Self-taught sculptor Romain Langlais turned to bronze, a metal he now incorporates into works that are inspired by nature rather than man. His pieces visually pull apart the natural objects that surround us—building works that appear as bisected rocks, boulders, and tree trunks. These sculptures showcase glistening bronze protruding from their insides, unleashing the perceived inner energy of each object.

kunstwerk van andere kunstenaar #1
Romain Langlois (June 16, 2016)

Bronze sculpture of a cracked-open boulder looks like enormous forbidden snack
Romain Langlois sculpted this enormous forbidden snack out of bronze, carefully texturizing it to take on the appearance of a boulder cracked-open to reveal a delicious gooey interior. It's at the Artistics gallery in Paris and part of a series of similar works. If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
