Okay so number one. Super cool that you wrote your paper on the American dream. Single-handedly it is my favorite antag from any season.

And two. Well it is true the back to back filming probably definitely made them have less nuance for this. I absolutely agree with your statement. If your players can't engage in a story something is probably wrong. Honestly I've just come to the conclusion that the reason that episode 19 felt so weird. Is because it felt more like it was the intrepid heroes killing the rat grinders. Instead of the bad kids killing the rat grinders. Like I don't know if I'm just going crazy here?? I know it happens where your characters blend together so much in your mind That it's hard to differentiate the character from the player. But things felt so mean spirited in like a unique way. Like a unique way that you can only get from hating a villain as the viewer. Instead of like the character. Because besides Kristen trying to see if Buddy was still in there. It felt as if, the bad kids. Who have notoriously all been put into difficult situations at different times because of various adults. Saw what is basically just them without the support system. And hit it with a nuke. It's not like a Johnny spells type thing where You can be like "this guy sucks. kill his ass." Cause besides Kipper Lily. We don't actually know any of the rat grinders motivations. Like people can say that the rat grinders were just power hungry All they want. But the more likely answer is probably, Porter saw a group of vulnerable children who were actively unsatisfied with the situation they had been put in. And prayed on that!

It's frustrating definitely. But there is always fix it fics. And these final episodes aren't going to stop me from loving the rat grinders. I do not care what anyone in the fandom says. Because half of the time they're just spitting the same misogynistic bullshit we got with saccharina frostwhip. I'm genuinely hoping That at least the adventuring party clears up some things??. But my hopes are low unfortunately. Mary Ann forever though. She got that dog in her

a) IT WAS REALLY COOL!! i also wrote a final paper in a different class about the cubbys . Communications is kind of fake as hell as a major (if youre thinking of becoming a comm major dont </3 its great for student athletes who dont need jobs. as for me. um. well. 1 year out of college no new job), but it meant I was able to write a lot of interesting papers and my professors gave me room to run with it.

b) That's a really interesting thesis, and I haven't thought about it before, but that honestly makes a lot of sense...? Like, in that Really Uncomfortable Speech that was given before Ruben died, he was blamed for wasting a season on him. Which is an extremely meta/IH thing. It makes no sense for Fig to say that. But it does make sense for Emily to say that.

Hi! What do you think about TTPD? Have you listened to all 31 songs or just the first 16?

Oh I have definitely listened to all 31 songs multiple times over.

I like it a lot. I will admit that its been incredibly overwhelming musically, because its SO much at once and the writing is so dense and its also been overwhelming watching people try and make out who each song is about and that's just not something I do with Taylor's music - partly because I am older fan who got into her music so much later into her career. I just want to listen to the music for what it is.

The easter egg hunting and connecting dots - is very very overwhelming that I feel like it muddled so much of the experience of just listening to the music. Of course I understand that this is part of the experience of her music and its something she's even encouraged, so i don't have an issue with it I just needed to limit what I was looking at so I could just listen to the music.

I gave the album a full listen on the Friday throughout work and just picked which songs I liked, again musically first and then lyrically later.

After doing my full listen I then wanted to venture into the 'theories' so I went to two people who I think do Taylor's music justice in their breakdowns which is emily and bonny at Chats and Reacts. Getting their view and fathoms on the songs was interesting, it gave some perspective and now I am just listening to listen.

I will say this album being so much, allegedly, about Matty Healy is truly a surprise to me- like really? him? But its Taylor and she feels all the feels all the time.

On my first listen So Long, London hit me the hardest, its so beautiful but truly such a sad song.

My Favourites off the album(s)

Down Bad- loved it on first listen, musically its so good.

So Long, London - as a track 5 girlie - its absolutely stunning and heartbreaking and angry and so so so good.

But Daddy I Love Him - this is my current fave - musically I love, lyrically its a head scratcher bc again Him?? But I do love that she's calling out everyone for questioning her choices and thinking their opinions matter.

Fresh out the Slammer - also long, great beat and it just hits right

Florida!!! - LOVE Florence on this, love that she's actually heavily featured - its a great track and would love to hear this one live

Guilty as Sin? - shes a sneaky sexy song that has a great beat to go with it.

Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? - LOVE, i love when Taylor yell sings - I don't think it will translate as epic live bc the backing vocals really give it the umph that drives it. But its a top fave

Loml - this one...woof - it being Loss of my life really just fucks you up. The duality of her starting it with her acknowledging that HE referred to her as the love of his life and then at the end of the song she actually tells you, it stands for Loss of my life is just ugh...so good and so sad.

I Can Do It With a Broken Heart - I mean....its a fun song bc of the chorus but its not up there as my most fave but I do enjoy it.

Clara Bow - I just love the imagery of this song and the story it tells - the media/fans love to build up women just so they can tear them down - from one to the other, each one replaced by the new, best girl only to have what was done to them, done to her too. I love that she calls out the cycle.

Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus - confused by the names but I love the song musically.

How Did it End?- If we treat these next songs as a whole new album then this song would be the next Track 5 and really it fits it because its her asking How did the relationship end because she doesn't even know. Everyone's asking her and she has no idea.

So High School? Only because its a cute song about her and Trav that has a weird almost emotionally heavy but silly beat.

Cassandra - again who are these people? But I love this song- its got an anger to it thats interesting.

Peter - the imagery behind this one alone woof...makes me sad but also show cases the brilliance of Taylor's writing and imagination to relate Joe to Peter Pan and herself to Wendy. The boy she wanted to much to grow up, who just never did. Also the constant repetition of the chorus - 'You said you were gonna grow up, then you were gonna come find me' and well.....he never did.

Robin- another name, another mystery. The theory of it being about Aarons son is really kind of beautiful, its a sad but hopeful song about holding onto your child like wonder and how quickly it gets ripped from you as you get older as the world takes your innocence's.

The Manuscript - this one is really really beautiful and sad to me. In the same vein that Dear Reader was - she's on the outside looking back on to her life, just like everyone else is. She really weaves a beautiful story here.

The reality is this isn't a commercial album, but it will sell like one because its Taylor.

I do think its up there with one of her best, it is heavily saturated and maybe overly wordy sometimes, but thats Taylor's writing and we love it because of that.

I know I'm super late on commenting on the scene with hotchs worst qualities but the anon talking about how they categorized hotch as sexist made me want to bring it up again lol.

Like you said, the show has a lot of casual sexism that has to be kind of excused sometimes but it strikes me as so odd that the writers would point out this one specific instance and imply hotch is sexist instead of the many other times on the show.

Like. I love them but Derek and Rossi have way too many sexist moments on the show. Like just plain womanizing or objectifing or slut shaming or anything else. And as a woman it doesn't bother me too much, you kind of have to expect a bit of that from an early 2000s crime show, but it does strike me as odd that the writers would choose to make Hotch the one called out for sexism.

I'll also admit that I'm very very biased because I am a Hotch Girl™️ lol but I don't get him being sexist. I know Emily said it because he didn't trust her as much as the rest of the team, but it's very clear he trusts Penelope and JJ a lot, even Elle before Emily. I think the writers were trying to point out how Emily viewed hotch and how there relationship was weird but it still bothers me a little lol like how is that man sexist.

I can appreciate the writers giving him some character improvement, like going after that one case because he respects and trusts JJ and saying nobody "asks for it" or not to call a r*pe victim lucky and all that but I will never understand that dialouge with the team.

As for the rest of them, dereks comment about him being a drill Sargent makes a little sense but the other two were just. Really wrong if not kind of mean lol. Don't get me startedddd on how wrong the bully comment was. I know you've talked about this scene a lot but I was curious on how legitimate you think the things the team says are

yeah honestly i think that comment is more about emily and his relationship w her at the moment than an actual valid criticism. he still doesnt trust her yet so maybe its easier for her to think that its a general thing rather than admitting he doesnt like her specifically. plus this is right on the heels of jj and hotch ganging up on her and forcing her on the spot with the question of “how come none of this gets to you” like its a less than subtle way of saying “mind your business and dont fucking worry about it.” its an attempt to maybe give him second thoughts when he starts to doubt her—why would he be suspicious unless he didnt trust women???🤔

and tbh i think he knows it too. like i dont think this one bothered him too much bc he knows why shes saying it… he cant bring himself to feel bad for making her feel distant when he still doesnt trust her. hes not sorry for questioning her or doubting her bc she hasnt proven herself in his eyes yet.

tbh i dont think anything the team says is accurate lmao. hes clearly not a bully. i dont even think jj means it necessarily, but its not the first time she’s thought it. hes not even much of a drill sergeant? hes “strict” ig but he does all their paperwork for them, reaches out when one of them is struggling w smth (he stops trying to help so directly after this for a while.. almost like he’s afraid of being overbearing or tyrannical… of being a bully), lets them goof off and have their fun, etc. there are definitely worse bosses who are way more tough and by-the-book. and honestly i dont think derek meant it that way either: i think he was referring to how pushy he can be sometimes—like now when he’s urging them all to name his worst qualities. i think thats what he’s trying to get at anyway

and i almost like it more that none of them quite mean what they say? bc this IS him crossing a line, forcing them to come up with critiques and insult him. his own self doubt and insecurities are getting in the way of being the leader they all know he’s capable of. they scramble to find the closest thing to mind. for jj its the way that she feels small. for morgan its the way hes worried ab hotch demanding for his question to be answered. for emily its ab her own fears and frustrations from him not trusting her. i think it says much more about all of them than it does about him. but i dont think hotch would ever see it that way. he’s gonna take everything to heart—just another type of failing to look out for

alright so my baby was born and raised in torquay, england to a pretty religious, polish family. her father is polish and her mother is english, but their lifestyle and culture at home was very much polish based

also her actual birth name is katarzyna eloisa gomolka, but growing up in england, many people had a hard time pronouncing her first name so her friends & classmates and all that often called her by her middle name instead -- eloisa. so it eventually stuck and she legally changed around her first & middle names. ..  . 

this girl loves loves loves learning languages and studying other cultures and lifestyles , like in school , she was always that girl that took as many foreign language classes as she could. she knows the basics to a bunch of different languages but she’s fluent in english, polish, french, and spanish. 

also shes WILD ok . . . like her own weird brand of wild. she’s so Unexpected .. . its strange. but i love her sm. she’s loud, opinionated, stubborn, unpredictable, SUPER adventurous, you name it. she’s either laughing her ass off with childish excitement or spewing fire From her mouth, knowing NO boundaries . . there’s no in between like . . . shes so random, all over the place and all in your face most of the time im sorry . . . & when she loves u she clingy

anyway she also used to play the violin and horseback ride a lot growing up. her grandpa from her moms side taught her how to ride horses and she loved going to his farm in the english countryside to ride & hear his wise stories and all that. he was like her hero.

however, one day, right before eloisa was about to start her last year of high school  . . . long story short . . . there was an accident and grandpa passed away *cries* .  . . el took his death super hard since they were so close . . which caused her to get less enthusiastic about going to college and she just lost all interest at caring at all tbh, becoming more of a troublemaker at school, so her grades dropped her last year and so did all her aspirations for her future

after high school, instead of enrolling in postsecondary, she just wanted to get away from it all so she decided to trust in her adventurous side and partake in a work abroad program where she would be backpacking across south america, teaching english and helping build up communities. she did that until she was twenty-one. it was a Wild ride

in the midst of the program, while in colombia, she got involved w/ some sketchy dude who was in the drugs and car stealing business  . . . she loved the thrill & she thought she was so in love BUt he was super gross and toxic and ended up betraying her, stealing her money, and leaving her on the side of the road one night on one of his heists. aNYWAY it sucked

she finished the program and then decided to work for the work abroad program’s headquarters, which are situated in california. . . so thats how she got to san diego

eventually her position there terminated but she decided to stay in cali bc its very much her type of vibe SO now shes working at fashion valley & thats where yall come in 

SOME WANTED CONNECTIONS 

OPPOSITES ATTRACT -- cheesy name but i think it’d be cool for her to have a pal who’s kind of the complete or near opposite of her but they kind of work ? ? like honestly this girl can TALK and ramble on for so long about random shit, so i think it’d be an interesting dynamic for her to have someone who just lets her Go Off and they just like to listen to her talk and she just likes having someone to listen to her . . . inspo is from this pic right HERE

EAT THIS --  while in south america, el kind of developed a huge respect and love for cuisine and cooking so now shes kind of obsessed with searching up random, exotic recipes and trying them out. sometimes her cooking backfires and is not the greatest but shes so determined to get things right and just loves Doing it so much that she doesnt care. . . so maybe she can have like a taste testing buddy or someone who likes to cook w her or something idk ? ? shfskd omg HC: she works as a server at ca pizza kitchen but i s2g she prob always tries to sneak in the kitchen and help cook But since shes so all over the place, theyre always like “ EL GTFO OF HeRE !!!!!”

ZOOLOGY -- eloisa doesnt have any pets .. .  she can hardly take care of herself like what u think imma let this girl have a dog ? ? NO she can have a pet ROCK ( she does ) . . . but she loves animals so she’d love hAving a pal where she can just come by and play w their pets or smthg like she’ll be the best play mate ever  .. . i just wouldnt trust her to take care of ur animal for a week or smthg lmao

ADVENTURE TIME -- if u ever just want to do something crazy or try something new. . . literally just hit up eloisa . . . so i’d love for her to have friends who just text her up like i’m Not feeling good take me somewhere. . . and SHE WILL . . .or even if they’re not sad and just want to do something exciting . .. hit her up

OOPS :( -- ok So el can be a bit clumsy and random so i think a cool connection with someone would be like maybe one day eloisa broke something of theirs or fucked up their car or dyed their hair wrong or something stupid like that . . . basically eloisa fucked up . . . and ever since then, that person doesnt really trust her anymore and is kind of annoyed with her presence in general . . . BUT eloisa feels so BAD and guilty about it so now she basically tries to do everything in her power to make it up to the other person but they just keep not having it yknow ? ? 

ORANGE CRUSH -- ok ur typical crush plot bc theyre so fluffy and cute. . . but i think maybe a plot where the crush doesnt even have to be super romantic or sexual yknow ? ? like i can definitely see eloisa just being so interested in everything the other person does and just loving being around them and loving everything they do . . . so obsessed w their comportments . . . but it can be in such a fluffy, platonic way like That feeling when u see a rly cute puppy or baby penguin . . . eloisa just wants to hug ur muse and love them But not even sexually yknow ? ? 

TAKE ME WITH YOU -- ok i love this plot sm . . . maybe like a friendship where they both want to see the world together ? ? eloisa is really big on travelling so id love for her to have a friend where they’ve been slowly putting together their dream trip where they see the world together. and their friendship is so heavily based on them sending each other places around the world where they want to go and putting together bucketlists and itineraries for if they ever end up saving money and travelling together ? ? so fun

SCIENCE PROJECT -- there’s not much that scares el and she doesnt get pushed away so easily  . ..  but i think an interesting dynamic could be if there actually was someone who kind of freaks her out yknow?? a relationship where the person actually kind of intimidates her and theres just something about the person that makes eloisa question everything .. . kind of like a science project. shes always studying them carefully, unsure of how to react to what they say . . . they’re just bizarre to her and she wants to know more

POKE ! -- basically someone she loves to annoy and pick on , but not in a hateful way

TEACH ME -- maybe someone who is teaching eloisa a new skill or language or how to do something that they’re good at because eloisa would love that so much .. . she loves trying new things.. . .like honestly anything  ..  . even if she keeps failing

Toby A.D. Theory & Spencer Twin Twist …………….I have a lot more to add to this to make even more sense.. but this is it for now. This theory will only include, aside from a couple, clues from the Timejump (6B on) and after. It will explain why I believe Toby is the Big Bad as well as a Spencer Twin reveal as the twist. *The number 5 will play a big role in this theory! Marlene King likes numbers and I think that after the time jump the new number 5 and multiples of 5 (10,15,20…) reappeared often! Clues! ⦁ In ep. 6.11 spencer visits Toby and there is a large 5 on one of the work bench. ⦁ Next we see a car with the license plate 55555 ⦁ When the liars are watching the camera of Aria leaving the Radley the time is 3:11:55 which added equals 15 (multiple of 5). ⦁ Toby was out of town when Hannah received the breakfast saying, “Poor Jordy”. ⦁ In Ep. 6.13 we seen that AD is wearing a hunter green jacket in the closing scene while cleaning off the electrical levers in Radley. Toby is wearing this exact later on in episode 7.07! Toby is sitting beside the clock. There is also a “Deer Crossing Sign” on her wall which is odd; this refers to Tobys accident later on. ⦁ In the episode Caleb sends a virus to AD’s Computer there is a carpenter/workman vest laying in AD’s car seat. ⦁ In Ep. 6.18 hannah sends the message to AD that she killed Charlotte. The closing scene shows AD building the BOARDGAME in the background. We can see the beginning of the BG and the tools all around. There is red electrical wire, a white foldable tape measure, a bright red thing with two handles on the end and a lot more. The wire, tape measure, and red thing are ALL at tobys house in 6.13 when Caleb tells him about spencer; same color same everything! BAD Toby! Also, in the AD closing scene is the Hastings campaign background; Toby is also tied to the election. This and the jacket are HUGE clues! ⦁ Toby is well rehearsed in FRENCH and so is AD. Also Toby has glasses now and AD pretty much always wear glasses. ⦁ In Ep 6.20 a lady calls Toby pretty eyes, which is something that all A’s have been called. ⦁ When the cop in the mask attacks hannah, you can see he has green eyes if you pause it at the right time. Also cop cars are not easy to come by, but Toby has one. ⦁ OOhhh.. remember when TOBY could draw very well. In the first ever episode Toby was drawing and was good it. AD can draw which relates to the comic book. ⦁ When they find DOLL hannah at the Bell tower, caleb looks at his phone it says 4:01 which equals 5!! If you notice toby is being odd when they are talking about who killed charlotte, he knows a lot of details and is seriously invested in this convo I believe this is bc he is AD and wants to know who killed Charlotte of course. He doesnt have a whole lot on interest in helping the girls after this. ⦁ MARY DRAKE CONNECTION- When toby and Spencer break into Marys room at the Lost Woods it Focuses on her room number which is non other than 5! In Marys room we also see a book that says MASK MAKING. She is tied to AD. ⦁ Also Toby has learned to many new skills such as using dibblers to break into places and also keeps one on him all the time. ⦁ When Toby is getting engaged we also see a large number 5 again right next to the Red thing that AD had while building the GAMEBOARD. ⦁ The address to Rollins burner apartment is 23 Wexford st apartment 109. The first number =5 and the second set =10. her they are again. ⦁ When Toby shows up the the burner apartment he has a KEY! This is odd, cops do not get access to these things, not to mention the girls already bribed the apartment manager for his key. Toby unlocks the door without saying anything and then realizes the chain is locked. After that is only when he announces himself as a cop because he knew rollins wouldnt change the door. Remember when the girls used rollins phone to text the mystery # to meet at the usual spot? Jenna showed up to alisons house which was not the usual spot; not at alisons thats to open. Who shows up to the usual spot… TOBY! Also this season when cops show up its more than one or at least the detective, they would not send Toby by himself then call in for backup. This story was all Tobys cover. Also the address is a direct link to TOBY. ⦁ SPENCER TWIN Connection- When Aria and Jason are at family services aria says that they are number 5 in line. They are looking for Mary Drakes other child. The number 5 is here again. I will ADD more clues later, but these are also some observations I want to point out. 1. Hannah, Aria, and Alision were the girls that were injured by AD. Alision was beat by the cop and had a spill down the stairs, aria and the fire, and hannah was tortured. Emily eggs were stolen and spencer has been hurt in regards to family matters. AD is much easier on Emily and Spencer physically; the eggs thing with Emily is a awful situation, but I do believe AD thinks he is being easier on her. He dont want to harm her (even though he is, but his twisted mind dont see it this way). 2. Hannahs career was wrecked, Aria has been torn from her friends, alision is carrying a baby and has lost all of her money not to mention the set up marriage, yet AD helped emily with a test and helped Spencer find her birthmother and has given her answers she has wanted since though started (even though it has caused a lot of problems). AD is Definitely trying to be better to them. Toby has always been close to Emily and Spencer. Motive: I believe Toby has a connection to Bethany Young and has been A from the beginning. I am not a fan of bethany being alive, but these are the clues that she is. ⦁ Marlene King Wrote on a blackboard the PLL ride is over soon. BY BY. Obviously this isnt how you spell Bye so I think this means Bethany Young. ⦁ Bethany is tied to horses and we see horses throughout 6B on. ⦁ Alsion wears a horse shirt through an entire episode, even when all the girls change she comes to her dinner party in this shirt. ⦁ There is a Horse drawing in Lucas’ apartment. ⦁ We see wooden horses at the Amish Furniture Place. ⦁ Patsy Cline Clue- Patsy loved horse; there is also a farm called Black Widow Farm/Walkin in the Moonlight Farm; you can adopt horses from this place…. remember when Bethany had the adopted horse name Custard?? ⦁ Melissa buried Bethany… who is the only person aside from that liars circle that is being messed with… Melissa. ⦁ Bethany is being brought up a lot this season. ⦁ Major Clue!!! Remember how Bethany was supposedly 17?? When the girls find Mary Drakes file Spencer makes the comment, “Charles was actually almost the same age is Jason. They changed his age so his connection couldnt be discovered.” Charlotte is already dead therefore this comment has nothing to do with her, it is talking about Bethany and giving us a clue that she can actually be same age as the girls. SPENCER HAS A TWIN CLUES ⦁ Hannahs Dream… Im sure everyone has read about it by now lol ⦁ The weird Spencer at the airport ⦁ Spencer in the last episode… no apple watch, changed four times, and yes she had a scar but it doesnt exactly look like a gunshot wound. ⦁ We know that veronica took spencer straight from Radley, well one child has been presumably been placed in family services; hence the redacted info Jason got. ⦁ Spencer was in a PINK blanket, yet one baby was seen being carried out in a white blanket. ⦁ The file that the girls find in the storm celler that Mrs. D used was Mary Drakes. When the girls discover that Mary has another child and they are reading about them it says, “BOTH STABLE”! Both as in two!!! ⦁ Dr. Cochran said he delivered two of Marys babies as there could be another one. ⦁ Tyler Blackburn the actor that plays Caleb said we have kind of seen AD, but not really, and that when we see it we will understand what he means. Sounds like a look a like to me. ⦁ Mary Drake once said the families even have hidden people…. we have already seen her so I believe this is foreshadowing something deeper. Okay so now my motive… I believe Toby is tied to Bethany Young somehow.. Remember his tattoo 9.01 FREE at LAST? Well this is the same night Bethany also ran away from RADLEY and if she is alive she is also FREE! What else, if you add 901 together it = 10! Which is another multiple of 5. Rollins burner apartment also has the numbers 901 in them as did a couple others. These numbers are significant. Above I have shows how Toby is tied to AD, Mary Drake, a pregnancy, and Bethany Young. The girls was the reason Toby was sent away at one point and they also blinded Jenna… but I think it is much deeper than that. I think it all comes back to Bethany. I think parts of Charlottes story was real, but not the part about Tobys mother. Bethany Young is the twin of Spencer Hastings. In the finale I believe that Toby will be revealed as AD, and then the twist will be that Spencer has a twin which is none other than Bethany Young and she is the black widow. Above I have connected Bethany to the Black Widow horse farm. Bethany has all the motive in the world to be a part of this. Falsely led out that night, she dont know who killed her, she was buried alive, was gave up for adoption while spencer had a great life; she would definitely want to hurt the Hastings and this has been happening a lot since 6B on. Also a fun note AD is the initials for LOST LOVE in FRENCH and could also been abandoned daughter. I truly believe this is the meaning of Tobys tattoo and the Jenna thing was always a cover. Im sure Toby didn’t really want to explain that his tattoo meant it was the day his step sister stopped sexually abusing him to everyone that asks; this would brand his body with a memory of a horrific experience.
