“You’re a lucky man, Mr. Quarles. You get to come all the way down here, a place you got no right being. You get to eat our food, you get to drink our whiskey, you get to look at our women, as you try to take it all for yourself. Well, you know what you are? You’re a conquistador. Only, we are not your savages.”

There are a lot of hbo war actors that I recognise in Justified.
Jacob Pitts who plays Tim Gutterson played Bill 'Hoosier' Smith in The Pacific.
Rick Gomez who plays David Vasquez played George Luz in Band of Brothers.
Richard Speight Jr who plays Jed Berwind played William 'Skip' Muck in Band of Brothers.
Frank John Hughes who plays Terry Powe played William 'Bill' Guarnere in Band of Brothers.
Neal McDonough who plays Robert Quarles played Lynn D. Buck Compton in Band of Brothers.
Scott Grimes who plays Seabass played Donald Malarkey in Band of Brothers.
Joe Mazzello who plays Billy St. Cyr played Eugene Sledge in The Pacific.

🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…)
🍊Robert Quarles.
I've only written (1) fic for him to exorcise some personal demons. He's such a twisted and terrifying character. Writing for him requires going into a dark and heavy space though. I'm not so sure I'd write another fic focused on him again, but I'd still like to revisit his headspace someday.
He's a picture-perfect villain character with all sorts of interesting issues that fit so well into Justified's themes of intergenerational trauma and local VS outsider conflicts. I've been wanting to use him as an antagonist in future fics! Especially in paranormal/supernatural AUs. That husky man was born to play a werewolf.

USDA Will Require Most Cattle to Have Electronic Ear Tags
USDA Will Require Most Cattle to Have Electronic Ear Tags
The federal government will require most Kentucky cattle to bear a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag in the next few years, the Kentucky Office of the State Veterinarian has announced.Get more news about Lf Rfid Ear Tags, you can vist our website!
“By 2023, only RFID tags will be considered official identification,” State Veterinarian Robert C. Stout said. “The U.S. Department of Agriculture is requiring the RFID tags and phasing out metal tags to improve our ability to trace animal movement quickly and efficiently in the event of a livestock disease outbreak. A strong traceability system is absolutely essential to maintaining open overseas markets for Kentucky and U.S. cattle.”
“The Kentucky Department of Agriculture will work with producers and industry organizations to help with a speedy and orderly transition to RFID ear tags,” Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles said. “In the weeks and months to come, we will be speaking to industry groups and passing out informational materials to help producers make the switch. As we get updates from USDA, we will pass them along to Kentucky producers.”
“We appreciate the Kentucky Department of Agriculture for being proactive in getting the word out about this important cattle identification transition,” said Dave Maples, executive director of the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association. “The transition from metal to RFID tags will strengthen the traceability system by providing information faster and protecting our markets in the event of a disease outbreak.” “All animals requiring official ID will be required to have an RFID tag,” Stout said.,” Dr. Stout said. “This means cattle sold at a Kentucky livestock market or moving interstate off of the farm that are the covered animals listed above must have a RFID tag.”

Neal McDonough is an American entertainer and maker who has worked in this diversion field starting around 1990. So it had been north of a long time since he began working here. Also, as of now, he is one of the commended entertainers in the Hollywood entertainment world. He has showed up in numerous TV series, movies, and computer games, out of which he is very much perceived for his job in 'Boomtown' where he has played David McMorris.

The gallery I went to was Hauser and Wirth. They had three different exhibitions to view. The first one was by Christina Quarles called “In 24 days Tha Sun’ll Set at 7pm” , second was by Zoe Leonard “Experts from “Al Rio/ To the River”, and lasty Demented Words by Jenny Holzer. I enjoyed viewing all of these and my overall experience was great. They were all different types of photographs and art so it was nice to see the difference between the photographers' work. I decided to base my assignment on Zoe Leonards photographs. She is a New York based artist who balances rigorous conceptualism with a distinctly personal vision in her work, which merges photography, sculpture, and installation. Her photography specifically invites us to contemplate the role that the medium plays in constructing history, and to consider the roots of contemporary photographic culture. In her viewing there were more than 50 photographs. Her photographs were all in black and white. The dimensions of her photographs were 11.5 x 9 in.
The images I decided to focus on show a border patrol helicopter arranged in a 6-by-3 grid across two pages, so that the helicopter appears to hover menacingly in multiple.  Looking at these photos you see the different stages of the helicopter taking off and flying. In the Robert Hirsch reading he talks about how photographers use visual tools to express their stories and ideas. These can include light, color, shape, texture, etc. In these photographs you can see how she used these different visual tools for viewers to understand her work and grasp the idea behind it.
Zoe Leonard shows her journary across the border through her photographs. Her photographs are sparsh and direct. They have sharp outlines and eagles of fields, mountains, and bridges unfolding beneath big skies. She documents a high landscape with the border wall falling away. Her work is extremely important because it has a strong message encouraging the viewers to pay attention to observe this ongoing process.
