Sao Alicization: War of Underworld - Ep 17 Il Figlio del Demonio

IN ITALIA L'ANIME E' DISPONIBILE SULLA PIATTAFORMA GRATUITA VVVVID! SUPPORTIAMOLA!

E ritorna l'appuntamento con Sao, ora più che mai l'hype è alto perchè finalmente Kirito pare molto vicino a svegliarsi, seriamente se non bastano le ragazze ed Eugeo a convincerlo io alzo le mani. Kirito era in questa scuola dunque, e pensa che è meglio che torni a casa, sai com'è si sta facendo buio, prima o poi dovrà tornarci. Mentre cammina per strada vediamo Eugeo ed Alice, le uniche persone dotate di occhi, le comparse sono tutte come delle ombre. Kirito cerca di ricordare cosa stesse facendo, c'era qualcosa di importante da fare (EH SI, gli urlano dall'Underworld tutti quanti), ma non riesce ad afferrare cosa fosse. Arrivato vicino casa si sente chiamare, e riconosce la primissima gilda a cui si è unito nel primo Sao, ed il momento in cui sono morti male perchè volevano aprire per forza un baule del cavolo.

Sul campo di battaglia Vassago comincia a stufarsi del fatto che il protagonista se la dorma della grossa, e comincia a minacciare di uccidere tutti quelli che gli capitano a tiro se Kirito non si sveglia. Asuna prova ad alzarsi ma è troppo stremata. A darle la forza arriva la piccola Yuki, che ricorderemo certo per quel piccolo arco narrativo della seconda stagione, che le ricorda che deve proteggere le persone a lei care. E così Asuna ritrova la forza e si scaglia contro Vassago, ah se anche nella vita reale bastassero i discorsetti volemosebbè a risolvere le situazioni. I due incrociano le lame, e quando lei gli chiede perchè faccia tutto questo lui risponde che ciò che gli interessa è Kirito, lo ama profondamente per la sua capacità di rimanere saldo nei suoi principi ed onesto nonostante tutta la corruzione e la cattiveria con cui fa i conti, e non gli permette di ridursi così senza di lui, incapace di combattere, ucciderà tutti quelli che gli capitano a tiro a costo di farlo svegliare. Aspetta aspetta aspetta, avverto una vaga contraddizione capitano, ma Vassago la scorsa puntata diceva che stava facendo tutto questo perchè ce l'aveva coi giapponesi e ne voleva uccidere quanti più possibile, adesso è andata a finire a love story? A meno che per amore non intendano ammirazione o stima, in questo caso avrebbe molto più senso la cosa. Il problema è che Vassago dice "aishiteru", l'amore vero e proprio, quindi la perplessità mi rimane. E non per l'amore in se, non fraintendetemi, ma perchè il personaggio di Vassago l'amore manco sa cosa sia, non trovo coerente che la sua smania di combattere contro Kirito sia dovuta a questo e non ad una sana e classica psicopatia. E comunque mio caro Vassago, mettiti in fila di grazia, che le/gli spasimanti di Kirito potrebbero oramai fondare un paesello. Ma andiamo avanti. Vassago spiega anche il funzionamento della sua mannaia, cioè quello di assorbire l'energia delle persone uccise, e si da il caso che su quel campo di battaglia non fanno altro che ammazzarsi a vicenda da giorni. E' chiaro quindi chi ha più potenzialità tra lui e Asuna. Ma lei ha Yuki dalla sua, e sappiamo che il potere dell'ammore è di gran lunga più potente di qualsiasi logica negli anime di questo tipo, e le spuntano dalla schiena due ali enormi. Comincia uno scontro epico davvero, simile come stile a quello tra Miller e Bercoulli, con i disegni tratteggiati in maniera più forte e scura, ed Asuna gliene fa vedere quattro a quell'infame psicopatico, tanto che riesce a fargli un enorme buco al torace.

Mo sarà morto, come può sopravvivere ad un buco largo mezzo metro in pancia? Ebbene anche qui la logica va a quel paese, ma penso che sia dovuto al potere della mannaia, perchè è diventata ancora più larga e riesce a tirare su Vassago, che puntando in alto l'arma prende ancora il controllo dei cavalieri rossi e li aizza tutti contro i nostri eroi. La povera Asuna, spinta a terra, non può fare altro che fissare Kirito disperata. Mettiamo in pausa l'Underworld e torniamo dentro la mente di Kirito, fermo alla morte della sua prima gilda e di Sachi. Quel momento lo perseguita ancora, se ne addossa la colpa, e non solo di quello ma di tutte le morti che ha visto e che ha commesso nel corso di queste stagioni, anche se l'ha fatto per il bene dei suoi amici, per la propria sopravvivenza, per combattere contro persone malvagie…ha comunque ucciso, e non vuole più ricordare nè sentirsi in colpa. Del resto anche Higa aveva in un certo senso spiegato questa cosa, dopo la morte di Eugeo, la fluctlight di Kirito era così in collera con se stesso che se n'è addossato la colpa ed è andata in corto circuito, autosabotandosi. Davanti a Kirito, in lacrime e sanguinante perchè vuole strapparsi il cuore, compaiono Asuna, Sinon e Sugua, ma ancora non è abbastanza per svegliarlo. Anche Higa è frustrato davanti al pc, non sa cos'altro fare per dare una scossa al senpai, ma dal nulla sullo schermo appare una quinta fluctlight, da dentro Underworld, e noi dentro la mente di Kirito vediamo Eugeo, che ricorda all'amico di quanto siano importanti i ricordi di quelli che ci amano, saranno sempre serbati nel nostro cuore, a prescindere dalle difficoltà e dagli addii. Eugeo, insieme alle ragazze, riesce a convincere Kirito che può, e deve, per il bene di sè stesso e dei suoi cari, ricominciare a camminare e a combattere, ed insieme si prendono per mano. Nessun giro giro tondo però eh, che qua la gente muore e voi fate i vostri porci comodi.

Il campo di battaglia viene invaso da un profumo di rose, risuonano la voci di Kirito e di Eugeo insieme, e tutti i nemici vengono racchiusi in bozzoli di ghiaccio. La voce di Eugeo, mia cara Asuna, apri bene le orecchie; verò è che secondo me lei si è ormai arresa a condividere il senpai con altre tremila persone. Nulla può rendere più felice Vassago, che si libera e si scaglia contro Asuna e le altre, ma una mano dorata spunta a fermare la mannaia e a proteggere le ragazze. Kirito si è alzato ed avanza lentamente con la spada di Eugeo in mano, il braccio destro gli è tornato e sovrappone la mano a quella dorata che aveva fermato Vassago, come se Eugeo lo avesse anticipato ed ora lui lo stia seguendo nei movimenti e nei gesti. Asuna con le lacrime agli occhi vede un Kirito del tutto sveglio e determinato a riempire di botte qualche sederino. Un bell'episodio. Tecnicamente non è successo nulla, Asuna ha provato a fermare Vassago e Kirito si è svegliato, potevo commentare dicendo questo e mi sarei risparmiata il tempo, ma è quello che c'è aldilà di questo che conta, c'è tanta commozione, tanto dolore e senso di colpa, e devo fare un applauso al doppiatore di Kirito, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, ha realmente fatto trasparire il dolore e l'angoscia del personaggio, la voglia di farla finita e di non voler più vedere nulla, e la voce rotta dal pianto quando grazie a Eugeo capisce che in realtà merita di vivere e di essere felice, tutto quello che ha sopportato non è mai stato colpa sua e deve smettere di angosciarsi per questo. E Eugeo, piccolo mio, la tenerezza fatta persona, c'è un legame specialissimo tra lui e Kirito, non si tratta di amore, è qualcosa che va aldilà, anche Asuna fallisce dove Eugeo invece riesce, poichè è morto tra le braccia di Kirito ed ora è divenuto la sua forza…indescrivibile, seriamente. E mi ferisce dirlo, ma tutto questo non avrebbe funzionato se Eugeo non fosse morto, doveva andare così, si doveva sacrificare perchè solo così avrebbe avuto la potenza per risollevare Kirito. Da brividi. Ora non resta che mettersi comodi e godersi lo spettacolo, Kirito è tornato e non vediamo l'ora di vederlo in azione! Al prossimo episodio! -sand-

Just finished season one of BOFURI, and OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS

I love how even though Maple finds these crazy OP skills, it's not as if she's the only one who can acquire them. She's just better at finding them because she wanders off the beaten path and tries things that a normal player wouldn't, like laying down and getting hit by monsters to raise resistance or straight up trying to eat monsters. It's not like other people don't have skills like hers, the other top players also have some crazy skills too, which makes sense because they'd also be hunting around for skills, just in a different way. It's like Kirito's dual wielding in SAO, but EVERY player could possibly learn it as well as countless other busted skills, it's great XD

I also like how lax everyone is compared to how people acted in SAO, even in the other arcs like Alfheim or GGO where real life death isn't a threat. It's just a game, and while things can get a little heated during the fights there's nothing stopping Maple from trying to befriend her "enemies" after the fact. There's even characters like Mii, who seems like a charismatic leader who's always making great speeches, but it turns out they're actually just roleplaying! There's also the little text chats that you see every episode between Kuromu and his friends, where there's a mix of complaining about the balance issues of the game, cheering on Maple, and just laughing at the absurdity of it all.
