SELF-REPLICATION  • taeri can instantly make perfect replicas of herself, splitting them into multiple individual beings and being able to recombine her clones as will.

HIVE MIND  • taeri can mentally command her sentient clones to do her bidding without speaking a word. she also has the ability to know and control what they are doing if need be, and gain information from them.

MULTIPRESENCE  • taeri's clones are fully sentient extensions of herself with independent thought. this means that she can be at multiple places at once doing different things; when her clones are called back to her, she absorbs all knowledge, skills, and memories that the clone has learned.

LIMITATIONS

the length of time she can sustain her clones directly depends on her energy level ⏤ it increases with the number of clones she replicates. if too much energy is spent she will pass out and the clones will automatically disappear, and it could take multiple days for her to recover from.

splitting clones, instead of splitting from originally taeri, can split the anomaly and cause each new clone to become weaker.

taeri can also feel significant damage or death that comes to her clones as well, and it will hit her when they are called back in to her and she will need to recover from it. pain or struggle to the original taeri will also cause her sentient clones to feel them as well; too much will cause her to lose concentration and the clones will disappear.

having three or more clones doing different taxing things at one time can stress her out and exhaust her brain, causing her to pass out.

SPIDER PHYSIOLOGY — sohee possesses the proportionate attributes and abilities of spiders. she does not have the ability to physically transform into a spider (for example, she cannot grow an extra six appendages), but she can mimic a spider’s capabilities.

WALL CRAWLING — sohee can mentally control the electrostatic force between boundaries, which allow for election attraction, rather than repulsion, to prevail. in other words, she can stick to and walk on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.

ENHANCED STRENGTH — some spiders can lift objects nearly 50 times their body weight; sohee bears proportional strength. with some effort, she could lift a car or jump up one or two stories.

SPIDER SENSE — sohee’s reflexes, agility, balance, and bodily coordination are almost superhuman. she is extraordinarily limber and has a high acrobatic prowess that reacts fast to external triggers.

LIMITATIONS

sohee’s physiology is not exactly 1:1 with a spider’s. for example, while spiders can move very fast for their size and weight, sohee can only run at the speed of a typical athlete.

spiders don’t react well to extremely cold or extremely hot temperatures, and neither does sohee! in those extreme temperatures, her abilities gradually wane or lose their edge.

most venoms and poisons do not trigger sohee’s spider sense because the symbiotes contained in those substances are typically familiar and non-threatening to spider physiologies. her spider sense would thus most likely be useless against a user who can manipulate poison. and, as nimble and agile as she is, she can only react quickly if her spider sense is triggered; disabling her spider sense would be a massive disadvantage to her.

her human stamina makes it so that her strength endurance does have an upper limit. she would physically be unable to endure large amounts of weight for long periods of time.

she often accidentally sticks to objects and other things because she is passively using her wall crawling power.

DANGER DETECTION  •  when faced with impending danger, hyunjoo's precognitive visions enable her to sense threats. she receives brief flashes of events that pose a danger to herself or others.

BUBBLE MANIPULATION  •  the user is able to control bubbles.

BUBBLE AURA  •  the user is able to surround herself in bubbles. the bubbles act as a layer of protection, rendering the user untouchable for a period of time. she is able to use the bubbles to travel by floating.

REFLECTION MANIPULATION  •  when manipulating bubbles, the user is also able to create, shape & manipulate reflections as light reflects off the bubbles.

CLEANLINESS INDUCEMENT  •  the user is able to clean things that are dirty, animate or inanimate, by covering them in bubbles - when the bubbles dissipate, the thing in question will be clean.

LIMITATIONS

LIMITATION RELATING TO BUBBLE MANIPULATION  •  selena "should" be able to conjure bubbles at will, but due to her current lack of expertise in her power, she typically can only work with pre-existing bubbles... and there aren't a whole lot of those just floating around.

LIMITATION RELATING TO BUBBLE MANIPULATION  •  because bubbles pop relatively easily, her power isn't terribly useful. she has to have little to no resistance/interference to get much done with it.

LIMITATION RELATING TO BUBBLE AURA  •  as somewhat mentioned above, the bubbles are pretty delicate, soo... not very practical. when using her bubble aura to travel, gravity gives no grace: the bubbles don't seem to last very long, and when they pop, selena will hit the ground.

LIMITATION RELATING TO REFLECTION MANIPULATION  •  selena has no power over true reflections: without her bubbles, there's nothing she can do, and if there's no bright light to reflect, she can't create/conjure anything to work with.

LIMITATIONS

INVISIBILITY LIMITATION  •  she only remains invisible for as long as she is untouched. any contact with other beings will automatically reveal her form.

INVISIBILITY LIMITATION  •  danbi remains detectable through non-human perception, such as through cameras, infrared optics and other forms of machinery, as well as through heat signature or extrasensory reception

ENERGY DRAIN  •  sera is able to siphon energy from living organisms. she can drain physical energy from a target, making them physically weaker or causing them fatigue while gaining their strength and stamina. in those with preternatural abilities, she leeches off of the energy source that grants them use of their power, subsequently weakening their ability. those without the unique gene, she siphons their life source energy instead, which can lead to death.

ENERGY ABSORPTION  •  as sera siphons energy from a source, she is able to use said energy to restore her own. essentially, she can use this as a means of regenerating her health.

POWER DRAIN  • sera is able to drain the abilities of preternaturally gifted beings and temporarily nullify their abilities.

DEATH INDUCEMENT •  sera can drain a being's energy until it dies by a lingering touch. however, this is only applies to those without the gene that causes preternatural abilities.

LIMITATIONS

sera's ability to drain energy is reduced to mainly touch and is not under her control by any means. it is constantly active therefore, before the invention of nullivi, she had to restrain from any sort of physical contact.

not unlike the effects of stimulants that affect humans, the more she consumes, the more like she is to form a dependency. an unhealthy relationship with absorbing other's energy can ensue thus why she only uses her powers in moderation.

too much energy can have deleterious effects on her body, which is to say she could overdose on energy and cause harm to her person.

when siphoning a person's power, the effects of the drain only last for a limited amount of time. that being said, the length of time spent draining impacts how much of their power is weakened. 

sera cannot induce death in the preternaturally gifted but can in those with a normal genetic make up.

MAIN ABILITY  •  FORCE FIELD GENERATION — nana can create force-fields out of psychic energy, centred on or around her. these fields manifest as a mirror-like surface with imperceptible edges. they are capable of reflecting approaching objects and/or energy attacks. 

APPLICATION 1  • SENSORY FIELD PERCEPTION — she can generate a field that can be used to detect whatever occupies it. this expands nana’s perception beyond the limitations of her physical body and allows her to gain awareness of her surroundings without the aid of her senses. 

APPLICATION 2  •  CONCEALMENT FIELD PROJECTION — generating a cubic field that conceals everything inside of it by manipulating mirrored light. 

LIMITATIONS

regarding her MAIN ABILITY, her force-fields are futile against biomaterial (material derived from biological organisms like plants, animals, and other life forms). 

equally, the more force fields produced in succession (as she can only create two at a time), the less durable and long-lasting they become.

nana’s SENSORY FIELD PERCEPTION is effective up to half a mile of her person and cannot perceive living beings, only providing a visualisation of an inanimate environment and the objects within it.

CONCEALMENT FIELD PROJECTION is only effective within 10 metres of her person, and limited to visual concealment of about 2 cubic metres. this particular ability is known to cause migraines that are only treatable with the consumption of nullivi.

BLOOD EMPOWERMENT  •  ziying can ingest blood to make herself stronger. ingesting her own blood provides her with an enhanced physical condition; ingesting the blood of others allows her to adopt a single property of the other person.

ENHANCED CONDITION  •  ingesting her own blood gives ziying an enhanced physical condition ( i.e., strength, speed, agility, durability ) beyond what is achievable for a typical person. depending on the amount consumed, her physique can be enhanced two to four times above her usual.

TRANSFORMATIONAL MIMICRY  •  ingesting the blood of others gives ziying the ability to adopt the properties of someone else. currently, she can only adopt a single property from someone ( e.g., appearance, physical condition, mental condition, one application of an anomaly's power ). ziying transforms or mimics that single property after consumption.

LIMITATIONS

blood consumption is generally not a pleasant experience, and can also be difficult to obtain. ( although, ziying has particularly sharp canines. she's done the math. )

the combination of the quantity and freshness of blood consumed affects the strength and duration of her empowerment. this determines the strength of her physical condition or the respective property obtained from her target, as well as the duration, which can range from twenty minutes to seven hours.

currently, ziying can only maintain one application at a time, either holding her enhanced condition or adopting one property of another, but not both at the same time. when switching between applications or when the empowerment duration has expired, the enhancement melts off ziying as a viscous sludge.

although there is no cooldown period between uses of her ability, there is a delay of a few minutes between consumption and empowerment, during which ziying will not be able to access her power.

ziying's enhanced condition requires more energy to maintain than regular metabolic processes. this causes her to sleep for twice the amount of time that her enhanced condition was in use, after the enhanced condition has been expelled from her body.

ziying's transformational mimicry is currently limited to a single property from her target. she also has no control over which property she will adapt, which may lead to enhancements that are useless to her.

if the property ziying adopts is an anomaly's power, she would not have their mastery or understanding of their power. she would also be limited by her existing physical condition when using their power.

SHADOW MARIONETTE  •  to possess the ability to interact with objects and manipulate the motor functions of people, including suspension or flight, through shadows. this manipulation works under the premise that people and objects cannot be detached from their shadows, and so their physical body will be forced to move in accordance with their shadows. in order to manipulate or interact with objects or people, sumi can telekinetically stretch her shadow independently of her physical body to fuse with the object or person she wishes to control.

SHADOW SUMMONING  •  to possess the ability to summon the shadows of objects or entities without requiring its physical body. this summoning occurs when sumi creates shadow puppets with her hands and/or body, and cannot exist as a separate shadow outside of her own. this means that when summoning the shadows of objects or entities, sumi cannot also use her shadow to interact with and/or manipulate objects or people. once summoned, she can use these shadows to interact with objects or people, such as using a leopard’s bite, or a goat’s horns to attack. following this example, the object or person will obtain physical wounds from this attack, as though attacked in real life.

LIMITATIONS

sumi’s shadow can only merge with and thus, control one object or person at a time, and the range of control is limited by the shadow’s surface area. this refers to the fact that shadows, including sumi’s shadow, can only stretch a limited distance away from the body. this distance is also limited by the source of light, as brighter lights cast stronger shadows.

some presence of light is required in order for sumi’s shadow to be cast, and for her to be able to access her powers. given that shadows are always cast in the presence of light, sumi’s shadow can thus move and interact with objects even if she is unconscious. in this instance, it is usually her subconscious ( e.g. dreams ) that maintains control over her shadow.

sumi’s summoning is limited to the puppets that she can form with her hands and/or body and disregards all other objects ( e.g. paper cut-outs ), so often, this summoning is limited to the shadows of animals like dogs, leopards, goats, and the like. similarly to her main power, all limitations of shadows ( e.g. range of control, presence and strength of light source ) applies to her summoning. sumi's summoning is currently undiscovered.

LUNAR EMBODIMENT  •  haerin embodies the very essence of the moon; it's a part of her and she is a part of it. this sort of symbiosis allows her to manipulate and harness various powers associated with it. their relationship is such that she even emits a gentle glow during the night or whenever the moon is visible.

LUNAR LEVITATION  •  haerin can levitate and fly due to her unique gravitational field which is influenced by her connection to the moon. this ability allows for swift and agile movement both on the ground and in their air. note, the feat actually lies in staying grounded as she has a perpetual air to her step.

LUNAR ENERGY MANIPULATION  •  depending on what phase it is currently in, haerin can borrow or return energy to the moon. in this way she can manipulate lunar energy and use it to her advantage; she can channel it to create intense bursts of moonlight which can blind her opponents temporarily. it can also be used defensively, in which haerin forms a protective barrier using condensed moonlight that appears as dense as metal.

LUNAR EMPOWERMENT •  during a full moon, haerin gains strength from the moon, enhancing her physical condition. she becomes stronger, faster and more durable. she's also able to draw upon the moon's sustenance to heal herself if injured.

LIMITATIONS

haerin's powers are closely tied to the phases of the moon. during a new moon, her abilities are at their weakest and any prolonged use of her powers during this time can lead to physical and mental fatigue. during eclipses her power is essentially nullified and she is at her weakest.

the luminescence she emits can unintentionally reveal her presence, making her ability very obvious. unless she's on nullivi, which she never is outside of class, stealth is her weak point in the darker hours.

levitation is more challenging during the new moon phase, making her movement heavier and less agile. she is only able to levitate a few inches off the ground around this phase. that being said, she is only able to take proper flight during a full moon phase.

haerin can either use her lunar energy manipulation either offensively or defensively at a time, but not concurrently. furthermore, the intensity and duration of these abilities depend heavily on the moon's phase, for example, during a full moon they are at their strongest and most viable but during a new moon they are rather weak.

haerin's lunar empowerment is only effective during the period of a full moon which spans three days typically. during other phases of the moon such as a new moon, she has to sacrifice her own energy to restore the moon's strength which makes her weaker.

SENSORY SCRYING  •  the ability to perceive through other people's senses, enabling the user to see, hear, smell, taste and feel the same things as their chosen host without their knowledge.

LIMITATIONS

soojung can only borrow the senses of humans.

soojung needs to have a clear mental presence of her host. the closer the person is to her, the easier it becomes. she can easily borrow from someone she has direct visual contact with, but it takes a good level of familiarity for her to take someone in her memory as a host.

scrying feels somewhat like watching two movies at once. soojung can shift focus from her own senses to her host's with some ease, but she can never fully focus on both. the more she focuses on the host, the easier it is to maintain the link, and vice versa.

she can perform mechanical, muscle memory tasks that don't require thought while scrying, like walking a well known path or pretending to read. but if anything requires a minimal amount of attention or distracts her, the connection is broken.

even in optimal conditions, establishing the connection with a host and maintaining take a lot of mental power. she's able to hold the connection for about four minutes if nothing pulls her focus, with the host's senses becoming increasingly fainter during the last minute.

while she can't feel any of her host's emotions nor the other way around, both of their emotional statuses influence in how clear and stable the link is. if either of them is in significant distress, the scrying becomes both less strong and more prone to break.

because the link requires so much focus, once it's broken it's nearly impossible for her to connect with anyone for at least a couple hours. she typically won't do it more than once a day, sleep allows her to recharge the ability fully.

MAIN ABILITY  •  psychic energy manipulation - ability to manipulate psychic or mental energy to interact with the environment, objects or beings around her.

PSYCHOKINESIS  •  ability to interact with objects and beings, either moving or manipulating them, around her through mental effort alone.

PSYCHIC CONSTRUCTS  •  ability to solidify her psychic energy and shape it in the form of images, shapes and objects.

PSYCHIC ENERGY ABSORPTION • ability to absorb psychic energy, removing it from its source, into her body and being able to use it as her own like a power source.  

LIMITATIONS

needs a minimum amount of focus and energy to keep her ability activated that may vary depending on how long she keeps it activated and the size, number and the distance of the target and how much of her ability she's using on them on top of her own mental state.

the more demanding of focus and energy her ability needs, the more exhausted she gets and the more rest she needs afterwards, becoming barely functional if at all for days even. she's also prone to headaches when overexerting herself and if she keeps using her power regardless then she'll start bleeding either through her ears and/or her nose.

since her psychokineses and psychic constructs use the same source of energy (psychic energy) then using more of one automatically means that she can use less of the other unless she restores her energy in some way, either resting or taking it from someone else.

LIMITATION RELATING TO PSYCHOKINESES  •  even though she can manipulate objects and beings around her, she can't change their characteristics nor their composition and the target needs to be in her field of view for this ability to be activated, the closer it is the better is her hold on it.

LIMITATION RELATING TO PSYCHIC CONSTRUCTS • even though she can replay short memories for others to see, she can't create living beings with her power and the more complicated what she wants to make is, the more draining it is.

is limited to things that she can imagine or that she knows. the more knowledgeable about the object she's making, from small details to its composition, the closer to the original object it is and in the same way if she remembers something vaguely/doesn't know much of it more unstable and flimsy it is.

they can't interact with the physical world no matter how detailed/stable the construct is, almost like an hologram.

LIMITATION RELATING TO PSYCHIC ENERGY ABSORPTION • the target must have a psionic kind of power and she does not gain the ability of whoever she got that energy from.

she must touch the target for it to be activated. there's also a limitation of how much energy she can absorb without getting side effects like she overused her powers and if she keeps trying to absorb at one point it'll stop working. the less psychic energy she has left, the more she can absorb.

even though she can leave the target in a weakened state and/or makes it harder for them to use their ability, she still is unable to nullify their power nor completely deplete them of their psychic energy regardless of how empty of it she is.

it's an ability that requires time so it takes her at the very least a couple of minutes (around ten minutes) of constant physical contact with someone for it to be effective/noticeable to them.

ILLUSION MANIPULATION  •  user can manipulate illusions/hallucinations causing targets to hear, see, touch, smell, and taste things differently from what they truly are.

VERTIGO INDUCEMENT  •  targets subjected to user’s illusion manipulation experience confusion, disorientation, and/or nausea while being subjected to illusion/hallucination

PAIN INDUCEMENT •  user is able to trick the target’s mind into believing they are experiencing excruciating pain.

EUPHORIA INDUCEMENT  •  user can induce feelings of euphoria by tricking target’s mind into believing their pleasure centers of the brain are being stimulated.

LIMITATIONS

The user is subjected to the same illusion that their intended target is experiencing. This includes feeling the same feelings of pain and euphoria that the target may experience, despite actively knowing that they are experiencing an illusion.

All illusions after a certain time frame result in vertigo inducement for both target and user. Severity of vertigo depends on how long the illusion continues.

The range of the user’s power is severely limited. For best results, the user must have skin to skin contact with intended target. Any distance more than 6ft results in very weak illusions, user is unable to create illusions for a target more than 10ft away.

Euphoria inducement has addictive properties for target as well as user, long term use theoretically could cause permanent damage to pleasure receptors in brain.

User is unable to target more than two individuals at any one time as she feels experiences the same illusion per target(i.e. if one target is subject to pain inducement, the user experiences the same pain once, if the user is targeting two targets, the user would feel the same pain twofold.)

Creating and maintaining illusions is physically and mentally exhausting. Long term, maintained illusions will result in physical side effects for the user not limited to, nosebleeds, migraines, nausea, and fainting spells.

BIO-ENERGY MANIPULATION  •  user can manipulate bio-energy; a living energy (life force energy) that is generated and contained by a living body. being relatively inexperienced, sebin primarily focuses on extracting energy for her own empowerment and infusing it into others for temporary enhancement. the strength of life force energy in each living being, influenced by emotions, mental state, and physical well-being, determines the effectiveness of harnessing another person's energy for personal use. the stronger an individual's life force energy, the more impactful it is when extracted for personal use. additionally, her ability is limited to boosting physical and mental attributes, with no capacity to induce death when draining individuals of their energy.

BIO-ENERGY EMPOWERMENT  •  refers to the ability to gain strength from bio-energy. said energy is typically drawn from other individuals, can be stored and used to enhance physical and mental attributes. attributes include increased stamina, durability, heightened focus, and improved memory recall.

BIO-ENERGY DRAIN  •  involves extracting life force energy from living beings, often leaving them weakened or fatigued. sebin can harness the drained energy for personal empowerment or infuse it into other beings to temporarily enhance their vitality.

BIO-ENERGY INFUSION  •  the deliberate transfer or enhancement of life force energy within a living being. when infused into others, it temporarily empowers them similarly to sebin, enhancing physical and mental attributes. the effectiveness depends on both the individual’s charged energy and their own life force. so if individual has low life force energy, the boost’s effectiveness will be minimal or perhaps even nonexistent. sebin cannot infuse all her energy into someone, as it would hypothetically leave her drained to the point of peril.

LIMITATIONS

to infuse or harness another living being's bio-energy, user must be in close proximity to the target. physical touch is the most effective.

sebin own life force energy, particularly off nullivi, is delicate, influenced by her fluctuating emotions. this has led her into an unhealthy reliance on others' energy for sustenance. the duration she can store energy is tied to its expenditure, with physical activities depleting it faster (within a few hours) than mental ones. overusing energy results in fatigue, weakness, and emotional instability. nullivi patches help stabilise her emotions, reduce the need for external energy, and allow her to sustain her own energy for longer periods.

when infusing bio-energy into other living organisms, sebin cannot determine the specific aspect(s) that will be enhanced. additionally, the empowerment derived from bio-energy, whether through harnessing or infusing, is temporary in nature and similarly to sebin, depends on how fast the person burns through the energy. physical activities (i.e sports) burn energy faster than cognitive enhancements.

sebin's energy absorption has its limits; she can draw energy from multiple individuals with low life force, but stronger life force individuals reach her saturation point faster, eliminating the need to drain multiple people.

sebin's ability centers solely on life force energy. while the person's physical and mental state influences the strength of their life force, absorbing their energy doesn't grant access to emotions or powers. it is also important to note that sebin cannot heal others with the infusion of bio-energy, as this would require a distinctive set of abilities directly related to ailments (e.g cellular regeneration, tissue repair, etc.)

SHAPESHIFTING  •  an ability that allows seolbin to transform into other, living organisms by altering her physical form and appearance. seolbin is able to inherit the memories of the individual she's transformed into. 

LIMITATIONS

seolbin requires a visual reference for her transformation processes, like a picture. she cannot transform into anyone she has not physically witnessed.

seolbin's transformations would break if she were to be physically wounded.

the inheritance of another person's memory comes at the expense of her own psyche, bleeding into her subconscious. her sense of self and what she's actually experienced is sullied, making her recollection of events — more often than not — tattered and inconsistent. her personality also appropriates certain aspects of the shape she's taken on.
