Even though though it was under the guise of comedic “husbandly banter” there was still some tension — from the night of Ozzie’s — between Stolas and Blitz which is in regards to the ongoing issue they have

Whilst Stolas was making wisecracks at Striker’s expense it was done out of comedic mockery and his indifference to being kidnapped — as if he was expecting it to happen 🤣 — before, pretty much, becoming Blitz 2.0 through his arrogance

* Which soon quickly shifted to sounding dangerously protective after Striker mentioned Octavia and announced that Stolas would kill him he harmed her

* Stella (ongoing)

Stolas’s barbs towards Stella is comedic, savage, and can oftentimes be a bit childish. Like calling her out — in 2x02 — for not “knowing” how to spell because he had never seen her read

* Stolas has a captivating and paternalistic voice for narration (confirmed in 2x02 when telling young Octavia about Astaroth’s Tears)

• Knows how to diffuse a situation (specifically for political issues)

Weaknesses:

• Dealing with his emotions (it’s not that Stolas doesn’t want to deal with his emotions; it’s just that he doesn’t know how to after 17 years of emotional abuse (among other forms of abuse) and Stella not allowing him to; as all bullies do and enjoy the torment of their victims)

* Although, unlike Blitz, Stolas would either go to a therapist or talk about he’s feeling to someone he trusts, like his daughter

Paternalism - Stolas may have a lot of trauma via his marriage with Stella (and going so far to cheat on her for the sake of his sexuality and getaway from the constant abuse) because they’re relationship isn’t great, doesn’t mean he’s NOT a great dad for Octavia (for the most part >>> NOT counting the episode “Loo Loo Land”)

* For the most part why I think that Stolas hadn’t left Stella — 17 years ago — was because of Octavia and feeling obligated (probably was and hassled and pressurised by the Goetia family) to keep both parents together for the sake of their daughter regardless the of her age (until 2x01 when Stolas demanded that he and Stella get THE DIVORCE ™️ regardless

* Similar to the one above but an extension of that would be to Stolas’s friends and family (his daughter), but, most importantly, this strength would be ideal for his future partner — Blitz — if he had all these things negative going on, the latter would just be able to fight back with love, kindness, support, and positivity

• Advocacy - Recently, at the very start of S2, we can clearly see that Stolas is advocating for himself in 2x01, as opposed to S1; where he was, pretty much, a walking doormat and would be timid of Stella (which is to be expected in a domestic violence situation)

• Octavia - Striker stated in 2x04 that he had struck a nerve with Stolas when his daughter was brought up, after he had threatened to harm her, so this could potentially be a weakness for him in the future (if he’s tied up physically and can’t do anything except for mouthing off at the latter 😂)

Appearance / personality:

Stolas is tall and slender with a heart shaped facial disk (similar to an owl) and small black, slightly curved, beak. He has two pairs of almond-shaped red eyes, one set atop the other, with no visible irises or pupils, albeit white highlights do occasionally appear when he is excited. (On a side note, he also does wear guyliner mascara)

He has gray-blue feathers, which gradients to dark gray-blue on his head and long, plume-like tail. He has a lighter gray-blue puff of fur on his chest. His limbs are long, thin, and black, and his feet are tipped with owl claws.

Although he frequently changes clothes, Stolas is often seen wearing a deep red tunic with six linked golden buttons down the breast, and beige breeches.

He accessorizes with a feathery tophat that features a regal gold crown encircling it, as well as a long burgundy cape, tattered at the hemline, with a plush ermine-look fur collar, and long black gloves with white feathered trims at the elbows.

Human form:

In Stolas’s human disguise, he has light white skin. His hair is a light grey. His sclerae are white yet retain the red irises.

His outfit changes (form his regalia when in demon form) to a red tunic with greyish puffy sleeves and a red bow tie

• Red shades (in reference to his top set of eyes / brows when in his normal owlish form)

Demon form:

Stolas in his demonic form is black and red, and slightly larger than he is in his standard form. Everything else changes except for his eyes which pretty much stay the same

When he opens his beak he has more demonic-like sharp teeth and a prominent forked tongue

How would you describe Stolas’s personality?

* At the end of the episode it was shown that Stolas — a couple texts ago — wanted to resolve the issue that happened at Ozzie’s with Blitz (who isn’t ready to address the problem yet) by suggesting that he doesn't need to have sex with him to keep his grimoire, or let him keep it for longer, but he deeply wishes to see him again, yet Blitz’s responses make him seem indifferent.

Despite everything that happened between them at Ozzie’s Stolas texted Blitz saying that he’d be in hospital for a while due to recovery (probably for the next two episodes) but he could visit him

* Now, you don’t say invite someone to visit you in hospital, if you don’t want anything to do with them . This means that Stolas holding out for Blitz just that little bit longer, and is giving him the benefit of the doubt (but not for very much longer, I suspect, the more the latter gets stabbed in the heart — pun intended — the more he will most likely come to a conclusion that their relationship isn’t going to happen and will, hopefully, find someone who will love him)

* This episode was the most Stolas had swore than usual (actually now that I think about it he probably had cussed Blitz out with the amount he was doing 🤣)

• Stolas only calls Blitz by his preferred name out of either seriousness or appreciation

• Had M&M not came in time, Stolas’s last words would have been “Blitz” 😭
