Sunday was a bit of a rockfest while I was walking. I enjoyed this Getcha Rocks Off podcast about Jim Steinman, followed by the previous evening's R2 Rock Show featuring, amongst other tracks, Whitesnake's 'Ain't Gonna Cry No More.' I loved that Marsden-Moody-Murray era British blues-rock line-up, seeing the band live several times in the early 1980s.

Listening to the Rock Show as I crested a broken area of limestone pavement and stood astride a small cairn, I found myself instinctively raising my walking pole and striking a Coverdale-esque mike stand pose, gurning heroically...before quickly looking round to check nobody had seen me...hey, six months and I'll even have the hair. Let's ROCK!
