Forêts primaire et thermes à Coranipe.

Les 11 et 12 octobre 2019.

Après avoir quitté les copains polynésiens nous voilà de nouveau sur la route, direction la réserve naturelle El Cani et une bonne randonnée pour suer l'alcool ingurgité 😁 Sous les nuages et la pluie, le trek ne nous délivrera pas tous ses charmes mais l'essentiel est là, se remettre sur pattes!!

La rando bouffée dans la matinée nous reprenons la route à midi direction Coranipe et le lac Calafquen. Sur une piste de montagne en direction du Volcan Quetrupillan, nous faisons connaissance avec un personnage exceptionnel, Alejandro. Avec sa femme et ses deux enfants, ils vivent en quasi autonomie dans la montagne qui l'a vu naître. Ancien ranger du parc national et de sang Mapuche par sa grand-mère, il connaît bien la région et tout ses trésors. Il nous guide dans la forêt primaire et nous impressionne par ses connaissances et son charisme. Après une balade dans sa forêt mystique ou "bosque", pleine de fées et d'elfes (si,si j'en ai vu!!), nous allons prendre un bain chaud dans les thermes de la famille de Yenni, sa femme. Quel moment de BONHEUR... Perdus au milieu de la forêt, dans un canyon escarpé, au bord d'une rivière, une terrasse en bois contenant trois bassins d'eau thermale à 40° 😍 Armés de bières Motrulo et de nourriture nous y resterons de 18h à 21h30 😬

Après ça nous serons invités par Alejandro à garer le Kombi pour la nuit sur son terrain, dans une clairière où une de ses brebis s'est fait tuer par le puma 15 jours plus tôt, avec sa laine comme preuve du carnage 😅 gloups

Après une nuit sans puma mais pleine de rêves nous avons fais nos aurevoirs à Alejandro et sa famille, qui nous ont offert 4 oeufs pour notre départ. Nous sommes partis encore une fois la larme à l'oeil, avec un sentiment de gratitude pour notre bonne étoile et de reconnaissance envers ces personnes si généreuses.

El primer caso, corresponderia a un docente de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias de la Universidad Austral, quien el viernes25 se adentró en el Parque Nacional Conguillío y, desde entonces, no se ha sabido sobre él. Fue identificado como Eduardo Von Bennewitz, y según relatan allegados, este realizaba trekking de montaña habitualmente. Ante la falta de comunicación del docente, un amigo presentó una denuncia en el retén de Carabineros de Isla Teja. . Por lo anterior, la fiscal Sandra González instruyó al Servicio de Investigación Policial -SIP-, Gurpo de OPeraciones Policiales Especiales -GOPE- de Carabineros, además de la Brigada de Homicidios -BH- de la Policia de Investigaciones -PDI- El segundo caso de desaparecidos reporta al menos a tres turistas quienes desde el sábado son buscados por Socorro Andino, Bomberos y la Conaf en el volcán Quetrupillán. De estos no se tiene mayor información, puesto que no se registraron en el acceso del parque. La situación climática complica el rescate de los turistas, debido a que en el lugar se registran bajas temperaturas, densa nieve y viento blanco. Día 7

Desperté por el ruido del viento. Increíblemente produce que las copas de los árboles suenen como olas del mar. Es cuática la sensación, como si la carpa te transportase hacia otro lugar.

Hoy por fin terminamos nuestro trabajo en el sendero. Tuvimos que transportar los últimos materiales e instalar los últimos “pastelones” para lograr llegar al mirador. Subimos finalmente después del almuerzo, y pudimos disfrutar de la vista de los volcanes Quetrupillan, Lanin Villarrica, Mocho y Choshuenco, además de una vista panorámica de todo el parque.

En la cima del mirador descansa además el compañero Chugui, muerto en batlla al momento de tomarnos una foto como cuadrilla.

La felicidad por terminar el trabajo es infinita.

Llegando al campamento recibí un fuerte abrazo de CP, lo que me motivó para buscarla con más esmero. Con el resto del campamento jugamos a la pelota, y posteriormente tuvimos una charla de formación donde arreglamos el mundo y alimentamos los egos de varios.

Después de la cena jugamos “Obscoco” con prácticamente la mitad, momento donde CP dijo que no le gustaba nadie. Eso me entristeció un poco.

Al terminar, me encontré con ella. Si bien me había invitado a su carpa, y luego se arrepintió, tras 5 minutos de pensamiento fui a preguntarle si quería caminar o algo,y al final nos quedamos converzando hasta casi las 3 am., con risas y dos fuertes abrazos en el intertano. Me resulta curioso y triste que sus muestras deafecto puedan ser contadas con una mano.

Pucón is the adventure capital of the Chilean lake district. Climbing, cycling, hiking, skiing. You name it.

A super popular day hike is the private nature reserve El Cañi Sanctuary. It’s about an 8 hour day Pucón to Pucón for most people.

1240 metres (4068 feet) ascent.

A highlight is the unique Araucaria (monkey-puzzle) forrest. Perhaps my favourite tree.

If weather is clear from the summit mirador, you see many volcanoes: Volcán Llaima, Volcán Villarrica, Volcán Quetrupillan and Volcán Lanin.

Almost everyone does this as a day hike. But it’s possible to tent at Laguna Negra or or at the Aserradero hut for about $13 if you prefer.

Another highlight is the add-on Lagunas del Cañi (lake circuit). Some trails are narrow and overgrown.

I reached the summit mirador with two trail runners from France. We took photos of one another.

It’s a long way down. Then back to town … or to one of many hotsprings near the trailhead, Termas Los Pozones was recommended. I rushed back to catch a 12 hour night bus.

Most people do this hike independently taking the local bus 13 miles (20 km) themselves. But you can hire a guide in Pucón for about $100.
