Doing all this bc as it turns out, after two months of trying to fix it the technician declared the pc dead. I used my laptop to draw, make animatics sometimes, be commissioned art, to start mcyt community projects and events, and other personal uses.

I do not have the money to buy it on my own, so if you can't either, I ask on my knees to reblog this post in the hopes someone kind with extra money sees it and can help me out a little, with whatever amount they can. A few dollars make a huge difference if a bunch of people have them spare, for example.

Edit: unfortunately had to spend money on stuff recently, for traditional art, errands and things for my cat so the goal has gone backwards.

Edit 2: had a medical emergency and the cost completely drained what I had.

Current goal: 0/500€ (for a good laptop I won't have to replace immediately)

Everyone on dash, mutuals and not, please take air in. And out. In. And out. Slowly. Again three times.

If you're feeling affected by what's happening, take some time for yourself, discard your phone, take a walk or watch a movie, have a snack, drink something, take your meds. I know it feels overwhelming and yet you feel like you have to be vigilant and keep doomscrolling, I know it's a lot and you're full to the brim. Go wash your face, put your favorite music on. Distract your stressed mind and body, let go of the stress in your shoulders and jaw.

Please take a step back and stop attacking each other, this is a time delicate deal, it'll take time for news and more info to come out, if that's what you want. It'll take time for everyone to swallow what the past days and especially today have brought, give yourself and others time to collect your thoughts, and calm a bit.

I know it feels like you need to keep watch, to scream, panic, to protect and defend, but you have to let go of the dark thoughts for a bit, collect your mind and dont make yourself sick. Please.

You're safe, breathe, it's okay, it'll be okay <3

If qsmp is reopening tomorrow for real, I'm gonna assume two things, because it's better to read something in good will than doompost.

1) stuff will still be ongoing behind the scenes, but the thing that had to be done immediately (pay the workers and clear names) has supposedly been done.

2) we are aware that everyone involved is pressured into making things fast, even though it should be done in its right time, it's still an entertainment company, so they have people pushing.

I do think they should at least take one week off, but I assume they're eager to reopen to prepare for the one year anniversary.

I also realize it's kinda like... Okay the streamers won't die there's other games, and they have the issue at heart, and they believe in quackity and his skills, but he's also a guy in his twenties with a big load on his shoulders. I'm not excusing the lack of involvement, I'm explaining it's a factor in this. He's said that was bad and he'll be more involved. That's it.

I also realize Its a big fucking project so, work to optimize it is has probably been planned and will be be applied where it's needed, in the weeks and months that follow.

Also the audience is BIG, it's literally worldwide, so, while it feels like we may be calm here on tumblr with our few thousands, remember that there's that pressure from the whole audience and to show possible sponsors they've got their shit together.
