• TADA! MY FIRST PLAYSTATION GAME I EVER BOUGHT (IN MY LIFE)! 😁💿🎮 A copy of "Gran Turismo 7" for the PlayStation 4!

Aww yeah! Aren't ya excited, you two?! I hope so!😃

• Now, I ordered this copy of GT7 PS4 game version for ₱ 1,490 discounted (₱ 1,500 off) from Datablitz's PlayStation "Incredible deals sale" [CLICK ME!] on December 27th, 2022 via Lazada PH 🇵🇭🛒🌐. Huge deal for me to get my hands on! The original price of GT7 PS4 copy was ₱ 2,990. 😃🏷️💿🎮

• Upon opening the case, the GT7 PS4 version has two discs instead of one (like you've seen in other PS4 CD games). And speaking of one disc, the PS5 version of GT7 has the latter. Pretty interesting to see here, with the last recorded was the "GT Sport Spec II" for the PS4 also has two discs, which is very uncommon for some [CLICK ME!]. But, the most memorable in the Gran Turismo franchise was GT2 in 1999 (for the PS1), where they shipped two discs; the Arcade mode disc, and the Simulation mode disc. If you want more information about GT7's format disc, then please [CLICK ME!].

• I've been there before albeit a fake pirated disc because I can't afford an original PS1 disc. And decades later (after passing through PS gen consoles), I managed to snag an original PlayStation copy game disc using my funds! Isn't it cool owning two discs in one game, huh you two!? 😁

• Finally, side comparison with my existing copy of GT Sport PS4 game gifted by my little bro on December 25th, 2020 (Christmas Day). 😊🎁🎄

• Now, I haven't finish my GT Sport progress, I'm still dealing with "Circuit Experience", as well as league races & the addition of "Lewis Hamilton Time Trial Challenge". Although, the latter, I need to pony up some dough for the PSN credits & buy this DLC expansion. You know, if only it could add it to the game already, then I don't have to pay extra. 😕 Damn, I want a challenge "The Maestro" himself.

Fun fact: Did you know, that I'm a fan of (Sir) Lewis Hamilton? 😁 🇬🇧🏎️ I remember seeing him on TV screen live when he drives the Mclaren F1 team back in 2007. Yes, at the time, Lewis was part of the Mclaren F1 team, and he helped the team to dominate the F1 team competition. As of 2023, Lewis was part of the "Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team" 🏎️🇬🇧 since debut in 2012 (after he departure from the Mclaren F1 team).

Another Fact: Did you know, that you can transfer your GT Sport save data to GT7? 🙂💾➡️💾That's right! Much like other previous GT installments, I can carry my existing GT Sport save data game to a new GT installment instead of creating new data for GT7 from scratch. And that's exactly what I'm gonna attempt. 😁

• And lastly, I want a pointed out something... I noticed, there was a broken tooth upon opening the disc cover of the same racing game. 😕 So, what did I do? Well, I snapped that piece & glue it with super glue, along with scotch tape to hold it up in place before I snap the disc tray like you've seen in this picture. 🙂

Overall:

• I love owning an original game copy, and this GT7 for the PS4 is no exception. 😁💿🎮 And don't worry, I will finish my GT Sport progress if I have free time (of course) before I proceed to the new Gran Turismo installment! I can't wait to drive old & new cars, as well as other features. Are you excited, you four?

Hi! No, I won't stop making gifs for this blog, but I have been less inspired lately and I'm more active on my other blogs. To compare the two wouldn't be right, as the gk tag isn't that big, but when you put time and effort into a gifset of a movie/series you love and you get more engagement it's just different. Like I never would've imagined one of my posts there would get over 900 notes, that's just crazy to me and it motivates me a lot more to make stuff. To put it simply, I still enjoy making gifs, as that's the first and foremost reason as to why I do it, yet the moment you do get engagement and other users love the thing you made, sharing said thing so other users can see it and/or love the thing you've made with their own tags and insight, it makes the whole tumblr experience a lot more fun.

Of course, I experience that here too, and there are lovely peeps hanging around here, but it's sad to see really amazing gifsets/edits that I know must've taken hours to make by just looking at it, not getting the engagement, and thus disappearing into the tumblr void. Like the only thing I can do about it is put stuff into the hbowardaily queue but that also takes time and I don't always have the time and energy of the world lol.

For example, I scrolled through my blog real quick and these are the notes on a bob gifset and a gk gifset. Likes are nice, and every creator must adore everyone who even wants to look at their stuff, but it isn't how this website works.

Anyway, no worries anon!! I understand it's probably mostly new users who just don't know and that's fine. I rb'd the post because it is bothering me again lately and I thought maybe some of my followers would have some use of it to better understand this hellsite. I see you blank blogs lol 👀. I'm just afraid that if this continues, there won't be a tumblr anymore after a few years because it can't function properly, and then where do we go? Not twitter lmao.

Edit: I'm not here to dictate how you should live your life just pointing out a problem in the current tumblr 'culture' that can't really be argued on as this website isn't built with an algorithm where likes matter but revolves around reblogs and that this currently doesn't help the website in any way whatsoever and that some creators, including me, rather put their effort where there is actual engagement. I love you babes, but let's keep this site alive, please. If you love something some other users make, REBLOG it.

my day was okay, very chill nothing really happened :) and yes the dance was on friday and it was very fun but my feet hurt afterwards but it was worth it<3 try not to stress yourself out about your essay, play apex and if you aren’t that tired after work on your essay if you feel like it

i may get some writing done for the fic later too if it doesn’t get too late

I am so so so happy that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is getting so much positive reception. After I got home w my friends we couldn't do anything but talk about it and we sat in a bit of stunned silence for a bit because we realized that this is literally the first time that we've ever gotten such accurate representation. I got emotional three times throughout the film, not because of plot, but because of the little details that just connected with me so much as a Chinese diaspora kid.

That being said - if you're posting about it:

Please for the love of god stop calling Wenwu "the Mandarin." In the film he literally talks about how that name is an appropriation and literally makes fun of how america was scared of a moniker based on a goddamn citrus fruit. I know IMDb and the wikia list him a such, but quite frankly, it's wrong. Sorry not sorry. The name "Mandarin" is an appropriation so please call him by his actual name, 徐文武 (pronounced Xú Wénwǔ).

The appropriate pinyin spelling for Shang-Chi is Shangqi (officially his name is 徐尚氣, pronounced Xú Shàngqì). Shang-Chi is just the romanized version to make it easier for westerners to pronounce.

Do. Not. Call. Him. Shang. If you can say Mary Jane every time you talk about Spider-man's love interest you certainly can say Shangqi. Chi/qi isn't his middle name, it's literally part of his personal name. He very clearly did not give anyone permission to shorten his name to Shang. Refer to him by his proper name.

Another thing I appreciate about The Book of Boba Fett is that both lead characters are past what media likes to classify as "the prime." Temuera Morrison is 60 and Ming-Na Wen is 57. Like. A show that showcases older POC as people who can be fucking badass as well? Sign me the fuck up
