Kinn being seven and joyful and playing with his mark is something somewhat so personal to me and I love how you're describing it.

"Years went by. Kinn learned many lessons." Ways to break my heart with only two sentences, wow.

"Kinn met his father’s eyes, and in them he saw agreement" i just know this motherfucker was "gently nudging" Kinn in the direction of removing his seed and it makes me angry.

So first chapter broke my heart even more on the reread then the first time, good job.

Porsche and his attitude about soulmates hits way harder at the reread too when you know things, and I'm barely stopping myself from tearing up at work, damn Nemi, stop being a good writer.

Does Kinn not knowing that he and Porsche are bonded and not getting why Porsche wants his contacts breaks my heart? Yes it does.

Porsche being like all the angst and then angry at the world because no one told him he's bi somehow made me feel lighter. My precious himbo.

Aaaaa Kinn being like "this guy owes me for the disrespect" and Porsche being like "he owes me for *waves at the whole mess*" makes me so emotional because they never simply be strangers, even now when they want nothing to do with each other they feel like the other is indebted to them, connected even more so then the bondmark says. And then they heard "what do we owe to each other?" And said love and affection and I'm grrd

Oh Porsche rejecting Kinn's hand with the mermaid costume hurt unlike the gay panic™ Kinn had in the show, I am just drowning in angst.

Okay but Kinn regretting giving Porsche away immediately because of how happy Porsche is to be resigned to Tankhun? Delicious.

Okay but friendly Marsh and Porsche interaction my beloved, I can't help, I just like this slutty twink a lot.

The angstification of every soft Kinnporsche moment continues and my heart is breaking. Thanks Nemi once again.

"...or were you planning on knocking and running?” funny motherfucker, I lauged out loud.

Kinn describing Porsche as being the brightest thing in the bar when they're out after Mes mess can be so personal.

The angstification of the pier kiss always hits me, it's just such a precious moment to me and you made it hurt and i love it but also whyyyy.

Porsche's would you take me back also hits way harder because now he already has been rejected once even if Kinn didn't knew he was rejecting him and I want to hug my boy very tightly.

"Because I’m stuck in this in-between place that I can’t get away from," this made me feel things and I want to write a poem about it

Shit the after auction handling with drugged Porsche is just so tender but also painful and you can just feel the yearning that Kinn is feeling for this man that he thinks will never be his. I am deceased.

Also you're right it is very funny to imagine that Tankhun actually did give Porsche to Kinn and noone believed him.

Kim first thought being smitten, second paranoid and third smitten again is so in character for him ssksns

Okay I need you to know this made me positively crazy, like the first time I skimmed through the facts at the beginnings of the chapters and now I'm throwing a brick at myself because maybe it would prepared me for this. Like I have such a thing™ for Kinnporsche and multiple lifetimes like I wrote so many things abt it and always include it in my fics this made me crazy screaming. Do not mind me.

The more I read the more I really like feel for Kinn who just keeps getting rejected, every kind gesture after kind gesture is met with rejection and he doesn't know why, meanwhile Porsche is panicking and also he's shrugging off touches (his ways of showing affection) therefore he is deprived of them and I am screaming.

"Kinn wanted to overturn the chessboard. He put the pieces back into place." SMASH THAT THING, honestly still can't believe we didn't get any chessboard smashing in s1

I just want you to know that reading Porsche's punishment and the line "You’ve all taken enough from me, you pieces of shit" just after Kimchay interlude where Kim says that he is giving instead of taking with Chay, creates delicious contrast between the two blossoming relationship. Kimchay being sweet and a fair give and take meanwhile KinnPorsche being bitter and Porsche feeling like he's selling off more pieces of his soul away with each day. Delicious angst™

"He thought of how his name sounded when Kinn said it with a soft question mark after it." This makes me want to write a poem too, something like you say my name with a question mark after it, a sweet question, gentle demand of a response. I ache with all the answers I want to give you.

PorscheKhun feels hitting me rn, I love them so much.

"Porsche wasn’t his — couldn’t be his. He would forever be bound to someone else. " the bitter yearning hits again and I want to scream.

Brother bonding between the Kitisawats my beloved.

"Not only that, but Kinn owed Porsche for the juvenile teasing he’d received over the fire-starting attempt, the fruit, and the fishing spear. " again with the owning, I'm screaming.

"Kinn didn’t have it in him to hate Porsche’s soulmate. All he had room to feel was greed." greed also being the reason he kissed him? I'm, Nemi I'm screaming, this is my undoing. This fic is meant for binge-reading and rereading.

". I can have this. I can have at least this much. " the forest being the time the script flips and instead Porsche feeling like Kinn is taking more things from him and instead into him feeling like he gets to have Kinn is very fitting.

Porsche being a brat after the forest my beloved, like yess, go boi, be joyful and snarky and happy!

Porsche revealing his mark must have been so hurtful for Kinn at the beginning because he thought he was about to see the mark of someone else on Porsche, a proof that he doesn't get to keep him and I'm aching with that.

Tay my beloved, I love how we all agreed that Tay hated Tawan's guts. It's just how it goes.

"Grinning, he reviewed the pic. He looked cute, horny, and very explicitly marked as private property. " the money i would pay to see this pic 🤤🥴

"Porsche: How big do you think it’ll eventually get? ;)" are you asking about the bond mark or Kinn's dick? Because the answers to both is pretty fucking big

"Mine. This wild, bright thing is mine." this line also does funny things to me

I love how you write sex scenes, like just the way you convey the atmosphere and emotions through your wording and how you describe the actions, I'm in awe 💕

Kittisawat's destroying Korn propositioning schemeing plans by being their chaotic selves is something I think we all needed

The bondmark growing on Porsche is something that just destroyed me, it's such a sweet ending!! I loved that idea.

So here comes the end of my reread again, it was a pleasure and by god reading it a second time felt even more angstier somehow and I loved it even more, thank you once again for writing this 💕

I wanted to write a "conclusion" for Marsh, with him texting Porsche to take good care of Kinn, but it really didn't fit anywhere. So, just assume that at some point off screen, Marsh sent Porsche this text:

Marsh: gratz on bagging Kinn. if you ever need help keeping up with him, lemme know 🍆😈

I'm not saying TSOA quote, the one with "I could recognize him by his steps alone" one but I AM saying exactly that.

Actually! *holds up a finger* Porsche didn't recognize Kinn by his steps. His bondmark started growing, so he felt that and knew it was Kinn. 😁

The more I read the more I really like feel for Kinn

I'm very, very glad about this, tbh. I have a LOT of empathy for Kinn in this fic. He's hurting so badly and completely cannot figure out what's going on. Yes, he was the cause of his own suffering, but he was never prepared for this, to have his subconscious and conscious minds at complete war with each other.

Always!! I don't think there's a single comment I've ever received that I've left unanswered. I just love talking with my readers and screeching in my replies. I often wonder whether I come across as a tiny bit insane or overly enthusiastic, but you know what? I am both, so who cares 😂 I just appreciate every single person that has taken the time to read and comment on my works, and I want to make sure they know JUST HOW MUCH

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

I honestly don't think that many of my stories have an angsty ending? Most of them end on a hopeful or at least bittersweet note, I think. I'm pretty sure the only ones I've written that have sad endings were those in my Hector/Carmilla series, You Always Hurt The Ones You Love (CV) which were kind of dark and depressing anyway.

Playground Love, the fic I've written with @oftachancer featuring our OCs Tristan and Aran ends on an angsty note, but things do get better in the next installment, Never Let Me Go, so I suppose I am a little allergic to angsty endings XD

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

The Stars Will Guide Us Home (TSOA, Modern AU) has a super soft and fluffy ending, and Fall Into Your Tide (TSOA, Merman AU) will have a happy ending too.

Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you've written?

I've written a Witcher/Dragon Age crossover, Viper In Tall Grass, where Tristan is a witcher and Dorian a Nilfgardian mage which I thoroughly enjoyed! Also, one of the first long fics I ever finished was a Witcher/Wheel of Time crossover, which I think is genuinely the most... imaginative thing I've written 😂 I never posted it and don't think I will, but I still love it to bits and I'm super proud of myself for writing it.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Kind of? It wasn't directed at me personally (I don't think) but at one of the main characters of the fic. Perhaps it was referring to the way I'd written the particular character, I truly can't say, it was a little vague. It takes a lot to offend me, but this really rubbed me the wrong way. I honestly think I would have been less offended if the person had criticised my writing rather than the character lol. I just don't take any shit when it comes to the characters I love. They're PERFECT, okay? How dare you come into my house and badmouth them 😂 RUDE

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Hell YEAH! I love writing smut, it's great. As to what kind, I think that porn with feelings describes it really well. The smut I write tends to get emotional real quick, even when I intended for it to be straight up porn, so I guess there's no hope for me, hah.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes, High-Flying Birds has been translated into Vietnamese.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes!! With oftachancer, two novel-length fics (Playground Love and Never Let Me Go), as well as a few other WIPs that haven't been posted yet, and I'm currently working on a multi-chap fic with my friendo @in-arlathan , featuring Dorian/Tristan and Solas with her Elenara Lavellan, which I'm so excited about! I've also brainstormed and goblined-out over a couple projects with @mogwaei !! I love co-writing, it's so fun :)

What's your all time favourite ship?

Oooh, that's a tough one. I'm super biased in that the ships I love are those I write (both canon and OC pairings) but if you held a gun to my head and asked me to choose I would probably have to say... Dorian/Tristan and Achilles/Patroclus? AAH this is too hard ;w;

What's a WIP you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

I do plan on finishing all of the WIPs I am currently working on. I have a lot of writing ideas that I don't think I'll ever get around to, but when I actually start writing something I tend to commit till the end.

What are your writing strengths?

Descriptions, introspection and angsty/emotional scenes I think are my favourite things to write. I also enjoy writing fight scenes a little too much (and judging by the feedback I receive on them people seem to enjoy them too, heh). Lastly, I've been told that the characters I write are complex and fleshed out and that my pacing is good, and that's honestly the best praise for me.

What are you writing weaknesses?

I struggle quite a lot with self doubt and perfectionism. I worry a lot about how my work will be perceived and whether it's good enough. I often agonise over small details or paragraphs/sentences, to the point where I sometimes post just so I stop myself from going back and editing indefinitely. I have thousands upon thousands of words in deleted scenes because "they weren't quite right" or I changed a tiny bit and the rest didn't fit. So. You get the idea 😅 (Now, how I manage to read through everything multiple times before posting yet still get typos... welp)

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Hmm, I have to say that I do like it when there are foreign words interspersed through the narrative if the story isn't set in an English speaking world or if the characters speak a different language, but I'm not a huuuge fan of seeing a big chunk of dialogue in a foreign language without immediate translation or a hovering text. It kind of breaks the immersion for me and I tend to avoid it generally in my own writing.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Dragon Age, and specifically DAI! That game never gets old for me.

What's your favourite fic you've written?

It's impossible for me to pick just one so I'm going to cheat and choose a few. I absolutely love my current WIPs: High-Flying Birds, Where Blood Roses Bloom and A World With You, and the freaking epic-length fics I've written with @oftachancer . They haven't always been easy to write (especially AWWY, which has the most intricate plot & character development) but I'm so proud of them and I've learned so much while writing them. Of my finished stories, The Stars Will Guide Us Home is hands down one of my all time faves. It had been on my mind for several months before I actually wrote it, and I poured so much of my heart into it. I still get emotional when I go back to reread it, not gonna lie! Lastly, At The Water's Edge (TSOA) is very dear to me and I often go back for rereads.

I just finished reading "The Song of Achilles" and here are my thoughts (warning: long post):

The book is heart wrenching and heart breaking, especially the end. It's written very simply but it's very powerful and cried several times (I never cry while reading books). It is sad but gorgeous and I will definitely reread it again, it has become my new religion

EVERYONE HAS TO READ THIS BOOK, IT'S MAJESTIC ( warning: now I will begin to bitch)

Why tf does Achilles send Patroclus to fight instead of him?!?! PATROCLUS CANNOT FIGHT, THERE'S A WAR GOING ON, WHAT DO YOU MEAN. I've read versions of the myth, I know the story, but STILL!

Thetis is a homophobic bitch, Agamemnon is a prideful bitch

Fuck Pyrrhus

Achilles has pride issues

DESPITE WHAT EVERYONE SAYS, I think it's obvious that Patroclus is a bottom. I mean: he DOES NOT LIKE fighting, HE HEALS and BECOMES KNOWN FOR HEALING, he is CONTENT to watch Achilles be the best at everything and is chill with that, plus in tsoa I think Achilles starts every intimate interaction (apart from the first kiss at the beach). And yes, I KNOW THAT ACHILLES DISGUISED HIMSELF AS A GIRL but that's because THETIS FORCED HIM

DESPITE BEING A BOTTOM, PATROCLUS IS SUPER MANLY! He STOOD ON HIS KNEES and BEGGED Achilles, WHILE CRYING, to go back to battle! He goes to fight FOR Achilles when Achilles refuses (stupid bitch, did he not realise Patroclus would die!?!) and when he's about to be killed by Hector his last thought is how ACHILLES would feel when he finds out that Patroclus is dead.

I find it extremely ironic that both Achilles and Patroclus did not even think that Patroclus would die first, that Achilles would WANT death to be by his lover's side. In the book Patroclus states several times that he will die AFTER Achilles dies.

I AM NOW OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK!!! TELL ME WHERE TO FIND SIMILAR STUFF! people have suggested "Captive Prince" but I do not like rape and slavery, even if it does have a happy ending. I REALLY WANT SOMEONE TO MAKE A FILM BASED OFF TSOA, I WOULD WATCH THE SHIT OUT OF THAT! we already have a lot of Coming Out stories, and that's great, but I'm a little tired of them. Give me adventure and Greek mythology! IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE TO FIND PATROCHILLES FANFICTION PLEASE TELL ME

Oh my, so many book recs! 🤩 I get so happy talking to other bookworms like myself because I find it so interesting what others like as well as the fun of discovering new books. I have to admit, I smiled stupidly when I saw you recommend the Martian as I have heard nothing but good things about it, and I recently read the authors short story The Egg. I would definitely recommend it, and it's so short you can find it online and read it in one sitting easily! - CC 🦊

As for some of my favs, I cannot recommend The Winternight Trilogy enough. It plays a lot with Russian fantasy and mythology, and it's perfect for this time of year as a winter read 💕Niel Gaiman's Norse Mythology is a treat. It's like a collection of norse stories, but written so well. My favourite story in it is Freya's Unusual Wedding, which is hilarious. - CC 🦊

I would also recommend The Song of Achilles and Circe. Again they're retellings of mythology, but the writing! ❤️TSOA is a sad one too, so be prepared to cry! At the moment I'm reading a book called Descendant of the Crane, and so far I am loving it! It's also in an ancient Chinese setting, and a lot of the language and customs in it I've been like 'oh, I know that!' 🙂I went on a bit of a kick buying Chinese books a while back, so this is the first of a few others I'm planning to read! - CC 🦊

YES FELLOW BOOKWORM HELLO!!! Of Andy Weir’s short stories I only read Annie’s Day so far and I’ve just read The Egg and realised while reading that I knew this story because kurzgesagt did an animation of it. It’s such a good story!

I’ve definitely heard about the Winternight Trilogy. The only reason I haven’t picked it up is because I’ve heard that it’s quite slow-paced and not much plot happens and I know myself... I get bored easily when nothing happens 😅Does Norse Mythology consist of retellings or like new interpretations of these stories? Or is it just what Neil Gaiman would imagine a Norse story to be like?

OOF TSOA.... I planned on rereading it this year and even bought the fancy Bloomsbury Modern Classics edition but well... mdzs happened 😂I haven’t read Circe tho. And I read Descendant of the Crane this April!!! I really liked it even though I didn’t know as much about chinese customs because that was before I got obsessed with mdzs. But!! I desperately want a sequel and there is NONE 😭not even planned... why Joan He, why??? Have you read Girls of Paper and Fire tho? That’s the good shit!!! And what other chinese books did you buy??

Ok so when it comes to genres, I fluctuate a bit. I’ve been really into YA Fantasy for A WHILE and now that I’ve gotten a bit bored with it (cause it’s literally always the same), instead of moving on to adult novels I regressed and started reading spooky middlegrade 😂 I’m also into YA high school murder mysteries tho. People Like Us by Dana Mele is a really good one with LGBT rep! And I’m trying to read more sci-fi, no matter what age group really. Invictus by Ryan Graudin is basically like Doctor Who on drugs, so I really enjoyed that (I started off as a DW blog so it’s still near and dear to my heart). Worldbuilding is really important to me so sometimes a series comes along where the first book is like the first bite of a dish and then you slowly realise that oh wait, this series is a whole fucking buffet. That’s the shit I love! So The Witchlands series by Susan Dennard or Dark Skies by Danielle L. Jensen are like that and I can’t wait for the sequels for those!! But I’ve rambled for long enough now. What about your favourite genres?

As for more mxtx novels, I haven’t read any other ones (still not done with mdzs btw 😬) but I really want to read tgcf. The fanart I’ve seen of the characters so far is 😍😍 and isn’t it also getting a live action show? 👀What about you?
