I am still in complete disbelief that I’ve hit 2k followers. In honor of doing so—and for you all being absolute sweethearts—I’ve decided what better way to celebrate than with a sleepover!

This sleepover will run from 12am CST on Monday February 14th to Sunday February 20th. Feel free to send things in early, just know I won’t officially be answering until Monday 🥳🥰.

How about a drabble about Bucky being soft and sweet while you’re on your period?

Awh, Ellie!!! nsnfkcisushfjf this has me feeling all types of soft because it’s is relatable as FUCK for me right now. I hope you enjoy it 🤍

A groan left your lips once more as you turned over onto your side—pulling the heating pad into your abdomen and curling around it in the fetal position.

Mother Nature had decided to visit you with a vengeance this week—leaving nothing but chocolate bar wrappers, tears, and hellacious cramps in her wake.

Some times it was worse than others and this just so happened to be one of those weeks where you felt certain that death would be a better option.

“Hey, you doing okay?” You heard a small voice come from in front of the couch and opened your eyes to see your sweet boyfriend crouched in front of you.

Bucky’s cool vibranium hand reaches out to gently stroke your hair from your face. You sighed softly as the coolness from his limb sent a small shiver down your spine.

“M’okay.” You mumbled, trying to sound less pathetic than you felt. “Just need the ibuprofen to kick in.”

Bucky chuckled softly—a small grin decorating his gorgeous face. His hand continued to smooth your hair back softly as he studied your face, attempting to discern whether or not you were lying to get him not to worry.

“I’m serious, Buck. I’m okay.” You sat up a bit, still clutching the heating pad to your lower abdomen as you attempted to appear unphased at the way your uterus was trying to force itself from your body.

“Baby, you look like you’re going to burst into tears at any moment.” Bucky laughed a bit as he let his hand fall from your head onto your thigh. “Let me take care of you, yeah? Still owe you for stitching’ me up last week.”

As you looked into his beautiful blue eyes, you knew he wasn’t going to take no for an answer. After a few moments you nodded softly at him, giving in to your boyfriend and his caring nature.

Bucky smiled and leaned in to press a kiss to your forehead before getting up and padding back into your shared bedroom. A few minutes passed before he appeared back in front of the couch with your favorite hoodie of his and your biggest, fluffiest blanket.

A lump caught in your throat at the kind gesture as you sat up more and slipped the hoodie over your head. Bucky took this opportunity to sit back on the couch and placed a pillow in his lap for you to rest your head on.

Smiling brightly at him, you distributed the blanket between the two of you and found refuge in his lap—the heating pad still firmly placed to your abdomen.

Bucky put on your favorite show and began to absentmindedly twirl your hair between his fingers as the two of you enjoyed the quiet. Before you knew it, he was ordering your favorite food for dinner and offering to feed it to you on the couch.

“I really love you…you know that?” You smiled at him as you sat before him on the couch.

Bucky’s lips turned upwards slightly as he gave your knee a squeeze.

“I love you too, baby. Now, finish your plate so I can go draw us a bath.”

“Why are you freaking out? It’s seriously not a big deal.”

You rolled your eyes as you flopped back onto his futon, completely baffled as to why your best friend was shitting bricks over the fact that you didn’t have a valentine this year.

“I’m not freaking out!” Matt’s voice broke slightly, earning a grin he could practically hear etch itself onto your face. “I’m not freaking out. I’m just saying, I thought you and what’s-his-nuts were together.”

“Ah yes, what’s-his-nuts. The one with the nuts.” You joked—laughing as you deflected the throw pillow Matt tosses your way.

“You know, for someone who’s blind—you sure do have good aim.”

The interaction between the two of you had been on Matt’s mind all afternoon. Although you claimed to not be phased by not having a valentine, Matt knew that wasn’t the case.

As long as he’d known you, Valentine’s Day had been your favorite holiday—whether you had a significant other or not.

“All of the hoopla about Valentine’s Day having to be for couples—it’s bullshit. It’s just a day dedicated to love and showing how you care about other people. I think that’s pretty cool.”

The way you had always talked about the minor holiday made Matt’s heart skip a beat in his chest. Everything you did—you always did with passion, and the way you celebrated this holiday was no different. He could always expect a massive card and a shit ton of candy delivered to him and Foggy’s shared apartment.

Sometimes Matt Murdock wondered if you loved love almost as much as he loved you.

Of course, he could never admit that. You were so incredibly out of his league and anytime he ever thought about admitting his feelings for you, there was always some chump who came in and swooped you up.

The idea of you spending your favorite holiday alone was too much for him to bear—so he set a plan into motion. One to ensure you had a Valentine’s Day to remember.

To say you were surprised as you walked into your apartment filled with red and white balloons would be putting it mildly. The place was almost unrecognizable as you pushed open the front door and noticed the place filled to the brim.

Your mouth hung open slightly as you took in the sight before you. On top of the balloons scattered about the place, there were dozens of flowers decorating your table and a huge stuffed animal seated upon your couch.

Blinking slowly, you finally realized that your best friend was sat on the couch as well—grinning from ear to ear.

“Matt, what the fuck? How did you do all this?” You stammered out—still in complete awe of the gesture.

“You said you didn’t have a Valentine this year.” Matt shrugged, as though he hadn’t just executed the most perfect surprise you’d ever gotten, “just had to make sure you felt as special as you make everyone else feel.”

Matt quickly tossed his cane to the floor as he heard you begin to run across the threshold of the apartment. An, “oof”, tumbled from his lips as you jumped into his lap and wrapped yourself tightly around him. Laughing, he wrapped his arms around you in return.

“This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me, Murdock.” You whispered into his neck, the sensation sending a small shiver down his spine.

“You deserve to feel like this all the time.” Matt spoke softly.

He felt you pull away and set your gaze upon his face.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Murdock.”

“Happy Valentine’s Day, you. Now, if you’d be so inclined as to crawl off of my lap—there’s an ice cream cake in the fridge with your name on it.”

A giggle fell from your lips as you jumped from his lap and ran into the kitchen.

Matt had pulled off one of the best surprises of the year.

Now if only he could pull off telling you how he felt.

These are such good questions!!!

I think the fic of mine that has been my favorite to write would probably be either Already Gone (Ex!Bucky Barnes x reader) or What A Lie (Andy Barber x reader). Both are ones that I felt really passionate about as I was writing them and were ones that I was excited to post.

There are a ton of fics that inspired me whenever I first came back to tumblr. Here are just a few of the people who’s writing I have adored and were some of the first people I spoke to on here:

The tequila burned your throat in the most delicious way as you tossed back your second shot of the evening like it was nothing. The sting of the liquor caused you to cough slightly, your hand coming up to your mouth to catch the stray droplets that tried to fall from the corners of your lips. As you wiped your mouth with the back of your hand, you slammed the glass back onto the bar.

Perhaps this includes a certain fluffy haired fuckboy?

🍫 could I have a headcannon where @buckys-blue-eyes and I are getting married but someone interrupts at “speak now or forever hold your piece” and…..

I can’t believe I’m actually doing this for you.

Morgan looked her betrothed in the eyes as the priest spoke.

She couldn’t believe how beautiful Shelby looked before her, or how rapidly her heart was beating.

It hadn’t been an easy road to get where they are today, but they made it there. Together.

Shelby squeezed Morgan’s hands tightly and dragged her from her thoughts, earning a small smile from Morgan’s lips.

“Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.” The priest’s voice echoed through the walls of the chapel.

A hushed silence fell over the room as Shelby and Morgan shared an awkward laugh. Neither of them did very well in situations like this.

Just as the priest opened his mouth to speak once more, the front doors to the chapel burst open—causing the entire crowd gathered to turn with a gasp.

Morgan and Shelby both jumped, turning their attention to the loud noise.

All the blood drained from Morgan’s face as she saw who entered the chapel.

“I can’t let you go through with this, Little One.” Thanos stated, hands balled into fists at his side.

There was a pregnant silence that fell over the crowd.

Morgan could feel her heart beating in her ears—her breath rapid and shallow.

It was apparently Shelby’s eyes were burning into the side of her face, but he was all Morgan could focus on.

“You don’t want to do this. I know you don’t want to do this.” Thanos continued as he crept down the isle toward the couple.

“No….no, you don’t get to come in here and act like you know me, Thanny. Not after what you did to me.” Morgan spat, voice shaky as tears threatened to breach her eyelids.

“I’m sorry, Little One. I only did what I thought was right.”

Then a member of the congregation stood up and shot Thanos dead in cold blood. The crowd cheered and Morgan and Shelby lived happily ever after.
