1 day until Lover!!!!

you know what that means? it means it’s time to show some love for Reputation. ahh this album. this album is beautiful and powerful and emotional and ahhhhhh. @taylorswift said that this album was cathartic for her, that she had to get some intense feelings off of her chest before she could go back to who she used to be. alright i’m gonna talk about every song on the album so buckle up.

ready for it: wow. this song is the perfect opener for an album. it’s upbeat and i can jam to it while dancing around my room or driving down the road. this song is romantic, but in a sense of, “are you ready for the rumors and the hate and everything else that comes along with dating me?” this song is the best opener of any of her albums so far in my opinion.

end game: wow how do you say underrated? this song is so great! but because it’s “rap” it gets a lot of hate. but this is a song that i can imagine playing at a homecoming dance and everyone going crazy for. i mean: future is so perfect for this song. and ed has a beautiful voice. and taylor’s parts? they’re sung so beautifully and written so beautiful? an underrated bop.

idsb: i mean come on. bad bitch power song of the century. it is the most badass song and it is so feminists and hippy and we get to hear taylor swear which is always an added bonus. i mean “if a man talks shit than i owe him nothing?” you know who wrote this? a queen.

don’t blame me: aw i love this song so so much. i mean it’s powerful and strong, and the music is so pretty and her voice sounds so perfect throughout the whole song. and the song really showcases her voice. i mean y’all about some iconic high notes. and it talks about how the media always makes her out to be the bad guy in relationships and stuff. “they say she’s gone too far this time.”

delicate: ah the iconic track five. this song is so perfect. it is raw and vulnerable and it shows the fear and anxiety that switches on and off in relationships. the relating of the “isn’t it” shows some anxiety in relationships. and the “do the girls back home touch you like i do?” showcases some confidence that also comes with relationships. but it’s so beautiful. also 123lgb

lwymmd: i have to admit: not my favorite song off the album. but it’s is a bad bitch power anthem. i mean the beat in the back? and her vocals? so good. i don’t love the studio version, but on tour, when the beat drops? iconic. and karyn is our eternal snake queen. this song is the epitome of the rep era i think.

so it goes: honestly one of taylor’s most sexual songs. but it’s so freaking beautiful. “gold cage hostage to my feelings” is a beautiful line. the beat drop in the chorus is beautiful every time i hear it. and the part where she says “you did a number on me but honestly baby who’s counting?” and then whispers 123. that is my favorite thing on this album.

gorgeous: first off @taylorswift is gorgeous, and so is this song. i mean come on it’s perfect. the iconic dings of the triangle? taylor’s dancing during this song on tour!! this is actually one of my faves from your because of the part where she introduced all of her dancers and singers? like that’s some humble queen shit. ah i just love her. and the original lyrics always give me chills

getaway car: ahh i stan this song. i mean wow. this song deserves to be a single and it deserves a music video. it gives me actual chills it’s so good. it any just be the last breakup song we ever get from taylor too ;)

komh: beautiful? perfect? soft? also not soft? “salute to me i’m your american queen” ah wow i love hai song. and the way she says jaguars? gets me every time. also the bridge is great.

dwoht: talk about beautiful. it’s beautiful acoustic and not. ah it’s so good. “deep blue but you painted me golden.” i mean that’s some lyrics right there. this song is amazing i love it wow.

dress: sexual wow. but so so beautiful aw. the bridge? i mean this is easily too 5 taylor bridges of all time.

tiwwchnt: party song wow. i want this to be played all the time always. it’s so unapologetic and so taylor. it closed the tour perfectly. and she shouts out her mom and her friends and her man and wow ahh

ciwyw: my #1 stan song. soft and beautiful. a love song. “i’m doing better than i ever was.” this song shows her true happiness. it makes me want to be in love so i have someone to sing this to

nyd: this song is when the tears come out. i’m not sure why haha. it’s just so raw and emotional. its so hopeful and emotional. it’s perfect. the first live performance on jimmy fallon after his mom died? that brought me to tears. i specifically remember crying during that haha. and the idea of mashing it up with long live is perfect.

okay now let’s talk about the tour. because it needs to be talked about. when i went, in Indianapolis, i had purchased the tickets myself. so i wasn’t able to get good seats, i was actually in the top deck. i was upset because it made me feel like less of a fan, but i know that’s not true now.

this tour won awards. it was huge. it showcased taylor’s amazing stage presence and her vocals and wow i’m so in awe of the work she did on that tour. the idea of surprise songs and acoustic songs and a cage soaring across the stadium and the light up bracelets and the little moments with taylor of her just talking to us one on one. after the tour movie came out, i saw tweets about how this tour made people swifties

this album is iconic. period. no other words.

It was all just amazing and perfect and I’m not at all ready for this era to be over yet even though I’m super excited for the next era and new music! This was such a special era for me. I was here for the entire thing and was more, I guess, involved and connected than any era before. I was online actually seeing everything and talking to people some and in the midst of everything as it was happening (tour and merch stuff (@ that white pullover lol)) and it was just so amazing and I really don’t want it to end! From the very bottom of my heart, thank you so much Taylor for making this such an amazing and special era. I know it grew out of a not good time in your life, but it grew into something so special and amazing and iconic and legendary and gorgeous. You came back stronger than before and showed us we can always get back up and we can’t let what other people think or say about us affect us and keep us from doing what we want and love. It was so amazing seeing everything as it happened and being here from the beginning and actually going to the tour and seeing you live! And hearing my favorite song live and bawling like a little baby! Thank you so much and we won’t let this era end anytime soon but we’re all so excited for what’s next and hope you know how much you inspire us and how proud you make us everyday and how much we all love you Taylor! 👑🐍
