SELF-REPLICATION  • taeri can instantly make perfect replicas of herself, splitting them into multiple individual beings and being able to recombine her clones as will.

HIVE MIND  • taeri can mentally command her sentient clones to do her bidding without speaking a word. she also has the ability to know and control what they are doing if need be, and gain information from them.

MULTIPRESENCE  • taeri's clones are fully sentient extensions of herself with independent thought. this means that she can be at multiple places at once doing different things; when her clones are called back to her, she absorbs all knowledge, skills, and memories that the clone has learned.

LIMITATIONS

the length of time she can sustain her clones directly depends on her energy level ⏤ it increases with the number of clones she replicates. if too much energy is spent she will pass out and the clones will automatically disappear, and it could take multiple days for her to recover from.

splitting clones, instead of splitting from originally taeri, can split the anomaly and cause each new clone to become weaker.

taeri can also feel significant damage or death that comes to her clones as well, and it will hit her when they are called back in to her and she will need to recover from it. pain or struggle to the original taeri will also cause her sentient clones to feel them as well; too much will cause her to lose concentration and the clones will disappear.

having three or more clones doing different taxing things at one time can stress her out and exhaust her brain, causing her to pass out.

POISON GENERATION  •  generates poisons (hemotoxins) from her fingertips, and has the ability to control the potency. side-effects can range from mild headaches, disrupted vision and nausea to more lethal, fatal ones such as brain damage, cellular disintegration and unconsciousness.

INFECTION •  able to infect others through physical contact and through the air, affecting individuals in close proximity

IMMUNITY  •  completely immune to her own poison

LIMITATIONS

EMOTIONS •  she needs to be in a calm state of mind when she's using her powers, as her emotions detrimentally affect her powers. the more intense her feelings are, the less control she will have over them. high risk of infecting others with fatal levels of toxins when aggravated.

PHYSICAL CHANGE  •  frequent use of her powers will result in her fingertips turning ashy-black. overexertion will cause extreme fatigue, darkening of her pupils and veins visibly pulse with a shadowy, almost obsidian substance. will take a few days for her to recover.

DISTANCE  •  requires target to be in close proximity. the most effective way of infecting others is through direct touch, and if airborne, the poison can only reach a limited range. the further away they are, the less potent it will be.

SUSCEPTIBILITY  •  susceptible to other poison / toxic / venom that is not generated by herself. unfortunately, she does not have any antidotal capabilities!

METAL MANIPULATION • nayeon has the ability of either manipulating or shaping metal, a solid material ( an element, compound, or alloy ) that is typically hard, shiny, and features good electrical and thermal conductivity at her own will. not only that, she's able to alter and manipulate the properties of different metals with ease.

METAL DETECTATION • nayeon is able to sense the presence of metals in her vicinity and gain a detailed understanding of the metal. she's also able to determine the size of metal structures they are sensing by determining the amount and whether or not that metal is hidden.

METAL CONSTRUCT • nayeon can turn metals into different forms and objects of varying detail and permanence, ranging from simple shapes and images, to individual elements, substances and materials, to functional items such as tools and weapons to even smaller forms of structures.

METAL MIMICRY • nayeon has the abilities of transforming her body completely into metals by simply touching nearby sources of metal. she'll gain different varied abilities depending on different metals, whichever she's mimicking at the moment.

LIMITATIONS

LIMITED SOURCES • nayeon doesn't have the ability of creating metal, therefore she's limited to manipulating only from already existing sources.

DEPENDABILITIES • her metal-sensing detections are fully depending on her natural senses. therefore, if any of her senses is undergoing any problems — she be unable to detect the metals as well.

LIMITED MEANS • nayeon's abilities of constructing metal is being limited to shaping from already existing sources. therefore, she'd have a harder time of constructing if her resources of metals are lacking. and she'd only knew how to construct metal into things she knows, therefore most constructions will be limited on the complexity on the structures.

VULNERABILITY • while her metal-turned body is impenetrable to most attacks and provides good protection from any harm, vulnerable to all effects that would affect normal metals, including heat or magnetism and especially electricity — depending on the metal in question. she may also have to sacrificed her agility and become extremely heavy due to her metal-body.

SUSCEPTIBILITIES  •  nayeon is can be weak towards to magnetism, although some metals (such as gold) are not magnetic/not strongly magnetic. but most of all, nayeon's powers is extremely susceptible to electricity as metal conducts electricity.

CRYOKINESIS • his ability works similar to (as cheesy as it sounds) elsa’s of frozen. he can manipulate ice into various shapes or things he needs, or just freeze things, make blizzards, create little statues, etc.

SNOW MANIPULATION • he can manipulate snow and blizzards however he chooses. for example, making it snow, making the weather (only around him) cold, etc.

CRYOTELEKINESIS • he can move, manipulate, or interact with any matter using ice. this is mainly for moving ice or allowing him to form it into things he wants. for example, he makes little ice sculptures around the school.

LIMITATIONS

LIMITATION RELATING TO THEIR MAIN ABILITY • he constantly wears gloves. his hands are always freezing, and because of this, he can sometimes freeze things on accident. the gloves prevent this from happening.

LIMITATION RELATING TO THEIR MAIN ABILITY • he is terrible with handling heat. in fact, he hates the heat. for most of the summer, he tends to stay indoors and will get sick.

LIMITATION RELATING TO APPLICATION 1 • his hands tend to go numb from making snow because it is so cold.

SHAPESHIFTING  •  Euijin has the ability to alter his appearance or form. He is able to change his shape, size, color, density, texture, cellular composition. Through learning about other beings, he is able to mimic their appearance and composition.

BIOMORPHING •  The ability to take the appearance of other (living) beings. POST-MORTEM SHAPESHIFTING  •  The ability to shift into any (formerly living) being they've killed. FEAR/DESIRE MORPHING  •  The ability to take form of others' fear or desire.

LIMITATIONS

While shifting, Euijin is vulnerable to taking damage. If he is in excessive pain, becomes unconscious or were to die, then he may be involuntarily forced back to his original form.

Staying in a single form may have negative effects on Euijin. He may suffer from energy loss, change of behavior and may even malfunction.

Euijin may need awareness of any and all living forms' limitations and weaknesses; for all living things must abide by the laws of the shape they inhabit.

While Euijin is able to post-mortem shift, he must do so through touch. With this he will automatically absorb their memories, positive and negative taking a piece of their soul in the learning process to morph into them. The weight of the many negative memories and the murder he's committed may lead to him stray away from this ability.

Euijin is only able to take form of someone's active fear and/or desire if he's learned about it. Meaning he must discover this through someone telling him or finding out another way. This being said, if the person conquers their fear while Euijin is shifted then he will be forced back to his original form.

VICE INDUCEMENT  •  woojin has the ability to induce moral vices such as greed, sloth, lust, wrath or pride in living things. for as long as effects last, whichever vice or vices the subject is most inclined towards will continue to appreciate. an affected individual can gradually lose the ability to self regulate, control impulses, and maintain responsibility to themselves or others.

A SLOW DESCENT •  a person who is exposed to this effect long term may begin to cause harm or damage to themselves, others, or to their environment.

LIMITATIONS

the anomaly is most often slow acting, unfocused and sporadic, going unnoticed by woojin. these common incidents are short lived, and can be dangerous but never fatal. 

the anomaly requires proximity, and effects are almost impossible to discern immediately. a full and dangerous progression may take weeks or months.

the anomaly can be quicker and more effective with intent, but intent causes exhaustion, and a rebound effect.

INVISIBILITY  •  easton is able to willingly render himself unseen by the naked eye, most of the time. he can move about an environment unseen by others and act without being observed.

INVISIBILITY EXTENSION  •  he has the power to willingly hide objects and even other subjects from optical sight by touching or holding them. he can also choose not to. in that case, the object or person he is holding will look as though they are floating.

LIMITATIONS

emotional and physical state can affect his will to become invisible. the weaker his emotions are (sense of calm, logical thinking) or the stronger his physical state is, the easier it is for him to control whether he is invisible or visible, as if there was a light switch inside his mind. the stronger his emotions or the weaker his physical is, the harder it is for him to control his visibility. this can cause him to flicker in and out of his visible state.

invisibility in easton’s case is only applicable to concealment from the human eye. other senses, such as smell, touch, and hearing will be able to pick up on his presence. he still emits heat, casts a faint shadow, and will leave footprints. his invisible form can be captured by cameras, infrared optics, and other similar machinery. furthermore, anyone with a non-human sense of perception, extrasensory awareness, etc., will be able to sense his presence as well. 

it takes an amount of focus to hide other objects or people in his invisible state, and he cannot render other objects invisible while he is in his visible state. there is a size limitation for his invisibility extension as well, he wouldn’t be able to hide an entire building or even a couch. his clothes take the least focus to extend invisibility to (as they feel like an extension of himself), while other people take the most focus to hide.

SEISMOKINESIS  • his power grants him control over seismic forces and geological phenomena. it involves manipulating shockwaves to create earthquakes, summon tsunamis, tectonic movements, and other geological activities. 

SEISMIC WAVES •  being able to manipulate seismic energy enables him to create and control vibrations, allowing him to unleash powerful shockwaves that decimate his surroundings. these shockwaves then can be redirected into the ground, resulting in earthquakes and, if under the seafloor, tsunamis of varying multitudes. he could also redirect his punches or kicks towards a body.

EARTH ALTERATION  •  he can manipulate the ground to modify landscapes, create barriers, walls or even build structures.

GEOMAGNETIC SENSITIVITY  •  he senses and understands the Earth's magnetic field. it allows him to predict natural disasters, sense movement or locating hidden resources underground.

LIMITATIONS

manipulating seismic forces takes a toll on his body and extended or intense use of his powers can cause muscle strain and headaches. his emotional state affects his control over his powers. intense emotions like anger or fear might amplify his abilities uncontrollably. additionally, he has to sustain a high level of concentration for precise manipulation of his powers and any distractions or mental lapses can result in a loss of control.

seismic waves : as mentioned before, his emotional state affects his control over his abilities. under emotional stress, they might cause localized shakes, capable of impacting small-scale buildings or causing structural damage within a 5km radius. the highest magnitude an earthquake can ever reach is 6.5. the extent of damage resulting from his earthquakes depends on a lot of factors, such as building integrity, soil conditions, population density, and other environmental aspects. the farther the reach, the less control he has over the impact, potentially causing unintended harm to both the environment and people within the area.

earth alteration: he is limited to natural earth formations, restricting him from creating precise shapes. above ground level, he can craft smaller-scale versions of dunes, mountains (max. 9 metres) and cliffs for example. as for his beneath the surface alterations, he can create holes, cracks or tunnels.

geomagnetic sensitivity: to sense movements underground, he must establish direct contact with the ground, either by being barefoot or using his hands. unlike his seismic waves, which tend to have a broader impact, his sensitivity operates within a more confined radius, approximately 500 meters. however, he can perceive deeper into the ground, sensing disturbances or changes up to around 1 kilometer beneath the surface.

underwater, his range remains the same. however to sense, anything he needs to be fully immersed in the water. depending on the depth, his ability can be become ineffective.

his ability can be influenced by disruptions caused by powerful artificial electromagnetic sources (such as high-voltage power lines, transformers, or MRI machines.)

whether it's the ground, a building, or a person's body, for his powers to take effect he has to touch the surface/body (though only his geomagnetic sensitivity requires a skin-to-ground contact).

seojun is afraid of his powers and willingly limits himself when it comes to their use.

LIMITATIONS

Jaewon has incredibly limited control of his power and as such, doesn’t have the ability to “turn off” or “tune out” the thoughts of others without the use of nullivi.

Radius in which he can hear thoughts is very low, generally speaking he is unable to hear or communicate telepathically with anyone more than 10 feet away from him.

While he can communicate telepathically, the ability only works with someone who’s mind is “open” to them, i.e. he cannot communicate to just anyone and certain preconditions usually in the form of a personal connection must exist in order for him to be able to us this application of his ability.

LUCK MANIPULATION  •  sera is able to manipulate both fortune and misfortune, making good/bad things happen to herself or other people. her eyes turn green or black, according to the kind of luck that she manifests.

LUCK AUGMENTATION  •  sera can enhance, augment, decrease and increase the luck (good or bad) of oneself and/or of others by looking, touching or even thinking about them. this can range from unexpected healing or catching the bus on time, to experiencing a fatal accident or forgetting to submit an assignment.

SURVIVAL LUCK  •  she (or another person) is always fortunate to live in spite of accidents, ordeals or difficult circumstances.

LIMITATIONS

her luck manipulation can manifest on its own when her feelings are not regulated. with heightened emotions, she can cause great fortune or even hex someone without a conscious use of her power.

she can influence someone's luck within the limits of the laws of physics. this means that she cannot personally make someone have exacerbated speed to get to a class faster, but good luck would make it more likely for the lecturer to run late too.

the ability weakens sera both physically and mentally. depending on the gravity of the fortune/misfortune, she may need a few seconds to recalibrate or a week of rest.

she has little to no control over the way that survival luck manifests. therefore, sera or the person influenced by the application can be virtually unharmed or heavily injured after a life or death situation.

(SPIRIT) MEDIUMSHIP • limited to spirits only, luo is able to communicate, perceive, and interact with the dead: they often manifest as voices and little whispers in his head, though he does see them as well. the level of how extreme a manifestation can get depends heavily on the power of the spirit, as well as the head space luo is in when it happens.

DEAD TALKER • as a result of constantly getting haunted by the spirits around him, luo’s first and main application is his ability to talk to the dead. though they mostly talk to him to tease him, they sometimes can provide intel when he is in danger or in need of it. the spirits that talk to him are not necessarily his friends though, and will sometimes also lead him towards danger! 

POSSESSION • known as an easy target by many spirits that haunt his regular surroundings, luo is unfortunately a conduit - or a host. because he isn’t comfortable with this application just yet, he has trouble fighting off spirits who try to take over his body and more often than not, they end up succeeding. getting possessed by spirits usually happens at night when his guard is completely down.  

CLAIRVOYANCE • luo is able to see spirits and ghosts only if they wish to manifest themselves to him. they often do to scare him, though some of them seek him out in order for him to fulfill random little requests. jokingly known as side quests within his group of friends, fulfilling these requests is the easiest way for luo to get on a spirit’s good side! 

LIMITATIONS

LIMITATION(S) RELATING TO APPLICATION 1:

some spirits speak through code, which forces luo to spend a lot of time translating certain messages (which often end up being nothing important, anyways!)

the spirits he is the most familiar with learned to manifest as voices in his head, though he must speak out loud in order for them to hear him! this often leads to him looking a little crazy…

headache and migraines + he gets sensory overloaded very fast! 

LIMITATION(S) RELATING TO APPLICATION 2:

getting possessed takes a huge physical toll on him. while luo is generally healthy, a medium to powerful spirit can easily get him sick. his sickness often results in a bad cold which forces him to stay in bed for the day.

his symptoms are of the following, but not limited to: fever, sore throat, intense fatigue, pounding headache, nausea/vomiting.

other symptoms can result to: intense paranoia, intense feelings of depression and dread, intense anxiety. (these symptoms usually wear off after a day or two.) 

because this is luo’s weakest application, he has little to no control over it, which means that he is often at the mercy of whatever ghost possesses him.

LIMITATION(S) RELATING TO APPLICATION 3:

intense night terrors - the spirits sometimes manifest themselves in luo’s dreams. while it is to deliver important messages at times, a lot of them do so with the objective of scaring him!

for instance, he has dreamed of his friends dying and/or of them betraying him many times. it is impossible for him to know whether the dreams are a message or a prank, which is why he can become distrustful of people over time.

WATERBENDING • sujin can create, shape and manipulate water out of sheer will (though limitations often follow). he is also able to modify the state of water and to have it alternate between solid, liquid, and vapor. in the future, his goal would be to control water related events such as rainstorms.

notes: his water-bending style is heavily inspired by avatar the last airbender and demon slayer. while he can summon small entities of water, if he wants to use it in combat or under a more serious circumstance, sujin needs to perform his summons through sequences of traditional water-bending dances similar to martial arts movements.

WATER MAKER: being his easiest and most used application, sujin can summon water from thin air fairly easily. being the essence of water bending, he can shape and manipulate water as well. 

PET MAKER • sujin can summon and give life to little pets through his water bending. these pets often help him with day to day tasks, such as fetching things for him or helping him tidy his dorm. they also aid him in combat when he is in danger or in need of a little boost to win. his main pet is a little water fox named poko.

WATER BREATHER (undiscovered) • currently unaware of this application, sujin is able to breathe underwater. he will come to discover this application eventually with the help of a certain mermaid boy who will patiently teach him the art of it. 

LIMITATIONS

the summoning of said pets can be rather draining for sujin, especially if he needs to summon more than two.

the pets can only stick around for a short amount of time before becoming a puddle of water. 

they have little to no health, meaning that in combat, people can get rid of them fairly easily.

it takes him a lot of effort to be able to contain the force that a body of water is, and he is constantly studying different techniques from different water bending clans and cultures in order to find the most optimal one for it. 

the bigger the summon is, the more tired he becomes. it has happened in the past that the boy passed out from how tiring and demanding his water bending skills were. 

sujin needs to meditate at least two or three times a week in order to center himself and be able to control the irrationality of water whenever he summons it. 

sujin can only breathe underwater for a short amount of time before needing to swim back up to the surface. 

because it feels so unnatural, the act of breathing underwater truly freaks him out and so he doesn't use it too often.

MERMAID PHYSIOLOGY  •  the user, whenever pure water makes contact with their skin, has the ability to exchange their legs for a tail. whether this be a droplet of water from a small splash, or actually getting in the water, being touched by it will cause their legs to change from legs to a tail. with this ability, it comes with an enhanced vision under water, ability to hold breath for a long time, and enhanced agility under water.

APPLICATION 1  •  this user has hydrokinesis : they can manipulate water in (3) forms: freezing water, moving water, and heating water. as long as something is wet, this user can freeze it. as long as there is water around, this user can move it. as long as there is still water, this user can heat it up to the point of evaporation.

APPLICATION 2  •  this user has hydrozoolingualism : they can speak to sea animals! they can understand and communicate (telepathically) with any and all sea animals that they choose.

LIMITATIONS

LIMITATION RELATING TO THEIR MAIN ABILITY  •  although this anomaly comes with growing an extremely cool tail, it also comes with the fact that the user is not allowed to get wet or drink water by any means. because of this, users must avoid water in public at all costs.

LIMITATION RELATING TO THEIR MAIN ABILITY  •  with this ability comes the gifts that they can swim under water extremely fast, utilize water vision, and hold their breath for up to 30 minutes. however, there is, of course, limitations to these gifts.

the user may only swim extremely fast (95kmph / 60 miles per hour) in short bursts, similar to a cheetah. the usual burst duration is for around 30 seconds, and, in turn, they are not able to use this ability again for an hour afterwards as their body needs time to rest.

the user may hold their breath for up to 30 minutes at a time. breath training may be done to extend this duration, but for most oceanids, 30 minutes is the max. this is, of course, extremely dangerous as coming up for air could cause them to be spotted by non-oceanids.

for water vision, users are able to see under water (most useful for salt water) without any issues, be it day or night. however, because of this, users will have poor eyesight out of water and must use glasses/contacts in their human form. lasik surgery is an option, however, it will take away their water vision.

LIMITATION RELATING TO APPLICATION 1  •  because of this water manipulation, there are, of course, drawbacks and limitations! for freezing water, this user is not able to control how it freezes or what exactly freezes, as there is no direction. therefore, they may freeze something they did not mean to freeze. so, as long as something is wet, it can be frozen. this user can not use this application all the time as their hands can freeze as well. in order to freeze water, their hand must be open and straight with their palm facing what they wish to freeze.

for moving water, they can move it anywhere they want, but they have no way of doing it discreetly. their hands must be up in the air to “hold it” or “move it”, so it may look funny to people in passing. in order to move water, their hand must be in a slight claw position, moving and twisting in the direction they choose.

for heating up water, this user mainly uses it to dry themselves off in a limited time. however, this can be painful as the water gets extremely hot and can burn their skin. in order to heat up water, their hand must slowly or quickly ball up into a fist facing the water they wish to heat up. depending on how fast they wish the water to heat, they can ball their fist faster or slower.

LIMITATION RELATING TO APPLICATION 2  •  this application is only limited to sea animals. they are not able to speak to any animals that do not live in the sea, which includes birds, certain mammals, fresh-water animals. in most cases, sea animals are not interested in talking, so this is generally rendered useless.

DARKNESS MIMICRY  •  the ability to transform one's entire physical being into complete darkness, allowing them to blend in with shadows and hide in dark corners. along with this change in appearance, naebin's physiology in particular becomes one with the darkness, fluid and hard to contain.

SHADOW MANIPULATION  •  once naebin has gone into her dark form, she can merge with other shadows to make the expanse of darkness bigger. she can also disperse shadows, should something need to be revealed.

INTANGIBILITY  •  when merging with other shadows, naebin's form can lose its homogenous properties and phase through solid objects or even the tiniest spaces, such as keyholes.

MAESTOKINESIS  •  with a great deal of inner strength, naebin can utilize shadows to corrupt her targets with feelings of despair and uncertainty.

LIMITATIONS

naebin's ability is greatly affected by dramatic shifts in her emotional state. major shock, sadness or embarrassment can make her turn to darkness involuntarily.

prolonged exposure to her dark form can make her friends feel uneasy or sad until they can't bear to be in the same room with her anymore.

despite being able to turn to darkness herself, she cannot create shadows. her power is limited to manipulating ones that already exist.

when merged with a shadow, naebin's speed takes a major hit, only able to move as quickly as a shadow would across a wall. if the situation calls for her to quickly phase through something, there may be nothing she can do.

prolonged use of her maestokinesis can make naebin herself feel a sense of isolation and melancholy. it can render her unable to use the sub-ability until the feelings subside.
