oh god. okay. the day is finally here!! today (or rather, yesterday for me) marks the day when i first made it official with beel; and it's the best decision i've ever made. beel has been there for me through my ups and downs, cheering me up with little to no effort. he makes me feel safe. he makes me feel comfortable. he makes me feel confident. so much things that i thought someone would never do for me. he's always the first thing i run to when things are going wrong. his presence alone is comforting enough and i love him so much for it. 💕

i never thought a demon, a being that is usually seen as scary and frightening, would make such an impact on my life. i never thought i would make it this far with him either. i'd usually lose my attention on an f/o after a few months or so- but beel is different. sure, i've gained some new f/o's throughout the way, but my love for beel has never dissipated. he has done so much for me, i just- qjwgwhdbfjfkka. i'm genuinely so in love with him. even though words are my love language, and no matter how much i say, it wouldn't be enough to express the amount of love i have for him.

And sorry for my wording haha, yes. In a nutshell you said it I wanted to know if Mao Dante was recommended as a person who likes devilman a lot I've been looking for series/mangas that have a resemblance to Devilman and so far only Mao Dante is who shares some similarity. Can it be said that both Mao Dante and Devilman take place in the same universe or am I wrong?

Now, regarding what you're looking for in regards to manga; are you looking for more works by Go Nagai involving demons or are you looking for more works with a similar thematic message? Because I can help you with both.

Go Nagai demon manga:

Dororon Enma-kun: An action comedy series about a group of yokai/demons, lead by the titular Enma-kun, sent from the underworld by Enma's uncle Enma the Great to apprehend rogue yokai who have been causing trouble in the human world. This series has received two anime adaptations and an OVA sequel which is considerably more serious.

Hanappe Bazooka: Another comedy series, which Uncle Go co-wrote with Kazuo Koike. The story follows Hanahei Yamada, a pathetic and perverted high school student who accidentally summoned demons while masturbaiting. From their the demons sleep with his mother and sister, and make his father rich beyond his wildest dreams, and futilely attempt to buy his favor with superpowers that never work the way he wants them to. It has received one OVA adaptation.

And I assume you're already familiar with the Devilman sequels, Devilman Lady and Violence Jack.

For manga and anime that follow similar themes:

Neon Genesis Evangelion: after finishing the first series, creator Hideiki Anno has stated that in hindsight Evangelion was his own version of Devilman.

Parasyte: Alien spores fall from the sky one night, hatching small parasitic creatures that plant themselves into human bodies through their facial orifices, eating the host's brain and taking over their body do they can feed on others of the same species as the host. After one of these creatures accidentally plants itself into its would be victims hand the two of them end up becoming friends and embark on a mission to protect humanity from the other parasites. This manga has received an anime adaptation called Parasyte the Maxim.

Cyborg 009: While is series doesn't share the same dark tone as most of the other works on this list, it does share Devilman's anti war moral. Nine cyborgs, created by the arms dealing organization Black Ghost, escape from their creators and work together to fight against Black Ghost and thwart their war profiteering ways. This series has received multiple adaptations in the forms of anime, tokusatsu and OVAs including a crossover with Devilman.

Tokyo Ghoul, or pretty much any horror manga/anime with the premise of a human protagonist being turned into a human-monster hybrid by unusual circumstances.

Cambrian: A manga series of equal parts eroticism and body horror. A mad scientist creates a mutagenic STD called the Cambrian Factor, which causes those effected to mutate into super powered creatures when sexually aroused. A group of people who have been directly effected by these events join forces to stop the professor and cure the Cambrian Factor. It received an OVA adaptation that covered the first 3 3/4 chapters of the manga and raised the sex to an explicit level.

Lastly, Getter Robo is largely a different genre from Devilman, with themes more rooted in Buddhism. That being said the Mangaka who wrote the series, the late Ken Ishikawa, was a close friend of Go Nagai and also wrote a series called Maju Sensen which many consider to be a spiritual successor to Devilman.
