So here are my thoughts on the new nurses, because I haven’t really said much about them yet:

- Cameron is... well... I don’t think I’m the only one who saw that name and was very surprised they named another Holbyverse character Cameron this soon. He seems to be trying to garner some sort of redemption for the name Cameron in the Holbyverse, lol. As a character, he sounds nice. I don’t think I’ll be super interested in him, but he does seem likeable. I wasn’t expecting him to be played by Bradley Walsh’s son, who I’ve never seen in anything before, but I’ll give him a chance because Bradley is a pretty good actor (I liked him as Graham in Doctor Who!), so maybe his son’s inherited the talent.

- Jodie is another one who has the same name as a character from a dreadful Holby storyline. Funny that that’s the case for 2 out of these new nurses. As for this Jodie herself, she seems pretty interesting! I initially thought it’s a bit odd that one of her first storylines will involve a figure from her past, but Holby did the same with Gemma Wilde in S15E26 (she debuted in S15E15) and that was great.

- Rida is the one I’m most excited for. She sounds like a great character and I can’t wait to see her!

- Ryan is probably the one I’m least excited about, alas. The descriptions of him make him sound like a Harry Tressler (from Holby) type, and I cannot fucking stand Harry Tressler. But first impressions aren’t everything, so maybe the descriptions make him sound less interesting than he will be. (Also, the actor for him was in an episode of Casualty before, which I always think is cool!)
