Deals have just closed for Spector’s life rights and for Be My Baby, the book she wrote with Vince Waldron. I’m hearing that early conversations are happening with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Jackie Sibblies Drury to write the script.

The film will be produced by Marc Platt, who is producing the Rob Marshall-directed The Little Mermaid, Dear Evan Hansen and Wicked. Jonathan Greenfield and Ronnie Spector will be the exec producers and Zendaya will also be involved as a producer as all these deals come together.

Quick question, so is Tom filming The Crowded Room this March in New York does anyone know when production starts for that? Also what is Z filming next? Or when does Be My Baby start? Cannot wait to see her play Ronnie Spector, that is going to be so iconic.

According to Backstage, he begins filming TCR in late winter 2022 in NY. Since the first day of Spring is March 20, I'm assuming he'll begin sometime in March or maybe even in late February after Uncharted is released on February 18 in the US.

Idk when Z will begin filming the Ronnie Spector biopic. I, too, am really looking forward to that movie! Dune 2 begins filming in July 2022.

I’m not surprised really that r*pe apologist Charmies want Timmy to take the part of Phil Spector in Zendaya’s biopic about Ronnie. Anything to make him as relatable to Harmie, I suppose. They are obviously aware that Phil was an abuser of women but I wonder if they are aware that Phil died in prison for the murder of an actress.

Welp, all that promo Legendary and WB used Z for paid off. We’re finally out of the Zendaya only has 10 lines movie era. Per baseless assumptions, Dune, the Francis Coppola and Ronnie Spector biopic will possibly all be filmed next year. Could 2023 finally be the full circle moment for OG Z stans like yourself?

I guess but I feel like we've already gone full circle for the OGs. I mean I joined up when Z was 16, on Disney and doing DWTS. The fact that she's basically become an A-list star and an Emmy winner since that time is crazy.
