“NAKED PEAK: Climb the Mountains of Madness”
In my joy the great author of scince fiction, occult and horror Howard Ph. Lovecraft has a great deal of good Impact on Japanese mangakas, animators as well.So that’s what led to the crowdfunded anime movie “NAKED PEAK: Climb the Mountains of Madness”.
Tumblr media
Plot of the movie:
“  A flight to Antarctica turns into a frantic rescue mission after the plane mysteriously vanishes. Efforts to locate the missing passengers lead rescuers to discover the plane's course set for a never-before-seen mountain range - the largest on Earth.
Towering over 10,000 feet above sea level, the Everest-eclipsing eighth wonder of the world (officially nicknamed the “Mountains of Madness”) draws attention from the world's best climbers and thrill-seekers. Although they have conquered the tallest peaks in the past, Earth's new vertigo-inducing heights are surpassed only by the dreadful horrors awaiting at the top.”
Below: Lovecraft’s “At the Mountains of Madness “ as was published on February of 1936.
Tumblr media
Madaraushi launched a crowdfunding campaign in October 2021 to fund the pilot anime film, which was initially titled Kyōki Sanmyaku, and is the "first step" toward an anime film.
The campaign for the pilot anime film received the 2022 CAMPFIRE Crowdfunding Award in the "Animation and Manga" category for raising more than 1400% of its goal, netting more than US$1 million (119 million yen) from almost 12,000 backers. The full-length movie is now in production, and behind-the-scene footages will stream on Madaraushi's YouTube channel.
The anime movie is inspired from H.P. Lovecraft's similarly-titled book “At the Mountains of Madness” (titled "Kyōki no Sanmyaku ni te" in Japanese), and is a focused scenario that has players exploring and climbing a mountain in a horror-themed story. The standalone RPG has no direct connection to the Call of Cthulhu tabletop RPG, or Rob Daviau and Miguel Coimbra's similarly titled Mountains of Madness board game.
My conclusion
It seems real Thrilling case, plus the main girl of the anime movie,Inori Asama, would catch the viwers expactations.but to something much more: That nearly 90 years after author Lovecraft ‘s passing his works give meaning, and inspiration to so many out there in the world.
*So it motivates me to try create something(either drawing either novel)to entertain many.

Pandemic Legacy
"Friendship literally saved the world!" - my friend and Transportation Specialist
It took us almost exactly two years to play through Pandemic Legacy, and it's strange to think how much our lives turned into a Pandemic LARP in that time— we changed from huddled around a card table to playing dozens of miles apart with Tabletop Simulator and Discord.
If you're not familiar with Pandemic, the core concept is this: you play as a team of CDC scientists racing to cure four simultaneous global epidemics. You need to juggle the competing demands of treatment and research. Every moment you're not treating is a moment disease is advancing, but research is necessary to discover the cures needed to end the game. It's a particularly tense and well-balanced game. I don't think I've ever played a winning round of Pandemic which wasn't a turn, a card, a shuffle away from defeat.
If you're not familiar with legacy games as a concept, the core concept is this: where most board games start fresh every time you take them out of the box, legacy games are designed to tell a continuous story across many playthroughs. You carry your character from session to session, and as you go you uncover new rules and even permanently alter the board to reflect the changing circumstances of your narrative. In a way, it represents a hybrid between traditional board games and the more continuous experience of tabletop systems like Dungeons & Dragons. Wholly new games have been created with legacy concepts in mind (including current BoardGameGeek #1 overall Gloomhaven), but we've also seen classic games reimagined into legacy systems— including Risk, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Pandemic.
What begins as a standard Pandemic game quickly evolves into a story of no fewer than twelve sessions. One of the four diseases has become uncurable, and your scramble to control its ever-changing damage while searching for any kind of hope forms the backbone of Pandemic Legacy. There aren't a ton of surprises in the story itself, but it's a satisfying action movie-esque narrative which serves well enough to decorate the changing game mechanics of an ever-evolving virus.
There's a lot of customization here, which is a really fun uniqueness to legacy games. The original Pandemic has a number of characters with different abilities for you to choose from, but Legacy takes it even further by allowing you to modify these characters with different attributes between sessions. You can gain new strengths for doing well, and even new weaknesses for spending too much time in riskier parts of the map. It gives you the opportunity to make each character your own, and opens the door for players to devise unique strategies by combining the initial player cards with different perks. To succeed at Pandemic Legacy, mastery of Pandemic is less important than mastery of your particular playthrough. You and your friends come to understand your group's little world better than any outsider possibly could, and that's a big part of the appeal.
Those same mechanisms make legacy games perfect for a group of friends. That game world which only you understand is the perfect environment for inside jokes and for getting to know each other better over the span of, in our case, two entire years. After the real pandemic drove us to Tabletop Simulator, we discovered we couldn't write our characters' names on their cards but could make their names on flamingtext.com and attach those images to the cards. We had a special soundtrack for the moment our medic (Doc McStuffins, of course) was empowered to treat entire populations at once. These were all silly things that may not mean much to you as a reader, but meant a lot to us as players.
That sort of impromptu community is what makes legacy games special. I hope I get to play another with thise same group of people.
