THE WOUNDED FEMININE . For most of my life my feminine was beyond wounded, she was sealed off completely. I hid her from the world. . It was so intentional, I stopped trusting my intuition, after all how could I trust it after it lead me to trust people who hurt me so much? . And in doing so, I shut down all of my divine feminine energy too. I took birth control that completely shut my cycle off, further distancing myself from my feminine. I had no connection to my cycle or to Mother Earth. . I criticized myself for everything, the voice inside my head was my worst enemy and that judgement extended out from me into how I perceived my sisters as well. I beat myself up and insisted on nothing less than perfection. . I dug into my masculine energy hard. I pushed and tried to force my will on everything. It worked for a while but there was always this small whisper of there being something more. . About 6 months ago I decided to totally overhaul my life. I took out my IUD, I sat in circle with my sisters and began to face my shadow and heal myself, I went back to therapy, I started going to acupuncture, I quit smoking weed, I quit drinking, I started meditating and using mantras of trust and surrender. . MAGIC HAPPENED. I started feeling so much more in tune with the earth. I started creating again. I made room and space in my life to receive and attract what I wanted to me. I started feeling more connected to my sisters, I found so much power that I had been locking away and hiding. . I came alive. .
