sarah and four have this occasional ten-and-rose-in-tooth-and-claw energy that I simply cannot watch without giggling. it’s the casual way they go about sneaking around and picking locks and making jokes with no fear or anxiety and then dropping everything and sprinting when they hear someone coming, clinging to each other as they hide around a corner. there’s something juvenile about it and I love it :)

This is maybe my all time favorite companion-Doctor interaction in the history of the show. It was also the first scene where I saw Sarah Jane when she was traveling in the TARDIS.

It was the first classic serial I ever watched almost 15 years ago, and that "oooh, I know you're a Time Lord" and little move with the scarf has lived in my head ever since. A perfect microcosm of the series right here.

I love it with all my heart.
