Decorações Natalinas: Toda a feira é está decorada com luzes coloridas, guirlandas, árvores de Natal e outros elementos típicos da temporada. Há lugares para tirar fotos em todos os cantos, do início ao fim da feira, assim como no restante do centro da cidade, até a prefeitura. A decoração cria uma atmosfera acolhedora e festiva. Não se esqueça de postar uma foto no Instagram!

Gastronomia Festiva: As barraquinhas de comida oferecem uma variedade de iguarias natalinas, como biscoitos, bolos, doces, chocolates quentes, maçãs do amor e outras delícias sazonais. Além disso, restaurantes conhecidos da cidade também apresentam pratos tradicionais da culinária natalina e local. Os corrimãos de madeira enfeitados com pisca-piscas trazem o clima natalino e tornam o ambiente perfeito, seja para uma família se divertir, ou para um casal que quer um encontro diferente do normal. É diversão para todas as idades!

Cinema ao ar livre: Existe algo que os americanos têm mais orgulho do que seus filmes de Natal produzidos pela Hallmark? Eu acho que não. E como uma cidade pequena, Foxburg certamente precisa exibi-los para fazer com que as adolescentes da cidade acredite que uma das histórias irá acontecer com elas! Por isso, ao final de todas as noites, a partir das 20:00h, um espaço especial designado a um cinema ao ar livre foi montado, e um filme natalino do famoso canal americano será exibido. RED STITCH LOVERS... REPORT!!!

(Thoughts on the finale below! NOT spoiler-free!)

What a fantastic finish cap to a fantastic show. You may have seen me complain about the endings to the other arcs before, but you won't see me complaining about this one. We wrapped up just about every loose thread (no pun intended), and those left dangling seem to be saved for the afterparty.

Notable highlights:

THE ISABELLE AND IAN SIBLING MOMENT... I was so happy multiple people drew it; I want to animatic it. I cheered so fuckin loud, tbh. Ian IS the shitty older brother, and Isabelle is his darling twin sister who will keep him in line, and together they will murder their Uncle Hunterpalm <3

(I am specifically referring to him comforting and teasing her while she cried into his shoulder but ALSO, what is more sibling-coded than planning how to commit a murder and hide the body together?)

Unexpectedly delightful dynamic between Cadmus and Hutch. This whole time, Cadmus has been the only party member who really HATES Hutch with a vitriol, and the animosity with Cadmus trying to steal a buff from him (albeit while saving his life) was just so good. And then Hutch using his overclass to full-restore Cadmus (WHO FINALLY GOT TO NOT DIE DURING A FIGHT) and offering to help get revenge on Vice afterwards? Really good stuff.

(And like, we NEEDED that confirmation that Vice was gonna get his just desserts. I would've thrown hands if we didn't.)

Lots of good polycule bits. "If you were hitting on me, you're gonna have to get in line. There's forms and stuff." I fucking love these science freaks.

THE GROUP HUG... even though Florence was not technically a part of it, I'm pretending she was.

On the note of Roob being gone for so long—much as I also wanted them to get back, tbh? I think it provided an EXCELLENT excuse for (non-combat-planning) roleplay. Some of the best moments likely wouldn't have happened if Roob hadn't dipped.

God bless Craigor for INSISTING they all go out and get ice cream. In my head, Craigor's vital role in the found family is that he keeps everyone sane by forcing them to indulge in small pleasures like dairy queen.

Cadmus removing Florence's stitch for her was such a good casual moment of intimacy. It's like letting someone do your makeup for you, only in a more brutal and fucked-up scenario because it's RSR. Nobody fucking look at me I love their friendship and will talk about it for ages

I actually like how Isabelle's "dry anger" finally broke into crying. It feels more in-character that she's been trying to act tough and uncaring this whole time, but really, she's just overwhelmed. I also like how it's more obvious now when she's being possessed by Venutia. HUGE "the souls of the innocent" "a bagel!" energy.

On that note: there's a moment I've always loved where Isabelle uses a Beam of Unreality and deletes several rock fans, and Connor says to Cadmus "stick with me here: there might be something more dangerous to your health here than the goddamn rock and rollers," to which Cadmus (who didn't see the beam) replies "who, Isabelle? she wouldn't hurt a fly!"

What I'm saying is, I want that moment to happen again but now with both Isabelle and Cadmus having the knowledge that she IS a monster. But they both choose to keep quiet about it. That's Cadmus's work daughter, he is not losing ANOTHER person in his life—

ISABELLE IN GENERAL WAS GREAT THIS SESSION. HER BIG SPEECH? A+. GOOD JOB, SIX, YOU GAVE A CONCLUSIVE THEME AND CAP TO THIS SHOW THAT HAD THE BALLS TO BRING UP THE QUESTIONS JELLO WOULDN'T.

Carol/Carmen in general was a really great antagonist. Sympathetic in nature, simple motivations that make sense to her character, and still a massive bitch who needs to be stopped. I don't have any brainrot over her but I felt the need to acknowledge her since, y'know, the whole series kinda hinged on her.

Congrats to that one person for getting their rat canonized

Inside Look at “Spirit of Carrera RS” Special Exhibition

The Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 is an undisputed icon of automotive history, unique and unforgettable. Fifty years after its world premiere, the Porsche Museum is honouring it with a special exhibition, “Spirit of Carrera RS”. Starting on 20 September 2022, the Porscheplatz in Zuffenhausen will be all about the “ducktail”, “RS” or “2.7”, as the sports car is known among Porsche enthusiasts.

When the RS was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show on 5 October 1972, it was the first series-production car in the world with front and rear spoilers. The requirements for the 911 base vehicle for racing and rallying were clearly defined: light and fast were the watchwords. To achieve the objectives, Hans Mezger and Valentin Schäffer developed the 2.7-litre six-cylinder boxer engine with direct fuel injection from the ground up new. In the Sport version, the 210-PS, 960-kg Coupé went from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and topped out at almost 245 km/h. The precise aerodynamics designed back then with racing cars in mind still make the RS unique today. 

The Porsche Museum tells the story of the RS and its racing cousin, the RSR, not only through the cars and anecdotes, but also with films, photos, racing posters and interactive features. Visitors can, for example, put together their own custom RS by turning the model-detail and colour wheel of the kaleidoscope. To fulfil as many personal wishes as possible, Porsche held fast to the customisation principle with the Carrera RS 2.7. Buyers could choose from a wide array of colours and equipment options. The strong demand took the sports car manufacturer by surprise, which initially had planned a mere 500 series-produced cars for homologation. At the centre of the special exhibition is a bright yellow 911 Carrera RS 2.7 in Touring spec, as well as a rare prototype in green metallic. The vehicles, development documents, advertising brochures, price lists, the Carrera logo and an article from the customer magazine Christophorus describe the path from the development vehicle to the production-ready Porsche.

Visitors can also look forward to seeing other extraordinary cars from the family lineage of the ducktail spanning five decades of Porsche history. With the duo of the 911 (964) RS and 911 (993) RS, Porsche expanded the RS family to include air-cooled sports cars. The water-cooled era is represented by the 911 (996) GT3 RS, 911 (997) GT3 RS, 911 (991) GT3 RS and 911 (992) Sport Classic models, the last of which is a collector’s edition from the Heritage Design Series from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and features a fixed rear spoiler. The car’s moniker from the realm of avian anatomy was inspired by the shape of the rear spoiler. At high speeds, the ducktail presses the 911 to the ground and thus reduces lift to achieve the ideal balance and enable higher top speeds. With the RS half a century ago, the sports car manufacturer achieved the perfect synthesis between weight, power, aerodynamics and driving dynamics. Light, fast, race-ready and road-approved.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS  

The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS makes no secret of its intentions: it is uncompromisingly designed for maximum performance.The basis for a significant performance boost is the concept of a central radiator – an idea that was first used in the Le Mans class-winning 911 RSR and subsequently in the 911 GT3 R. Instead of the three-radiator layout seen in previous cars, the new 911 GT3 RS relies on a large, angled centre radiator in the car’s nose, positioned where the luggage compartment is located on other 911 models. This has made it possible to use the space freed up on the sides to integrate active aerodynamic elements.Continuously adjustable wing elements in the front and on the two-part rear wing, in combination with a number of other aerodynamic measures, provide 409 kg of total downforce at 200 km/h. This means that the new 911 GT3 RS generates twice as much downforce as its 991.2-generation predecessor and three times as much as a current 911 GT3. At 285 km/h, total downforce is 860 kg.

A drag reduction system (DRS) is fitted in a production Porsche for the first time. To achieve low drag and higher speeds on straight sections of the track, the DRS allows the wings to be flattened out at the push of a button, within a specific operating range. The airbrake function is activated during emergency braking at high speeds: the wing elements at the front and rear are set to maximum, creating an aerodynamic deceleration effect that significantly supports the wheel brakes.

The look of the new 911 GT3 RS is characterised by the large number of functional aerodynamic elements. The most prominent feature of the GT sports car is the swan-neck-supported rear wing, which is significantly larger in all dimensions. The rear wing consists of a fixed main wing and an upper, hydraulically adjustable wing element.

For the first time on a Porsche production vehicle, the upper edge of the rear wing is higher than the car’s roof. In addition, the front end of the 911 GT3 RS no longer has a front spoiler, but instead features a front splitter that divides the air flowing over and underneath. Sideblades accurately direct air outwards. Front wheel arch ventilation is provided via louvred openings in the front wings.

The 4.0-litre high-revving naturally aspirated engine has been further optimised compared with the 911 GT3. The increase in power to 386 kW (525 PS) is achieved primarily via new camshafts with modified cam profiles. The single-throttle intake system and the rigid valve drive are derived from motorsport. The seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) has a shorter overall gear ratio than the 911 GT3. Air intakes on the underbody ensure that the transmission can withstand even extreme loads during frequent use on track. The 911 GT3 RS accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 296 km/h in seventh gear. Aluminium monobloc fixed-calliper brakes with six pistons each and brake discs with a diameter of 408 mm are used on the front axle. Compared with the 911 GT3, the piston diameters have been increased from 30 to 32 mm. In addition, the thickness of the discs has been increased from 34 to 36 mm. The rear axle continues to be fitted with 380-mm brake discs and four-piston fixed-calliper brakes.

The optionally available Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) has 410-mm discs on the front axle and 390-mm discs on the rear axle. The new 911 GT3 RS comes standard with forged light-alloy centre-lock wheels. Road-legal sports tyres measuring 275/35 R 20 at the front and 335/30 R21 at the rear ensure a high level of mechanical grip.

“A Escada dos Anos”, de Anne Tyler conta a história de Cordelia Grinstead, uma mulher de meia-idade que, pressionada com o descaso de sua família para com os seus desejos, foge para uma outra cidade, pretendendo recomeçar a sua vida.

Esse livro tem uma leitura bem leve e simples, de fácil entendimento e com situações modernas, tudo digno de ser um best seller, apesar de não ser um (até onde eu sei)

A narrativa tem potencial pra construir um universo interessante, mas falha miseravelmente em carisma

A personagem principal é uma coitada, que nunca realmente faz alguma coisa de interessante que realmente mude sua vida, mesmo ela tendo literalmente fugido de casa em plenos 40/50 anos de idade

O engraçado mesmo, é que apesar dela ter “fugido” da família abusiva, ela continuou sendo capacho deles e sendo constantemente mal tratada por literalmente todos eles, mesmo que por longa distância

Isso é muito irritante de se ler, é literalmente tortura observar uma pata veia dessa agindo como uma adolescente de 14 anos

Inclusive, essa ingenuidade irritante dela poderia ter sido muito mais trabalhada e aprofundada, porque até onde eu entendi, ela se casou muito cedo então não aproveitou muito a sua juventude, talvez a sua falta de maturidade fosse uma forma de compensar os anos irresponsáveis que ela não viveu, sei lá

Isso seria muito legal de ler, mas infelizmente esse não é muito o foco do livro

Na verdade não sei qual é o foco do livro, poderia compará-lo com qualquer coisa que a Colleen Hoover já fez, sofrimento e angústia pelo simples objetivo de sofrimento e angústia

(não adianta, qualquer oportunidade q eu tiver de falar mal da Colleen Hoover eu irei falar mal da Colleen Hoover)

Senti umas leves características de fanfic nesse livro também, mas não vou julgar isso porque quem nunca né, eu não acho isso necessariamente um problema

Acontece que a história é muito chata, a trama se perde um pouco às vezes e a premissa original do livro, que era justamente a fuga da protagonista de seu lar abusivo, não dura nem metade do livro

E a vida dessa protagonista meu deus, que dó, que mente disnivelada que ingenuidade absurda, eu fiquei genuinamente impressionada com a capacidade dessa Cordelia de ser uma total acefala socialmente chegando ao ponto em que ninguém mais sabe o que passa na cabeça dessa mulher porque ela é simplesmente imprevisível e desequilibrada

Sem falar nos filhos dela que são igualmente doidos da cabeça, e ainda por cima tratam mal a mãe, um absurdo

Enfim, se não deu pra perceber ainda eu não gostei desse livro eu odiei cada segundo dessa leitura e eu nem cheguei a terminar ele, acho que ficou faltando uns dois capítulos

Mas posso culpar o meu critério também né, o ultimo livro que eu li foi Sra. Dalloway então posso dizer que meu paladar se refinou um pouquinho kkdjfkdfk enfim obrigada pela atenção, até a próxima

O roteiro consegue entrar em lugares muito difíceis de serem acessados, sentimentos e emoções extremamente íntimas e complicadas de serem expressadas, tanto, que demorei horrores para conseguir escrever. Isso é incrível, pois me traz a esperança (de um oscar com roteiro original rsrs) de que os roteiristas consigam ganhar mais espaço depois dessa greve.

O filme dá inicio fazendo referência ao filme "2001: uma odisseia no espaço." Me parece que a Mattel decidiu tomar as rédeas de uma forma muito curiosa e acredito que benéfica para marca. O filme não se leva a sério, tratar de assuntos de gênero nunca foi tão fácil para roteirista e diretora Greta. Existencialismo, patriarcado, feminismo e o capitalismo foram alguns dos temas escolhidos na trama e conseguem se desenvolver de uma forma muito sarcástica dando forma a um roteiro incrível e sutil pois não precisa de plot twist nem de explicações mirabolantes para dar certo. O filme funciona muito bem e satiriza um pouco com outros filmes cult's da cultura pop (se é que isso faz algum sentido rsrsrs)

Margot Robbie representa a barbie estereotipada que em certo momento entra em uma crise existencial, e dá inicio a jornada do filme.

Ryan Gosling está muito engraçado, e não consigo enxergar outro KEN tão *estereotipado* para o papel.

America Ferrera conseguiu gerar identificação de forma sutil e foi muito gostosa a sensação de "ESSE FILME FOI CRIADO PARA ELA, QUER DIZER.. NÓS, FÃS DA BARBIE AHHHH." Ela também protagoniza o monólogo mais importante da trama, que consegue criar mais identificação com público o feminino.

Jornada do filme (talvez contenha spoilers)

O filme consegue transitar entre a barbieland e o mundo real de uma forma extremamente caricata e bem humorada, sempre trazendo referência dos brinquedo e da forma com que brincávamos com eles. Apesar de toda a sensação mágica de estar em uma maquete, a barbieland também remete bastante ao cenário caótico que se encontrava meus brinquedos, e não estou falando apenas da barbie estranha representada pela Kate McKinnon. Desde toda perseguição com os carros no mundo real, até a guerra entre Kens na barbieland traz a sensação de estar brincando novamente.

Talvez você não goste do filme

Sim, ele não é feito para gerar impacto comercial escrachado, apesar de se vender durante todo o filme, acredito que a publicidade e marketing conseguiram gerar o "acontecimento barbie" e deixar o roteiro livre para seguir o seu caminho.

A história começa a partir de um questionamento existencial e fecha o ciclo satirizando a loirinha e seu reposicionamento na mundo, a sacada maior vem quando direciona a barbie estereotipada ao ginecologista, fazendo sátira mais uma vez relacionando o questionamento do papel da mulher na sociedade, e deixa aberto a possíveis interpretações. Desde instruir mulheres ao cuidado médico, como também trazer a finalização do tema niilista, somos nós responsáveis com a reprodução humana? ****SOS*****

Obs. Ter uma adolescência repleta de influências masculinas me deixou com mais vontade de usar *pink* e me tornar uma paty girl, obrigada Greta, por conseguir transmitir todo sentimento reprimido por uma década. bjsbjs

 (Ainda) na onda das lives, assisti (um pedacinho) do lançamento do “Dossiê Mulheres e Arte Sequencial: elas pesquisam, elas produzem”, na noite de quarta-feira, dia 8 (antes, estava assistindo outra live, que depois postarei aqui). O evento foi realizado pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Arte e Cultura Visual (FAV/UFG – Universidade Federal de Goiás), em parceria com a Associação de Pesquisadores em Arte Sequencial – ASPAS (já falei da associação aqui).

O e-book faz parte da Coleção Desenredos (volume 16), e foi produzido e editado pelas pesquisadoras Danielle Barros Silva Fortuna (UFBA), Maiara Alvim de Almeida (IFRJ), Cátia Ana Baldoino da Silva (UFG) e Nataly Costa Fernandes Alves (UFRJ), e tem em seu miolo textos acadêmicos e Quadrinhos de várias artistas (no final do post, a relação completa das autoras).

Mais interessante, foi quando começou a ingressar na pesquisa de quadrinhos asiáticos (os mangás, por exemplo), chegando às HQ indianas. “Quero um dia ir pra Índia, ver de perto como é essa produção, como é feito esse trabalho. Não sei como, só não irei pra meditar. Isso não é minha área”, brincou Sonia, que já morou no Japão, inclusive. Mas, não vou dar mais spoiler da live, você pode conferir a íntegra no canal da UFG.

Malam Baik :)

Dalam rangka menyambut malam yang baik;

Karena di tahun ini Ai sudah selesai masa pengabdian dan akan masuk fase kuliah, Mis sudah seharusnya selesai fase istirahat di rumah, Mido insyaAllah naik ke tahun terakhir di Gontor dan Ika mungkin tahun depan masuk Gontor. Semoga Mis, Ai, Mido, Ika diberi kemudahan, keberanian, keyakinan, kekuatan untuk menjadi sebaik-baiknya mereka, jadi apapun yang mereka mau, terbang setinggi-tingginya dengan nilai dan karakter yang mereka punya, menjadi bagian masyarakat yang bermanfaat dengan ilmu yang mereka punya🩷✨ -- semoga aku sedikit banyak bisa terus menjadi contoh yang baik, membantu apapun itu untuk mereka terus berkembang.

Walaupun 2019 sudah 5 tahun yang lalu, hal-hal yang tidak mengenakkan terus jadi bayang-bayang sampai hari ini... tapi seperti kata-kata yang kutemukan di awal tahun ini; entah singkat atau sepanjang hayat, mari kita jalani kebersamaan sebaik-baiknya. Semoga spoiler kecil-kecilan dari hari ke hari membuat kita sama-sama menjadi seseorang yang mencintai Allah, menyayangi dan mengasihi sebagai sesama makhlukNya, saling menghormati, ada, menjadi motivasi, mengingatkan untuk berbuat kebaikan selagi mampu dan berbesar hati ketika hal-hal yang tidak mengenakkan datang.

Walaupun baru masuk tahun ke 2 di studi lanjut dan tahun ke 3 di dunia riset akademik di tempat yang mantab ini. Semoga di paruh pertama tahun ini S2 selesai dan selanjutnya bisa berada di lingkungan dan bimbingan riset yang lebih baik, lebih mantab, lebih tepat guna, lebih sreg, menggetarkan jiwa dan berapi-api wkwk semoga lebih dekat dengan masyarakat yang mendapatkan manfaatnya langsung. Semangat yaww, nangis aja sesekali walaupun list jurnal bacaan menumpuk dan list pertanyaan belum ketemu hilalnya. Tapi tenang, habis kesusahan pasti ada kemudahan. Semoga di tahun ini bisa beberapa publikasi terkait biomed biar makin mantab.

Sejak kuliah dulu, aku pernah bilang kalau akan ke jenjang selanjutnya jika sudah selesai baca sirah nabawiyah... karena aku hanya manusia sangat biasa dibandingkan baginda Rasulullah, seenggaknya nanti keluarga kecilku cie bisa merefleksikan dan menganut banyak panduan kehidupan beliau. Semoga kalau bisa sih hari terakhir Ramadhan ya, diberikan kemampuan untuk menyelesaikannya, niat aja nggak cukup sisss :')

Semoga Ayah Ibu sehat, banyak harapannya dikabulkan, lancar rezekinya, dibuat bangga oleh anak-anaknya, nggak risau melihat anak-anaknya.

Semoga kita semua sehat ges, bisa menerapkan lifestyle dan diet yang sehat, dijauhkan dari penyakit-penyakit apalagi yang susah dan belum ada pengobatannya.

Semoga RSR-LI-LS semakin baik, profesional, oke jos mantab, bisa jadi sebaik-baik (dalam segala aspeknya) platform untuk anggota-anggota, klien dan pihak-pihak yang diajak kerjasama.
