NYC & LA LIVE Fashion Week was amazing, featuring an array of internatioal and local fashion designers, with a creative talent that was beyond #FABULOUS.

DA JON

With the location (4 West 43rd Street) PACKED OUT, the day started with RISE (consisting of Fashion Avenue News Luxury Brand and BB Magazine) featuring a Live Mannequin Showroom. This blockbuster event was open to designers participating in the NYC Live Fashion Week Show, the Best of the Best. The purpose of the showroom was to bring the consumer and designers together, allowing the consumer become the buyer. Sofia Davis, Editor-in-Chief of Fashion Avenue News says “It’s time for change, how many times are designers going to pay for fashion week show with no results? With the Live Mannequin Showroom we bring the consumer directly to the designer, where they can make purchases, ask questions etc. ” The Live Mannequin Showroom proved a success as a few desginers sold garments directly to the public.

BLING DARLING – A hightlight of the evening was Bling Darling, the creative baby of Sofia Davis, EIC of Fashion Avenue News. Sofia controlled the mic and took the crowd, “OLD SKOOL” with a legendary rap intro to the Bling Darling segment of the show. The crowd were on their FEET, and loved every minute of it.

The NYC & LA Live Fashion Week show is the creative genius of Executive Producer William Michael Reid to bring together designers from across the globe. Desginers came from as far away as Africa, Thailand, Germany, Atlanta, California and further. There were celebrity designers such as Dwight Eubanks, giving you a couture collection and taking fur to another level.

DWIGHT EUBANKS

The Hair & Make Up team were excellent. For the Live Mannequin Showroom was Beauty Director Picasso leading the team and Paul Mitchell for NYC Live.

VICTOR HOU

The show had A-Lister Press/Media…. Joe Clarke of RunwayNews.com ran the Live Streaming of both the NYC & LA shows, Celebrity Photographer Allison V. Brown was the lead photogher and Pit Master, DJ Uneek handled the sound, Paul A. Walker ran the Step and Repeat, with many other Press/Media in attendance. Front row celebrities were Billie Blunt, Wendy “Boss Lady” Isaac, Sofia “The Black Anna Wintour” Davis, Glenda Collins, Lloyd Crawford, Willie Hall, Donna Michelle and more. Notable Celebrity SuperModels were Avadora Mimouni, Olivia Nicole and Aliepson Reloaded. The LA Live Show was covered by Omar B. Harris, Editor-in-Chief of Fashion Avenue News Hollywood. Omar interviewed on the red carpet, took photos and networked with the New York City team. What a great collaboration and a FABULOUS SHOW, keep up the good work Mr. Reid.
