so. i started EV training Basileus the Piplup at level 15. he has 252 special attack EVs and 162 HP EVs. he level fucking 54.

#i was immediately distracted by the holy grail of full odds stupid extremely specific hunts #which is pokemon emerald battle pyramid shinies... usually uncatchable due to battle pyramid rules #your bag/items being switched for a battle bag/no way of having pokeballs. HOWEVER #using an extremely convoluted set up w the pomeg berry glitch. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE #including putting your items into the battle bag! it's INSANE #legitmacy is debatable of these shinies bc you're not Supposed to be able to obtain them. #which honestly adds to the fascination for me!!!!!!! alas i started over in emerald. #so. it. would be a while. for me to even get to that point. i can't even remember where i left off.

Made a regional variant togepi line based on various glitch pokemon (bad egg, decamark, and missingno, + the shiny’s colors are based on Q)

Togepi, the Bad Egg Pokemon: ghost type, a bringer of bad luck

Togetic, the Question Pokemon: ghost/flying type, evolves with high friendship. It makes strange things happen wherever it roams.

Togelitch, the Corruption Pokemon: ghost/psychic type, evolves when exposed to a pomeg berry. Capable of temporarily warping reality. Despite its psychic typing, it’s incredibly hard to communicate with, and its motives as it destabilizes reality are entirely unknown. Maybe it’s just trying to make people happy?

These guys are based on the pomeg berry glitch in gen 3 (from a video I saw where someone used it to train an egg to level 100), which is why Togelitch evolves the way it does + why they're ghost types, since curse is an important part of the setup. Personality-wise, they're more inspired by bad eggs being used as anti-cheat -- Togelitch is trying to make its trainer happy by doing things like duping items, speeding up leveling/egg hatching, helping them find rare pokemon, but these attempts just leave things a little bit broken. Because it evolves with high friendship, this line is very affectionate, but Togepi and Togetic feel bad for the misfortune they bring and try to make up for it as Togelitch. Their visual inspiration comes more from the various forms of missingno (colors and pixel markings obviously, but Togelitch is also based on the ghost sprite), decamark, and Q (in the case of the shiny)!

how are ppl able to not eat many pomeg berry seeds. theyre like the fucking cocaine of fruit you cant just have a few fucking seeds you have to pop handfuls upon handfuls into ur mouth at rapid speeds and then get sad because u spent half an hour getting the seeds out but you eat them in like five seconds.

i spent a bit of time at the marketplace today. my brother was doing some shopping and wanted to show me how all the auctions work. theres regular shops too but theres still a lot more auctions. he says that they're a lot more fun than regular shopping if you know how to read the other bidders and are smart about the money??

i watched him win an auction for 40 pomeg berries and he went to start bidding on some klawf sticks for dinner, but i wasn't really interesting so i ended up going down to the pier. i saw a gyarados far out on the water, and some of these like... weird frilly winged fish pokemon all around the place.

this place is so weird.

Pelipper mail: a six pack of pomeg berry juice. The label is in a language you don't recognize, and it comes in fancy glass bottles. There's also a note on Pasio stationary:

"Hey Kieran. I decided to check in, and it... looks like you're not doing well. At all. Not sure what caused the spiral, but it looks like a pretty bad one. I'm sorry. Seems like your brain's being a bitch to you, and the anons are joining in.

"Anyways. Since you're pushing people away today... a lot of people will tell you that you're not useless, and you're not a burden. But I think that people should be allowed to exist even if they are useless burdens. Even if they contribute nothing of worth and use up resources. Maybe it's not a common line of thought. But I hope it catches on."

in a deltarune pokemon au noelle would be one of the rivals, sort of a more friendly one similar to bianca, but would slowly start breaking the game- stuff like her walking around with a fainted pokemon because she managed to do the pomeg berry glitch or her accidentally encountering missingno, that sort of stuff

Is Decamark named after the ?????????? (Ten Question Mark) glitch pokemon?

Decamark is inspired by/based off the Pomeg Glitch’s, well, Decamark! The decamark you see here is what the game will produce/throw out after you successfully faint your whole team!

Thus is done by fainting a 1 out of your two pokemon, using a shuppet with curse on route 1 or 2 with Pokémon who can’t hit shuppet since it’s a ghost type. You use curse once in two different battles so your shuppet has 1 HP. Then you use a pomeg berry to take it down 1 health, thus fainting it. Thus fainting your whole team and you won’t end up whiting out due to the glitch!

When you re-enter a battle, since your Pokémon are all fainted, the game throws out a decamark! I did this glitch to get to mew to shiny hunt it, but that process uses the decamark to produce an egg that allows you to summon items/warp places. However, it also produces bad eggs due to the corrupting of data.

Anywho, that’s what inspired Decamark and how they came to be in the story, though how they work in the story is a bit different; albeit still connected to this ;3
