The One-Armed Oni and The Ancient Machine.
Hank cursed to herself.
Chiyo, despite her recovery, wasn't in any form, shape, or way to fight or wander.
She thought otherwise.
The automaton only hoped Collei would return, post haste.

Hi! In your part 3 of your teen reader au you mentioned how important the readers words are and now I'm just thinking about reader getting so fed up about them taking everything they say so seriously they just.. stop talking. (or maybe they were just quiet in general so barely anyone had heard them speak before)
Warnings: sagau, read the ask! Yelling, these stuff yeah -
Also not proofread
Tumblr media
They didn't see this coming did they.
But they won't find out the real reason behind you keeping your mouth shut and barely even looking at them.
They did not dare to blame you for this, so they just thought of something silly that something or someone offended you
It Started with you barely looking at jean and not responding to her with words. now it's so bad as you keep gaurds to not allow anyone enter and hear your voice again, unless it's lumine/aether
Yes lumine and aether are not like those psychos and they don't believe in you. to be honest, you appreciated that. Finally talking to someone that is ok in the head.
You see They first started blaming themselves yet somehow it slowly shifted towards the twins, why aren't you leaving your room?, those little rascals must be up to something!
So they took them to court to justify their actions, everyone was present from all around teyvat, expecting the twins to get banished from teyvats face or banned from seeing you ever again
As yanfei was about to say the last part of the judgment against aether/lumine, you barged in the room with gaurds, took the twins and hardly made it back to your palace with all of the other acolytes following you. Asking you to slow down for them.
They wouldn't leave you alone just for one second, so you decided to use the strongest weapon you had against them─ words. Your words specifically.
"from now on If anybody here dares to raise their voice or hand against aether/lumine, will get killed with I filming a tiktok with your graves.."
...
Mm, keeping your mouth shut was a better option.. if you value, yk..the twins life-
"But your grace, they are manipulating you into thinking we are the bad guys and they are the only good guys! P-plus we aren't even sure if that's the case!" Keqing said while shaking slightly, she didn't knew you were this affected! She is so sorry, please calm down, she will make it up to you!!
"I forgot who asked for your opinion lady keqing, they are obviously in danger! " Ei replied.
"I apologize for everything I am going to say but miss keqing is wrong, their grace is getting affected by that thing." Zhongli said while walking towards you.
"No, the only thing I am affected is by you taking everything I say so seriously!! I say Guuji yae is slaying with her appearance and you guys think she is KILLING PEOPLE, AND SENT HER TO COURT. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO STOP."
The moment you yelled everyone was on their knees, they never heard you yell! They didn't know what to do now, so they just backed off and shut their mouth for awhile
Fine, the twins can go free, But that doesn't mean you should just ignore them! They just made a "simple" mistake nothing more.
Extra headcanons:
They fired every single person that trailed behind you and wrote everything you said.
Hm, they understand a bit better now, you just want space, after all coming to teyvat as the new heir of their last god is stressful,
So they just come and ask you about some serious political stuff before leaving again.
They also try,
keyword: try to be more casual around you
Inazumians did a good job at this, especially thoma, heizou and the arataki gang, it made you show yourself a bit more to others!
Meanwhile Zhongli could just stare in horror as Itto picked you up and threw you in the air, nearly giving himself a heart attack.
Itto better gets ready to get lectured by zhongli later, a lesson to not touch you again.
Not like itto would listen to him in the first place 🙄💅
But yeah, they might not write your words down anymore and go less strict on you, so a bit more time to enjoy to yourself before they slowly try to write your words down. In secret of course!

‘Eternity with you becomes enjoyable’
Tumblr media
AUs: sentient Genshin SAGAU, religion-having beloved isekaied Teyvat god!Reader
Pronouns: gender neutral, ‘you’ used throughout everything.
Cw/Tw: none, mentions of starts and ends of life cycles
Genre: fluffy
Characters: all Archons, npc kid, npc Teyvatians
You never age.
It’s been millennia since you landed in Teyvat. You’ve grown your following; you’ve given life, you’ve taken lives. Your companions have changed, aged, and your handmaidens have been passing their mantle unto their heirs.
Yet you look the same as you’ve first arrived, aside from the slight weariness and matured composure. The firm, clear light in your eyes stayed the same; your skin untouched by Teyvat’s time; your strength undiminished.
And when Ami, the Child of Fruits asked you for the first time, you couldn’t bear to explain to her bright curious eyes — that you’ll witness their black hair turn into white, then into dust; infinitely until you erode into nothingness.
Maybe you try to keep your distance. Maybe you try keeping your hopes up and enjoying lives as it comes. Eventually, you’ll come to take solace in the feeling that;
The spirits of Teyvat and the wishes of its people will always shine through;
like the Naganohara’s shimmering summer fireworks;
Joyous, eternal in its glory, extending warmth far past lifespans.
And as long as Baal lives, her offer stands. You’re much welcomed to nestle yourself on her, hands held and heads buried in each other’s necks, hair braided gently like in the Tsaritsa’s rare sleepovers.
Eternity is bearable through the warmth of companionship — you continue to treasure time spent in Morax’s cosy osmanthus drinks, Barbatos’s sweet apple-scented songs, flower-tending chats with Buer, lazy debates with Focalor, and Murata’s laughter-filled sparring.

Okay so I've been obsessed with this genshin sagau thing
What if there was a au where the original creator died but had a heir (daughter/son/child) so they took the throne as for their father/mother/parent's wish
But the birth of this new heir is also the death of the creator so the people of teyvat didn't really accept it and continued to worship the old creator and left the new one to die
Its like kusanali's story
oh... it's funny how im crying rn/hj
HOW COULD U HURT ME LIKE THIS no bc can you imagine how sad the original creator, or ones who sympathize for the child must feel??? Their child, their lovely baby is being rejected for a dead person. All their life they were told they would get to be just like their mama/papa/parent one day but now everyone's back is turned to them so they continue to worship somone no longer around.
And your child is angry, of course they would be. They want their beloved creator back and so does your child! Of course they want the creator back, that was their parent! But there's no getting them back, if there was they would've done it a hundred times over. Everyone is refusing to move on from your death and it angers your baby. Because that's their parent, they should be the ones in denial being held by people that understand the situation and can help them through it. How fucked is it that the situation is reversed? Your child gets no time to mourn or move on from your death because the rest of Teyvat is telling them you're still alive.
You're not!
Your child can tell with absolute certainty that you are no longer alive, because there's no one to hold their hand. There's no one the Earth sings to... other than them. All the things that Teyvat loved about you, the earth is finding in your child. That is their only comfort. When even you aren't their to hold their hand, the land you left behind will.
That's enough of a legacy for your child to feel comfort, even when you're gone.

The Imposter — III
spoilers - Childe's backstory
genre: SAGAU, villain/imposter AU, isekai
characters: childe, klee, brief mention of jean and childe's family, imposter!GN reader
warnings: mentions of an accident, childe loves his family and is starting to love the reader a little too much
notes: part three is pretty short ngl but here's where it all starts!! And with childe too smh
Tumblr media
Turning away would be the most respectful thing to do at this moment. They are peaceful, enjoying the sun under the tree in the garden of their temple. They look serene and so different from the past weeks they've seen them
Their God truly is a spectacle of beauty like none other, Childe thinks
Learning about them in his childhood, once more in the Abyss, and again during his training in the Fatui, Childe would like to think he knew everything about their God. Or at least, much more than a normal human
And yet he never knew they could make such a peaceful yet such a solemn expression. A lost flower in the middle of a field of dandelions, so beautiful and yet it just doesn't belong
“..Genshin Impact.. Accident.. Did I…”
All self restraint flew out the window as soon as he caught the word ‘accident.’ He inched closer against the wall, trying to hide from their God yet still be able to hear them
He felt sick doing this to the one he is most loyal to other than his family, but he had to make sure they weren't hurt, right?
“..Body,” He hears them scribble on a paper. A short peek and he sees a notebook someone must've given them. Based on the design, it's most likely the second heir of the Feiyun Commerce Guild. “Then if I'm in their body, am I isekai'd? What happened to them..?”
‘If.. I'm in their body?’—
“Your excellency!”
Childe jumps at the young, high pitched sound. He turns his head once more to their God, spotting a little red girl bounce up to them
“Klee,” Their God visibly softened, and Childe would give anything just to witness once more how their body relaxed and how their lips quirked upward for just a bit. “Is everything alright?”
The little girl, Klee, nods. “I wanted to make a flower crown for Master Jean! She's been working so hard, especially with the imposter situation or whatever. I don't really get it, but it's really making her tired,” The little girl pouts, she hugs a bundle of different kinds of flowers in her arms. “I just wanted to ask if you could tell her to calm down and play a little, please?”
This girl— Clearly knew nothing about what is and is not prohibited when talking to the all powerful Creator. Any mention of the imposter would have their temper flurrying up again and they're merciless. Who knows what they'll do to the poor—
They laughed, a very soft, angelic laugh. A hand came up to take the girl's hat before patting her head. “I'll make sure to say a few words to Jean, don't worry,” Childe watches, astonished, as their God picked the girl up and sat her in their lap. They gently laid the flowers on the table in front of them, pushing away the notebook they had been scribbling on earlier. “Now, you said you wanted to make a flower crown?”
The entire scene was so.. Gentle. Never in his life would he have imagined their God, their cruel and sadistic Creator to treat a child acolyte of theirs so gently. He had never even seen them look at a child before, and yet here they are peacefully humming while making flower crowns with Klee
He couldn't help but imagine how they'd be with his own siblings. He'd watch them get along, with their God treating them oh-so gently. How would they play with Teucer? Would they cook alongside his older sister, alongside him? Would they be willing to tell the tales of Teyvat to his younger siblings as bedtime stories?
They would guarantee his family's safety, right? Who would dare touch the people their excellency adores?
They'd both be like parents to a family of their own. Wouldn't it be wonderful?
A strange desire ignited in Childe's chest that day, and it would only grow the more he sees their God

It was a peaceful day in your little clearing in Wuwang Hill. Being able to perform infront of people is refreshing, And Just in time your Audience to arrive.You Heard Rustling in the bushes. You turn around to see your favorite People, The Heir Xingqui,The Cryo Exorcist With his Aunt Chongyun and Shenhe, little miss Zombie QiQI, and the Spark Knight of The Ordo Favonius Klee...who randomly stumbled upon this place.
"My Liege I would like to give you you something" Xingqui said hiding his hands behind his back. You faced Xingqui curiously, "But Your Divinity should close their eyes" Klee bounced hugging a dodoco plushie. You giggled and closed you eyes "Ok...ok...And I won't peek don't worry" you felt something light and wooden on you hands "You can open them now"
You opened you eyes to reveal a traditional Chinese fan Infront has a singular Nasty looking green flower in a feild. You turned it around to see your poem 'The Lone flower' written down. "I—. Omg...This is..Thank you so much.." you managed to sob out. Tears streaming from your cheeks.
"A-Ah your Grace is crying" QiQi spoke up and grabbed your sleeve "No...no it's alright QiQi I'm alright" you smiled, then you heard some talking in the bushes. "Why did we have to go to Liyue to help look? why couldn't we just left it to the Milleleth And the Knights?" Someone was coming. Everyone gasped and their eyes landed on you, you nodded and ran into a hole inside a tree and covered yourself with vines. Walked in was a Detective and a Tengu warrior, Unreleased character Shikanoin Heizou and The General of the Shogunate Kujou Sara.
"Huh?" Sara gasped at this sight of people in a middle of the forest. "Are you looking for Their grace as well?" Kujou Sara asked. Everyone looked at eachother "Well no—"Chongyun started and then got cut off by Xingqui "We were looking for Ghosts, cause our friends here, Are Exorcists" great cover, and is not being sarcastic.
"Or are you hiding Their Grace?" Heizou said opening his eyes. You were swearing on your self that this Ranpo ripoff finds you, you're throwing hands. "What?" Shenhe stared ALSO about to throw hands. "What are you on about Shikanoin?" Sara walked up to him and Grabbed his Shoulder. He slipped out of her grasp and walked over to your tree, you were so ready to throw a punch. And he moved the vines covering you. "I. Am. So. Done." You huffed out as you pulled the vines back. "You can stay as long as you keep your mouth shut and watch my performances" you mumbled out in frustration.
"Performances?" The Electro users mumbled out. You stepped out of the tree and the two small children sat them down. You bowed and started telling your story.
By the end both of them were mesmerized and promised to keep it a secret. Well it is a win win. You just prayed it won't happen again.

The Master of Puppets, The Reunion of Friends, and The Altered Destiny.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sounds of heavy panting echoed through the desolate cavern, with the occupants holding on to a nearby wall for support.
"Well, that was terrifying." Phillip said in a matter-of-fact tone, as he quickly brushed himself off and adjusted his clothes. "You two okay?"
"Huff... I haven't been this exhausted in a while!" Amber then nodded. "But, apart from that, I'm fine! How about you, Eula?"
"...I swear, if we get out of this alive, I will get my vengeance." from her tone and glare alone, Phillip knew not to make a comment; the Lawrence Clan are known for their photographic memory, after all.
"Lovely; now, apart from that nice greeting we had from our resident hellspawn, I noticed quite a few things about this place while we were running.
"You know, besides it being a shithole." he added, seeing Eula's unamused gaze.
"Well, go on; I want to know who to put on ice after all this."
"Eula!"
"Well, it's clear that someone has been using these tunnels for a bit now; maybe just under a few months. Not only that, but I sense multiple Elemental lifeforms around us; one that's incredibly pure, most probably the kid; one that's incredibly dark, maybe Collei and Hank, and--"
"Wait, hold on." Amber suddenly looked incredibly interested, her eyes looking oddly distant. "Did you say Collei?"
"Hm? Oh, you know her? Around your height, green hair, purple eyes, and a lot of snark?"
"Yeah... yeah, that's her!" she suddenly looked puzzled. "But, I thought she was in Sumeru?"
Chuckling in exhaustion, he gestured. "Come; I'll fill you two in as we walk."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So, random question; let's say, for a moment, that I don't recall mentioning my little... problem. Would you be able to sense it, still?"
"Indeed; my eye is able to track, trace and analysis Elements. Yours is no exception."
Walking at the androids' side, Collei moved the bracelet-gauntlets, grumbling. "I admit I'm not the fashion type, but why are they so large? And--wait, how did you make these so fast?"
Hank glanced at her. "They were made that way to control larger amounts of energy, Archon Residue or Elements. As for its quick creation, I had it on my person for a while; I simply completed some last minute adjustments on it."
"How long is 'a while'?"
She shrugged. "Last I checked, one hundred and twenty-three days."
"I guessed..."
Continuing on, Collei gave herself a mental shrug. Might as well learn more about her unexpected companion, right?
"So, apart from your guns, what else do you use in combat?"
Hank pointed towards her waist, where thin capsules laid side-by-side.
"These: Micro Elemental Bombs, or MEBs for short. Once thrown, they explode upon either elemental reaction or a heat source. The latter, I don't worry about; as an android, I have no body heat."
"Hmm..." putting her arms out and... 'willing' it, dark tendrils surrounded Collei's arms. "Would this count as a heat source?"
"...No, it would not. Why do you ask?"
"Say if you need someone to give it an extra 'oomph'; if I cover myself, I'd be able to hold them, right?"
"...That is correct." Hank looked pleased, though she's not sure if that's a necessarily 'good' thing.
"Well, anyways... is there anyone else here besides us?"
Hank's eye flickered into life, and Hank then replied: "There is Phillip, Llizel's mortal vessel and an 'Amber' and 'Eula Lawrence' as well... Collei?" Hank turned to the frozen girl, who's eyes were wide.
Collei blinked, then muttered in shock, "Amber's here...?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, that explains a few things.
Holding on to your staff to support to yourself, you peered down and spotted a group that you weren't surprised to see:
The Fatui. Because where danger and/or interesting things are, they're soon to follow.
And, sitting on a Ruin Guard, her bored eyes twiddling her thumbs, was the Fatui Harbinger Marionette, or just Sandrone.
"Progress." her voice was soft, but with the underlining venom in it, you immediately knew she wouldn't be fun to face in combat.
"I'm afraid that it has been slow, Lady Sandrone," a Skirmisher said, as he moved over to a device that sunk into the ground. "However, we've managed to detect a massive Elemental energy a few hundred feet below us, maybe even less; not only that, but it's artificial as well."
"Artificial? In what way." there wasn't even a flicker on her face, but her voice did hold curiousity.
"We are still attempting to ascertain it, but it seems to be divine in origin; additionally, another Elemental signature shows another entity, one that's ancient in age."
"I see. If you'll please, try and take another scan elsewhere; I shall deal with the affairs here."
The Fatuus nodded, and with a quick, "Yes, My Lady," he walked away. When he was gone Sandrone scanned the room.
"I assume this power I feel is the one of Our Divine Leader. Do I assume correctly?" there was no hostility in her voice, only a curiosity.
Seeing that you've already been found out, you decide to find yourself, and teleport some feet behind her. "You've got a good eye."
"...Hiding your physical form? ...I suppose that is fair; after all, God or not, one should always be careful." Sandrone reasoned, before turning to your exact location. "Still, a suggestion; perhaps you should consider hiding your Elemental energy as well?"
...Yeah, she's got you there. Revealing yourself, you gave a shrug. "I confess that my mind hasn't been the sharpest lately. I will take l your suggestion to heart, however."
The Marionette's eyebrows raised at your appearance, icy blue eyes betraying not the slightest thought behind them. "So, the God Who Formed Teyvat has returned. For what reason?"
You smiled, walking around and slowly twirling the Staff of Llizel. "Now, that's an interesting question. Honestly, I could tell you that I'm here on important business, when I'm actually just here to relax. I could tell you I have descended to save the world from an immediate crisis, when I'm actually just going to sit back and watch it happen.
"What I'm trying to say is: it's not what I think I'm here for, it's what you think I'm here for."
"...I see. Then, if I was to say you were here in order to help the world of Teyvat in ridding it of a potentially harmful being..."
"...Then, that shall be my reason." you nodded, your staff on the floor. "I never thought I'd find myself in the company of one of the Cryo Archon's Harbingers, to be frank, but it is nice not knowing all."
"Forgive my prying, but what do you mean, 'nice not knowing nothing', might I ask?"
"Personally, and don't tell this to anyone from Sumeru, but I believe that true knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing; knowing everything can be incredibly dull, all things considered, and mayhaps I simply enjoy surprises, but I quite enjoy adapting and overcoming obstacles."
"...Hm." Sandrone nodded at you, a smile gracing her lips. "In that case, it's a pleasure to work with you, Your Grace."
"Likewise, Lady Sandrone."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hm~hm~hm-hm~hm-hm-hm-hm."
"Please tell me you're not enjoying this."
"Oh, heavens no; although, when the going gets tough, denial is one's best friend."
Amber let out a small laugh at her friend and the strange yet respectful traveller's small bouts of talk. It helps to break the silence that normally befalls them. After a moment more of walking, Amber tried her hand at conversation, as Phillip paused to check the Elements around them.
"Say, Phillip, I've been wondering; do you have any hobbies?"
Eula looked at her, but Phillip chose to reply. "Hobbies? Hmm... well, to be perfectly honest, no; not in this life, anyhow."
"Eh? What do you mean, 'not in this life'?"
"That, my friend, is where it gets less logical and more 'please believe me' territory. Though, since you're curious, I'll try my best to explain it simply: firstly, tell me this: what is, to you, a soul?"
"A soul?" Amber put her hand to her chin, tapping it as her eyes closed. "Well... it's what a living being is, right? What makes them 'them'?"
"That's a good description, yes; furthermore, a soul can be, basically, recycled; when a person's physical body dies, and their conscious fades entirely, their soul gets 'cleaned', and is then passed on to the next new living being. What then happens then, if you please, if a soul isn't fully cleaned?
"In short, the memories of that life is passed on to the next being, more commonly known as reincarnation: as it currently stands, I am the sixth reincarnation, with this being my last."
"...Okay, let's say for a moment I believe you," Eula challenged, her eyebrow quirked. "How is it that you still possess all your memories without suffering any mental damage?"
"Ah, now that is something I was hoping you'd ask; simply put, I've categorised my memories, from life, into talents, into knowledge, into experiences, like a folder of sorts. It helps save my memory some trouble, and is highly effective as well!"
"That... actually sounds pretty cool!" admitted the crimson Outrider, and then pondered, "Well, if you have so many memories, could you answer one question of mine?"
"How much?" at Eula's glare, he put his hands up. "I'm joking. Still, if you will?"
"In Sumeru, I heard that people use knowledge as a resource. Well, I was thinking: what is the difference between knowledge and wisdom?"
"Hmm..." crossing his arm over on and placing his hand on his chin, Phillip closed his eyes and stood still for half a minute in silence, his lips moving slightly in whispered words. Finally, he opened them, and shrugged.
"Now, I can't give you a straight answer: I and my Incarnations may share the same Soul, but we share multiple different opinions and lives. Although, I do think that 'we' have an answer:
"Knowledge is, to us, a basic understanding of a subject, philosophy, hobby, sport, or any other type of individual existence. For example, I have a basic understanding, or Knowledge, of sewing. While nothing too noteworthy, I am still able to stitch my own clothing and, by extension, create my own as well.
"Wisdom, meanwhile, is akin to a Master's degree in a subject. You could say that you, Amber, have Wisdom in gliding and archery, whilst in my second reincarnation, as Philip Agro Isekai Tomo, I had Wisdom in playing the violin, guitar and piano. Knowledge and Wisdom are very closely related, but I suppose it matters on the individual's understanding of such things that change it from one to the other."
He then shrugged. "I'm not sure if I helped you in the end, or completely confused you."
Amber did look like she was trying to get her head around it, but after a moment, she gave a thumbs up. "Got it! ...I think!"
"I'm glad to hear tha--"
Not finishing his sentence, Phillip suddenly whipped around and unsheathed his blade in the same motion, pointing it behind him.
Nothing was there.
'...Curious. You felt that too, yes?"
'...'
'...Hm. It seems our connection was closed. I assume Istaroth had a role in this. Rather, the only person who could have a role in this...'
"Phillip?" Amber asked, standing next to him. "Are you okay?"
"...Aye, I've been better though. Shall we continue?"
Eula nodded. "Let's."
As they stepped onwards, they suddenly heard an inhumane roar.
"...Well, shit."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hank blinked. "Well, that's not natural."
"What is it this time?" it wasn't that Collei was sick of Hank. No, far from it: she was just tired with her being incredibly cryptic at all times.
"It seems that Elemental Energy just tripled some couple of feet below us."
"...Isn't that near Amber?"
"Ye--"
Not even finishing her sentence, Collei dashed, panic on her face--
--Only to be stopped by Hank.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Collei screamed, but Hank paid her no mind.
"Preventing you from killing yourself."
"Preven--Hank, people might die! If we don't move, then--!"
"Which is why you'd need my help."
"...Huh?"
Hank held a MEB, tilting her head to it. "I suggest you get a running start."
Collei didn't need to be told twice, quickly moving backwards. Slowly breathing in and out, dark tendrils encased her body, before settling at her feet. She quickly took off, jumping as Hank through the bomb upwards...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...And, at that moment, the roof suddenly caved upon the monster, being put into a rocky coffin. And, from the dust, two shales emerged.
"Hello again, Master." Hank waved mildly.
Collei, meanwhile, coughed while waving the dust away.
Getting out of it, Collei was about to speak when her eyes widened.
Amber.
The two stared at the other in silence, none saying a word...
...Until Amber gingerly took a step forward. Then, Collei took a step herself.
The two then walked quickly, and embraced the other tightly.
"Collei... a-am I...? Are you...?" Amber whispered, golden eyes watery. Collei looked at her, her own purple eyes glistering.
"Hi, Amber. It's..."
Amber hugged her friend even tighter, putting her face into Collei's shoulder. "It's you... It's you...! Collei!"
"...Yeah, it's me. Amber." hugging back, the two remained embracing the other for what felt like an eternity with the other...
...Until a loud bang brought them back to reality.
Everyone turned, and found a graceful Sandrone and their god, with you on your back.
"...Heya, kid." Phillip awkwardly greeted.
"Hey, Phillip!" you smiled back.
...
After a moment you then replied, "Well, that hurt."
Sandrone quirked a smile. "Whatever happened to--?"
Her smile then vanished. Eula's Claymore was incredibly close to her face, with the Lawrence glaring at her. "You..."
"...Ah. That's rather rude of you."
"Wait wait wait!" you quickly stood up, standing in-between the two. "She's working with us!"
"That's a rather strong term. I prefer temporary partnership."
"...A Fatuus?" Collei whispered.
"Unfortunately, yes; you're currently in the presence of The Marionette, Sandrone, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers."
"And that's meant to deter me?"
"Yes, heavily so, in fact--"
"Okay, look: Collei, you don't like the Fatui, fair enough; Phillip, you can be both a real help and a royal pain in my ass, stop being the latter and try being the former; and Eula, Sandrone? Try to not kill each other as I explain what the hell is happening to everyone."
And so, you did. After a moment, Amber sighed, laughing weakly. "Wow, guess you've been having a few adventures yourself huh, Collei?"
"Putting it lightly, yeah, heh..." Collei then looked at you. "What's the situation?"
"Well, it's something like this, but first; Phillip, does the name 'Hilaqiis' ring any bells?"
"Hilaqiis is here?" Phillip immediately looked on edge, his eyes growing wide.
"You know him?"
"Yeah... long ago, he was one of the Four Shades created by the God of Peace; The One True God, Llizel. Among them was Istaroth, Satanael, and Xenophillius. The latter being a unique case, as he was not created by Llizel, and was instead simply given a vessel for his soul."
"...That soul is yours, isn't it." your flat look didn't match the raised eyebrows of Sandrone, the confused expression of Collei, or even the unexpressive gaze of Hank.
"...Ouch. And here I was, ready to make a long speech about it... still, you're right. But, I'm not important. Who is, however, is why a certain someone has detached themselves from my soul, and Hilaqiis is general."
"How powerful is he?" Sandrone's question made Phillip let out another sigh.
"Bluntly, we're in for a long one."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The minutes that passed felt like seconds for you, and now, you find yourself in front of a large door.
"So, this Hilaqiis; what do you mean by a 'Shade'?" Eula queried, her hands on her Claymore.
"The Four Shades were the personal creations of Llizel; well, minus me, anyhow. They were the Goddess of Time, Istaroth, the Goddess of Wealth, Satanael, the God of Song, Xenophillius, and the God of Power, Hilaqiis."
"Power? In what sense?" Sandrone has stepped off of her Automaton, and had placed her hands together near her waist.
"In physical and mental sense. With that, I ask: do you really want to get involved in this?"
"...Phillip." Collei stood in front of him. "Do you doubt us?"
"No. But do you doubt yourself?"
Collei scoffed. "A little late for that. No, I don't. It's about high time I start working for myself, this... thing inside me be damned. Phillip, Hank, Amber, Eula, and even you, Harbinger. Let's, if only for this, work together."
"Whatever happened to 'Not forgiving the Fatui, might I ask?" Hank blinked.
"Hey, I'm able to grow. Besides, it's not this Marionette I hate: it's that fucking Doctor that I want to murder."
"You certainly aren't the first." Sandrone muttered. "Well, shall we?"
"Yes," you agreed, and opened the door. "Let's finish this long quest."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the other side, you saw Hilaqiis, and your first impression was desperation.
He was leaning on a throne made of stone, and on it, was a broken puppet that looked like you.
He didn't notice you all enter, he just continued crying.
"Hilaqiis." Phillip said, and the other god jumped, looking at him.
"Xenophillius...? But how, aren't you--?"
"My death was greatly exaggerated. I've been hanging around for a while, even after Celestia wiped Khaenri'ah of the face of Teyvat. Not only that, but some time ago, I felt Celestia use its influence to nearly kill our dear Llizel. Now, how could that happen?"
"..." Hilaqiis twisted his hand. "Forgive me."
You felt like you were floating, flying past red, blue, green, and finally, purple.
Landing on your feet, you heard two other feets of feet hit the ground. Looking over, it was Eula and Sandrone.
And, in front of you, was that thing from before, its form monstrous in size, letting out a roar of fury. It through its fist out at you, and you readied a shield--
--When it howled, retrieving its arm, as Sandrone tsked, a Geo Construct piercing its hand.
"No point standing around doing nothing!" Sandrone called, her hands now at her side.
"The one time I might agree with you, wretched woman..."
"Here it comes!" you yelled, its hand slamming down on the concrete, it tumbling into a void below, and you quickly got onto it.
"Keep it pinned down! I'll try and get to it!" the two nodded, and Geo and Cryo glowed behind you.
Meanwhile, like a blade of wind, Phillip ran up the monster's arms, its many others trying to crush him but failing to. As he approached the glowing core of it, a hand attempted to crush him, just as a black and purple snake launched itself at it, biting and tearing it off, dark blood spraying from it.
"Go!" he heard Collei scream. "Me and Hank will take care of the others!"
Running, he reached it, grabbing his greatsword...
Erstwhile, Hank was shooting down the arms while Collei used her Residue to combat them. The bracers certainly did its job; it didn't hurt her at all.
"Motherfucker saw the old man and ran. What, does he and Phillip have a bad track record?" Collei asked, using the her power to create twin snakes that divided and conquered a number of smaller and thinner arms.
"I'm afraid to say Master never told me; I was created 500 years ago, long after his time as a God."
"...Llizel above." the green-haired girl cursed, glaring at the monster. "Alright you piece of shit, let's see how smug you are after I send my snakes down your throat AND PULL OUR YOUR FUCKING HEART!"
"Vengeance will be mine!"
"Let it rain!"
Despite the heat of the flames and the chill of the frost, the arms persisted, and the monster only grew in anger.
"Shit, shit, shit!" you cursed. Damnit, that monster was starting to really piss you off... you needed help, but...
'Llizel.'
Time stopped. Not even the snowflakes or the embers moved, or even Phillip, who was mid-jump backwards, his face just about to turn into an annoyed frown.
"My, Hilaqiis certainly made a mess." came a voice, your voice, as they stood at your side. "I'm honesty quite surprised you needed my help."
Llizel, The God of Peace, looked like you, stood like you, sounded like you, but wasn't you; their left eye was a crystalline blue, shinning without any hatred or negative thoughts, while their right was a molten gold, that reflected their pride, their joy, their peace.
"I'd rather not risk it." you reply, holding your left hand. On it, was nothing. On Llizel's, a small wing tattoo. (To each their own, as they say.)
"Ah, playing it safe, hm? I can respect that."
"Aren't we the same?"
"We are. And, we are not. You may be me, but I am not you." Llizel's eyes never left yours, and they put their hand out. "Well, shall we?"
You passed them their staff. "Go stop this chaos, 'Zel."
"With pleasure, 'Me'."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A flash of gold light, a ripple of green, and a flurry of white surged all at once.
The golden light was Llizel descending, and using their staff to hold the beast in place while also allowing their mortal form to appear in the real world, and attempt to stop Hilaqiis.
The green was from Collei. She may not have faith in the gods, despite being friends with the God of Teyvat themselves, and yet her ambition was shown clear to them: 'Protect and Grow'.
At that moment, either through sheer irony or a true show of will, a glowing green or appeared in Collei's hands, and vines with the sharpest thorns sprung forth, clearing a way for the white light. In addition, the bandages had all but been destroyed, showing hardened scales on her body, and sheer determination in her indigo eyes.
The white light was formed alongside other lights; Amber, firing a barrage of arrows; Eula, unleashing a large slash to the beast; Sandrone, using her mechanical guardian to shoot missiles at it; and Hank, who joined Phillip, and the two ran up the monster's body towards the sickly green core on its head.
Hank grabbed Phillip and, using her strength, threw him upwards. "Now!"
"STOP HIDING, COWARD!" the immortal roared, and as his blade cleaved the core in two, a light engulfed all of them...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Golden chains rapped around Hilaqiis, just as a light appeared and your friends stepped out.
"Just remember," Llizel whispered, standing by you, "It's our staff."
"Alright, let's start off simple," Phillip slowly made his way over to Hilaqiis, as his violet-turning-indigo meeting the God of Power's crimson. "Why do you insist on trying to kill not only us, but a Shade of Llizel and their mortal self?"
"...We have gone a long, long time without seeing our God, Xenophillius. Don't you think it's high time we--?"
BANG!
Everyone, especially Collei, jumped as Hank fired a bullet straight into his head, crimson blood exploding outwards.
"A fake." Hank simply stated.
"Yeah, I gathered; Hilaqiis wasn't the brightest, even next to Satanael, but even still... I guess that means our friends upstairs did all this."
"So that Elemental signature was a fake?" Sandrone was, once again, sat upon the hand of a Ruin Guard. Where it came from, you don't know.
"Yes and no; no, because it was a genuine one, but yes, as it was simply a copy of Hilaqiis', made by the ones up there."
"...Sorry, up where?" Eula had placed her Claymore back into the... place the characters put their weapons.
It was Collei who answered, oddly enough. "He means Celestia. Speaking of them," she put out her palm, which in it held a Dendro Vision, glowing brightly. "Thanks a lot, dickheads!"
"Wait, you have a Vision?" Amber smiled, putting her thumbs up. "Isn't that good? You have the power to protect yourself!"
"I had enough with this, thanks." at 'this', she had put her arms up, showing the bracers and the scales surrounding them.
"Ah, that..." Llizel muttered, then looked at you. "That staff may be from here, but don't forget the spells and powers you yourself gained."
You looked at them confused, before it suddenly clicked. "Wait, Collei, keep your arms up."
"Why? Want to admire them or something?" she dryly remarked, but then looked more confused as you placed the Staff of Llizel in front of them.
Slowly, a light began to accumulate near its tip, which then flowed down onto Collei's arms, which glowed a radiant silver before fading.
"There," you said, smiling at her. "That should hopefully prevent it from spreading."
"...You cured me?" Collei whispered, eyes wide in wonderment at how easy it was, and denial, as was it really that easy?
"No, they simply paused it; you may still experience symptoms similar to arthritis, but it is better than permanent paralysis, yes?"
"A~nd there goes the happy moment." Phillip groaned, making a noise between a sigh and a laugh. "Remind me to teach you how to read emotions better, ay?"
Hank just smiled, ignoring her master.
Amber also smiled, but more in exasperation. "Even still... what now?"
"Well, I can warp you two back to Mondstadt easily. Sandrone probably has their own way back, although I ask of her one favour before she does so, and it's to give this letter to someone only they can reach," he paused, giving a sealed letter to Sandrone, who nodded, before the Ruin Guard made its way out of the door.
"Next, I might go and figure some stuff out, like the whole thing with Chiyo--yes, Makoto is able to speak again, I assume it was because of interference she could not communicate with me--, the kid will probably want to explore Teyvat, the curious little shite they are, and..."
"If I may, Master," Hank gestured to Collei. "Perhaps we should allow Collei to travel with the God of Peace's mortal form? That way, she might be able to return to Sumeru while also being able to visit Amber."
"...Hm. What says you two?"
"Can I get rid of this?" Collei asked, about the Vision.
"Nope, but take it from me; any power is better than none at all; besides, being able to use it against the people who gave you it? I say that's a good thing."
"...Fine, I'll think about it."
"No complaints here!" you smiled.
"Well, no arguments?" hearing none, Phillip smiled a genuine smile. "Then, let us be off."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Well, who knows?" Phillip said, smiling at you. "More tales might arise. There's still Loux's to finish, so for now: thank you for reading this little adventure, no matter how tedious or odd it might have been. Until next time, let the earth whisper its secrets, and for you to grow. Hm? Grow into what? Well... that's up to you. It's your life, after all!"
Early To Bed, And You'll Miss All The Fun.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, you officially hate Phillip. Joking, but you're incredibly close to killing him.
-
It was bad enough that you discovered a secret passage way into a long array of tunnels, but even worse when you found... something.
-
It was made of what looked like ink, and when it saw you and your staff, it took an immediate disliking towards you.
-
And now? You're running away as fast as you can, and also wondering what in the hell it is anyway.
-
Turning a corner of the desolate tunnels, and then a sharp right, the monster was hot on your heels until it fell into your trap; a piece of the floor was caved in, and the ink fell through. Not turning back, you continued on, using your staff to create help you levitate.
-
'What's Collei and Hank up to?' you thought. Probably having a more fun time then you, at least.
-
Oh, random trivia: you've apparently arrived in Genshin five or so months before the Traveler wakes up.
-
How about them apples, hm?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Collei was beginning to get slightly disturbed by Hank's robotic eye.
-
Granted, she knows the android can't really help that, but the more she became aware of it, the more the green-haired girl noticed how much of Hank's body moved. As in, the body's 'skin' itself.
-
Sometimes, when the two are out of the view of those in the Harbour, Hank stops to ponder... something. Maybe something from Khaenri'ah, or just something entirely normal, but Collei is made acutely aware of her face plates moving. And, along with her being able to sometimes see the sleeping face of Chiyo, she always finds herself looking away, shivering in misplaced disgust.
-
Thankfully, Hank caught on to it, and made sure to always look away from her.
-
Back out in the open, Collei took a moment to look around; from merchants and stall owners, to even the plays and the restaurants, Liyue Harbour truly was different from Mondstadt.
-
"It's much more colourful than what my nation was like; although, I daresay you're not interested in this old woman's tales."
-
Even through her mask, at Hank's deadpan voice, Collei immediately scoffed. "No offense, but you look only twenty or so; and besides, I'm always curious about your nation."
-
Hank blinked, and then smiled. "Hm. You're too kind, Collei. Though, since you insist..."
-
She gestured to the street. "Everything was underground, with only the light we made helping us. We whispered, as to not gather attention of those wishing harm on us, and we commonly dressed in blues, blacks, whites and greys, and almost always bore our masks. It was... depressing. Stagnant, even."
-
"...But you wouldn't trade it for anything else, would you?"
-
"Of course; it's the only life I knew."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh dear."
-
"What do you mean, 'Oh dear'?!"
-
Phillip continued to look downwards from where he stood, humming as he did so. "It seems that someone has been here in recent years... odd, given that I never recall telling anyone about this place."
-
"Wait, you made this place?" Amber's instincts told her that, good intentions aside, Phillip is definitely someone she should watch out for. Eula was less... subtle, but at least she's being careful, right?
-
"Well, sort of; I just added a pillar or twelve here, a secret passage there. Although, given that there's something... else here, it brings about the question of who decided to break and enter this place."
-
"...What do you mean, 'else'?" Eula looked down as well, before recoiling in confusing. "What on Teyvat is that?!"
-
Curious, Amber peered down as well, and saw... well, she wasn't sure what it was; it appeared human-like, although with its gloopy appearance, claws and hideously stretched smile, the similarities fell through incredibly fast.
-
It also seemed to have noticed them. It looked up at them, tilting its head...
-
And then it roared, with Phillip quickly shouting, "Run!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"...Is something wrong?"
-
"No. And, if I do this..."
-
Hank was in a corner, just near the harbor, with Collei standing next to her, the latter watching the former tinker with something in their hands.
-
"Finished. Here," standing up, Hank put her hand out and presented Collei with two, identical bracelets; they were thin, but could encompasses her hand up to her elbow. "These are for you."
-
"...Thank you?" Collei wasn't used to gifts but, as she slipped them on, she'll admit that they're at least comfortable. "What are they for?"
-
"Given the abnormal output that the Archon Residue inside you gathers and releases, I have made those in order to control the flow more easy."
-
"...You know something?" Collei rubbed her hair, as she began to lean on a nearby wall--
-
--Only to yelp as she fell through, and scrambled up to face a dark tunnel, leading down.
-
"...Hold that thought." Hank advised.
Trust Amongst The Exiles of Teyvat.
VEC (Very Exquisite Chocolate): @chocoenvy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was past noon when your feet began to hurt from walking so much.
You didn't understand it: you looked like a God that you never heard of before, and you somehow managed to get to Genshin Impact as well.
You've read the Isekai stories like My Next Life as a Villainess, of course, but in those stories they're protagonists, not antagonists.
And, well... let's just say you've never thought you'd see Amber with such hate in her expression.
"What to do, what to do..." you mused to yourself, walking absentmindedly away from Mondstadt. You thought you saw a Domain to your right, but you could've been wrong--
'Eh?'
Standing a few feet away from you was another person. They bore an assortment of bandages on them, encasing them akin to a mummy, along with unkempt green hair and dark purple eyes. They also looked at you with a wary look in said eyes.
...You remember a certain someone having purple eyes, but who's this? You know you've seen them before, but from where is the question.
In the end, you walked up to them and said, "Hi, nice to meet you!" just as they said, "The hell do you want, creep?"
You both stopped and looked at each other, blinking.
...Then, you let out a wheeze, which eventually led to you bending over in laughter. At this point, you'd take anything to laugh for a minute or two, even at the current dichotomy.
The bandaged person was looking at you with a quizzically-confused expression and, as you started to stop, decided to ask the important question: "Are... you okay?"
You let out a final laugh, wiping a tear away from your eye. "Sorry, I really needed a laugh, that's all. I'm also sory if I creeped you out, it's just you remind of someone I know."
They nodded slowly, albeit still suspicious: you did, after all, say they looked familiar, and that already set off alarm bells... and yet, your expression and laugh were both genuine, and had no I'll intent. In the end, they said, "Well, if you're trying to reach Mondstadt, you're going the wrong way."
"Exactly: I need to get myself far away from there as possible."
That caught their attention. "Why's that?" they asked, before cringing at themselves. "Er, I mean--"
You waved them off, a small, bitter smile on your face. "Well, for one reason or the other, they really don't like the fact I'm, I quote, 'wearing the face of Their Grace'. Trust me when I say I have no clue what they mean." you added that last bit on hastily.
The green-haired Sumeruin (you think? Her clothing looks like the NPCs, anyway--) looked at you with narrowed eyes, nodding. "Well, you do look like them, but hey, doesn't that bard look like Barbados?"
"Exactly!" You reply in exasperation, before pinching your nose, sighing to calm yourself. "Anyways; sorry if I'm annoying you, I... just haven't had the chance to talk to someone. Well, civilly, anyways." you laugh to yourself.
"...It's..." they looked around, trying to think of what to say. "...Been some time since I last spoke to someone, too."
"Really? I guess that makes two of us.* you then wave your hand. "Still, better than trying to talk with the Fatui, I guess."
The scoffed at you, looking offended. "What, you're saying that you like those lot?"
"What? No! I mean, for god's sake, I'm trying trying to go about my day when all of a sudden I hear 'PaY yOUr DuES!'" you mock, throwing your hands up. "Honestly, it gets so annoying!"
The Sumeruin looked at you for a few seconds... before letting out a small giggle.
"Well, if anything, I'm glad to meet someone I can talk shit about the Fatui about." they then put a hand forwards. "I'll admit that I'm putting a lot in the table trusting someone, but... well, anyone hating the Fatui so openly is something that I respect. If I may, what's your name? Mine is..." they paused again, before shrugging. "Eh, it'll be fine; Collei."
You nodded, smiling, and shook Collei's hand as well. "Nice to meet you, Collei! My name is--"
"Well, I'll be..."
You whipped around in a panic, ready to run--
But them froze at a familiar figure: dark purple eyes that became paler further down, pure-white hair, and an unimaginable amount of flare encasing his tall, effeminate figure, with a masked... assassin(?) at his side.
"No way..." you say softly, ignoring Collei's confused stare, and instead spoke his name: "Loux?"
He laughed warmly at that. "Now there's a name I missed: nah, I go by Phillip nowadays, and you..."
He laughed again, walking forwards. "Well, you're certainly someone I haven't seen for a couple of millennias."
You went quiet again, before Collei asked, "I'm sorry, who?"

A Brief Inconvenience.
Warnings: Slight language and violence, but that's to be expected, honestly--
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Hank came back online, the first thing she did was to stretch, yawn, and to update her objectives.
First order of business: wake up Phillip.
...However, judging by his smiling face, he was having a conversation with his previous selves. Given that he has been Reincarnated six-times over, the Automation isn't surprised that's he'll be conversing with one of them.
You, on the other hand... Hank detected a large spike in your heard rate, and your odd expression; not enough to be a nightmare, but certainly something disturbing.
Walking over, she placed a hand on your head, and closed her eyes.
While she opened them slowly, they then flew open once she saw what was around her.
It was Watatsumi Island, but destroyed beyond human comprehension; the sky was of a blood red, storms raged in the distance... the pure blue water made for a highly irregular atmosphere.
You were looking around yourself, and when you spotted an actual, lucid Hank, you breathed a huge sigh of relief.
"What happened...?" even Hank was mystified by the environment.
"I--I don't know?!" you stuttered out, wildly looking around the ruined Sangonomiya Shrine, and then realising something. "Wait-- Hank, are you actually here? Like, you got inside of my dream?"
"Yes. I am able to access the Mental Palaces of people--that is, their consciousness--and therefore their dreams and nightmares by extension." Hank walked forwards, her uncovered face looking at you. "Do you have any ideas as to why you dreamt this place?"
"That's gotta be a 'no' from me, sorry." still, this dream is like a bad ending for a game... could it be that... "This is a glimpse of a future."
"Elaborate." Hank immediately replied, her fake eye spinning in complete and utter confusion even while her face was expressionless.
"I'm... apparently the God of Teyvat: Llizel, The God of Peace." again, you privately add, "And to be honest, visions of the future was probably going to happen one way or the other."
"...Understood, mostly. Even still, why did--?"
Whatever Hank was going to as was cut of from a shocked voice from behind you. "Your Grace...?"
You both turned around, and you let out a gasp.
It was Kokomi... or, at least, you thought she was; one of her eyes was missing, and so was her arm. When she looked at you, she stumbled forwards, before getting down into a kneel, hugging your legs.
"I'msorryi'msorryi'msorryi'msorryi'm--" she mindlessly repeated these words like a manta.
You stood away from her in surprise, helping her back up. "Kokomi? What happened?"
She looked up at you, scrambling to her feet. "Y-You mean, you don't know?"
"Know what?" what, did you did or something?
"You died... I saw you get executed, but--how are you here?"
"To us, this is but a lucid dream," Hank explained from your side. "But from the way you speak, I am to assume this is a timeline wherein the Creator dies?"
Kokomi nodded, swallowing a lump in her throat, just as your vision began to get blurry.
"Please, for all that it's worth, save--!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You awoke with a gasp, leaning up and looking at the owl-eyed Hank.
"What... what the hell was that?" you eventually say, still breathing heavily from the thought of a one-eyed Kokomi.
Hank's eye... thing was going in different directions before she eventually shook her head. "I am unsure; although, I wouldn't be surprised if it were a vision of the future, given what Phillip had told me."
Despite the panic you had, you chuckled. "Yeah, I thought he'd say something about that..."
When you finally got up and dressed, you walked out to see Mimi, Phillip and Collei already awake, and five breakfasts on a table. You, in your tired state, couldn't be bothered to identify them, only to collapse on a chair and groan heavily as the others sat down.
"Nightmares?" Collei asked your side, and you gave a nod. "I don't blame you; it happens often to everyone, even the happiest people in the world."
"Speaking from experience?" Phillip asked.
"Maybe. What's it to you?"
"Phillip often suffers from insomnia due to his fear of nightmares; although, I daresay that he had a good sleep, given the lack of bags under his eyes." Hank spoke up (who, you noticed, is actually able to eat and digest food.)
"You still have them?" Mimi asked worried, but Phillip waved it off.
"Eh, they don't effect me much; I mean, they're not my memories, to be honest. Besides, even if I do, I make sure not to dwell on them much."
"Yeah, right..." you mumbled, but the one in question turned to you with a baffled expression.
"I--what's that supposed to mean?!"
Collei attempted to hide her laughter, snickering under her breath.
'Eh, could have worse company...'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, funny story:
Mimi had given you a well-crafted staff, apparently called the 'Staff of Llizel', which held the power of the Elements in Teyvat. From the name, you guessed that... well, you, as Llizel, made it, given it's exactly like the other versions of Staff you've had.
Next, she told you that she sadly couldn't leave Enkanomiya due to... well, Celestia. So, after a hug and a 'farewell, for now', you and the other three teleported to the Statue of The Seven near the Dawn Winery so you could make your way to Liyue and continue with Fuck-Wit MeGee's 'Around the World in Around 8 Days'...
...Only to meet a certain, vengeance-wanting woman with amazing thighs. Like, damn, what does she do to get them?
"Oh, hello again!" Phillip cheerfully said, waving to her. "It's nice to--"
He then sliced a shard of ice clean in two, causing you to blink as you didn't even see him grab his katana from its sheath.
"You think this is funny to you?" Eula snapped, her eyes colder than her Vision.
"Well, I was apart of Her Majesty's comedy once, but..." he sighed. "I guess it's time to get this over with, hm?"
You blinked, and Eula and Phillip met in the middle, swords crossed. Eula backflipped, unleashing a wave of frost towards Phillip--
--But he simply cut them clean into pieces, and launched himself upwards to slice at her; while his blade missed, his leg didn't, and Eula came crashing to the ground.
Phillip landed near you, but then wasn't, being sent backwards towards the lake with the Cryo Slimes. You looked at Collei and, using your Staff, used Anemo to propel yourselves to the dueling sword-users.
Wait. If it's only you and Collei, then where's--?
Suddenly, bullets rained down upon Eula and, as she landed, Hank pointed two honest-to-God Flintlock pistols at the Cryo user.
"If you're quite done, Miss Lawrence?" Hank questioned, her mask hiding her true expression. "We're quite the way behind on our timetable, after all."
Eula then did something that surprised you: she nodded. "Completely; I suppose I'll just need to eliminate the problem quickly, then."
She then charged at Phillip, but you reacted by jumping in front of him--
--And, suddenly, Eula's expression changed from confusion, to shock, to complete and utter horror.
At the same time, you lost all feeling in your left hand. Your vision blurred and, the next thing you know, your now stump of a hand is being held by Phillip, who's holding on to you with panic fading from his eyes.
"Kid, don't worry, it's alright, you'll regenerate." he said quietly to you, his six lives-worth of parental instincts coming to help him. "Don't worry, just breathe kid, breathe."
You heeded his advice, and started to, at first, gasp for air, but quickly changed into a steady pattern.
Meanwhile, while you and Phillip were calming each other down, a different story was unfolding a few feet away from you.
Eula looked distressed. Collei appeared confused. Hank looked unamused.
"Have you realised your errors now, Lawrence?" she asked, as she twirled her pistols before placing them into holsters on her hips.
"I--wait--huh?" Collei stuttered, looking at the golden blood on the now extremely distressed Spindrift Knight's Claymore and you. "Are you trying to say, that the person I spent punching and snapping at, is the fucking Creator of Teyvat?!"
"Yes, they are: Phillip wanted to keep it secret either until we reached Liyue or the one locked away's wounds are treated, but I suppose someone here was impatient, hm?"
Eula was shaking, looking at you with an expression of fear, worry, and slight unhingmemt. "Y-Your Grace?"
You rolled your eyes, coughing up blood. "You literally cut my arm off, and now you're worshipping me as Llizel again?" you looked up at Phillip and sighed. "Double standards, am I right?"
"Oh, like you have no idea..."
"I... I didn't...! H-How could I...?!" Eula violently shook her head, looking at her sword, then you, and repeated it until Hank grabbed her shoulders.
"I will say this once, and only once, Lawrence," she said, as she removed her mask and gazed into Eula's eyes. "Go and tell Jean what happened here, and perhaps, when we come back, we'll forgive you."
With how fast Eula sprinted back to Mondstadt as soon as Hank said the word 'forgive', you're surprised that her Passive isn't an increase to her speed in the game.
Looking back, you looked at your arm. Or, what's left of it, as you looked back at Phillip. "You said it'll regenerate, right?" a nod, "Is it because I'm basically God?" another nod.
Looking back at the Automation and the Sumeruin, you gave a nervous chuckle. "I guess I've got some explaining to do, huh?"
"I'm sure it's a wonderful tale, but save it for later." Collei cut you off, sounding annoyed but her smile said otherwise. She offered you her hand. "'Sides, I've got even more reason to believe you now."
"Why, because I'm your Creator?" you grabbed her hand and pulled yourself up, looking down to look at the bandaged girl.
"No, because you're just a dumbass."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"..." as the others were sitting on the ground conversing with each other, he found his mind elsewhere.
'You seem to be troubled, Phillip,' a womanly voice flowed through his mind, causing Phillip to slightly jump in surprise. 'Whatever is the matter?'
'Oh, Toto.' Phillip mentally replied, absentmindedly gazing around what was left of the Guili Plains. 'You gave me a fright. But, to answer... I suppose I've just been thinking a lot more as of late.'
A small chuckle escaped her non-existant lips. 'I don't blame you; a lot has happened in just a small amount of time, far more than these last five hundred years, hm?'
'Indeed it has. If you don't mind, I'll be visiting you now.'
He briefly closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, he found himself in awe.
The plains had shifted into an endless sea of flowers, all a gentle blue. The sky was a purple that put his mind at ease, and the clouds were floating without a care in the world. And, at the centre of it all, was a giant cherry blossom tree, its branches many and overlapping.
As he walked towards it, a figure materialised in front of it; a woman with purple hair, holding an umbrella, who turned around to face the person she shares a body with.
"You know, I've always found it odd," Raiden Makoto said, as she sat down beside the tree and gestured from Phillip to a spot next to her. "Gods are always taken by erosion, and yet, you still persist without even the slightest amount of uncomfortableness or mental decay. Why is that?"
Phillip sat down beside the former Electro Archon and raised a brow. "You're able to see my memories, right?" he shook his head, pulling his knee up and lent his arm across it. "Still, it's probably due to both my being... very used to living for an extremely long time, along with this body of mine being made by Lli--the Creator themselves."
"That does make sense." Makoto sounded like she wanted to say more, but stopped abruptly, opting instead to gaze at the flowers being blown by the gentle winds.
"Still, who would've--could've--predicted what happened five hundred years ago?" Phillip said, mostly to himself, them faced the previous Electro Archon. "I know I said akin to a broken record by now, but--"
"Stop, Phillip," she put her hand up, and Phillip's mouth quickly closed. "No one, not even Celestia, could've predicted what happened five hundred years ago; not to mention, you won our duel with honour and fairness."
Phillip nodded. He looked over at the flowers, before realising what they were. "Gladioli?"
Makoto gave him a smile. "I may or may not have looked through your memories and found out your love for them. So, I decided to reconstruct them here and, from your reaction, I'd say you like them."
"I do, yes. Thanks..." that last word always sounded... odd to him. Maybe be he hasn't said it in a long time?
He looked up again, and closed his eyes, waving goodbye to Makoto. When he opened them, he got up to walk over to the others--
When, all of a sudden, his hand flew to his swords handle, whipping around.
"Phillip?" you asked, walking towards the white-haired swordsman. "Is something--?"
"Stay back; there's someone watching us." he replied instantly, his eyes still searching, before he let go of his sword. You noticed, however, that his hand was still twitching.
"I guess it was--"
He cut himself off, grabbing his sword and swinging just as a spear nearly pierced his heart. Pushing the attacker off him, you realised who it was.
Xiao. The Conqueror of Demons. A fucking Adeptus.
"Alatus?" Phillip questioned, as Xiao got back into a pouncing position. "I thought you died centuries ago."
The Yaksha didn't reply in words, but in action; he dashed towards him, but Phillip sidestepped and, quickly unlocking the katana(?), sliced at him--
But then entered a bladelock with his opponent, with Phillip's eyes rapidly going over him.
'Tense, like he's trying to protect something rather than kill. Did he figure it out, I wonder?' Phillip thought to himself, kicking Xiao back.
"You know, it's rude to attack people out of nowhere, Alatus!" Phillip almost sounded like a dad. "Then again, I can't talk..." he muttered to himself.
Xiao plunged, and Phillip went to block, only for the Yaksha to vanish. Phillip turned around, too late to block the spear--
"Amp it up!" a female voice shouted.
The sound of a guitar was then heard, as fire surrounded the two.
"Shit!" Xiao cursed, glaring at Phillip. "Evil Con--!"
"No."
With a sharp punch to the back of his head, the Yaksha fell over unceremoniously, leading to you and everyone else to look at the unexpected character.
Xinyan chuckled, rubbing her arm. "I'm... guessin' that had nothin' to do with me?"
"No, but still, thanks for that." Phillip quickly recovered. Collei, however, did not.
"I'm sorry, but what in the fuck did I just witness?"
"An extremely short, fast-paced duel that ended with I knocking out the Adeptus known as 'Alatus'. Furthermore, Alatus seemed to want to kill Phillip in order to protect someone here, judging from his body language. Finally, were it not for the timely entry of the newest person here, Phillip may have been mortally injured."
'And I'm not?' you jokingly thought, looking down at your arm stump.
"Huh, is that so... well, in any case, the name's Xinyan; it's nice to meet ya!" Xinyan introduced herself, smiling all the while.
Well, on the bright side, someone you actually recognise, and really like as a character.
A good trade offer, if you do say so yourself.

The Beginning of a Strategy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the time of the Eclipse Dynasty, the name 'Xenophillius Tungsten' was well-known throughout the whole of Khaenri'ah.
A master alchemist, who is known for his research into the seven elements of Teyvat, the creation of H.A.N.K., and his ability to wield the power of Geo without a Vision. In addition, his sword, 'The Earth-Shaker', is known for being able to absorb the elements around him thanks to the combined efforts of him, Royal Alchemist Rhinedottir, and His Majesty, King Ophanim.
What is most notable, however, is his lack of worship to The Divine Creator; he may attend worship every Saturday or so, but beyond that? He doesn't exactly care for them.
And, it seems, for a good reason as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The earth was shaking more, Phillip noted.
As someone who's lived multiple lives, he would think that he'd seen it all by now: he's been a mage, a god, the father of a god, bard, a freedom-fighter, a Giant, a wizard, a god again, and now an alchemist.
And yet, as he watched the white-haired women cursing to herself, he found himself humbly amused by it once again.
"Having fun, Dotty?"
Rhinedottir jumped and whipped around, hissing through her teeth, "By the Creator, Xeno! Learn to make a noise before talking!"
Xenophillius looked at her, raising a brow at her.
"Oh for-- fine, then; Philip." she corrected herself in annoyance. "What do you need, anyways? I take it that you'd never go outside the Palace just to see me."
Philip rolled his eyes. "Ophanim wanted to see you and that 'Rifthound' project You're working on."
"The King?!" she yelled at him, blueish-grey eyes now glaring at him. "Why didn't you say that first?!"
"Dotty."
"Don't you 'Dotty' me you--" she muttered angrily underneath her breath. Then, oddly, she looked up. "What was that?"
"That," Philip replied, "Might be a group of certain someones who are here to kill us all."
"How are you calm?!"
"I'm not!" he flung his arms out, walking backwards towards the door. "Anyways-- when, you're ready, meet me outside; we've got to meet with King Ophanim in an hour's time."
Rhinedottir glared at him, before groaning into her hands, unaware of the approaching footsteps going towards her.
"Master? Is something--?"
"Albedo, don't."
(Just something I wrote when I was bored. Any thoughts?)

Hearts of Iron, Souls of Tungsten.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next ten minutes was spent explaining many, many, many things, and you got plenty of information out of it, too:
Phillip is Loux Corcea Gladiolus, a former friend of yours back when your first Iskeai: however, while Loux was Reincarnation Number Three, Phillip is Reincarnation Number Six.
The mask-wearing assassin at his side is the 'Humanlike Automation Nebula Kaleidoscope', abbreviated to 'H.A.N.K.', or just Hank. Despite the name, the Automation is female.
As it turns out, you did remember Collei: she was from the Genshin Manga. But, it didn't make any sense; after all, she took off her bandages at the end of the manga, so why does she have them on again?
You pondered that last one for quite a while, even after the four of you were walking forwards into the forest near the first Statue of the Seven the Traveler comes across. When you stopped, it was because Collei and Phillip stopped as well.
"What do you mean, 'my eyes tell a tale?'" the girl raised a brow, staring upwards at the absurdly tall man. (Like, seriously, is he 6'7?).
"Everyone has a tale to tell: to put it simply, I can see them through people's eyes." Phillip explained, as he started to walk forwards again. "It's why I like getting to know people more; I get to find out if their eyes aren't deceiving me."
Collei gave him a long, hard look. "You're the weirdest person I think I've ever talked to..."
"Thanks, I try." he laughed.
From you side, Hank seemed to be curious... you think. It's hard to see through that mask of her's. She, however, didn't question the scene in front of her.
"Say, Collei?" you ask gently, and the girl looked at you with a 'hm?' to show she's listening. "I was wondering... why did you decide to trust me?"
She stopped, turned to face you, and shrugged. "I'll be completely honest: I don't know. Or, more like, I don't know yet."
"Happens to the best of us, I'll tell ya." Phillip replied. He then turned to face you. "So, where you taking us?"
You blinked owlishly. "Wait, I thought you was the one leading us?"
"...We're lost, are we not?" Hank dry response was as monotonous as you expected, honestly.
"No, no." Phillip waved his arms, looking around. "If I remember correctly, we should be far enough now for us to test a theory of mine."
"...Is it to do with me?" you don't even know why you asked; you already knew the answer.
"Well, that depends if your able to use the Teleport Waypoints or not, but--"
"I-I'm sorry, the what?" Collei looked at you two with an expression that screamed 'I call bullshit'. "Wait--go back a sec; how did you two even meet?"
Now, there was a nice memory: the one where he was a ghost, sustained by his own lightning. Speaking of which...
"Can you still control lightning, Phillip?" to your surprise, he shook his head.
"I'm afraid not, kiddo: the most I can do now is this." he placed his hand in front of him, opened his hand, and gems appeared above it, floating in a circle. "I can control all manner of the earth. Useful in many situations, but I'm sorry to say I can't make earthquakes yet."
Collei looked at him (and so did Hank), and she raised a brow. "You've got a Vision?"
"Nope." Phillip's reply was quick, simple and straight to the point.
"...But you just controlled Geo." it took you all you had not to laugh at Collei's deadpanned expression.
"I did. The only ones I have are in my sword," he pointed to the large blade on his back, "And, well, they're not mine, anyway."
You coughed, trying to avoid another headache, and looked at Phillip. "How on earth do I access Teleport Waypoints?"
"And they are?" Collei started to look really annoyed now, so you tried to explain it, but Phillip took the initiative.
"You know those blue floating pillar things? Well, I think, think, our pal here can teleport to them, with us following suit."
"And you're sure that that's safe?"
"I never said anything about safety."
"So why should I risk my ass with--"
A loud ticking noise sounded to your right, and Hank suddenly looked at Phillip. "The Knights are on our trail."
"Because if we don't, we'll get our asses killed!" Phillip now looked at you with urgency.
Shaking your head, you concentrated. Usually, that's how teleportation works, right? "Any place in particular?"
"Enkanomiya; the Dainchi Mikoshi, if you can!"
You thought, concentrated on the massive tower in the middle...
And suddenly, you hear Collei gasp. "Where are we?!"
Looking up, you faced the tower, and immediately looked away due to it being in Whitenight.
Then, you realise something else:
Phillip and Hank aren't with you.
--------------------------------------------------
Phillip was old, even he can admit it. But, even still, he knew his way around his sword like he was still in his first life.
He was staring into the lake, Hank at his side, and thoughts in his head.
Most notably, that he finally met you again, after all these years.
For you, it must have been only a few months, maybe more, but for him? It's been literal millennias since he last saw you.
And, well, call him soft, but he won't care; it was nice to see you again. More than that, but he could never find the right words for it.
Was he annoyed that he was left behind? No, not really; it was a first time thing for everyone, including that girl. A girl who, from what he could tell, has the power beyond that of a normal Vision, but he didn't have the time to ponder such things.
...Especially when he heard numerous footsteps behind him, and the call of, "Halt!"
He sighed, stood up, and clapped. "Congrats, you found me. Want a prize or something?"
"Do not act so coy! Where are they?!" they demanded, but Phillip simply gazed around.
"You know, it's quite rude to speak about someone without using their name, you know." he remarked, placing his hands in front of him. "Besides, this is the Land of Freedom, is it not? Therefore, I have the freedom to not say a single word about--"
He moved his body to the side just as an icicle whizzed by, and when he looked from the direction it came from, he raised a brow.
The woman in front of him, holding a Claymore, glared at him. "I suggest you talk, heretic."
From his side, Hank spoke. "That is Captain Eula Lawrence, The Spindrift Knight: no offense, but even you couldn't take on her own by yourself, Phillip."
At that, the white-haired man nodded; it was a shame, really. Normally, the diplomatic approach works...
And, with a shrug, snapped his fingers.
From the ground, pillars erupted, quickly surrounding the Knights. Of course, they can be broken easily, but their appearance makes it seem otherwise.
And people say that Geo and its abilities aren't fun. 'Jokes on them.' Phillip thought to himself. 'Still, a pity that Lawrence believes them; she seems to be an interesting character.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey, I'm back, what did we miss?"
With your neck almost cracking, you looked at Phillip and Hank, with the former causally waving at you.
"Well, someone took their sweet time!" Collei sarcastically shouted, adjusting her bandages. "What took you, the Knights giving you a bit too much trouble?"
"No, they were incased within a Geo Construct; it was the fact he couldn't stop taunting them that took too much time." Hank said simply, looking at the tall swordsman. "Speaking of which, why on earth did you choose here of all places?"
From your's and Collei's looks, you three were still unable to rap your heads around Phillip's thought process.
"Well, for once, I had a plan; there's someone I want us to meet. Please, follow me." he gestured, and started walking away from the tower.
Sighing heavily, you followed the madman.
While walking, Collei started to talk to you. "You know, I'm surprised you haven't asked me about it yet."
"About what?" you assume it's her bandages, and she confirms it.
"My bandages. Back when I was traveling, I got asked about it almost everywhere I went. So, I just thought you'd do the same."
You shook your head. "Gonna be honest, we all have secrets we'd rather keep to ourselves. You've got to be wearing them for s reason that's not related to me, right?"
Collei nodded slowly, before stopping and staring at you with a hard gaze. "Okay, cut the crap; why are you being nice?"
"Common curtsey?" came your immediate (and, technically correct) response.
Collei, however, only snorted. "Yeah, right."
"I'm being sincere; I mean, there's plenty of stuff I want to ask to those two," you jabbed your thumb at the two in question, "But I don't want to be rude."
Collei went quiet, her eyes darting around every few seconds, before she finally huffed. "Fine, I'll at least try to believe you." she pointed a finger at you, her eyes a vortex of the deepest purple. "But the second I find you're lying? I'll make sure that your life will become worse than a living hell."
You nodded. "I'll make sure you won't regret it, Collei. I mean, I'd rather not lose the only other Fatui hater I know, honestly."
She huffed again, but not out of annoyance this time. "Fair enough."
A thought them crossed your mind, and you called to Phillip. When he came hither, he looked at you with a knowing look.
"You're curious about the real reason as to why I said to bring us here, yes?" at your nod, he smiled. "Well, a friend of mine, who may or may not be able to control time, was able to keep someone I know alive and well: now, here's the thing; you know about... well, you-know-what, right?"
"I do. What, they'll help to defuse the situation?"
"Yes, in a way; she has something that'll help you defend yourself, and I have a way to make everyone's opinion on you do a one-eighty."
Now that was the best news you've heard all day. Although... "Do they have a place for us to sleep? Because, well..."
"Don't worry, she promised me it, and she never goes back in them." and coming from someone who literally tricked even Gods, you still had your doubts.
When he finally stopped, it was near the edge of the island, off to the southeast. He went over to the wall in front of him, and pushed against it.
The wall then moved, similar to those moving bookshelves you've seen in movies, and what greeted you made you do a double take.
There, sitting in the middle of the (surprisingly well-preserved) room, was Mimi.
You looked at Phillip, but he gave you a sideways look of 'Just go with it, kid.'
When the prototype model of Kokomi looked up, she smiled at you all. "Ah, you've returned unharmed. I do hope your journey here wasn't too unpleasant?"
"It was confusing, I'll tell you that much." Collei remarked, and Mimi giggled at her.
"My, aren't you straightforward? But, yes; even I can admit it's not exactly the most pleasant route." she clasped her hands, gazing her ocean-blue eyes to Phillip's purple. "I take it that they know who I am?"
He nodded, looking at you with a subtle 'You better' look. You replied, "You're... Mimi, right?"
Mimi smiled more, her shoulders now less tense. "Ah, I'm glad. Indeed, I am Sangonomiya Mimi, the first Divine Priestess; however, before our journey towards the surface, my name in Byakuyakoku-script was Nero."
Nero... wasn't Enkanomiya based off Ancient Greece though? Then again, you thought, the ancient Greeks and Romans were quite intertwined in history, so it doesn't surprise you.
"It's an honour to meet you, Mimi." you gave a small bow, your smile both warm and anxious. "I suppose I don't need an introduction?"
Mimi giggled, her gaze looking through you. "No, you do not... Your friends, on the other hand, as I'm afraid I have never spoken to before."
"I am Hank, an Automation created to, quote, 'keep Phillip's forgetful arse in line'." Hank stated, and you could see Phillip role his eyes in amusement.
"...Collei." the young girl said after a long pause.
"Hmhm, such odd friends you've made yourself, old friend; tell me, how's the other one holding up?"
"She sends her regards and," he paused, "Wants me to tell you that still look good for someone who's... oh, well now, that's just rude."
"The hell's he talking about...?" Collei whispered, and Hank bent down to her ear.
"Phillip shares his body with another soul; whom she is, he has never explained, as the two share an agreement on secrecy."
"I-- what?" Your's and Collei's expressions were of utmost confusion, so much so that Phillip decided to try and explain it himself.
"After a... certain incident, I ended up with another being sharing this body of mine; while she's quite content with staying in the corners of my mind, poking at my memories, she has given me permission to use her power as an emergency panic button.
"I'd say more, but I'd rather not push it." he concluded his vague description. He then turned to Hank and Collei. "Hank, Collei; would you mind leaving us be for a moment? This is something to be kept secret for now."
The girl opened her mouth to protest, but was silenced by Hank saying, "Understood."
Once they left fully, Phillip sighed while groaning. "Well, first off, sorry about the whole 'Imposter' thing, kid; I never thought that Barbados was really that blind, but he continues to surprise me."
"Okay, question: how old are you this time around?" Loux was already 165 when you first met him, so you won't be surprised if--
"I've been here since before the beginning of the Seven Nations."
...Never mind, he's REALLY old this time around, then.
Mimi hummed, her expression level. "Before even Inazuma and Byakuyakoku?"
"Oh, very; I've been getting rather bored these past five hundred years, though; it's thanks to the kid that I've got some of my old drive back, so..." he gave you a purely genuine smile. "Thanks again. From all of 'I'."
You returned the smile. "Anytime, Da... Phillip."
After a moment, you turned to Mimi. "So, do you want to run by what Phillip's grand plan is?"
Mimi nodded. "Of course."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was quiet, and while Collei likes it, spending it with another person isn't something she's used to.
Hank was standing perfectly still, staring straight ahead without her mask on, giving Collei the chance to look at her properly.
Her hair was short and slightly spikey at the front, and was blood red with it becoming snow white near the edges. Her right eye was a turquoise blue, and her left wasn't even an eye: it was pure black with a moving red circle in it, constantly changing in size, rotation, and had lines coming from it, traveling downwards towards her chest.
Her suit was both simple yet elegant, with her sharing the same tailcoat as Phillip, just with a different design on it. On it's back was the head of a hawk, with one side made out of metal.
Her hands were covered by fingerless gloves, showing painted red nails, black pants and black and dark red high heels.
In all, Hank gave Collei the impression that should could kick her ass in seconds, Archon Residue be damned.
"I.. do hope that I'm not causing you discomfort, Collei." Hank's normal eye was looking directly at her, with her other switching it's size every few seconds. "My intention was to secure a proper comradeship, but you're not exactly... fond of people, am I correct?"
"It's only certain people, so don't get it mixed up." she warned, but received only a nod. "And I'd like a verbal agreement?"
"I understand. I shall take note of this." her eye spun around rapidly, and then returned to normal. "Completed. While on the subject, is there anything you wish to know about me?"
"Yeah, what's up with your weird... eye thing?"
"This," she pointed at it, "Is my Optical Analysis Provider; 'OAP' for short. It allows me to scan my environment, people, objects and others to determine the best course of action. I am also able to tell one's life force, and you appear to have something... else, in you."
"That's none of your business," Collei snapped, waving her hand. "Also; why do you look like that?"
"My design was based off of the android known as 'Yuyukokoro', of whom was Phillip's old partner, many years ago. In her honour, and to be more relaxed, he made me appear identical to her in all but her personality."
She want quiet again, before smiling. "I feel like we will get along swimmingly."
"I... don't share the sentiment, but..." Collei scratched her hair, thinking: on one hand, she could say no, and have Hank persist, or say yes, and potentially have another ally... "...I'll at least try to get along with you." she said in the end.
"Excellent; if I may ask, would you like to share with me?"
"Hell no." came her immediate reply. "I'm sure you can appreciate wanting to keep secrets secret?"
"Yes. I can."
Silence once again befell them, and Collei looked down; at her bandaged hands, them at Hank's OAP. She sighed, something she's beginning to hate to do so often. "Just what are you, Hank?"
"I am an Automation; one that is able to understand human conversation, emotion, and culture."
"...Say, if that's the case, ten what's the meaning of life?"
Hank squinted, and her real eye looked around. "That... that is a question with multiple answers."
"What'd'ya mean by that?"
"Exactly what I said; different people say different things, and I am no different." Hank turned around, looking at Collei over her shoulder, and readjusted her tie. "It's getting late. We should get some rest."
Collei nodded. "Yeah... yeah, you're right." taking one last look at Enkanomiya, she started to walk back to Mimi's hideout.
'Maybe...' she thought, glancing sideways at Hank's face. 'Maybe this world does have some good and honest people in them. Even if they're nosy and blunt at times.'
"Ah, one last thing," Hank quipped, turning to face Collei with her mask back on. "Is it true that you hate the Gods?"
"Yeah, why?" she didn't even try to defend it. Why should she, when her decision is final?
"Well, you should get along with Phillip then." her smile was ominous. "As he hates the Gods more than any creature in the Abyss for what they did to him and the ones he was once friends with."
And now, I will take canon and push it away to make way for my long list of ideas.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Diary of a Reincarnated Immortal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Entry 1:
Dear Diary,
I have decided to finally start a diary after all of these years past, just so I can list the things that I need to do within the immediate future. As such, here they are:
Firstly, and most importantly, find The Creator of Teyvat: while they didn't make my Soul, this body recognises them as the person who made Teyvat, even if they remember it not. At the moment, they are my best shot at defusing the situation between myself and the Archons.
Secondly, to split myself/her into a separate body from him/myself. It'll certainly help us in the future from any further miscommunications/misunderstandings.
Thirdly, try and create a replacement limb for the body that the Humanlike Automation Nebula Kaleidoscope (H.A.N.K., or just Hank) has kept in a state of cold stasis until we are sure she won't immediately try and run and accidentally kill herself.
Well, let's just hope we can do all of these things without dying, yes?
--P.
P.S. Try and give Hank a proper personality, rather then the one that she (doesn't) have right now.
Hello, hello, everyone!
-
-
My name is Ryuusei, your everyday simp for Genshin Impact and its characters. (And many other games as well tbh xd)
-
I do hope that you can forgive my messy style of writing. I, ah. Have no excuse anymore xd
-
Regardless, I will write for Genshin Impact's Self-Aware AU, or just Genshin in general and other miscellaneous, but first, some rules (that I will update along the way):
Amendment: Check out the 'Rules O' The Blog for more information that I forgot to post here :3
-
-
1. I prefer write Genshin's women, and certain boys of the game (Venti, Tighnari, Lyney, Heizou, ect.); I do hope you don't mind ;-;
Amendment: All of my posts are gender-neutral, so that you can imagine it as either male, female, or none-specific. Not to turn people away, it's just so things are more open to others.
Not promising anything but hey. If you like yuri or yaoi lemme know and I'll try and help out lol
Amendment 2, 18|19/11/2023: I also write for Cassette Girl from Friday Night Funkin', so feel free to ask about her, too! :D
2. I'm terrible at understanding what people like or dislike, at least when it comes to my writing just expect anything. It's bound to be either wholesome or smut, no in-between xd
-
-
3. My pronouns are he/him, but I don't mind they/them either.
-
-
4. YIPPIE
(Note: This means if you want smut come and ask me; chances are I'll be open to pretty much any and every yuri pairing, so feel free to ask :3)
Well, I hope you can enjoy my writing! (If not, then, well, I tried!)
