The main premise of this is that Shuichi Saihara as Robin 3 is both dating civilian Kokichi Oma as Bernard Dowd and flirting/being flirted with by his alter ego Stray. Shuichi has no idea Kokichi is Stray but Kokichi definitely knows Shuichi is Robin 3. What order do these events happen in? Who knows!

Most of these characters have been assigned DC roles based on their personalities, regardless of gender (except for Superboy and Bizarro since they're clones of Superman so have to be the same gender as him)! I included some Rogues, League of Assassins, Outlaws, Teen Titans and Justice Leaguers because the Batfam interact with them a lot.

In my mind, Kyoko Kirigiri is together with Makoto Naegi and has been for the long term but her as the Bat and Celestia Ludenberg as Catwoman share some flirtatious banter.

Hajime Hinata as Robin 2 died and came back, and when he did he came back different. How much you want to lean into Jason Todd's backstory or Hajime Hinata's and whether you want to include Izuru Kamukuru is up to you.

Kaito Momota may or may not have had an unsuccessful romantic relationship with Shuichi when he was Spoiler and Shuichi was Robin 3. This can be prior to Shuichi meeting Kokichi or Robin 3 and Stray could have had some playful banter going on during this time (this works because Shuichi actually dates civilian Kokichi, which could be after he and Kaito break up). Kaito could be with Maki now!

Yes, this character assignment does mean that Masaru Daimon is Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu's best friend. Yes, that is hilarious.

I was running out of DR characters near the end so I started swapping some around to find suitable Justice Leaguers. Masaru was originally Captain Marvel but then that only left Kotoko Utsugi as an option for Superboy 2 and I thought Fuyuhiko would hate her. So, Masaru became Superboy 2 and Nagisa Shingetsu Captain Marvel. Byakuya Togami was originally assigned as Lucius Fox, the manager of WE, but I had to swap him to Green Arrow because he was just too perfect for that!

Makoto neagi:”I’m not wasting my time going after it though so Shuichi Stay out this if you know what’s good for you “

Shuichi:” So What we just gonna ignore the fact the world going to be in chaos if we Don’t act now some team we are”

Hajime:” Hey We are doing the best to survive this War if that’s not Reasonable to you I don’t know what is”

Shuichi looked down in shame and said in their mind (How can these be so selfless now something happened I’m sure of it but How can I convince them or is there a better idea I can do without them 💡 in this situation?))

Shuichi continues thinking to himself until he remembered something “Wait did Kokichi say to me in that love hotel?”

me (shuichi): "A phantom theif ??"

Shuichi:“Ah that’s it I must become a phantom theif but doing this may cause panic 😱 for future foundation which I know isn’t what I wanted but it had to be done if Hajime and Makoto isn’t going to help me with this problem instead of themselves !!”

Shuichi:”I have other things to consider if I’m going to act on this idea 💡”

Shuichi continued on :”First off I must research on what even a phantom thief is , then Pick a code name since I can’t use my own name if I want it to a secret and third make a costume and have a lair of operation “

I keep making Kokichi the chesire cat but what if Shuichi was the catboy with Cheshire's abilties and doesn't like being compared to him?

Kokichi is a chronic thief of closed furry species designs, specifically the ones that are such basic and common ideas that they make you go "hey wait you can't paywall that, that's like copywriting the letter A"

Dyo au (its such a good indie puzzle game i beg y'all to at least play it, they'd be so funny as the little minotaur dudes)

Au where Shuichi is spiderman, and Kokichi is suppose to be his destended to die lover, but Kokichi is also a powered vigilanti and reveals himself to stop his own death when he realizes Shuichi won't be able to in time (i just don't know enough about spiderman to make this concept work)

All that glimmers , is not gold .

A simple saying that he'd learned the meaning of many , many centuries ago , and one whose meaning still rang true to this day . Especially now , as he bided his time on this planet of dreams , festivities , and reverie . Waiting patiently for his next opportunity ... and for her to find him .

Penacony . A world that during his time , he'd only ever known it to be a prison . A world meant to contain , punish , and torture the enemies of the IPC . The enemies of the Amber Lord .

There'd never before been any reason for Kurama to even glance towards the direction of this planet . No relics to steal , no hordes of credits to plunder , nothing of value resided in Penacony at the time ... but now ? It felt as though everything had seemingly changed overnight .

This planet that was once built upon jail cells , prisons , and shackles had seemingly replaced it's troubled past for gilded doors , marble palaces , and the very best in luxury that one's credits could buy in the Galaxy .

Were the Penacony of old like this ? There was no doubt in his mind that he'd have come to pay this planet a visit sooner .

While he'd understood the explanation that had been given aboard the Astral Express to Shuichi and the rest of the crew prior to arrival , if only partially so . That didn't change either his or Shuichi's suspicions that there was more to Penacony's transformation that meets the eye . Such a drastic change , no matter the credits , could not happen so easily . Nor could all traces of the planet's past be scrubbed clean in just one night .

If he didn't know any better , based on what he could sense , feel in the air around him ? It felt like this was perhaps a focusing point for The Harmony . It felt as if Xipe themselves were hanging in the air . A feeling that caused the ends of his white fur to bristle , standing on end before he turned his attention towards the food , drinks , and snacks he'd swiped off the street vendors .

Even in this form ? His centuries of skill in the art of theft still carried him through . Stealing from them had been easy , and as he awaited her company . He'd begin to casually sniff what he'd stolen .

He didn't care much for the food itself . She could have that . He was more so interested in the Soul Glad soft drinks that were constantly being advertised to the masses . The image of the bottle plastered on store fronts , walking billboards , signs . Seemingly everywhere , almost as much as that singer was . Robin .

Popping off the cap of one of the bottles with his fangs , he's sniff the bottle a few times over before gripping the opening with his teeth , drinking a bit , before setting it back down .

Cleaning off one of his paws with a few licks .

Not bad . Not great either .

He'd take tea with ginger , or a bowl of warm congee with honey any day .

At the moment , Kurama had decided to make himself home far above the streets of Penacony . A balcony overlooking the rest of the world that moved beneath him . Even though he didn't feel threatened in walking the streets , there was admittedly too much of a risk in doing so .

Not because he feared the bloodhounds , no . They were just humans serving the families that administered Peancony's daily functions . It was because of the very people , the guests that walked those streets , that he took such caution while moving among them .

The Masked Fools , The Garden of Remembrance , The IPC's Gambler , and that Galaxy Ranger ... Acheron .

The smell of dried blood seemed to follow her , no matter where she went . With a sense of smell as honed as his ? Washing away such a stench wasn't an easy task .

A revelation that she must certainly have also learned , rather intimately so , during her dance with that the supposed Galaxy Ranger . He'd caught the memokeeper's eye after the dance , her expression alone enough to solidify his suspicions to be wary of the Ranger but he wasn't going to risk approaching her then so they could talk .

He also wasn't going to make it easy for the memokeeper to find him as he was keeping his presence suppressed for aforementioned reasons , but given that they were acquainted with one another he trusted that she was certainly familiar enough with his thought processes on how he'd navigate this carefully constructed world . She'd know where to look .

Hmmm, I'd say Shuichi, Yasuhiro, Byakuya, Maki, and Sonia.

I love the idea of exploring Shuichi's general anxiety in a competitive setting, so I like the concept of him being a figure skater. (plus he gets to be a pretty boi)

For Yasuhiro, I find it funny if he was actually the Ultimate lucky student and he just gets good predictions from sheer chance.

Byakuya is just a case of "Polaris my beloved <3" and how hilarious the interactions would be between them and Chihiro.

Maki, I just find her being the Ultimate Assassin weird because the whole point is that no one knows your identity, so I think it'd make more sense for her Ultimate child caregiver talent to be real. I've also dabbled and made her an Ultimate Bodyguard after she was caught and taken in like a DC Robin.

And honestly Sonia is only here cause I couldn't properly think of a 5th but it'd be cool if her obsession with serial killers got her a talent as something like the Ultimate Criminal Researcher.

I always thought of tenko as being very accepting to transwomen but hate transmen

anon im gonna be super honest w u i dont think tenko cares what you identify as. i know ur basis is bc tenko Really Does hate men but. may i remind you that they tend to go back on their word sometimes, in favor of morals or what they percieve as right. they’ve comforted shuichi before because they culd empathize and Also recognize that kaito socking him in the face Nor kokichi teasing him was what shuichi needed at that time .

“how does this relate to trans people” u may ask. For Starters . there is absolutely no canon implication that tenko wuld Be transphobic to trans men / use transphobic language . if that’s what ur insinuating there. tenko just . hates men. would they group trans men with the same general idea that theyre degenerates to them? Who Freaking Knows theres absolutely no canon basis behind it. the only two times tenko has any kind of view on trans people are in their last FTE with shuichi, and the hidden scene if you give (I Think ) tenko a parasol item (this is th scene where they Pretty much invite k1b0 to the pool party because they both werent sure if he could be a guy Or a girl . and tenko’s like Eh Okay. U can join us)

if anything the worst tenko would do to trans men is just be Unintentionally Transphobic bc of course its not in their place to insult them when they come out to them ( funfact! they really do admire the strength and courage of that person when they come out like them and chihirows in drs) and them Immediately changing their language to at least show support Might make Them seem Transphobic . Which Is Both A Lose Lose Situation…. Insult the Trans Man for Being a Man, You get labelled as Transphobic.. Show Support for the Trans Man, you get labelled as Transphobic and Assume You Dont See This Person as a Man bc of the dropped Hostility.

I Dont even like the headcanons where tenko is transphobic in any compacity bc it just always falls back on the transphobic lesbian stereotype cushion and its Weeeirdddd. we’re in my city now. tenko would give you all of the estrogens and testosterones and binders stolen from shitty medical corporates’s noses like robin hood for trans people.

Headcanons of my Danganronpa OT8-9

Firstly, Shuichi is I believe canonically bi but I could be wrong

He works as a detective after the events of Danganronpa, working along side Makoto and Hajime and Kyoko

He's married to Kokichi Oma to the public eye

Will wear suits but often wear more comfy sweaters or hoodies when he's not in the office or impressing anyone

Not the biggest fan of his edit but whatever

Was raised in the foster system after his parents were deemed unfit to raise him

His D.I.C.E. goons are actually fellow foster kids or once foster siblings who swore to protect the little gremlin without fail, they all lived a life like Robin Hood and Lil John or better yet like Peter Pan and his Lost Boys

Is ftm transgender and often all his clothes were stolen by one of his "henchmen"

Fell for Shuichi and Rantaro at first sight

Is bi but has a male preference that never stopped so he just says gay "with some exceptions"

Works in a found business selling things with Miu

Actually does have a lot of siblings just knew of the twelve we got in the game

Does wear his mask and bandages still out of comforting habit as the killing game made him feel comfort in a weird way cause, as he says it, "Without it I would never met my beloveds" so he does it as a reminder

But also cause he still has anxiety related to the mask

Cut his hair with help from Kokichi a month after the game ended

Refused to touch rope for a while but would use it as an anxiety calmer after a bit

Had Himiko saved as "mummy" as a joke on his phone (based off this fic) and had to change it after a coworker saw it

Like Korekiyo she wears her ring around her neck

When they got married she cut her hair shorter for him

Does have the best relationship with her family but won't cut them out unless they say something about her dears

Owns a art studio where she does online and physicals art classes with paint and clay

Is kind of like Tamaki from OHSHC where she's a bastard affair child from a wealthy Japanese man who only came to Japan after he wouldn't produce an heir with his wife

Her school was down the road from Korekiyo's and they met before the killing game

Very opening and unapologetically pan

Like Angie she is out and proud of her being pan

Will publicly talk about her being poly

Works as a workshop turned co-owner with Kokichi in their business

Loses her shit the fastest when her partners are cute or doing something cute/amazing

She's a kiss attacker, hide your cheeks if she's near cause she will kiss attack

Is as openly dirty talking as in the killing game but was embarrassed half the shit she said and done especially towards Kiibo

Rpg Anon: 1. Well. Personally I have no idea what persona to give to Hajime. For absolute bias, I was thinking of giving him Shiva, head god of the Hindu Pantheon, just cuz I thought a perfect persona for Mahiru would be Parvati, Shiva's wife(I am also Hinazumi Anon after all). But as much as I like this idea, I can't back it up too much. 2. Like I said before, I already made a bit of persona format for lots of dr characters (mostly dr2 cast) which I personally feel fits them the best. But yeah, if I treat these as alternate DLC P5 Phantom Thieves versions of the protagonist characters, I guess that could work. The builds might still be a bit similar to their originals but I guess I can tweak them around a bit.

//See, here's the thing. That would be good under the condition that I didn't have the constraint of fittng with Persona 5's theme as far as the party's initial Persona's go.

Akechi's two Persona's both represent the will or rebellion. Everyone knows the story of both Robin Hood and Loki, and how both of them were known for rebelling against their respective society's.

Yoshizawa's Persona is Cendrillon or Cinderella, another character who famously disguised herself and broke her house's rules to go to the Prince's ball.

Sophia's Persona Pandora is based on Pandora's Box, a box containing all the evil's of the world that Pandora and her husband Epimetheus released.

Lastly, Zenkichi's Persona Valjean is based on the character from Les Misarables, who commits crimes but with the intention of providing for his family.

//Now, I have already gone over it in each individual post, but this is the theme for each character in the Persona 5 AU for Danganronpa:

Makoto's Persona, Mickey, is based on Michael Spillane, the "last of the gentleman gangsters" from Hell's Kitchen.

Black Rose, Kuripa's Persona, is based on a Phantom Thief by the same name from the anime Ashita no Nadja.

Hajime's Persona, Mephisto, as you probably know, is based on the demon, who was a familiar of the devil who defected from God.

Shuichi's Persona is based on Giacomo Casanova, a famous Italian adventurer and spy.

Kaede's Persona is based on Irene Adler, a character from Sherlock Holmes and one of his most fierce competitors.

Komaru and Toko's Persona's are a duo, being based on Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Elizabeth Parker, of Bonnie and Clyde fame.

//Personally speaking, I think I can get a pass on Hajime's Persona being Mephisto simply because I don't think it's any different from how Akechi's true Persona is Loki.
