Oooh long queues are a blessing and a curse (mostly a curse haha). I tend to lose motivation, yet I always ALWAYS end up with long queues again :/ Anyway, I hope you find the wheels helpful :D

This is chapeter is my favourite so far! Also this story is making me feeling nostalgic of my university years, because my flatmate and I were just like Oliver and Rhett, not in our relationship but in our shy/outgoing points and our reactions to some things. I even used to eat her mother's cakes (yes, I was Rhett xD).

Haha, Emma is definitely a mum role model :D I got the idea from these decision based games, where you can choose stuff. It’s a bit tricky to cut the chapters like that, but I think it worth it, it’s fun!

Ollie definitely has a lot of irony XD I wish I could! I haven’t even built the sets for the next chapter, I really need to make that club a sensible size, so it’s not too small, but I don’t need to pose a thousand sims to fill it! Ahhhh

2021 Simblr Goals

I was tagged by @fwaldorf, thank you! 💕

Try to stay active. I’m going to try my best to not disappear for long bits in 2021, because I have a feeling it will be an even more difficult year.

Get better at meshing. I would like to try converting more elaborate items, converting between ages, and get into making mashups!

Learn to mod. I have a technical background and I think I could be okay at this, if I took the time to really learn about it lol.

Make standalone programs for the Sims 2. This will definitely require some modding knowledge. I’m not sure what exactly to make, but @lazyduchess is very inspiring to me! Thanks for sharing everything on your github. ❤️

Try to be more interactive. I don’t exactly make interactive posts on here, or try to start a conversation (if that makes sense). It’s easier for me in smaller discords, with people I’ve already befriended through here. I am kind of nervous about interacting with a larger audience on social media, if that makes any sense?!

Post gameplay pictures! I’m not really one to write stories/fabricate dialouge, but I think I could still have fun posting pictures of my sims being ugly or whatever, lmao.

Make more consistent preview pictures. So many creators on here have such aesthetically pleasing photos for their CC, I need to get better at being consistent and aesthetic! (Looking at you @vidcunds, @falkii, @socialbunny, @sinjin-balani!)

200 followers: Welcome to Lago Dulce! A Mountain Vacation Subhood

Hola amixes! This took me forever, but I finally created a vacation hood! It’s the very first time I upload something so big, and it’s not the big deal, but I worked hard on it and I’m kinda proud!

Why Lago Dulce? I just needed a Mountain hood that looked as cozy as my native hometown (yes, I’m from the Chilean Patagonia). Lago Dulce literally translates to “Sweet Lake” but the lots around here are inspired in:

1. The Colonial architecture that the colonizers brought to the Patagonia 

2. Our native towns. Most of the names of the Lakes and some of the locals are inspired from the native towns that lived here before the genocide colonization.

About the lots:

There is a camping area, two fishing lagoons, two houses for sale, two hotels, a bed-and-breakfast lodging, an apartment area (that works a hotel of course), a market, a tourist area, a restaurant, a clothing store, a skating rink, a nightclub and spa baths.

Get the Look:

Though the neighborhood is completely built without CC, I strongly recommend you to use your own! In the pictures I’m using skylines, shader fixes and lighting mods, edited terrain paint and some default replacements.

The Locals:

There are seven locals. They’re all wearing jackets because, you know, the weather in Lago Dulce is rather cold. You might read their descriptions in SimPe, they all have a little story background. The beauty of the south of southamerica, they all have different names from different and foreigner backgrounds.

hey! First of all, I love all of your builds and especially your gameplay! So, I've decided that I want to remake Pleasantview on my own using your wonderful builds. Unfortunately, I have a problem with the 77 Maple Street lot :( Everytime I try to exit the lot my game crashes :( Am I the only one having this issue?

I’m not sure what the problem is but you’re definitely not the only one experiencing it because @sandybruty also reported it recently. I’ve tested it several times  and it also crashes for me (also tried deleting the furniture etc to no avail). I really don’t know why because it worked OK when I first uploaded it!! :S I’ve seen other people have this problem with that particular lot in Willow Creek (e.g. @peachandherpan; see below )….so I’m not sure if it’s a problem with that particular lot in the game :S

I’m so sorry :(

Thank you so much! Ch1 is on the way. I was working on it alongside the prologue for a while (there’s also a few other companion pieces in the works), but it was too much and I had to focus on the prologue. So there’s a pretty good chunk done already, which is nice. And I like ch1 a lot more than the prologue. I’m excited to finish it and share it with everyone.

When Don says “Ladies” to the statues is my favourite, man those first few scenes he’s so skeevy! Love the little nod to strange county! And Mr. Blue!! Mr. Blue!! And the incorporation of the Tricous. This is all so unsettling, so creepy and eerie, and tragic, but so well done, but oh that ending ��������

He was a major sleaze, but he’s been taken down a notch or two. He’s still sleazy, but no longer quite so effortlessly.

I hated the ending. Haaaaated it. I fought myself until the bitter end because I absolutely did not want to go down that road. But nothing else was going to have the long term impact on other characters and story lines that her death would. Still hated doing it. So much.

I love you for loving Mr. Blue, btw. He’s such a little shit. A lot of fun to work with, though.

Also, thank you for this comment and all of the other lovely ones you’ve made before. I tend to be garbage at responding properly, but I’m so thankful to have you as a mutual and for your kindness and support here and all the times before.

This was such a great read. I honestly went from thinking “nice, this is a long prologue!” To “it’s not enough! I need more!” It was so great, the pleasant twins are two of my favorite characters and I always love reading about them.  It was a great mixture of eerie and sad (little Beau!), can’t wait to read more :)

lol, it is so long. I had to force myself to stop writing it because it was just getting out of control. I didn’t even get to include the Strangetown stuff I wanted to, but Strangetown is more important to future story lines than past ones, anyway.

I love the Pleasant twins, too. I’ve become suddenly and obsessively attached to the Cordials, too, probably because they’re au Pleasant twins. It’s a problem I won’t be fixing.

Beau ): and unnamed baby, and all my other pixel babies who didn’t make it through the prologue. ): I will miss them, but I hope the story will be better for their sacrifices.

Oh My God! The suspense, the intrigue, the eerieness! This is seriously a masterpiece. And I love how I could ~feel the supernatural just creeping in, dancing along the line of pleasant Pleasantview. I also loved how many characters you'd included, it sounds like the start of a really delicious tale. You're phenomenally talented - thank you for sharing your stories! What a masterpiece!

I want to be buried with these comments, tbh. Thank you so much! I was so worried when I posted it that the community was just going to be like “...was this even necessary...?” and I’m just so thankful that people gave it a chance and liked it.

There’s a lot more characters on the way, too. A lot of Pleasantview sims didn’t make the cut, and Strangetown is heavily involved in future chapters, starting with ch1. I just ran out of time, space and patience because the prologue was already stupid long.

What a wondeful idea! I wish there would be separate defaults for each alignment to use with Meduza's DR but flying vacuum is cool anyway xD

I did the DR in such a way that the different alignments could share some mesh resources to save space so it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to split it up into three files, but you can always delete the SHPE of the alignment you don’t want. You could also delete the TXTR and TXMT that alignment uses (you’re looking for the green recolor for neutral, blue for good, red for evil), if you want to keep the package clean of unused resources.
