imperium spoilers kinda?
In Cataclysm, Avior (or somebody idrk) said that all this bad weather is due to the Meridian failing, and that the sky hadn’t been clear for days or whatever. Has anyone noticed that in his videos it’s been raining a lot recently?

I WANNA HEAR YOUR THEORIES ABOUT DARLIN TURNING!!!
I think since Williams VA isn’t doing William anymore, that Erik’s going to kill him off. Which, in theory, would break whatever hold he had over Alexis to keep her from trancing Sam. I think she’s either going to make him do it, or do it herself.

WHAT IF HUSH IS THE REMNANTS OF THE SOVEREIGN THAT BURST INTO A MILLION PIECES MAKING FREELANCERS RAK'XIT AND WHAT IF THE SOVEREIGN THAT TELLS BLAKE HES BEEN EXPECTING HIM IS THE SAID BROTHER OF HUSH WHOS BEEN TRYING TO KILL HIM
(Edit)
Ok, so im gonna explain the why I think this is a possibility, in hushs newest audio he makes mention of being able to fix vega if he has enough magic left behind, so what im thinking is that means that when Rak'Xit burst into a million peices not all of them went to humans and could have shot into the void or wherever hush comes from and so if hush was made of those shards of a sovereign it would make sense how hush remembered vega from whatever he was before, and also could link the one seprate sovereign in death as his brother somehow I haven't figured out that part yet cause if hush is supposed to free the sovereigns then wouldn't he technically be helping the drove but also at the same time maybe he's freeing the sovereigns not for the sovereigns sake because Vegas trying to free the sovereigns to kill them and hush didn't tell him that he can't just that its not the right time so I think they have similar plans just couldn't communicate that effectively and so that would make the sovereign in death who manipulated blake there his enemy, im thinking the spellsong itself as a whole made hush from the fragments of Rak'Xit and gave him the task of getting rid of the sovereigns in a very specific way, I also think that with Morgans newest video this ties in really well cause time is a song to him and the spellsong you can guess the notes that will come next yadayadyada the spellsong could be able to effect the future like the sovereigns can and the spellsong couldn't interact directly cause its this force of life of time so it took part of itself the "silence in the spellsong" so to speak and shards of Rak'Xit to make hush for the purpose of saving everyone cause if close knit gets to the sovereigns first everyone will be doomed or maybe close knit needs to release the sovereigns and then hush and vega and I think the others deeply involved in this (avior and starlight, maybe milo and sweetheart if they decide to do what they did in inversion, maybe Elliott and sunshine will go back full force trying to figure it out after the department was not extremely helpful) all of them in the same place for some sort of big showdown the possible end of the world or saving of the world, this was all a ramble as i was writing it sorry if it's like incoherent

i saw someone point out that there's not a [complete] on vega's playlist and i can't stop thinking about it-
Tumblr media
lemme just go on a rant for a sec (spoilers):
the fact that his playlist isn't labelled as [complete] screams VOLUMES - i truly don't believe vega is completely dead. even if he does eventually die, it seems FAR too soon for a demon as old and powerful as him. it was just too easy.
i think it was meant to show us how strong hush truly is, bc as viewers/listeners, we KNOW how strong vega is, even completely drained he still put up a good fight against gavin in the cost. he's been around for thousands of years, so for him to not even get a CHANCE to fight back and to just immediately be obliterated by hush is shocking as it is meaningful - it's to show us how powerful hush is. he killed probably the only person that had the highest chance of going up against him, but i don't think it's the last time we'll hear from vega.
he's such an interesting character and provides so much lorewise that i think it would be a waste to have him killed off so soon. if we can hear from blake in death even after he killed himself, surely we can assume the same of vega. he's such a valuable character with vastly different experiences and perspective from any of the others, it wouldn't make sense to have all this build up and character development all for nothing. vega is a tool, a very useful one at that, and i don't believe erik is careless enough to throw him away so easily.
i saw someone else say that like- we don't know what happens to demons when they die/cease to exist, so what better character to show us what happens, than vega? as well as this, what better way to show hush's sheer amount of strength and threat than killing off the other most powerful character?
i just don't think vega's completely dead - maybe he couldn't put up a fight right then and there, but now that he knows what he's up against, and just how powerful hush is, maybe he somehow can fight from beyond the grave. maybe with a certain deathwalker's help.

like genuinely, because of the ending of avior’s recent audio, he sounded like hush. Though some would come with the conclusion that Avior is actually Hush but what if Hush actually just got split from Avior?
Idk im bad at theories man i aint no redacted matpat

VEGA EA SPOILERS.
(again, copied-and-pasted from texts i sent my boyfriend)
SO. NEWEST AUDIO.
Vega basically confesses his feelings for Warden in a beat-around-the-bush way, they investigate CloseKnit, they run into Hush, and Hush fucking kills Vega. pretty cool, right?
but! knowing Mr. Redacted, Vega isn’t gonna stay dead for long. he’s probably gonna meet up with Blake in Death or some shit
BUT!! 2 Vega and Warden ran into Hush. what the fuck does that mean???
it means a lot of things.
firstly, this disproves my theory that Doc and Hush met in July 2023. Carpe Deus is behind in the storyline, same as The Balance and Sovereign State. its also revealed in this audio that the Department stormed this CloseKnit building.
we ALSO know that, in the latest Aaron + Elliott + Smartass Balance audio, the Department said that they were going to send a team to the CloseKnit building where Sunshine and Scorpius are/were being held, so it seems that the CK building in the newest audio was the one that Sunshine was being held in (thats what the current evidence is saying, at least).
SO.
what can we gather from this?
well, since Carpe Deus is set back like the other aforementioned series, we can technically rule out Hush and Doc meeting in July 2023. since Carpe Deus is still in January 2022, then that means that Hush was created in 2022 (we can also use evidence from Avior’s latest videos, with him hearing what seems to be Hush’s magic and even sounding like Hush at one point. this, of course, takes place during January 2022).
drop the technically, actually!!
Hush tells Vega and Warden that his name is Hush, which means that he’s already met Doc at this point.
how do we know this? because he specifically tells Doc that, before they asked for his name, he didn’t have one.
where does all of this fit in? im glad you asked!
i devised a little timeline here that connects all of the different series (ik there’s already a timeline, but Sovereign State isn’t on it, and it hasn’t been updated in almost a year 💀)
events with (?) before them means that im not exactly sure if said event actually did take place on said date. i used the official timeline as a reference, but its a little fuzzy with dates.
October, 2021
Vega persuades Warden to go with him and aid him in his endeavor to free the Sovereigns and once again use them as an energy source.
December 31st, 2021
Starlight and Avior get trapped in the Meridian. Angst ensues.
Sunshine and Elliott get kidnapped by Blake. Sunshine makes a deal with Blake: if he lets Elliott go, then they’ll help Blake get in contact with Brachium, who is bonded to Death and can provide two-way communication with the Sovereigns.
Inversion starts.
Starlight and Avior get out of the Meridian, only to immediately get thrown into the chaos that is the Inversion.
Avior tells the Chorus (Demon Government) what happened with him and Starlight in the Meridian. There are mixed feelings about the situation.
(?) Starlight and Avior go to the coffee shop they dreamt about visiting together when they were stuck in the trap. Avior starts getting a ringing in his ears.
(?) Starlight takes Avior to their apartment, where the ringing gets worse. Starlight advises Avior that he should go to Circinus about this alarming development. Avior agrees, but asks to be held for a while by Starlight. When thanking them, he sounds suspiciously like Hush.
January 1st, 2022
Blake has Elliott removed from the basement, sending him to the demon Scorpius so that the Dreamwalker’s memories may be modified.
The Department releases their official statement on the Inversion.
Elliott is released, his memories of CloseKnit temporarily blocked. Sunshine and Blake once again go into the dreamscape in order to contact Brachium; the Deathwalker doesn’t show up. Blake wakes both him and Sunshine up and leaves the building.
Elliott’s memories slowly trickle back to him, confusing him. Pairing this with the statement the Department has released about the Inversion, it causes him to spiral, prompting him to call his adopted brother Aaron for help.
(?) Elliott tells Aaron everything that happened regarding CloseKnit, and them + Smartass tell the Department what happened. The Department promises that they will look into the matter, even saying that they will raid the building where Sunshine and Scorpius are being held.
(?) Blake shows up at Bestie’s house, trauma dumps on them, then gets into a relationship with them.
January 2nd, 2022 (supposedly)
Blake shows back up at the CloseKnit building, once again bringing Sunshine into the dreamscape. This time, Brachium shows up, and Blake asks him to relay a message to the Sovereigns regarding Bestie.
(?) Brachium relays the message, and delivers the Sovereigns’ answer. Blake completely does a 180, and instead of following Brachium’s advice, he seeks to make a deal with the Sovereigns.
(?) Blake wakes him and Sunshine up again, and he sends them to Scorpius to have their memories modified before releasing them. Blake then goes and kills himself, in order to enter Death and properly make a deal with the Sovereigns without having to go through Brachium.
(?) Sunshine is released.
January ???, 2022
Creation of Hush.
Hush’s brother tries to kill him.
Hush gives himself up to the Chorus, before escaping and killing all the Articulates who were sent to stop him.
Hush meets Doc.
The Department raids the CloseKnit building where Scorpius is/was being held.
Vega and Warden go to the CloseKnit building the Department had raided, but only find Hush there. Hush kills Vega and spares Warden.
i am. not well. as you can imagine.
most likely, the next Balance/Sovereign State video that gets released will be the creation of Hush, and if its not, im going to commit arson.
AUGH ERIK WHEN I FUCKING CATCH YOU—

I FORGOT NOW THAT IM ON TUMBLR WITH OTHER PEOPLE WHO SHARE MY HYPERFIXATION I CAN TALK ENDLESSLY ABOUT THIS SHIT WITHOUT HAVING TO SHRINK IN ON MYSELF WHEN I REALIZE NO ONE IS ACTUALLY LISTENING/ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT WHAT IM TALKING SO PASSIONATELY ABOUT-
Okay- so- I am a firm believer that Sam was absolutely right (back in the audio where Darlin' and Sam had just been informed that Quinn's work had been spotted out in the open-) when he mentioned that the body that was found could've very well been bait for Darlin'. I 100% believe it was meant to be bait for them. Like,,, as much as I parade around screaming about how stinky and stupid dumb-dumb Little Orphan Quinnie is, I know for a fact that he's not actually that much of an idiot. That being said, he definitely knows about the blood bond, and that body being dropped was basically him saying "I know we're connected, so come and get me." He's absolutely smarter than we all want him to be- I mean, he's a 50y/o vamp who was turned by old blood, we're kinda forced to give credit where it's due. We heard back in Sam's first audio that Quinn tends to clean up his messes pretty damn well—save for Fred and Bright, as Sam also mentioned—so, to me, there is no way in any hell that Quinn just "accidentally forgets to clean up a body." He knows he's being hunted by the Department. And he knows that somehow, Darlin' will catch wind of that body with the hopes that they'll come right to him where he can finally get things done and wrapped up. Whether that be because he's not sure how much of a range the blood bond has, or because they have people helping them out in the Department (which therein lies my fear for Ansel's safety seeing as he's the one doing most of the investigating up in Ferris.)
And I can hear you already "but Koob! Why would he kill them if he knew the Shaw Pack would just hunt him down like they're the goddamn forgotten Gods of The Wild Hunt-" aHA! But that's just the thing! Quinn knows Darlin's back in town, but he has no idea they've renewed their bond with the Pack- let alone definitely stronger than it was before. For all he knows, they're still the lone wolf they were when they met! He doesn't know Angel and Baabe even exist yet, so he doesn't see any places he can get in and torture them emotionally or mentally before he just offs them and calls it a night.
Until Darlin' didn't show up to find him where he left that bait. Now he knows that something—or someone—is keeping them from doing something reckless. And now that he knows,
He's on his way.
Anyway, thanks for listenin' to my little rant :D I've been keepin' this puppy(no pun intended) in my noggin every since that Gregory audio and the following Sam audio dropped!^-^

I’ve got a theory guys!!
Some of us were already theorising that Will asked Vincent to run the summit as some sort of test to see if he’s a worthy successor (presuming that one day Vincent will takes Wills position.)
What if Will asked Porter to come home for the summit just to stir the pot a little bit to REALLY test Vincent’s reserve?

So. It's time to fulfill my promise about Porter lmao.
Theory (and spoilers for Vincent and Sam's playlists as well as Sam's bonus scene) will be below the cut.
Well, at least we know now that he isn't Hush's brother.
In all seriousness though, I had no idea how to approach a theory about this guy that hasn't already been shouted from the rooftops on tumblr. So, I started with the bonus scene, and upon relistening, I heard something that I found.. odd.
Why, and how, was Porter the one texting Sam?
Everyone that I've seen is talking about Vincent and Porter's history (which is something I ended up doing too whoops), so with this, I want to theorize about Sam and Porter's (potential) history. Bear with me, I kind of lost interest in the Solaire's storylines in light of things like the Balance and Carpe Deus, so I might mess some things up lmao.
I've seen, and agree with, the "Porter is Alexis' progeny" theory, at least at its basic level. I do think that Porter was potentially turned by Alexis, hence the "Solaire," but I'm wondering if his situation wasn't closer Sam's than we originally thought. Let me cook real quick.
We don't know how old Porter is. We don't know when Porter was turned. Hell, we don't even know if this guy was empowered or not (different can of worms, I'm putting that aside). All we have is that he uses the last name "Solaire" and that he has Sam's contact information. Admittedly, we don't know much about Alexis past her age, but for the sake of this theory, that's all we really need.
If Alexis has been a vampire for over fifty years, and Sam has been a vampire for under twenty, then that leaves a little over thirty years where Alexis' could've been fucking around and finding out. The thing that people (including myself) tend to forget when thinking about Sam's turning is that Alexis knew how to do it. Sure, it was done to her by William, but we know from the timeline that she was badly injured when she was turned, so she probably didn't learn it just from that first instance. Furthermore, considering that she has been described as "difficult" and "a hellion" along with the fact that she was apparently so awful that William swore he'd never turn another person again, I'm guessing that she didn't study up on vampires and how they work.
So, what else is there? Hands-on experience; the best teacher. Enter, Porter. I'm not going to give an estimate of his age beyond "older than Sam," because an exact number doesn't really matter for this. I am, however, going to do what I do best, and point out parallels that I've noticed. Namely, the parallels between Fred and "Bright Eyes'" turning, and Sam's own experience with turning.
Time for a quick run-down for those who aren't too familiar with the Fred/"Bright Eyes" storyline! Basically, Quinn leaves both Fred and "Bright" on the brink of death. Sam sees Fred, turns him to save his life, and then tells Fred how to turn other people so he can save "Bright," which he does. From there, Sam takes on both vampires as his own, seeing as Fred is too inexperienced with, well, everything, to be a proper Maker. He teaches them for a couple of years, and then lets them go off on their own once he thinks they're ready. And at the end of it all, Fred decides to take Sam's last name.
Cool, great recap, but why am I bringing it up? Well, let's look over to Sam's story real quick. He was turned, though against his will, by Alexis, someone who we can infer isn't responsible enough to be a proper Maker. We know that once William caught wind of the full situation, he took matters into his own hands, separated the two, and set Sam up in a cabin on his own, as per his request. Knowing William, he most likely offered more help, but knowing Sam, he probably declined, and opted to live alone comfortably on the edge of the territory. In both situations, we have someone who can't or isn't a good Maker, and said vampire's Maker taking responsibility for their progeny's progeny.
What if this isn't William's first rodeo with caring for one of Alexis' progeny? What if Porter was one of Alexis' first progeny, with circumstances being similar to that of Sam's turning, and William took him under his wing? The difference this time, though, is that Porter accepted William's offer of more help. Now, this could be because William heard about Porter's situation sooner after it happened, or that Porter was unempowered and had no clue about anything -- either way, this next claim stands. What if Porter took the name "Solaire" from William, not Alexis?
If this is true, it would explain two things; 1) why Porter has Sam's number, and 2) why Porter and Vincent were at odds. The first reason is kind of self-explanatory. If Porter heard about what happened with Sam and Alexis via someone else in the clan and he empathized with it, then he probably would've reached out to offer support. What became of him reaching out could be a number of things, but it ended with the two of them exchanging contact information, and that's why Porter has Sam's number.
Now, on to the rockier claim. Let's start with this: I'm going to say that Porter is older than Vincent. If we run with the assumption that what I said earlier about William and Porter's relationship is true, Porter would've seen William as his true Maker, despite William not being the one to turn him. So, when Vincent gets turned, and William starts devoting his time to him, we can assume that Porter might get a little jealous. And that jealousy grew over time, especially because Vincent kept refusing the help that William was offering. He had the privilege of actually having a good and competent Maker, and he was spitting in his face? If what I theorized about Porter's past is true, then it's natural that that would irk him.
He kept it under wraps, though, and it got easier to tolerate Vincent; especially when he put his pride away and stopped being so difficult. But part of him was always stewing with jealousy. Now, I'm not saying that jealousy is the only reason why Porter and Vincent got into a fight that almost resulted in their deaths. I think that there was something that initiated it. Maybe it was something one of them said or did to the other -- I'm not sure. That being said, whatever it was brought all that jealousy to a head, and that's why they fought.
I don't know though! And I'm more than open to other interpretations. I have a few floater thoughts if we look at Porter in a more sinister light (e.g. Alexis and Porter are close and he got the number from her right before he sent the text), but I hadn't seen anyone make him out to be more sympathetic yet, so I decided to go that route! I hope you enjoyed this mess of a theory, and as always, if you notice any plotholes or have any evidence that contradicts this, please let me know :)

This might be a dumb idea but I’ve had it for a while:
Porter mentioned in the confrontation video that he was only freed when his Maker bite someone important. The way he said it made me think that his Maker might have bitten the child of a nobleman or something and then I thought… what if it was Quinn? What if Quinn and Porter had the same Maker?
I mean, with the accents, being older than some of the other vampires we know, it just makes me think.
Thank you for reading me ramble.

Redacted Theory
@frenchiefitzhere had me screaming at her about my thoughts on this so I'm putting it here too, just for fun! Also tagging @sincerelywhistler <3
We know Blake wants to save Bestie. The Sovereigns want out. They're using Bestie to manipulate Blake into the places they need him to be, Bestie is collateral damage, but so is Blake.
Blake is a very powerful Seer, but I doubt even a Seer can pull the Sovereigns out of their prison. They DO need him to come to them, but not as a soul which is what he would normally be if he died and hit the river by which time he'd barely have memories, let alone powers. They need him alive. The only way to force him to come to them is to threated Bestie so they can "break" him, but that does not mean what you think it does.
Using Brachiums promise to owe them a favour and Blake's desperation to save Bestie, the Sovereigns could cut Blakes threads. At the moment of cutting, what if they harnessed that power, snatched those loose ends, desperately searching for something to wrap themselves around? What if the "Weavers" lived up to their name and wove a new life form?
And that's what Hush is.
That's why he has no core and is the "silence" in the Spellsong. Not human, not demon. Not a Sovereign. More and less, something new. Magic unfettered. A brand new being, old and young at the same time with just one command: to free free the most dangerous beings in the universe.
And Blake will be pushed back into Elegy without his powers, full of rage and vengence and utterly helpless. And Hush will run, persued by Brachium who tried to kill him from the day he was born.
