“Outside” by Fiji Blue
Genre-bending duo Fiji Blue look to take their dreams of love into a reality in recent release “Outside.”
Appearing on their latest EP Reasons You Should Care, “Outside” features the guys’ signature “sad boy chill house” sound that will have you crying as easily as it’ll have you dancing. With an emotional serenade that calls out, “Baby, I’m outside…been think’ it ain’t right if you and me / Only see us in our dreams” that then gets paired with a groovy backbeat that you’d find at mid-summer daytime house set, it’s true art that Fiji Blue has been able to find hope in the hopeless.
The two describe their music as touching on “the inner conflicts between waves of sadness and ecstasy” and after one listen to “Outside” it’s clear what they mean.
The Reasons You Should Care EP marks the Los Angeles newcomers first departure from purely single releases and includes six songs including previous releases “Wait!” and “It Takes Two.”
The guys will be bringing the EP to life during their fall tour support with Verzache on his My Head Is A Moshpit tour. For tickets and information click HERE.
