After 3 years of daydreaming about pinecones and conifers, I think this my final rough draft. I've been devoted to the concept of pinecones in art for a long time and haven't always been able to afford the tests and resources to make it happen. These pinecone/resin slices won't become anything in particular, but their desendants will hopefully be numerous. 3 years ago, hardly anybody made anything out of pinecones. I could only ever find knife scales and pens. Over the years I've watched a few people beat me to the punch, coasters and jewelry and such -- but I'm still dreaming!
