Our finished lounge is beyond our expectations. We are so delighted with how it all feels. Light and bright when the sun shines and starting to feel cosy this evening - this room has never really felt cosy!!! 😅 . @jbdecor_glasgow worked their magic after an epic amount of prep work on these old walls and the first coat of paint on our Victorian cornicing in (we think) +20 years. The walls and woodwork are painted in @tikkurila_uk colour matched to F&B Green Smoke and the ceiling and cornice in off white. . @surfaceplus_ worked their magic this last week on our old beech floor, mellowing the orange tones and removing the horrific scratches, it’s also now close in tone to our new floor, which will be laid in our hall and kitchen so hopefully it will all flow nicely. . Lisa @reddoor_interiors was also on hand with her colour advice, emotional support and supply of “brave pills” pushing us to take the woodwork the same colour as the walls. .
