I saw @aheathen-conceivably and @trentonsimblr put their sims through the New Profile Pic app, and I just had to give it a try with my characters...
Ophelia
Luke
More Characters below the cut!
Rosie
Ramses
Ben
Taylor
Cora
Louis
Yue
Sam
Josie
Avery
Grant
Claude
Wren
Anyways, this was really interesting to see what my little babies would look like in a sort-of real life. Definitely lots of fun lol
This was definitely so fun to play around with, and obviously since it's AI, some of the pictures came out a lil funky 😅 lol But there are a couple of things I learned while messing around with this:
1- Sometime Sim-proportions turn out a little funky when they're turned into humans 😬😅
2- This app is not very friendly to Sims of Color. I don't know if that was everyone else's experience, but it certainly was mine. For all of my Sims of color, it took multiple tries, multiple different photos, to try to get decent results. The app kept trying to lighten their skin and straighten their hair and it got really annoying (I'm still not perfectly happy with Ramses)
3- Wren is giving Anya Taylor Joy in her pictures and I love that for her. It's what she deserves lol 💅

Yue In Highwall
It seems the future Duchess of Hartwards and current successful video game designer, The Hon. Miss Yue Dias has gotten a taste of the desert weather, as she was spotted once again in Highwall.
Many local patrons have been posting pictures they took this morning of Miss Dias visiting a coffee shop down the street from the Highwall offices of BayTech Arts- the video game development company the Hon. Miss works for.
She was seen with Senior Storyboard Artist, Miss Samara Singh, who Miss Dias bonded with quickly on her initial tour of the company's new facilities. Many have started speculating- Is Miss Singh a new friend? Amiable coworker? Or something more? According to locals, Miss Dias and Miss Singh have been seen out on the town in Highwall several times over the past month. Miss Dias has also not been reported as being anywhere near her home of San Myshuno during that time. Does that mean the Hon. Miss has been here since her first visit? Sources say yes! But is it an extended work trip? Or the honeymoon phase of a new relationship?
After the pair had finished their coffees, they kept up their friendly conversation as they left the shop, seemingly keeping us wondering about the nature of their relationship. But, when they thought the phone cameras had all been put away, a one paparazzi who was waiting outside the shop captured this:
Miss Singh and Miss Dias walking downtown, hand in hand! Finally, a new and exciting relationship for our unlucky-in-love Miss Dias!
We hope nothing but the best for this blossoming relationship!

Friday Releases for May 20
Friday is the busiest day of the week for new releases, so we've decided to collect them all in one place. Friday Releases for May 20 include Men, Jackass 4.5, Killing Nothing, and more.
Men
Men, the new movie from Alex Garland, is out today.
In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper (Jessie Buckley) retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to have found a place to heal. But someone or something from the surrounding woods appears to be stalking her. What begins as simmering dread becomes a fully-formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories and fears in visionary filmmaker Alex Garland’s (Ex Machina, Annihilation) feverish, shape-shifting new horror film.
Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers
Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, the new movie from Akiva Schaffer, is out today.
In “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers,” Chip and Dale are living amongst cartoons and humans in modern-day Los Angeles, but their lives are quite different now. It has been decades since their successful television series was canceled, and Chip (voice of Mulaney) has succumbed to a life of suburban domesticity as an insurance salesman. Dale (voice of Sandberg), meanwhile, has had CGI surgery and works the nostalgia convention circuit, desperate to relive his glory days. When a former castmate mysteriously disappears, Chip and Dale must repair their broken friendship and take on their Rescue Rangers detective personas once again to save their friend’s life.
Mondocane
Mondocane, the new movie from Alessandro Celli, is out today.
In the not-too-distant future on Italy’s southern coast, the city of Taranto has become a toxic wasteland ruled by warring gangs and surrounded by barbed wire, where best friends Pietro and Cristian dream of escaping their hardscrabble existence for a better life in nearby New Taranto. Opportunity knocks when Hothead, the charismatic and dangerous leader of a local gang called the Ants, recruits the two boys and gives them everything they fantasized about: money in their pockets, a family, and a father figure. The friendship begins to splinter, though, as Cristian displays a surprising talent for mayhem and quickly rises through the ranks. With a new female friend pushing them further apart, an obsessed cop hounding the gang, and Hothead becoming increasingly unhinged, the boys barrel toward a confrontation that will determine if their bond is strong enough to survive.
Torn Hearts
Torn Hearts, the new movie from Brea Grant, is out today.
Blumhouse Television and EPIX present this horrifying tale set in Nashville’s Country Music scene. Two rising artists’ visit to their idol, Harper Dutch (Golden Globe-winner Katey Sagal), turns into a twisted series of mental and physical torment.
Jackass 4.5
Jackass 4.5, the new movie from Jeff Tremaine, is out today.
Through outrageous, never-before-seen footage, witness the making of the Jackass crew's last go at wild stunts.
Fire in the Mountains
Fire in the Mountains, the new movie from Ajitpal Singh, is out today.
In northern India, a breathtakingly beautiful Himalayan community attracts tourists by commingling South Asian and Swiss Alps aesthetics. One local woman competes with her neighbors for business while battling the strictures of patriarchy, a local infrastructure from hell, and religious superstitions. She saves money, uses feminine wiles to subvert the corrupt powers-that-be, and piggy-backs her son up and down the mountainside to medical appointments with condescending doctors. In the end, our heroine’s tightly wound grit must find release… in triumph, or madness, or both.
The Valet
The Valet, the new movie from Richard Wong, is out today.
In “The Valet,” world famous movie star, Olivia (Samara Weaving) faces a PR disaster when a paparazzi snaps a photo of her with her married lover, Vincent (Max Greenfield). The hard-working valet Antonio (Eugenio Derbez) accidentally appears in the same photo and is enlisted to pose as Olivia’s new boyfriend as a cover up. This ruse with Olivia thrusts Antonio into the spotlight and unexpected chaos. In this fish out of water romantic comedy, two worlds and cultures collide as both Olivia and Antonio start to see themselves more clearly than ever before.
Cordelia
Cordelia, the new movie from Adrian Shergold, is out today.
Cordelia (Antonia Campbell-Hughes), a young woman living in London, meets her mysterious and alluring neighbor Frank (Johnny Flynn) for the first time but quickly becomes suspicious of his motives. With her twin sister away for the weekend, Cordelia is left alone and overcome with paranoia. She begins to unravel and sink back into past traumas the more that Frank tries to charm his way into her life, becoming a danger to herself and others.
Night Sky
Night Sky, the new TV series from Holden Miller and Daniel C. Connolly, is out today.
Spanning space and time, Night Sky follows Irene (Spacek) and Franklin York (Simmons), a couple who, years ago, discovered a chamber buried in their backyard which inexplicably leads to a strange, deserted planet. They’ve carefully guarded their secret ever since, but when an enigmatic young man (Chai Hansen) enters their lives, the Yorks’ quiet existence is quickly upended… and the mystifying chamber they thought they knew so well turns out to be much more than they could ever have imagined.
Now & Then
Now & Then, the new TV series from Ramón Campos, Teresa Fernández-Valdés, and Gema R. Neira, is out today.
Now and Then is a multi-layered thriller that explores the differences between youthful aspirations and the reality of adulthood, when the lives of a group of college best friends are forever changed after a celebratory weekend ends up with one of them dead. Now the remaining five are reluctantly reunited by a threat that puts their seemingly perfect worlds at risk.
