We don't sell MooMoo milk, no! MooMoo milk, at least the one it's usually sold, comes from Milktanks and we aren't fostering any at the ranch at the moment.

I've also heard that there are new variants like Dubwool milk and a type of vegan milk that is made from Rindo Berries, but our ranch doesn't have the license or equipment to prepare it. At least, currently!

Paradoxes Incarnates

Enough time passed where Dela felt confident with asking the questions she had about the universe. It was her unlife’s work and this was something she could not miss out on. While the likelihood of it ever being published was nill, this would be something just for herself.

It was but a humble question.

“Apolly. How can you tell if someone was affected by a paradox?”

Apolly, chewing on a Rindo Berry, quickly swallowed. Pit in all. 

“Well! That is a very good question. You are a woman of science and I respect your interest in my job! That is-”

Luck was on the steel types side. Two more pokemon coming to ask them questions. On a topic that Apolly actually cared about.

“You two have amazing timing. I was about to explain to this wise scientist about paradoxes. You both are ideal for this.”

How were they both ideal? Dela hypothesized that they themselves were affected by anomalies. They did not seem to stand out in anyway.

Instructing the two mons to come over and sit so they could listen to the wise jirachi talk, Apolly changed their face to the usual resting bitch face.

“Lycanroc. You are a Class 2 paradox. You have had significant aspects changed around you, but they are additions as opposed to subtractions and replacements,” they figured to try and address the question the dog asked for. “As for your dream, that is difficult to say. It is not impossible to have recollection of previous iterations. Through your dreams. I am not the one to ask. There is a whole corp for dream focused tasks.”

Turning their attention to Dela, the jirachi gave a sympathetic look. This was going to hit too close to home.

“You are class 4D. While the paradox was contained to just yourself, distortion world portal that are strong armed and cause a chain reaction that can cause more discrepancies.”

To their remorse, Dela lowered her head solemnly. Apolly would need to assure them later.

Moving on.

“Glaceon. You are a class 3. Your personality and appearance are both altered but it is seemingly contained to you. Nothing to escalate. As for how we go about doing it,”

Eyes turning a bright purple, Apolly’s gaze also intensified on her three ‘students’. To the three listening, the jirachi’s gaze was unnerving. As if their souls were being searched.

“I can see the different iterations overlapping on anyone’s current version. It helps to notice the specific details of their changes. It is disorienting at first, but you get used to it after a while. They tend to send us jirachi out to report the details. We must be advised on the locations by our superiors.”

Dela had abosorbed as much of these new terms and classifications as much as she could. This explained discrepancies and contradictory information around certain pokemon's origins can be. One of important note was a fossilized magneton with covered in iron sand, despite it being a mon created via mass production and iron sand would not be mined in any capacity until humans evolved.

Putting their hands forward as if to calm the ghost down, Apolly gave her a stern, yet compassionate look.

"We can discuss that later!" the excitement was contagious. "I will need to omit some things, but on the whole we can talk. Just not now."

Gesturing towards the two other pokemon in their presence, as if to indicate it was information the guest should know.

Dela, excitement approaching to reasonable levels, nodded in agreement.

Turning her attention back to the glaceon and the lycanroc, the former scientist put her hand on the back of her head, eye conveing some kind of grin.

"Sorry you both had to see that."

My friend is an avid grass type lover, however, I have crazy seasonal allergies. How can I interact with Pokémon like jumpluff and eldegoss without my nose exploding?

in addition to taking allergy medication before interacting with these pokemon, it can help to wear a face mask to prevent yourself from breathing in any spores or pollen!

there's been some research into ways to make more...hypoallergenic grass types? and there's been some success in selecting for individuals with lighter pollen/spore production. but these studies have also shown that certain dietary adjustments can help! the addition of sitrus berries, lum berries, and rindo berries into the diet of grass types can help reduce the impact pokemon-induced allergies have on people.

Actually, that reminds me, has Randall gone vegetarian? Or does he still occasionally go for meat?

Oh… Nah. I haven’t had any “human food” except that candy earlier. Just berries and small Pokémon.

To answer your question about me, I'm not vegetarian. Tauros jerky is my favorite food. Kantonian, not Paldean--Paldean is too tough. As long as I don’t know the Pokémon I’m eating, the then I’ll eat meat. Akoya's the same.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Lav goes vegetarian, though. I haven't noticed her eating meat recently.

Its a basket of a variety of berries, Bluk, Colbur, Kelpsy, Rindo, Roseli, and Wepear.

There isn't a note attached, but it's obvious who its from, based on the way the basket smells of freshly cut grass.

Azure is big but fluffy and dark blue in color… he’s also been eating fish and rawst berries more often that normal noibat food. Does this help in identifying him?

Hmm. To me, it sounds like that Azure's mother was a "Fruitvern" and his father was from the Hydreigon line making for a very interesting cross! Azure is most likely going to rely on his sonar/echolocation abilities as he grows due to Deino and Zweilous less than stellar vision. Don't worry if he bumps into things at first! He's just getting used to the new environment! Fish, berries, and traditional noibat food is a good diet for him. Sounds like he likes bitter food. Some other bitter berries are Leppa, Oran, Lum, Sitrus, Aguav, Nanab, Wepear, Pomeg, Kelpsy, Hondew, Rabuta, Durin, Rindo, Coba, Haban, Ganlon, Petaya, Jaboca, and Maranga! I've heard that Alomomola is often enjoyed by pokemon who enjoy bitter tastes but getting him fish found in areas around where you caught him might remind him of home!

NOT SO BERRY: GEN 1 - MINT

Morgan perdeu sua mãe quando ainda era uma criança, não tem tanta lembrança dela. Sua irmã, Mavis, foi quem cuidou dela e a criou desde então. Elas têm uma relação complicada, mas no fundo tem muito amor uma pela outra. A Mavis não soube como lidar com o luto, e não sabia também como lidar com essa nova responsabilidade de ter que ser mãe da sua irmã. Ela trabalhou e se esforçou muito para conseguir oferecer um espaço cheio de amor e positividade para Morgan crescer, mas talvez ela devesse ter sido um pouco mais direta com ela. Morgan era bem encrenqueira quando menor, brincava de bater e morder outras crianças, mas quando era chamada a atenção, Mavis aparecia rindo, tentando interpretar esses comportamentos como coisinhas engraçadas, para Morgan não se sentir mal. No fim, travessuras, trotes e pegadinhas viraram parte da personalidade de Morgan. Mavis está começando sua vida adulta, dessa vez tendo como prioridade seus sentimentos e o que ela quer, aproveitando que Morgan também saiu de casa para correr atrás dos seus sonhos. Morgan sempre quis ser a maior Cientista que existiu! E claro, ficar rica no processo. Esses são seus maiores objetivos na vida, nada além disso. Ou será que isso pode mudar se ela conhecer a pessoa certa? Ela quer do bom e do melhor para si, isso significa que pode querer também para sua futura família?

💯cassette: 1. despite having a sense of smell, cassette has no sense of taste 2.in (in universe) early designs for cassette, charri originally wanted cassette to be reminiscent of Ichigo/mew strawberry 3. Cassette has limited ability to experience physical sensations, and is currently "little kid making slideshow to convince parents to get them a pet" style trying to get charri to update him

💯charlotte: 1.Charlotte technically has like, dissociative amnesia, which is to say a lot of her childhood she doesn't remember properly due to truama 2.Charlotte is like genetically(?) a very, not powerful but like healthy(?) vampire, this is to say she requires less blood than most to be fully functioning (including magical abilities) esspecially less to be able to regenerate/fast healing, she also is less to prone to hunger, and more resistant and responsive to solid/human foods, and has greater potential for magical abilities 3.Charlotte's original (human) hair color was a lot more saturated and light blue than grey

🤍charlotte: 1. I mean she's a vampire, she has literally killed people, yes for survival but Charlotte isn't very 'mercy-ful' to her victims, thats not even acknowledging that like, she very much could have avoided killing anyone. She's definitely somewhat sadistic. 2. what really makes 1 questionable is she's not like, horribly regreting said actions, she's very apathetic bout it and while she understands that 'killing people is not good actually' she just sorta doesn't care, while she doesn't go out of her way to harm others she would do it again with no guilt 3. she's not very nice to Jim (the boo that is likely the ghost of one of the staff from the manor) Jim literally wants only the best for her and tries to take care of her and Charlotte sorta pushes him off and generally is really insensitive towards him

🤍kaiya: these are def less questionable considering they all improve greatly post-character arc but still 1. Kaiya's kinda a jerk sometimes, very 'not like the other girls tm' she generally doesn't assume the best of people or give them the benefit of the doubt. 2. she's sorta possessive over those she does deem her friend, like doesn't like a friend of hers being friends with people that aren't also her friends, and isn't past taking advantage of a friend's kindness. 3. Kaiya is always complaining about problems she's caused for herself, Kaiya can't get past her pride and stubbornness even when it would be for her own good, she refuses to admit when she's wrong even when she KNOWS she's wrong

🥪Sunny and Daisy having picnics and lunch dates where they eat various fruits and berries and whenever they have pokebeans sunny points out their heart-shaped nfjksnfadfa. screw it ima share their favorite foods from like the foods that are in pokemon games. sunny's favorite berries are nomel and belue, Daisy's are lum and haban. their go-to drink from the lil pokemon center cafes alola has would be pinap juice for sunny and roserade tea for daisy. There's also those restaurants with z-meals throughout alola. but i'm pretty sure the options are just 3 different meal sizes. Though the battle buffer in hau'oli city does have options, Sunny would get hoen ramen and Daisy would get the rindo salad. Sunny would pick a sour malasada even over a mythical malasada, and Daisy would favor sweet and bitter malasadas. Sunny likes yellow pokebeans the best and daisy likes orange. Daisy's been to multiple regions and has talked to Sunny about all the food he should try if they ever visit. I think it'd be cute if they visited galar together, in which Daisy would like sweet bean medley curry and Sunny would like sour coconut curry. Out of sandwich recipes from paldea Sunny would like tropical sandwiches and Daisy would like smoky sandwich or noodle sandwich.

🥪Button's love for apple juice is almost irrational, like the guy will go through lengths to acquire apple juice. fnkajdak Button really likes Onigiri and seafood but in all honesty his day to day lunch is just instant microwave noodles

😓Kaiya is very stubborn, she doesn't like being talked down to at all and she feels like letting others teach her new things is like admitting their supeirior to her, this is a big part of her arc sense another character in her story, Suika is very much a mentor type character (while kaiya's the magical girl protag, suika is the 'leader')

😓Button used to be leaning to the stubbron side but post-angstera he's very open, they're also the type of person who's just absolutely mind-blown and excited and curious about the simplest things

POKEMON TEAM. (WIP)

CHU, the Hariyama

One of the Saffron Fighting Dojo’s veteran Pokemon, Chu quickly became one of Dendra’s most trusted training partners during her time spent studying under Master Kiyo. With Kiyo’s permission, Chu decided to follow Dendra to her new job in Paldea, where he continues to serve as her teaching assistant, sparring partner, and number-one Pokemon confidant/ace. Although Chu is extremely strong, he is also very reserved and doesn’t like battling other Pokemon. He is very protective and will rumble to the aid of Dendra or anyone in danger without hesitation, especially children.

CAMI, the Medicham

One of the first new teammates in Paldea, Cami helps Dendra lead meditation and mindfulness classes at the academy. Very intelligent and controlled, she will often join Chu in trying to save Dendra from dangerous situations and reckless decisions (often to no avail.) Cami is also very close with the Medichams that Tulip oversees in Alfornada, and they often swap telepathic gossip on their respective trainers. 

TUNO, the Tauros (Blaze Breed)

After nearly goring Dendra on her way to the academy, Tuno refused to be captured through traditional means. He only (reluctantly) agreed to join Dendra’s team after she proved that she could mount and ride him across the Paldean fields--a feat that took all day and many, many painful attempts. Controlling Tuno is a definite WIP. Fierce rivals with Rodos.

RODOS, the Tauros (Aqua Breed)

Dendra first met Rodos when he challenged her Tuno to a fight and absolutely destroyed him. Despite the type disadvantage, Tuno would not let Dendra rest until she and Chu helped train him to take down Rodos. After weeks of attempts, Tuno finally overcame his rival, and Rodos allowed Dendra to capture him (only after a swim pursuit across the nearest lake!) Rodos shows a little more restraint than his Tauros teammate, but he still tries to fight whenever Tuno does (as allies or foes.) They will be rivals until the end of time.

TAMATO, the Hawlucha

Dendra found Rindo while on a run, and the feisty flyer immediately challenged her to a race. Following the hard-fought wind sprint (which ended in a narrow Hawlucha win), the two shared a feast of freshly-picked berries together. Rindo finally decided to join up with Dendra, someone who could match his brash energy and drive. Dendra named him after his favorite super spicy Berry. Often serves as the team’s lookout during outdoor workouts, but often fails at being stealthy since he’s just as accident-prone and loud as his trainer. Loves crowds and showing off (again, not great for stealthy stuff.)

DOJO PALDEA, the Falinks

Dendra’s newest team member(s), Dojo idolizes the other members of the squad and will pop out of their capsule to watch battles involving their trainer or any high-level Paldean fighter. They will then often try to incorporate what they’ve learned into their formations and attack style. It is not uncommon to see Dendra studying a battle tactics book with Falinks scattered all around her, peeking at the pages as she turns them. The Dojo’s brass is very strict and keeps everyone on schedule, serving as Dendra’s improvised alarm clock.

How would you care for a Sewaddle all the way to Leavanny?

Sewaddle is a Pokemon who likes to be babied a little, and needs a lot of attention. They especially love being held, and may get a bit fussy if you deny them too much.

They require a good supply of leaves to make sure their clothes stay intact. If their clothes tear or are otherwise damaged they will become incredibly distressed until they can fix it, so its best to have extra leaves on hand at all times.

Pairing them with a grass type would be a good idea, as it gives them a good supply of leaves, and a good friend! Pansage and Petilil make great companions for a Sewaddle.

Their silk takes a lot of energy to make, and they need to be well fed in order to make their silk properly. Tree leaves, Rindo berries and Lum berries are a good favorite, but if you are able to get a hold of them, Strib berries are incredibly healthy for them! Ive never met a Sewaddle who turned those down. When I get a shipment in I usually have to hide it, or else Ill have a group of Sewaddle running the other Pokemon over to get to them first, ha.

Swadloon is a bit more reserved. Now that they've evolved, they'll be asking for attention a whole lot less, and food a whole lot more.

Swadloon may be asking for food more than for attention now, but that's okay! They appreciate sitting in the same room with you, taking part in parallel play. Their favorite bonding activity would be to sit in the same room with you and work on their cloak while you do your own thing in the same room. It is a bit cute to watch when you get up and go to another room and see them waddling in after you. They still wanna see you and hang out!

Diet should consist more of leaves than berries for now, like wisteria and kudzu. Swadloon also prefer the dark, so keeping a few lights off will keep them comfy.

Once you have a strong bond and they feel the time is right, they will evolve into Leavanny. This Pokemon has a strong parental instinct, and will probably end up copying how you babied them as a Sewaddle, and do it right back at you! If you have any small Pokemon, they will be babied as well.

This Pokemon likes to make clothes for other Pokemon out of leaves, and might even try to make some for you! If they start poking around at your sides, they are most likely trying to figure out your size. You'll wear it proudly, wont you?

Right after evolving they may still have a strong appetite, but it should calm down after a few weeks. Some Leavanny have taken to drinking nectar, but its a personal preference. They tend not to like yellow flowers, though. Sweet berries like Pecha and Mago are usually favorites, and make good treats.

A wonderful Pokemon to care for, and they make great partners.
