoiding the main Crew.

I nearly didn't make Cookie at all! I was really on the fence about her, but honestly, I'm glad I did. She's insane <3

Tartarus and Olympus were originally going to be called Spirit and Radiant respectively! But I scrapped that because it sounded too cheesy, and I'm glad I went for the names they have now.

Database was initially going to be very dull to the life of the world, maybe even indifferent to the point of not even seeing a point of interfering.

Lady Rose was originally just going to fall to her death. That's it.

Root was originally going to be mute and have memory issues instead of being blind. I thought it made sense at the time, but when I thought out it, I decided to go for her being blind.

I nearly changed CPU from the initial way an anon spoke of him way back when, but decided to keep him the same, and give him development!

I nearly scrapped In Regards to Eternity as a whole because I was so unhappy with it, and I really still am. But I kept it because of the development it gave and now I just.. don't really think of it too much.

The Abyss was actually going to be a force of good, just really upset that it was scorned and all that, similar to ClearAll. But I went, "naaaaah, big scary force of doom that no one can kill go BRRRRRRRR"

I very seriously considered Abyssal chopping off her wings during Unveiled Secrets before deciding that was way too far.

I was originally going to have Irene be much more reluctant to be an Avatar, but decided that went against her whole personality and what I'd already established.

did you ever do or think about a concept design for one of the Omari characters before changing designs

or have they always been like this?

I do have scrapped concept designs! Most of them are of the Real World variants than it is of Headspace. Hairstyles and outfits were difficult to figure out when carrying it out, and even yet there are still some designs I am unsure about.

The only one whom I think have either scrapped or "beta" designs in the Headspace variants are both Hero and Sunny. Hero's beta look can be found in an old artwork I made a long time ago when I first decided to get into the OMARI AU specifically. Sunny's sketches has only been shared with few people, but I don't think I'll ever be showing them here.

so a little fun fact about ferrymen is that the whole "magic" system with specs used to work a little different. at some point the idea of "fusing" specs was thrown around, just combining powers with someone else to create a new power. and since spec's powers are based on words, the fusions would make phrases! like wilbur and nathan would be "Spirit Guide", pretty straight forward given their specs tbh.

but like the only one that got REALLY fleshed out beyond that was nathan and mai's fusion! i never got a name for it down but Spirit/Vibes basically created a power that let you see someone's true spirit, allowing mai to see ghosts clearly and nathan to read any spirit's emotional state with 100% clarity.

the concept got axed pretty quickly so there's only one piece of concept art for this, but i think it's pretty fun!

the idea was that this abstract sketchy style was how nathan and mai were seeing through this new power, basically revealing someone's "true" spirit represented by how they saw/felt about themselves.

this later translated into how mai's spec is illustrated today, with changes of course but i just think thats a fun lil part of ferrymens production

her name never was clearly established. it was always something about Siv, Sil, Silvia or Sybil. shes 17, and from the same reality as kiri. she was in the main story for a really long time, cause she was my technically third oc and she was there instead of kiri. that i added kiri, so they would be like friends and than i couldn't handle writing the story with two people. also she ended up like this third wheel bcs of that and i wouldnt like that

so as i said, she was there instead of and then with kiri. her origin is from other fictional character that im not gonna be naming bcs the og storyline was a fanfic i wrote in my head when i was 11 and im not gonna be embarrassing myself like that. so, bcs i would have too much work with rewriting the story(like if i already didnt rewrite it completely)her powers are same as the character she was based at. mind control. tbh it was mind control trough touch but im not gonna be giving more details cause ppl with general knowledge of some tv shows would know who was she based on and on who was the fanfic about(i can tell you, it was amy, my oc set in some world). i know that almost noone is reading this but the humiliating in front of nobody is painful.

shes bfs of kiri, where she and kiri was picked w mis b to help with destroying the fucking world. but they escaped and now are in some reality that is somehow protected from tracking people down.(this was a thing, you could track people by magic. so like 1 person is less trackable than two and so on)than they meet amy, blah blah, she helps them and starts following them like a fucking dog, she gets closer w kiri, blah blah, and then there was the problem. me not being able to handle write trios. amy had personality. kiri had personality. but siv was totally forgotten. she played a big role with her talking too loudly in the cafe where amy worked and than amy hearing about all of this, but, that was it. i could take that to my advantage and like get her angry at amy for wrecking their friendship but then there was gia who was a total nightmare and miss b on their necks and tree enemies are too much. or so i thought.

she was always the one with the weird haircut and alt appearance. the first one there id her if i got to the goth scenario and the second one.. idk. but i left out a lot from her outfit in the second. also i know goth is music based style and yes i wanted her to be goth idk why. but if she stayed in the story she would prolly ended up with something similar to the second one bcs its a comic and ain't drawing that much details.

fun facts that arent fun)

siv tried to kill amy several times. she was this gia of the past.

they werent a trio. for some period of thime there was this guy, liam, who i eventually roasted in some burning building.(literally and methaphorically)

amy was literally schizophrenic. i know its something to say that, but what i was making her go trough, (ad i remind you i was eleven😭)that were almost all symptons of schizophrenia.

at the end amy got TRAPPED IN SOME WEIRD PLACE FOR 1000 YEARS(that was technically gia bcs they are the same person but some things i was really mixing up

gia was possesed an was murdering everyone(pls someone take away the pen from 11yo me😭)

gia and amy had two big birthmarks on their faces and heterochromia in their og design

amy/gia were actually the only ones im the multiverse who didnt have a variaton of them. i cant call it like ONLY amy or only gia bcs amy was originally gia but thets my nameology

Scrapped Writing

this was from yesterdays post lmfao i scrapped it bc it was getting a little real for my liking

Warnings: Death, mentions of blood, kinda sad?? idkk

“Dad?” You ask, gripping his shirt tighter. He doesn’t say anything, still running as he grips you closer to him. You look and see others running as well. You spotted some of your neighbors and your friends that you play with. It wasn’t until you heard something going off and saw one of the adults fall that you understood.

You guys were being hunted.

However, this wasn’t wasn’t how it was normally done. They never involved the parents or children in the hunt. You saw some of the adults with no children hesitate before the one that fell yelled at the others to keep going. You look behind your father's shoulder and see hellfire everywhere. All the homes and shops that your community had built, were getting ruined all within the span of a single night. You see figures emerge from the hellfire, some were imps, and others were sharks. There were a few others that you couldn’t identify, however they were all holding similar-looking weapons. One of the imps picked up and aimed, before it caused another loud noise, causing both you and your dad to tumble. Your dad fell with a grunt as you yelled, hugging him tighter. Falling out of his arms, you roll a bit before stopping fully on the ground. You wince, the feeling of a sharp rock jab into your body. You look at your dad, seeing him holding his stomach and attempting to get up. He fails, falling back onto his chest. Instead of risking getting up again, he lifts himself onto his elbow, looking at you.

“Babycakes, I need you to--” He gets cut off as the same sound goes off again, this time much closer. You can’t even register what happened, all you saw was your dad’s head fall and an imp walk up to you. You turn to the imp, frozen in fear as you see that he is holding a gun. You look back at your dad and see his blood everywhere.

yeah uhhh ider what i was listening to to cause this but I stopped it and made it rlly fluffy instead

"what don't you get, sweetheart?" he's stern, but you know it's coming from a place of love. he just wants you to let go, to trust him. "come put that pretty pussy on my face. i don't care about suffocating, or whatever lame ass excuse you're about to give me next. you're beautiful, you taste like fucking heaven, and honestly, princess, that pussy's mine whenever i want it. now get over here." once you oblige, hovering over him carefully and gripping at his headboard with a strong hand, he pulls you down, encouraging you to ride his face by pushing at your hips. quickly erased are all the negative thoughts that had you shying away from the experience. the ecstasy is much too strong, and you're left wondering how you ever talked yourself into denying yourself, and rafe.
