Getting Back with Jax Teller Headcannons
*gif not mine*
Tumblr media
Ohhhh man
Ohhh boy
Ohhhh jeez
When Jax looked up, a crow eater planted firmly on his lap, her lips stretched in a wide grin against his, and he saw you across the room
Homeboy knew he fucked up
He stood up, dropping the crow eater on her ass
He expected you to run out
He was already prepped to chase you
But instead, you swallowed down your drink, dropped the glass on the bar, and walked over to him, face calm
But as you got closer, and Jax tried to tell you that she just jumped him, it meant nothing--
--he saw your eyes
And he knew he was doomed
“Don’t bother coming to get your shit,” you told him, “It’s all getting fed to the fire tonight.”
And then you walked off
He was so stunned, he didn’t even chase you
Instead, he retired to his dorm with a handle of bourbon and quietly panicked for the rest of the night
In the morning, hung over and nervous, he made Juice drive him to your place
The first thing he noticed was the fire pit in the middle of the driveway, and when he got closer to inspect it...
...Yup--that was his shit amongst the soot and ashes.
Great.
When he knocked on your door, your best friend answered--
--and verbally ripped him a new one
“I knew you were no good for her,” she’d concluded, “but she said you loved her, and she loved you, so I kept my mouth shut, but now,” she leaned in, sneering over at him, “I get to say ‘I told you so’.” She leaned back, her eyes full of hatred. “Fuck off, biker boy.”
So he did
For now.
But he came back, after a nap, a shower, and a meal forced upon him from Gemma
You were outside, dragging a garbage bag to the end of your driveway, and Jax had a feeling his non-flammable shit was in that bag
He hopped off of his bike, taking a breath
“Baby, I can explain--”
“What are you doing here?” You asked, one hand on your hip. “Do I have to spell it out for you? I don’t want you anymore, Jax. And clearly you don’t want me; we’re over.”
“No,” he felt his heart constrict in his chest, and he took another breath, trying to calm himself, “That’s not true. Last night was--baby, it was a mistake! I was drunk, and high, and--”
“I don’t want to hear it,” you said, walking past him, dragging the bag with you, “I’m not Tara or Wendy or your mom, okay? You fuck up with me once; that’s it. You don’t get to just bat your eyes and get forgiven.”
“Well what do I need to do, then?” He asked, heart pounding. “Just tell me, and I’ll do it.”
You rolled your eyes
“No, I’m serious,” he went on, reaching out to you
You stepped back, avoiding his touch, and Jax nearly fell to his knees at the action
Shit shit shit
“Please,” he said, dropping his hand, “Baby, please. I need you. I know you’re not Tara or Wendy or any fucking crow eater-- I love you. I’m in love with you, and I need you.” He say your eyes soften, and he kept talking, hoping his words could thaw you. “I’ll do anything to prove that what happened last night will never happen again--I swear.”
Sighing, you dropped the bag
“I can’t have you out here disrespecting me,” you said, “I can’t be afraid to turn my back on you because I don’t trust you--”
“--But you can,” he swore, “You can trust me, Y/N, I promise you can.”
You sighed again
You loved Jax, you did, but you couldn’t tolerate his shitty treatment of you
“I’m not one of your guys,” you went on, “Just because you have that patch and that gavel, doesn’t mean everything you say or do is law.”
“I know,” he agreed, “I know. Just... Please, let me make this up to you. I can’t lose you, Y/N.”
You bit your lip, and Jax knew you were considering it
Finally, you spoke:
“Fine. But I need you to fuck off. I need some space from you, at least for a few days.”
He nodded, ready to agree to anything
“I’m serious, Jax. I don’t want to see you, or Juice, or Chibs, or Gemma until I’m ready.”
“Okay. I can do that.”
“And I need you to send me my things,” you went on
Jax deflated at that--giving you your stuff back, the clothes, makeup, books and other shit you’d left at his place or his dorm--seemed really final
“We’re not getting back together just because you said so,” you told him, “So as of now, we’re still not together. But if you listen, and want to try to get back to where we were... I’ll let you.”
Jax swallowed. He could do that.
He would do that
Hell, he’d do anything for the slim chance to be with you again
It hadn’t even been a full day since you’d dumped him, and he was already desperate for you
So he agreed
Per your instructions, he mailed you all of your things
He also didn’t see you or speak to you for five long days
(It was hard, but keeping Gemma from getting her claws into you was even harder. But he manged it)
On day six, you asked him if he knew anyone who could fix your water heater
Jax was at your place with a tool kit and Happy within the hour
“Anything you need,” Jax told you, “Just call me. I’ll always be here for you, darlin’“
So you did--and Jax kept his word
When you needed something fixed around the house, Jax was there
When you were hungry at work, he would bring you lunch
If he was on a run or busy with club stuff, he’d send one of the guys or a prospect in his stead
He checked in on you throughout the day, asking if you needed anything and listening when you complained about your coworkers
A month into this, you kissed him on the cheek when he showed up at your job with a bouquet of flowers just because
Jax could have passed out, he was so happy
The real test came a few weeks later, when you asked him if he’d go to your best friend’s house to rid her of a pest
When Jax got there, he was surprised to see that the pest was her ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend
Apparently she was involved in some kind of love triangle
It took everything in him not to rub her drama in her face, but he didn’t
Instead, he got rid of the gf and actually sat down with your friend and told her she deserved better than to be some asshole’s side chick
She cried into his shoulder
When he got on his bike to leave, she stopped him
She only had one thing to say, but it meant the world to Jax
“I was wrong about you”
That night, you let Jax back into your bed, and he spent the entire night showing you how much he loved and missed you
He told you, too
And though you didn’t say “I love you” back, he knew you did--
--he could feel it
You didn’t let him stay the night, though
You handed him his jeans with a smile
“I’ll call you tomorrow,” you said
Jax spent most of the next day checking his phone, hoping to see your name flash across the screen
All the guys knew he was waiting for you call
So they couldn’t help but fuck with him
Opie stole his phone and hid it for a good 30 minutes, which resulted in them wrestling in the middle of the bar until Gemma hit them both over the head with her purse
Juice--on orders from Clay--blocked the cell service at the club house for 15 minutes, and the guys took a shot every time Jax cursed in anger at the situation
They were drunk for the rest of the afternoon
Bobby, Chibs, Hap, and Opie all pretended to get calls from you, making Jax so frustrated, he almost pulled his hair out of his hair
But then you called--for real
And everything in Jax’s world felt right
“I was thinking,” you said, your voice sweet and warm in his ear, “I don’t think I’m ready to get back together with you yet...”
His heart sank
“...but maybe we can go on a date?”
And so Jax started courting you all over again
Dates
Gifts
Sex that ended in you gently kicking him out
It was frustrating, but he was determined to win you back
Plus it was kind of nice starting over with you
Jax felt like he learned new things about you--and himself--through the process
And then, one day, when the two of you ran into one of your coworkers at a restaurant, you introduced him as
“Jax, my boyfriend”
And that night, you let him spend the night with you
In the morning, Jax woke you up with kisses, crawling over you and covering your body with his
And he knew, as you wrapped your arms around him and whispered “I love you” back to him
--that he would never do anything to lose you again
And as time went on...
...he didn’t
Lessons, it seemed, were learned.

Neglect  Winchesters X Sister!Reader
Summary: Ignored by her brothers, Reader is tired of the hunting life, of life in general. She overdoses in her room while her brothers are out on a hunt. Once they return they expect to find dinner ready but all they find is Billy.
Word Count: 1,837
Warning: Suicide, neglect, rape
Third Person POV Y/N was just so tired of everything. She wasn't as courageous as her older brother Dean or as smart as her twin Sam, at least that was what she thought. She was just there. She was always there just in the shadows, always in the motel rooms and sometimes even forgotten in some small town. Now that they've got a bunker she's always inside. She doesn't remember the last time she left the bunker. No one but Castiel and Bobby knew her personally. Others like Kevin and Crowley just knew her as a name, nothing more. Now that it was just the 3 Winchesters living in the Bunker, she felt even more alone. She'd cook them dinner when they'd get back from hunts, they'd occasionally say thanks but for them it was just them and then her. They cared for her of course but they just sometimes forgot of her existence. Or they assumed she didn't want to tag along. They assumed because of the trauma they've lived that she chose to go mute. She didn't, they just didn't bother listening. During Sam's college days she had moved out, nobody noticed of course but once Sam was back on the job Bobby had called her and forced her to be with her brothers again. The angels knew about her, they felt bad, even the ones like Uriel and Zachariah, they all felt so bad they chose to not involve her in the business, they had been protecting her. She always had an angel watching over her. However, now that the angels are dying she's alone again.
Y/N was sitting on her bed reading War and Peace when she decided today was the day, she knew her brothers would be back in a few hours so she had to do it now. She walked over to her drawer and took out the mix of pills she's collected over the past few months. She was so dedicated that she just took them and decided to lay down. She didn't even cry or feel like she'd miss her brothers. Eventually she wakes up and is surprised Billy is there. "Billy?" She asked confused. "You killed yourself? You really are a Winchester" Billy says as she looks around and frowns, sensing something wasn't right. "Can I ask a question?" "I can't promise an answer" "Do you think they could have loved me," Y/N asked, Billy immedietly knew that Y/N was neglected, and not just now but her entire life. "You were always my favorite Winchester, Y/N. Are you sure you want to do this? I can knock some sense into those boys and change everything" She says gently, "let's go" was Y/N's only respond.
Dean's P.O.V Sam and I walked into the Bunker, tired after killing Vampires, expecting the smell of food or at least Y/N's music playing, meaning she was cooking. All we got was an eerie silence once I had shut the door. "Where's the food?" Sam asked as we put our stuff down and then walked to the War room. "What if she went grocery shopping?" I suggested casually but right away we couldn't help but start laughing, our sister was way to antisocial and lazy to even leave the bunker. We decided to check her room, just in case she died or something. Once we entered, we saw Billy, or Death, "boys, did you know Y/N had read the Mortal Instruments series over 5 times the past year alone" Billy asked as she looked through a book. Wow, Y/N had a huge book collection. "What did you do to our sister?" Sam asked, surprisingly worried. "She's happy now." "What did you do to her?" I asked, now getting anxious. "I want you to see her memories," Billy states as she clicks her fingers.
We were in a motel room. Sam and Y/N looked about 7 years old. "What?" Sam asked completely lost. "This is one of her favorite and happiest memories. Quite sad really. Do you know why it's a favorite?" Billy asked as she sat down on the bed. I decided to look around, Y/N was reading The House of Mirth, at a very young age she was already reading big chapter books. 11 year old me had just walked into the motel room, "I brought presents" he said. I smiled, I did always try my best with taking care of them. I look around and noticed there were only 2 dirty plates in the sink, I must have not ate to make sure they had eaten well. I noticed that Y/N frowned. "Here you go Sammy" I said as I handed Sam 3 presents that I had clearly stolen from a random house, "what about her," Sammy asked as he turned to his twin. I looked at now Sam and he frowned, remembering this night. "Oh yeah" young me whispered and started digging through his pockets. "Hey y/n, I brought you this" young Dean said as he threw a semi melted Snickers bar to the small Y/N who smiled widely as she put her book down, "thank you" is all she whispered as she ate happily. I started to tear up. "This was the 1st time Dean had given Y/N a present for Christmas, this was also the first time in 2 weeks she had something other than water" Billy said as she got up. "What kind of sick joke is this" Billy only clicked her fingers again.
The day Bobby had brought Y/N to our motel room. "Boys, keep your sister with you," Bobby said as they walked in, she looked like she had been crying. "This is one of her worst memories, want to guess why?" "Obviously because she was forced back into hunting" Sam said in a very confident tone, knowing Y/N had also wanted to leave the life, and did once Sam left for college. Dad never bothered checking in on her. Y/N had pulled Bobby to the side, this was by the time she had gone mute. "Bobby, I don't want to be with them, please don't make me stay. I was a good hunter with Rufus, I had a good life, don't do this" she begs him, her voice, I had completely forgotten what she sounded like, "Y/N was a good hunter with Rufus but once the Winchester boys were reunited Bobby wanted Y/N to be with you. This is a bad memory not because of hunting but because she knew she'd go back to being forgotten and ignored" Billy said as she walked out of the motel, we followed behind. She clicked her fingers again.
We were back in the bunker, "are you done" Sam asked as I noticed there were tear stains on his face. "Cassie!!" I heard a sweet melodic voice, was it Y/N? She walks into the library and started dancing, that's when I noticed there was music, Y/N always listened to Rock, it was her favorite but right now she was listening to the Mulan soundtrack, she never listened to Disney but right now she was singing along as if she'd done it before. "Cassie" She calls out again. A few seconds later Castiel appeared. "I brought you a book," he tells her as he hands her Fahrenheit 451, "you know you don't have to bring me a book every week" she giggles out, still accepting the book and hugging him. "Let's dance" she asked him, "Castiel never made her feel unwanted" Billy says as she sits in a seat. "Can you stop" I asked, not wanting to see this anymore. "Dean keeps calling me for help" Cass informed Y/N, she looked sad right away, "right, okay, go then" she says and goes to turn off her music but Castiel stops her. "He can wait".
Now, I don't know where we are. "I remember this night, please Billy, don't make us see this" Sam begs Billy, I look at him confused. It was a motel, I couldn't remember though. I look around and Sam and I are watching a movie, he looks about 16, which made me 20. Why can't I remember this night? That's when the door slams open and my little sister walked in, her clothes ripped, she's been crying and she's limping. What happened. "You could've picked up the phone" she whispers at us, we don't even look at her, just chatting and watching the movie. I remember, we had been called to the hospital the day after to pick her up but dad had made us leave, said he'd pick her up in a week. I never figured out what had happened. She walks over to her bed and we turn to her. "This is by far her worst, she had to endure the pain, all by herself." Billy sighs as she looks at Y/N with sympathy. 16 year old Y/N had taken off her clothes, not even caring that we were in the room, now Sam and I avert our eyes and look at each other, Sam was crying, what happened. "Look" Billy demands sternly and forces us to see. There was my little sister in a white towel but there was blood running down her legs, she walked to her small bag and got out clothes and walked into the restroom, I could hear her sobbing. "Hello? Bobby, I need help" she sobs on the other side of the door. "I called Sam and Dean but as I just got to the motel they've been watching movies. I called John, I told him what happened and he blamed me. Bobby, some old man raped me outside the library" she sobbed out. "He held me at gunpoint, I need to go to the hospital, what if I get pregnant? I'm scared dad" we heard a thump, she had dropped her phone. "Bobby was too far out, other side of the country, she had to walk to the hospital all by herself. She had to deal with the rape kit, the police, everything, all by herself. John felt she needed to be punished. In case you didn't figure it out, this was the day you assumed she had gone mute" Billy admits, and finally we're back in Y/N's room.
Y/N was on the bed, sleeping. "This is when she finally was at peace." I noticed the bottle, there was no label. Is she sleeping. "I gave her body to Castiel, we burned her before you got here. He felt you didn't deserve to be there." Billy says and pats my back as I cry. That's when my little sister's lifeless body disappeared. Sam fell to his knees and started sobbing. How could we just ignore her like that? "It was always just Sam and Dean against the world right? Imagine being the forgotten Winchester, she was strong for lasting as long as she did" is all Billy says before she disappeared. Leaving Sam and I alone in our sister's room. A sister that we didn't even get to say goodbye to.

You and Me and You- Winchesters x OC Milania
Tumblr media
Series Note: Before I dive into this story, I want to make something very clear. In NO WAY will this have ANY aspect of inappropriate content. No smut, no incest, just a very clean story. I imagine this as the concept of Twilight, just with the Winchesters; no vampires and werewolves unless they’ll be killed. There were two boys who loved one girl and that’s all this will be, the boys just happen to be brothers. Will there be kissing? Of course, but that’s as far as I write. I will also try to be as accurate to the series as possible but if something doesn’t sound true to the show, it’s probably my own take on it and the characters. I still hope this will attract plenty of readers and I hope everyone enjoys! -Monique
Second note: John Winchester, Jody Mills and Bobby Singer all work together on cases in the early chapters. Warnings will be added to each chapter.
Summary: Milania was left abandoned as a child, taken in by Bobby Singer. Being raised in the life of hunting monsters, it was a rough upbringing but she wouldn’t have changed a thing. When the Winchesters became involved, it was a whole different ball game, one that no one knew how to play.
Warnings: Mentions of child abuse, child abandonment, injuries to a child, Bobby being a good Dad.
Word Count: 2,147

Chapter One- 1984
Bobby’s POV
I was out on a hunt in Washington State, trying to track what was causing a string of murders of daycare children. Storybrooke Daycare Center, founded in 1921, was the source of missing children that later turned up dead. Investigating this location, I unraveled a web of secrets that no one in the town knew about. In the thirties, one of the daycare workers had been a pedophile and not caught until seen in the act on the property, and was he fired and sent to jail. However, once released a year later, he came back and killed several of the children. Fast forward to today, and the reason for these killings was linked to the ghost of the worker. I and my pal Rufus had ganked that son of a bitch, causing the center to be closed down indefinitely. As police arrived on the scene, social workers worked with the remaining employees of the center, to wait or parents of the children. Slowly, every child was taken home and offered guidance from the social workers. When everyone was accounted for and I was no longer being interrogated, I start packing all my belongings. I head out to my car to load back up for the next case when the faint sound of crying filled my ears.
“What the?” I say aloud, following the sound coming from a small child. As I grew closer, I see a little girl, no older than three, sitting on the wet rocks in the playground area. Her clothes were stained and ripped, her hair a matted mess.
“Hey there, little one. Where’s your Mommy?” I ask, crouching down to her level. Instead of answering me, she continued to cry. Looking around and seeing absolutely no one left to pick up kids, I figured she was abandoned.
“Here, come with me. I’ll help you.” I try to coax the little girl into coming with me.
“She’s not going to go with you, Bobby. You’re just as scary to her as those monsters were.” Rufus said, seeing what I was doing.
“Well, I can’t just leave her! I found her and no one is left to care for her, so I’m taking her.” I yell back to my partner, who still disproved.
“Look you old fool, I’m not asking for your permission! This is what I’m doing so you can either join me or leave me the hell alone!” I turn to look back at the little girl, who had now come to my side and was staring up at me.
“Do you wanna come with me? I promise I won’t hurt you.” I say in the softest voice I could come up with and she nodded at me. I pick her up and walk to the car, and buckle her in. Unfortunately, she was too small to sit by herself, so I move her to the front with me and cradle her into my side.
Honestly, I have no idea how to raise a child. I’ve never had any of my own considering my wife died from a demon before we were ever able to think about that. However, I do know a few female hunters that would probably be more than happy to help out. So, I threw the car into drive and drove off to the first person I could think of.
“No Jody, she was abandoned. No one was there to pick her up. You know I couldn’t have just left her. Not at all. Okay, yes, I know I have no experience raising a kid but I couldn’t just let her stay there. She’s a mess and since the daycare ended up shutting down, I decided to take her. Look, will you just help me, please? Okay. Thank you. We’ll be there soon. Bye.”
Arriving at Jody’s a few days later, I get out of the car, and I can tell the little girl was afraid but her mood changed as she saw me on her side of the car. Damn, this kid is getting attached fast. I help her out of the car and put her on my hip as we walk to the door.
“Hey, Bobby, and hello, who is this?” Jody said to the child in my arms.
“That’s a good question. All the kids at the center had nametags they kept on their backs but I think hers fell off.”
“How about Milania? Millie for short.” Jody suggests.
“You know, that’s quite fitting for her. What do you think, Milania?” I look down at the child who squeals and claps her hands.
“I’d say she likes it.” Jody and I chuckle as Millie runs off to the couch in the living room.
“Okay little lady, you are in desperate need of a bath,” Jody says, going to pick Millie up and take her to the bathroom. Much to both our surprise, she didn’t fight Jody on it as most children would. I followed the two into the bathroom since I was going to have to learn how to care for Millie on my own, and saw the shocking and sickening part of her neglect. Underneath all her little clothes, her arms and legs were bruised, she had food and dirt all matted in her hair and spots of dry blood around her body. It also seemed like she cigarette burns scared onto her skin too. Jody filled the tub and slowly set Millie into the water, and that was when all hell broke loose. Millie screamed at the top of her lungs and was crying uncontrollably. It must’ve been because she still had wounds that weren’t healed.
“Bobby, can I get some help over here?” Jody yelled to me, trying to hold Millie in the tub, but it was a battle she was losing alone.
“Come here, sweet girl,” I say, sucking in some air and trying to assist as much as possible. I hold Millie in my arms as Jody washed her hair and body, getting all the dirt and blood off. I’ve seen plenty of people, adults, who looked like this, but most of the time, they’re monsters and they deserved it. It was a whole different story seeing a child treated in such a terrible manner. I may not know what I’m doing when it comes to raising a kid, but I do know I will always protect Milania; she’s been through enough.
Once we got her all cleaned up, Jody took her into the next room to put some clothes on. She said she had gone to a clothing store and stocked up on as many toddler clothes as she could find. Our whole worlds had flipped when I found Millie but it was what needed to be done.
“Hey get ready, John said he was coming by with the boys to get some help on a case he is suspecting in Colorado,” Jody said, as Millie ran back into the living room, looking much happier than she did a few minutes before.
“I gotcha. How’s he been doing?” I ask.
“He’s been okay. Things are still hard on him since Mary died and I don’t think it’s getting any easier.” Jody said.
“How are the boys?”
“I’m not sure. I mean, Sam is about to turn two and Dean just turned six. They still rely on John a lot but I know he hasn’t quite been all there.”
Just as our conversation about the widower ended, there was a knock on the door; it’s them.
“John, good to see you and the boys.”
“Hey Jods, thanks. We’ve surely missed having any female perspectives on certain things.” John tries to joke but his face is full of sadness.
“Jod-Jod!” Dean yells, waddling his way over to Jody, who bends down to the boy and scoops him up in a big hug.
“Hey Deano, how’s it going?”
“Good!” He answers, with a big smile on his face.
“Have you been keeping an eye on Sammy?”
“Yes.” He giggles as Jody tickles him before he gets set down and he runs to me.
“Hey, sport.” I ruffle his hair and wrap around him as he hugs my leg.
“Bobby, how you doing, man? Jody tells me you have a kid?” John asks.
“Hey, yeah I do. I found a little girl abandoned on the location of a hunt Rufus and I worked on the other day and I decided to take her in.”
“Wow, well I’m not doing too well in the parenting department myself but I do think she’ll be in good care with you.” John compliments.
“Thank you. Jody here has been helping me out a lot, giving me all the tips, I may need, but I have her on speed dial for emergencies.” We both laugh as Jody comes into the room with Millie.
“Hey, there she is.”
“Daddy!” Millie yells as she runs over to me. That was the first time she’s said anything and she already knows me as her Dad.
“Hey Mills, I want you to meet some people, okay?” She nods as I pick her up.
“John, this is my daughter, Milania. We call her Millie for short.”
“Hi Millie, I’m John.” She hides her face in my shoulder, still not used to people.
“I guess she’s still shy. That right there was the first time I’ve heard her talk since I found her.” I say to John who just smiles.
“Guess you got a magic touch or something.”
“Hey Millie, come meet my boys,” John says, walking over to where Dean was sitting, next to Sam on the floor.
“Dean, this is Millie. She’s Bobby’s daughter. And that little guy there is Sam.”
“Hi, Millllllie,” Dean says, singing Milania’s nickname out. She looks over to Dean and just stares at him.
“Say hi Mills.” I try encouraging her to meet new people.
“Hi.” She spoke in a small voice, before turning back to me.
“Hey kids, I have an idea. Do you guys wanna draw? I’ve got crayons and paper in the kitchen.” Jody said, leading the children away from John and me.
“So, what do you got?” I ask, taking a swig from a bottle of beer, looking to the younger man.
“It looks like Wendigos. They’ve made quite a mess in the town of Silverton, Colorado. But it seems like more than I can handle on my own.” John explains.
“Well, I’d be more than happy to go with you and try to figure this thing out.”
“What about the kids?”
“We can always ask Jody if she could watch them?”
“Of course, I’ll watch the kids while y’all go on a hunt. It gives me more time with Sam and Dean and gets to know Millie a little better. Plus, she’s been through a lot; she needs a chance to catch a break.”
“Thanks, Jody. We’ll check in often, make sure the kids are alright.” I say.
“They will be; they’ll be with their Aunt Jody.”
“So, we’ll head out in the morning then,” John suggests before gathering the boys up and leaving to stay in a motel in town.
“You and Millie can stay here for the night. Can’t have Baby Girl in a nasty motel room after what she’s seen. She deserves to sleep in a neatly made bed.
“Can’t argue with that.” Putting Millie to bed was easier than I thought it was going to be but it was later than any child should be up. She sleeps on the bed, next to me, and soon we both are taken over with sleep.
When morning arrives, I get Millie dressed and get her some breakfast before John and the boys come over. I try to explain to her that I will be away from her for a while, which went well.
“Hey princess, listen. Daddy is going away for a few days and you have to stay here with Aunt Jody. But I’ll call to check on you, okay? You be good for Aunt Jody and get along with Sam and Dean.” I say to the toddler as she rocks back and forth on her heels.
“Okay, Daddy.” She says as she leans in to hug me tight. She was tiny but mighty when it came to affection.
“Dee!” Millie yells when she sees John and the boys walk in the front door. Dean lets go of John’s hand and runs over to me and Millie.
“Millie!” Dean yells back to the young girl and hugs her tight like she just hugged me.
“Alright guys, I got a movie and popcorn all set up for you in the living room,” Jody says as the kids rush into the other room, and taking Sam from John’s arms.
“Thanks again, Jods,” I say.
“No worries. You guys be careful out there; you have kids counting on you to come home.”

Chapter 26.
Warning!!!!!! There is kidnapping and violence.!!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One week later
I wake up as the sun breaks through the curtains in Dick’s room. I stretch and turn to look at Dick, only he isn’t there. Where Dick should be laying, is a single red rose and a note. I smile as I pick up the rose and take a whiff of the aroma. The rose smells sweet, but I also smell traces of Dick's cologne on it.
Letting out a happy sigh, “He's my Robin and my Prince.” I smile and whisper the next part, “I love him so much.” I set the rose back down and pick up the note.
My Princess,
I ask that you have dinner with me tonight. There is a dress already picked out and hanging on the back of the bathroom door. A tiara is in the box on the kitchen counter. I'm at the precinct all day today, so I have my outfit with me. Sorry I didn't wake you up before I left. You looked so, beautiful laying there asleep. I love you.
Go on a date with me?
Your Robin.
I hug the note and sigh, “He bought me a dress and a tiara?! Oh, my gosh.” I let out a giggle as I jump out of bed and rush to the bathroom. I look at the back of the door to find a black and blue floor length tulle dress, with rhinestones around the right shoulder strap, down the back of the dress.
I smile as I gently touch the dress and see the stones shimmer in the light. I feel so happy just looking at it. I had to tell Dick thank you immediately. So I use our mental link. THANK YOU SO MUCH. It's so beautiful. How did you sneak it in the apartment without me knowing? And what time is our date?
I hear Dick's small chuckle as he sits across town hearing my thoughts. It doesn't take long for his thoughts to come through, I’ll send someone to pick you up at 7:30 tonight. I brought in the dress while you were asleep. I'm glad you like it. I love you, Lyds. I would buy you the world if I could. Dick looks at the picture he has of us on his desk and he smiles widely. He softly whispers to himself, “I'm asking her tonight.”
I giggle and smile looking at the dress, “I want to marry that boy.” I love you too, marshmallow. Can't wait to see you tonight. I jump in the shower with excitement for our date tonight. I let the warm water wash over me while I wash my long black hair. I step out of the shower and wrap my long hair up in a towel. Grabbing the robe that is on the door to the closet, I slide into it and make my way to the kitchen counter.
There blue box on the counter and I freeze. My breath catches and I gently place my hands on the sides of the box. “I’ll be a real princess.” I whisper with a smile. I slowly open the blue box to find it lined with black felt and a insignia saying ‘Tiffany & Co.’ “He, he bought real diamonds?” My eyes widen as I look at the tiara. It’s silver with a intricate curving swirl pattern. There are small diamonds all over the tiara, along with nine tear dropped shape diamonds.
I take a deep breath and gently lift up the tiara, it glints and sparkles in the light. I place it down to find another note.
My love,
This is your tiara to keep. You have and always will be a Princess. Now you have a tiara to show the world what I see every day. I love you Lydia Amy Lee Kent.
With all my love,
Your Marshmallow
I wipe the tears from my face as I set the note back down beside the box and whisper to myself, “I’m a princess.” I step away and giggle spinning in circles, “I’m a princess. I’m actually a princess.” I jump and land on the couch giggling, “Oh my gosh. He bought me a dress and a tiara with real diamonds. Is, is he proposing?”

Across town
Dick is sitting at a desk filling out reports when a fellow officer walks by. “Hey Stewart, can I ask a favor?”
Stewart turns around, “Sure, Dick. What’s up?”
Dick smiles, “I’m going to propose to Lydia tonight. Do you think you can pick her up around 7:30 and take her to Gio’s? I don’t get off till five, so I’ll change here and meet her there.”
Stewart smiles, “Yeah, Dick. I’ll pick her up. I’m happy for you and congratulations man. She’s one special girl.”
Dick nods and looks back at the picture of me on his desk, “Yeah, she is.” Dick hands Stewart a hundred dollars, “This should cover gas, a car wash, and a new shirt.”
Stewart takes the cash, “Thanks, man. Sports car or minivan?”
Dick tilts his head to the side, “Sports car. I want this classy.”
Stewart nods, “I understand.” With that Stewart walks away  and heads to his home to get ready to pick me up.
Dick smiles and gets back to work, “Tonight will be perfect.” He says as he works and looks at my picture from time to time.

Back at the apartment
I check the clock and see that it’s one o’clock in the afternoon. I walk into the bathroom with the blue Tiffany’s box and pull up a chair to the vanity. I let down my hair from the towel. It fans across my shoulders with small curls in it. I grab the brush and start brushing my hair while blow drying it. Grabbing the curling iron I curl it into loose curls that hang loose around my shoulders. I smile as you use hairspray and lock your curls in place
I open the Tiffany’s box and pull out the tiara. I carefully place it on my head and secure it into place with bobby pins. It’s so pretty. I feel amazing with this one. I can’t believe he bought me real diamonds.
As I pick up my makeup brush I hear Dick’s thoughts, Why wouldn’t I buy you real diamonds? You deserve them. You’re a princess. Princesses have diamonds. I’m excited to see how you look in it though.
I giggle at his thoughts and look in the mirror. I have a smile that goes from one ear to the other ear. I then spend an hour on my makeup. In the end very do a very simple look. I have winged eyeliner and a light blush.
I sigh as I check the time. It was an hour until someone is coming to pick me up. I stand up and unzip the back of the dress. I gently step into it and pull the one shoulder strap over my right shoulder. If I’m going to have telekinesis then I’m going to use it. I focus and the zipper starts to move. Next thing I know the dress was zipped up.
I turn to face myself in the mirror. My loose black curls hanging over my shoulders with the tiara glinting in the light. I’m wearing Dick’s colors and a smile plays across my face. I gracefully walk out of the bathroom and slip on a pair of black high heels. By the time I’m ready it’s time for me to head outside.
Stewart showed up ten minutes early. He was leaning against his silver Corvette, wearing a pair of black slacks and a black button up shirt, along with his Police jacket. He saw me walk out of the apartment building and he approached me, “Are you Dick’s Lydia?”
I look at him up and down, then nod, “Yes. Are you here to pick me up?”
Stewart nods and opens the passenger door for me, “He awaits.”
I walk towards the car and carefully sit in the passenger's seat. I buckle the seatbelt. Stewart closes the door and walks around to the driver's side of the car. He gets in and starts driving to Gio’s. “So what’s he like when he isn’t being a cop?”
I furrow my brow and look at Stewart. “He’s the same. Smart, nice, caring, he’s always smiling and happy. Why?”
Stewart shrugs, “Yeah, but he’s a Wayne kid. That money has to get to him.”
I pop my jaw and sigh, “Richard, has never cared about the money.” I glare at the road as Stewart starts to drive faster. “Aren’t you speeding? I think you should slow down.”
Stewart grips the steering wheel tighter as he drives through town, “How on earth did he even land a pretty thing like you anyway? You have to be in it for the money.”
I bite my cheek then respond, “I make my own money. I work for Bruce Wayne at his Wayne Enterprises branch here in Bludhaven. I just happen to love his oldest adopted son. I’m not in it for the money. I’m in it for the family. PLEASE SLOW DOWN!”
Stewart hits the gas harder and causes a wreck right in front of Gio’s. The Corvette flipped and Stewart got out of the car first. He was covered in blood but, other than the few scrapes and cuts he was ok. He walked around to my side of the car and dragged me out of it, by my hair. The tiara was ripped from my head and throw on the ground. Stewart steps on it causing it to break.
My dress is now in shreds as Stewart pulls me into the alley and throws me into a black SUV. A person in the back of the van ties ropes around my hands and feet. They hold a rag over my face and I slowly start to fall asleep. The SUV speeds away as people gather around the now crashed Corvette.
Dick hears the noise and he runs outside Gio’s to see Stewarts Corvette flipped upside down. His heart drops. He sees pieces of my dress attached to the car. He looks on the ground and finds my broken tiara. His throat runs dry and he narrows his brow. “Everyone move back please move back. I’m an officer.” He pulls out his cell phone and calls 911. “This is Officer Grayson, there has been a wreck outside of Gio’s the driver and the passenger appear to be missing. Send backup.”
Dick looks back at the wreck and he tries to remain calm. Whoever took me, will pay.
A/N: The dress and the tiara pictured are the ones in the story. SO CLOSE. What does Stewart want with Lydia? Dick was so close to proposing. He bought her diamonds?! Will He find Lyds? Will he try to propose again? Stay tuned
