1x01- reunion 1x02- 1 week later Liz visits Rosa’s grave 1x03- 2 days (?) the morning after Malex have sex again 1x04- morning after the drive-in/blackout 1x05- morning after since Noah’s looking for Iz 1x06- the same night Max tells Liz the story 1x07- 1 week later police question Liz about the fire 1x08- 1 day or 2 after Iz admitted on psych 1x09- 6 weeks later Michael & Liz work on an antidote 1x10- next day, Alex talks to Michael, Iz is out of the pod 1x11- 1 day or 2 after, Iz shares her memory of Rosa 1x12- 3 days after Noah’s been in a pod 1x13- morning after Noah escapes

Relationship Timelines:

- Michael sleeps with Alex 6 weeks, 4 days before sleeping with Maria. Alex talks with Maria and in less than a week, she kisses Michael.

- Michael ghosts Maria for 2 weeks. Then, 2 weeks later, Michael parks at Pony and stays for 2 weeks, then she pushes him away. After 5 weeks, 3 days, she calls him: cornfield incident. They officially date for 3 weeks, 2 days

- Liz and Max kiss 7 weeks and 4 days after Max confesses his love. They sleep together a week later.

-After Max is resurrected, he and Liz sleep together and then they date officially for 3 weeks 2 days.

- About a week after Forrest leaves, Michael kisses Alex. Malex officially are together for the last 9 days (week and 2 days) of the season.

- Liz admits she still loves Max 10 days after she came back to Roswell. They finally kiss a week after that and officially get back together.

- About a week after Isobel meets Anatsa, she asks her out for drinks. Isobel and Anatsa start seeing each other for the last 5 days of the season.

- Alex gets trapped in Theo’s dimension for 11 days. Michael learns he’s missing after a week and goes after him on day 9.

- Michael and Alex move in together after being together 6 months, and then get married roughly 2 weeks after they move in.

- Max and Liz have officially been dating for 6 months (plus the 3 some weeks they were together before) and have been living together for 4 months when Max tries to propose.

- Liz tries to propose roughly 2 weeks after Max tries to propose.

- Isobel kisses Kyle a week after she breaks up with Anatsa, 6 days after she learns about his feelings.

#rick and morty #rnm #rick sanchez #summer smith #mr needful #rick is such a petty and dramatic manchild and i love it #honestly as much as s1 has its bad moments (such as the r word conversation in this very episode 😬) i love the way it portrays rick #like it’s very apparent that he’s jealous and needy and just bullshitting his way through life #he feels much more… human? if that makes sense #like yeah there’s a lot of fun stuff with the whole ‘smartest man in the universe’/god complex stuff #but it’s also nice when he’s just a man who’s very good at science and a massive dumbass in all other areas of life #honestly he’s much more emotionally vulnerable to the audience #like we see him here being insecure and needing summer’s approval #and later on in the episode when he’s very clearly lonely and bored alone in the house #and greets morty too enthusiastically and then corrects himself to try and seem cool #again i was really struck by how… nice he was in meeseeks and destroy after morty shouted at him #even before he realised what had happened to morty #(i know he was an asshole before that but still)#plus the citadel episode has him crying over his memories of morty #i think i just have a mental image of s1 based on the ‘anti-pc’ jokes and dudebro perceptions of it #so i forget what it’s actually like #i mean don’t get me wrong there are definitely a lot of extremely cringeworthy ‘anti-pc’ jokes #but rick is actually much more human in s1 #also i find it so funny in this episode that at the end rick and summer actually work out #rather than rick just using some sort of technology to make them jacked #like i know they use steroids #but the fact that they actually went to all that effort cracks me up #also i would say this is the first episode where rick and summer start to actually develop their own interesting dynamic #which i love

alsooooo “sorry to be such a high-maintenance morty” kinda confirming my hc that emorty knew about the citadels morty system prior to taking over his rick and that played a part in why he did what he did

#also just. sad to see the whole thing early on #I WISHHHHH we cld have seen if they had a summer etc #i assume so bc theyre at the normal house. but then what happned to them …. did they ever find out? so interesting #i assume it becomes a cronenburg situation where they leave and never come back. and the family just moves on without them #fun that erick is just. a completely normal s1 era rick. not especially evil not espeically … anything. just a regular asshole #its hard to tell if emorty was anything special at first…. he seems to get most of his intel from ricks and only much later is able to work #on the same level as rick #altho i suppose he did make the mind control device? so hm.#hard to tell bc we dont know his backstory prior to that moment #but i can think abt it.#rnm spoilers #rick and morty spoilers #rick and morty
