A/N: Part 1/4 for the last fluffbruary month of the year.

A boat sails out on calm waters, Donna lazes on the deck, shoulders bare but for the straps of her dungarees, her arm loose around Tanya’s waist. Tanya’s arms are just as bare, a simple strapless sundress hanging from her slim frame. Rosie, of course, is cooking, making them all food in the tiny kitchen of their boat. It’s rare they get time like this, but Donna always soaks up time with her lovers when she can get it. It’s rare she spends time alone anymore, Sophie is always around with Sky, her mother is starting to reach out and life, at last, settles down.

So I finished a chapter for 'Bitter End' and I'm close to two thousand words into its off-shoot story 'Sweet Beginnings and Bitter Endings' but it's going to be an off-chapter either way I write it.

The chapter focuses on the after-effects of the high school scene.

It's four years down the line and it touches on points for all characters meeting at the current points in their lives with Rosie.

Harry is a brooding scholar, Tanya is engaged to her first husband, Donna is dealing with the terrible 2s of her daughter and trying to build up Kalikori while Rosie is literally just doing her best to be the lone traveler and supportive friend of the group.

It's a full Rosie is the captain of this chapter, but it's a little off because I'm not used to writing for said character. XD

I have watched both Mamma Mia movies and all 8 Harry Potter movies and never once realized that Julie Walters was in both, let alone playing characters I adore. Rosie is one of my all time faves in Mama Mia and Molly Weasley is iconic. But it took a tiktok featuring a panel of the actors saying their iconic lines cut in with those scenes for me to realize it was the same person. My brain has been melted.

Sweet Beginnings and Bitter Endings; Mamma Mia AU 

This story is going to span at the very least six parts and will feature the main characters featured in the Mamma Mia franchise. 

It’s very much a Tanya x Harry crack ship fiction at heart...but it will also push the boundaries of characters and play off stuff people like to believe about characters in the fandom. 

Chapter One is up now and it’s a High School AU start to the series that features Harry, Tanya, Rosie, and Donna. It hints at things about each character while also being very blatant about things we do know. 

All I ask of people who read this fiction it to please be kind; and yes I’m aware Bill is the better choice for Harry. {But we’re still here and I’m still writing this for my own enjoyment. lol}
